Xingyi Wanfeng Forest is the first stop in Southwest Guizhou, and it is also the most unmissable scenic spot in Xingyi.

Wanfeng Forest is the largest and most typical karst peak forest in China.
When Xu Xiake came here, he once sighed: "there are so many mountains in the world, only here are the peaks forming a forest"; he also wrote in his travel notes: "the peaks standing in a cluster, majestic for thousands of miles, are the wonders of the southwest", which shows the peculiarity of Wanfeng Forest. landscape.
Wanfenglin Scenic Area is very large. You can live in the scenic area directly when you come here to play. In addition to seeing the peak forest, you can also visit the rice field market here, go to the village to eat authentic Baogu fried rice, play rock climbing and take a small train , You can also take a walk in the field and enjoy the shade under the banyan tree on the bridge.
When we went, the rice had already been harvested, so the fields were full of this kind of straw stacks. If we went half a month earlier, we could see the golden rice fields in the Wanfeng Forest, which was very beautiful.
Wanfenglin Scenic Area is very large, including many villages. You can book a homestay here and live in it directly. You can see the peak forest in the homestay, but if you want a better view, you need to buy a sightseeing ticket and follow the scenic spots to visit. On the mountainside, you can overlook the village under the Wanfeng forest, and the view of taking pictures and viewing the scenery is also better.
Among them, this point is called Liuliu Dashun, because you can see the six sharp peaks, which also gives a very beautiful meaning.
Under the Wanfeng forest, there is a relatively simple rural life. The village life here is very strong. Under the banyan trees, you can see that the locals are selling some special products. The price is not high, but the quality of the things is not bad.
At the entrance of our homestay, there is a field. If you come half a month earlier, it should be very beautiful. You can see the peak forest when you look up, and the landscape effect is still very good.
Going along this country road, there are many homestays on both sides, ranging from one or two hundred to one or two thousand, and many homestays are still very nice. At the location of the big banyan tree, it is a market center, and you can eat here.
I strongly recommend the Baogu fried rice here. It is really delicious and unique. Anyway, you can’t eat it in ordinary places, and I have never seen it.
In Wanfenglin Scenic Area, there is also a very interesting rice field market. For young people, it must not be missed. You can drink a cup of coffee here, take pictures, or just sit and enjoy the wind. It is very comfortable.
Being away from the city makes life here very simple. There is no nine-to-five, but it makes the journey full of fun.
In the southwestern part of Guizhou, there is also such a hidden castle, built in a European style on a small island in the lake, blending with the surrounding lake and mountains, it is very beautiful. It is also one of the most niche scenic spots in Guizhou, and there are not many tourists so far.
In fact, this is a resort with a low degree of commercialization. Apart from a hotel and a cruise ship, there is basically nothing else. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, which is very suitable for weekend vacation and leisure.

Qinglong Twenty-Four Turns is a winding mountain road in Qinglong County, southwest of Guizhou Province. It is actually a very famous anti-Japanese road.
The location of Qinglong Twenty-Four Turns is very dangerous, almost all of which are high mountains. In ancient times, it was called "Crow Pass". trend.
Even if you look at it from the perspective of sightseeing now, it is very steep. The drop between the foot of the mountain and the top of the mountain is very high. In ancient times, it must have been a battleground for military strategists.
Qinglong twenty-four turns, the straight-line distance from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain is only more than 300 meters, but the vertical drop reaches 260 meters.
The entire Panshan Highway is built in an "S" shape along the mountain on a slope with an inclination of about 60 degrees. Imposing.
It takes about one or two hours to go from Xingyi to Qinglong 24th Road, which is quite convenient.
There is a viewing platform in the scenic spot, even without a drone, you can see the whole picture.
Maling River Canyon is also a must-see scenic spot in Xingyi.
This canyon is very interesting. There are high mountains on both sides, and the middle is like a torn rift. Looking down from the top, it looks like a seam in the ground, and looking up in the canyon, it looks like a line of sky.
Maling River originates from Baiguoling in the Wumeng Mountains. In the 100-kilometer-long process from the river to the estuary, the drop is nearly a kilometer, and the downcutting ability is strong. The 74.8-kilometer-long Maling River Canyon is cut on the flat plain at an altitude of 1,200 meters.
Coming here is not so much to see the canyon, but to see the waterfall. Due to the unique landform, there are so many waterfalls here. There are countless waterfalls in the entire canyon scenic area, large and small.
The Maling River is full of green water all year round, and the waterfalls hang high on both sides of the mountains. This is the most attractive part of the Maling River Canyon.
When we went, although it was a high temperature of around 34 degrees, the canyon did not feel the heat at all, and it was very cool.
The waterfalls hanging on the mountain are pouring down, one by one, like thousands of troops, galloping forward.
Because of the rich water resources and the relatively long canyon, the Maling River is very suitable for rafting.
It’s just that when we went, the weather was not so hot, so basically no one was rafting. The whole rafting was 11 kilometers long, which was basically one of the longest rafting in China. If you come next summer, you must go and play.
Compared with waterfalls in other places, I think the waterfalls in Maling River are more beautiful and suitable for taking pictures.
Both sides are rocky mountains, rushing down from the top, surrounded by high humidity for a long time, covered with bushes and moss, blending together, it seems to have arrived in a secret place where there is no one.
If you come to Xingyi, you must come here once. When you see the canyon waterfall and feel their galloping power, many questions in your mind have answers. Maybe this is the power of nature.
