What is there in Southeast Yunnan? ——Its spring is so beautiful: the rapeseed field in Luoping; the peach blossom forest in Qingqiu in Sansheng III; the Hani terraced fields in Yuanyang; They are still together, waiting for you in the most beautiful season. Spring in southeastern Yunnan is like a thick oil painting, the sky is blue, the flowers are golden, the hills are green, and the terraced fields are red. Many times we have seen the beautiful pictures of many places in advance and planted grass. It is like being attracted by a seller’s show. We want to go but are afraid of disappointment. If we don’t go, we are thinking about it. Southeast did not disappoint me at all. A year later, I rewrite this travel note on such a rainy afternoon, and I still think she is the best.

D1: On the first day of the first lunar month on February 5, 2019, bid farewell to the rainy city of Shanghai and fly to the spring city - Kunming. It is really a pleasant spring day, the wind blows on the body is warm and sunny, and the mood is joyful, "Throughout the ages, there are only two south, and the body is warm when spring comes." I thought that Hainan in winter is also in summer, and Yunnan is more comfortable in comparison. Probably because of the first day of the new year, the shops were closed and the streets were very quiet. Since we arrived in the evening, it is a pity that we will not have time to experience this thousand-year-old city in the future, but I think Yunnan will come many times, so it’s okay to save it for the next time.

D2: ——Spring comes early in Luoping, and flowers bloom in Jinjiling.

Drive from Kunming to Luoping, the journey is about 230KM. Rapeseed flowers in Luoping are particularly famous. This is probably the earliest place where rapeseed flowers bloom, and there is also a group of Jiulong waterfalls. I also visited Luoping once in the summer of 2015 when I visited Southwest Guizhou. Luoping in summer is very ordinary, and the water in the waterfall is not very big. Although the rapeseed field is large, there are almost no people in the off-season. In the Spring Festival, the Jiulong Waterfall is full of tourists and very lively. Because of the good weather, the mountains and rivers are beautiful. Although the waterfalls are not very spectacular, they are famous for their groups. As soon as you enter the door, there are Yingbin Waterfall/Mandarin Duck Waterfall/Shenlong Waterfall... Be sure to go to the highest viewing platform, you can see the panorama is very spectacular! The weather along the way is not very tiring, about 4 hours, you can enjoy this spring.


It is only a dozen kilometers from Jiulong Waterfall to Niujie. When we arrived at Niujie in the evening, the traffic jam was already very serious. Niujie is located in the north of Luoping County. Niujie does not have this road name. The local people are used to calling it that way. The terraced fields are unique—the terraced fields reclaimed from the bottom of the valley are full of rapeseed flowers, and the circles of yellow-brown regular and orderly ridges resemble the spiral patterns on screws, so they are specially named screw fields. The viewing platform is halfway up the mountain on the side of the road. It is in the flower season. The narrow road is crowded with people, just to witness the first touch of yellow in full bloom. It is really beautiful! This is a beautiful oil painting created by the joint efforts of nature and man!

D3: Depart for Jinji Ridge in the morning, which is another flower viewing spot in Luoping. Surrounded by karst cone-shaped mountains one after another, 800,000 mu of rapeseed flowers are quietly lying in the middle, competing to bloom, stretching for tens of miles, stunning the whole world. Three years ago, it was just a roadside viewing platform, but now it has expanded to a leisure scenic spot. First go to Jinji Peak to climb up and overlook, and then go to the rapeseed flower field to enjoy the flowers. Those who want to take pictures of the sunrise in Jinjiling start early in the morning and wait there with long guns and short cannons. The rapeseed flowers in Jinjiling should bloom in different periods, one month before and after, and now there is still a yellow-green interval.

Leaving Luoping in the bright spring sun, I went to Puzhehei, where Puzhehei became more prosperous because of "Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms". Everyone was looking forward to it, but the journey was a bit long and there was a bit of traffic jam on the road. It was already evening when we arrived at Puzhehei Village on a road of more than 200 kilometers. In the evening, a bonfire party was arranged in the yard. The local Yi people led everyone to sing and dance, taught everyone to dance with bamboo poles, lit torches together, and finally set off fireworks...

D4:——Be a Qingqiu person for a day

Today is very busy, I don't have enough time to see Qingqiu in one day. If you want to watch the sunrise, you have to get up early in the morning and walk ten minutes from where you live to the foot of Qinglong Mountain. Qinglong Mountain is not high. You can walk to the top of the mountain in half an hour, overlooking Puzhehei. The morning light wakes up the village. The mountains are undulating in the distance, and the flowing water is winding nearby. This is really a beautiful green hill like a painting.

Come down from the top of Qinglong Mountain and go to the cruise ship pier. In spring, the water of Puzhehei Lake is clear, the sky is high and the clouds are light. Boating in it, wandering among the mountains and rivers, the gentle lake breeze blowing across the cheeks, the heart is also drunk.


In the afternoon, I wandered around the village. There are two neighboring villages here, one is Puzhehei Village and the other is Xianrendong Village. There is a fork in the middle of the two villages. It is a public market. The time is limited, so we can only choose to go One village, the natural scenery of the two villages should be similar, and you can take a horse-drawn carriage to the village entrance. It is said that Puzhehei Village has its own character, and there are houses left by "Where are you going, Dad?" We chose to go to Xianrendong Village. There are many along the lake. It is a pleasure to choose a house near the distant mountains and lakes in a comfortable inn.


After visiting the village, we rushed to visit the filming location of "Three Lives III Ten Miles of Peach Blossom". I don't know why this scenic spot is currently closed, and we can only enter after 6 o'clock. After 6 o'clock, everyone crowded over and followed the drama to the scene. The flow of people is like a tide, and I have never found the scene of ten miles of peach blossoms, but I saw this thatched shed and the dark branches of the peach tree. The decoration without peach blossoms is much inferior. I don’t know if there are peach blossoms in full bloom here in March/April. One day is really not enough to see it. It is said that the most beautiful time here is summer, when the lotus is full of lakes, boating and splashing water.


D5:——our youth

After breakfast, go to Mengzi. Mengzi is the hometown of rice noodles. Eating a bowl of cross-bridge rice noodles is like a feast. Bisezhai, where "Fang Hua" was filmed, is a section of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway and the first private railway in China. The pale yellow French architecture and the Paris clock make her both historical and artistic. Men, women and children are all here to take photos of the Republic of China or military uniforms. There are a bunch of people on the seats on the platform waiting to take pictures at the C position, so as to relive their youthful memories. Just like walking on the railway tracks when I was a child, there are quite a few people taking pictures along this "inch-gauge" railway... The narrow platform is like a studio, full of people, no matter what time you return to People feel a kind of excitement, and they can't help themselves.



After playing, go to Yuanyang. The temperature along the way will soar and it will be close to 30°. Along the way, you will see a variety of tropical fruit stalls and banana forests being harvested. Continue to Yuanyang on the winding mountain road. It takes more than 5 hours to drive. The popular scenic spot was stuck in traffic all the way, and finally arrived at Yuanyang Bada Terraced Fields before sunset. At this time, there were already a sea of ​​people, but the terraced fields could not be seen, and it was difficult to ask someone to make room to squeeze in. The clouds are too thick today. , I feel that I can't see the sunset anymore, some people leave one after another, and some people want to wait a little longer unwillingly. The layers of terraced fields seem to be covered with a veil in the afterglow of the setting sun, adding a touch of grace to the vastness.

D6:——Sculpture of Time

I went out at 5:20, facing the starry sky, braving the cold, (the temperature difference on the mountain is very large, it is still quite cold in the morning) everyone got up so early because they wanted to occupy the best viewing position. Watching the sunrise is the hardest thing. It’s hard to get up early and it’s cold. It’s so dark at first that you can’t see anything clearly. Gradually, there is a gleam of light. You can vaguely see the villages on the mountainside. Then the sun came out. This The "crafts" sculpted in the mountains for more than a thousand years shine brightly at the moment of sunrise!

To avoid crowds, you can hike on the terraces at close range, walk along the terraces to the village, and you can also see the ancient Hani mushroom houses, canals, water mills, and other production and living facilities. Yuanyang Terraced Fields is indeed a sculpture of the earth and a masterpiece of the Hani people. No words or pictures can express the majestic momentum and the change of light and shadow... Walking in Qingkou Village, one side is the quaint ecological houses and the other side is the beautiful terraced fields. I think this trek is very worthwhile.


After leaving Yuanyang, drive for 4 hours and arrive at Jianshui Ancient City in the afternoon. To be honest, this is the first time I have heard of the name Jianshui. Known as Lin'an in ancient times, this ancient city with a history of more than one thousand years still has many historical sites. After passing through the city gate, you will find Confucius Cultural Square, Zhu De's former residence, Xuezheng Examination Shed, Puying Temple, Confucian Temple, Zhilin Temple, Qingtian Ancient Well... There are many delicious foods in Ximen. After visiting Jianshui Ancient City, you can eat barbecue. The barbecue here is cheap and delicious, and you can grill everything, including dark dishes, so don't miss it!

D7:——Tunnel of Time

This morning, I took the Yunnan-Vietnam train (line: Lin'an Station-Shuanglong Bridge-Xianghui Bridge-Tuanshan Station). This is a unique wooden train in Jianshui~everything is made of wood, ceilings, walls, floors, tables, chairs, window frames... Retro wall lamps and shaking old electric fans, even tickets It is the past version, as if taking us back to a century old time...


Pass through and stop at the major scenic spots in Jianshui City along the way. Get off the train at the terminal station and walk for a few minutes to Tuanshan Ancient Village. The Luxi River flowing from the entrance of the village, stretches of paddy fields, ducks playing in the water, vegetables and fruits in front of and behind the houses... let People feel that Jianshui is really a good place to live. A day in Jianshui is an unexpected surprise. Jianshui in February is simple, warm and bright; feel the history of Jianshui all the way, and wander in the spring of Jianshui all the way.


I returned to Kunming from Jianshui in the afternoon and lived near the Dounan Flower Market. The Dounan Flower Market is the largest fresh-cut flower market in China and even in Asia. D8: return Kunming - Shanghai high-speed rail 11 hours. On the return journey by high-speed rail, when I looked up, it was already winter outside the window, and it was gray, and the Kunming blue was gone these days. The spring date of 2019 ended with fond memories, and it reminded me deeply every winter after that.
