The water rushes down from the upstream, the water splashes in all directions, and when it falls on the stones, it splashes water vapor. Knowing that going up is the Hongguoshu Waterfall, but the little friend has infinite interest in this small world, and insists on going down to have an intimate contact with the water.
The water is very clear, and the stones and aquatic plants at the bottom of the water can be clearly seen. There is the rushing sound of the waterfall in the ear, and there is a roar in the distance. Walking on the bridge, one side is a wide short waterfall, and the other side is a calm lake. One movement and one stillness, just at the two ends of the bridge, it looks very harmonious.
After having a good time, I went to the waterfall. The best place to watch the waterfall is of course the waterfall viewing platform. You can tell from the name that people are here to watch the waterfall. Of course, it is definitely the best place to take pictures. Compared with Huangguoshu, there is absolutely no need to worry about countless heads when taking pictures of a waterfall here.
Although it may not be described as a crowd, it is indeed deserted enough. Although there are always tourists here and there, it takes a long time for each wave to usher in the next wave. Perhaps it is not as good as Huangguoshu in terms of waterfalls, but in terms of viewing experience, it is not inferior at all.
The waterfall is 35 meters high and 28 meters wide. It is not a high water season, and the water potential is not too large. It is said that in summer, the water of this waterfall is huge, the waves are like thunder, and the rainbow refracted by the water mist in the sun can obliquely cross the valley. I looked at the sky again, and the sun poked out a small head, but it seemed shy and shy, and it would retreat behind the clouds soon. Therefore, the rainbow is missed.
Under the waterfall is Peacock Lake, 10 meters deep and 40 meters wide. The water is so clear that you can almost see the bottom of the lake. In the dry season, it is said that there are only thin silver threads and trickling water. I am very fortunate that it just rained a few days ago. Although I did not wait for its wet season, at least it did not catch up with its dry season.
Not far from the side, there is a statue of Laozi and an inscription of "Laozi Yushui", "The best kindness is like water, and the virtues carry things", which is probably the Taoist thought that Hongguoshu wants to convey.
Like its good buddy, Huangguoshu, Hongguoshu also has a water curtain hole, which is located halfway up the waterfall. It is an underground world in various poses and with different forms. There are multiple windows to watch the waterfall from the inside out. There are many strange stones in the cave, and the natural water tank has been formed after thousands of years of flowing water, which is of great ornamental value.
"There are two seasons in a mountain, and the inside and outside are distinct. Without passing through this cave, it is difficult to understand the strangeness of this place." It is the characteristic of constant temperature in winter and summer in Shuilian Cave. It is warm in winter and cool in summer, which are completely opposite to those outside the cave. season.
The red fruit tree is even better than the yellow fruit tree because of its high negative oxygen ions, which is the place with the highest negative oxygen ions in the world. The negative oxygen ions around the waterfall are as high as 40,000 to 100,000 per cubic centimeter. It is the titles such as "Donglin Mountains and Waters Ecological Environment", "High Negative Oxygen Ion Health Environment", "Living Environment of Wild Red Bean Shirt" that make the red fruit tree more and more famous. Go out from the water curtain cave and stand on the platform on one side, overlooking the waterfall. From this point of view, waterfalls, pools, cliffs, and peaks are unobstructed.
There is also a waterfall hotel here. Although the facilities do not seem to be very good, there are still many guests. Perhaps, they came here to keep in good health? After all, for urban tourists with serious smog, the high negative oxygen ions of red fruit trees are really attractive!
Coming out of Hongguoshu Scenic Area, my friend suggested walking along the other side of the river. For me, who never likes to go back, this suggestion is still very happy.
After passing through a large area of papaya flowers, the village is in sight, where there are patches of cherry trees and rapeseed flowers. Although the trees have not yet grown, and the scale of rapeseed flowers is not endless, it is still a rich pastoral scenery after all. It can be seen that many villagers' homes are being renovated, presumably because they are preparing to welcome a large number of tenants during the peak tourist season, right?
There is also a Guanyin Temple next to it, but it is not open. There is a handwritten sign hanging on the door: "Guanyin Temple, senior activity center, telephone..." Although the word "long" is wrong, everyone probably understands that the original Guanyin Temple has now become a place for elderly activities. Moreover, it is obviously not open at ordinary times. The scalper is still there, and there is an extra calf beside him, looking very naughty. The mother cow was slow, probably too full, and she didn't look down for tender grass, but just looked at her cub with kind eyes. When we passed them, we also stood there very gently.
Walking along the road, after passing a field of rapeseed flowers, I found that there was no way ahead. The little friends happily opened the way in front of them, spreading flowers and branches, and found a way even if there was no way. But these roads came to an end after all, and the plants on the side grew wildly, with sharp thorns. After scratching my skin for the second time, we finally decided to give up.
It's really a long way to go back the same way, so we really want to wade across the river. But I reached out to test the water temperature, and the weather in early spring was still very cold. Try throwing a few stones, looking at a very shallow height, the stone still does not pop up when you drop it, this method is obviously not feasible. If you walk by barefoot, you are afraid that you will fall ill in Guizhou because of it, but the gain outweighs the loss.
