Yuanyang Hani Terraces are located in the south of Ailao Mountain in Yuanyang County, Yunnan Province, 38 kilometers southwest of Yuanyang County and about 300 kilometers away from Kunming. The Hani terraced fields have a history of more than 1300 years, and are masterpieces of the Hani people of all ages. The terraced fields existed in my country during the Qin and Han Dynasties.

The Yuanyang terraced fields have different scenery in different seasons. The peak season is from mid-November to April of the following year. At this time, the fields will be filled with water. Through sunrise and sunset, the light will shine on the terraced fields, reflecting different colors, which is particularly spectacular. In other seasons, you can only see rice of different colors. The area of ​​the scenic spot is very large, but there are too many turns on the mountain road, and the traffic jam is serious in peak season.
