I first heard about Seda in 2016, and since then I have been thinking about coming to worship the holy land. This Wumingshan Buddhist Academy, the largest in Asia, is built on the mountain, with layers upon layers, and it is magnificent. The red of Seda has given me endless lure.

I accidentally discovered Daocheng Yading when I was doing the strategy. This place, known as "the last piece of pure land on the blue planet", is the best time to come in October.

Although there are only a few short days during the November holiday, I plan to go together during this trip.

Itinerary: Shanghai-Chengdu-Wenchuan-Li County-Maerkang-Guanyin Bridge-Wengda-Seda-Luhuo-Litang-Daocheng-Yading-Xinduqiao-Danba-Balang Mountain-Chengdu-Shanghai

Transportation: Chartered car with 4 teammates for the whole journey

Fees: See end of article for details

Excluding the two-day round trip from Shanghai to Chengdu, we spent a total of six days walking Seda and Aden, with a total distance of 2,232 kilometers. This itinerary is really too rushed, and almost all the time is spent on the road. If I have a chance, I want to slow down and do it again.

DAY1 Shanghai - Chengdu

Launched an activity on the APP, and found the driver Tian Shifu to help me form a group. Originally, there were 8 people and two cars. Later, because 3 girls didn’t come, it became 5 people, and it was replaced by a three-row off-road vehicle. Master Zhang came to help us drive.

Because I had a cold, I kept drinking lemonade in the bullet train. After arriving at Chengdu East Railway Station, I took another 19 subway stops and arrived at the hotel at around 11 o'clock in the evening.

I had a very bad cough that night. During that time, my colleagues kept calling me to ask about my work, and my cold became more and more serious. At this moment, I just want to go to bed early and get well tomorrow. After all, it is very dangerous to go to the plateau with a cold.

DAY2 Chengdu-Maerkang-Guanyin Bridge

Master Zhang drove a red off-road vehicle and parked in front of the hotel, and loaded my suitcase on the roof. Napi and Dayang, a couple from Beijing, sat in the second row of the car, and then the car stopped on the side of the road, and Yi Xiaorong and Caihong, who came from Guangzhou, sat in the third row.

When everyone arrived, we set off, and of course, I became a veritable light bulb again. Master Zhang forgot to bring his driving license when he went out, so he went back to get it. Both Dayang and I caught a cold, and we coughed one after another along the way.

At noon, we ordered the famous local silver carp at a restaurant on the Malkang road. The taste was quite good, but it was a bit too exciting.

Today's itinerary is basically by car, and we took a rest in a village in the afternoon. I went shopping with Dayang and Napi. There is basically nothing here, just some antique goji berries and the like.

When we got back to the exit, a man sold us oranges for a total of 10 yuan. He wanted to go home early, so we bought them in one go and put them in the car.

It was dark when we arrived at Guanyin Bridge, and it was still raining outside. After checking in, we ate Sichuan cuisine at the restaurant opposite the hotel.

Everyone was tired after a day of driving. Master Zhang and I slept in a room. He snored really loudly in the middle of the night. Fortunately, I brought earplugs.

DAY3 Guanyin Bridge - Seda - Luhuo

I ran into Xiao Rong at breakfast, he said he knew how to read faces, and he said with certainty that I had an older brother before him, and it was amazing to say it.

Today's itinerary is to go to Seda. We were afraid of traffic jams on the road and it was too early to go out. As a result, there was a car accident and a traffic jam before driving for a while. We got out of the car and played on the side of the road for a while. Sure enough, we came out on National Day to watch the motorcade.

Passing Wengda, it was the first time I saw houses piled up together, and I looked forward to the scenery of Seda even more.

At noon, I ate at a restaurant below Wuming Buddhist College. I felt very uncomfortable the whole time. In fact, it was caused by the lack of oxygen due to the exhaustion of the boat. It seemed that the rhodiola that I had eaten before had no effect. Master Zhang bought me an oxygen bottle and medicine.

When I ran to the toilet on the opposite side, I found that the toilet was very crude, and the two of us were stuck together. Because I had difficulty breathing, I almost passed out after taking a sharp breath.

After dinner we went to see the sky burial first, dragged our sick body to climb the hill together with them, because I was not feeling well and fell behind, not only kept throwing up, but also slipped down the hill and broke the sunglasses frame. I had no choice but to go back to the car and rest.

The sky burial and Sertar are very close, we need to take a bus to go to Sertar.

At that time, I couldn't walk at all, and I felt cold outside, so I had no choice but to rest in the car.

I have worked so hard to get here but failed to go up. Although Seda is now under construction, it is a pity that I did not see the panoramic view.

After a while, hail started to fall, and it was so cold outside that I could only stay in the car, wondering if they would get caught in the rain.

For some unknown reason, our car could not start. Fortunately, Master Zhang knew other team masters, and a group of people came to repair the car.

By the time the four of them came down one after another, there had been three hailstorms, everyone was drenched like dogs, the big Yang was shivering, and Napi was wearing a sweater. Caihong and Xiaorong looked fine, but their lips were a little pale, and the two of them were relatively well adapted to the bad environment.

A few of us ordered dumplings, noodles and beef soup at the restaurant opposite for lunch, trying to warm our bodies. Master Zhang has been busy repairing the car and didn't have time to eat, so he didn't need to eat a little bit if he wanted him. Since the weather was too bad, we had to drive again, so we set off again soon.

We are going to Luhuo tonight, so the schedule is very rushed. Judging from this state, it is basically the rhythm of group destruction. On the way, we chatted about what we saw in the afternoon. Rainbow’s understanding of sky burial was not very correct.

This road is the worst section of the itinerary, and it rained heavily along the way. I saw a car tire stuck in the pothole, and I couldn't pull it up. In fact, it was quite dangerous to drive this road in the middle of the night. of.

Master Zhang didn't know how to turn on the air conditioner, and it took him a long time to turn it on. The car was very cold, so I gave Napi another cotton padded jacket that I had with me.

After 10 o'clock in the evening, we waited for more than half an hour on a one-way road, and when we got off the bus to rest, we found that our bodies had recovered a little. Napi said he was a little hungry, so I took out the ham sausage in the bag and gave it to him. I found out later that he and Dayang were jealous of each other along the way. Start to warm up.

Along the way, Master Zhang called the front desk of the hotel and couldn’t explain clearly. I was a little anxious and helped him answer the phone to communicate. Later, thinking about my attitude at the time, he didn’t even have a meal on the way.

It was almost 11 o'clock in the hotel. I went to Dayang's room and brought a down jacket to Napi. He didn't bring any thick clothes this time. The two lived a very delicate life, and each brought a quilt out and chatted for a while. Immediately I went back to my room to rest.

I am the dividing line between Seda Chapter and Aden Chapter

DAY4 Luhuo - Litang - Daocheng - Yading

It was another day of driving, Master Zhang woke us up after 5 o'clock, almost none of us woke up, and we set off when it was still dark.

We rested here for a while on the way, and I saw snow-covered peaks along the way. Sure enough, when the light bulb is sitting on the co-pilot, the view is particularly good.

Passing by a breakfast shop, we sat down to eat noodles and porridge. I also poured a cup of warm water for Dayang's thermos cup, and my temporary plastic cup for Xicha was completely useless. There was another team with us during the meal, and we chatted a bit.

After eating, I saw a person knocking off the mirror of the car at the door and ran away immediately. The quality is also extremely poor.

We set off again and arrived at Litang, where the mountains overlapped and looked very broad.

Maybe as soon as I went up and down on the roof, the exercise was a bit intense, and my high reaction became obvious again, so I started to inhale oxygen when I got back in the car.

I was still not feeling well during lunch, so Xiao Rong came over and pressed it for me with essential oils. At this time, Master Tian came to say hello to me. I didn’t expect him to pick up other tourists. He told me not to take oxygen as much as possible to avoid dependence in the next few days.

Under the blue sky and white clouds, we continued to drive on the vast road to Daocheng. Seeing the beautiful scenery, we couldn't restrain our inner excitement and ran out of the car.

The weather was very good today. I passed by Daocheng White Tower. After Master Zhang stopped the car, I started to feel dizzy again. After struggling for a while, I couldn’t get out, so I rested in the car.

On the way to Shangri-La Town, I felt more and more uncomfortable. Fortunately, I arrived in the evening. There was nothing I could do. Master Zhang sent me to the hospital for oxygen.

I saw in the hospital that most of the high-defense people were strong men. The doctor said here because there are many people who have high-defense resistance and did not go to Aden. In fact, I really don’t want to force myself if I can’t bear it. But if I can’t go to Aden tomorrow, it’s a waste of time. This trip is over.

I asked Master Zhang to go back to have dinner first, and then notify him after I finished the drip. At that time, I was really grateful to have him with me. When I was in the hospital, Dayang asked me if I needed to buy tickets for tomorrow’s Aden, and I resolutely said yes.

I feel that I have almost recovered in the hospital, and I bought an oxygen bag the size of a pillow before I left. I went back to the hotel that night without eating, so I went to bed early.

DAY5 Yading Village - Pearl Sea - Lurong Ranch

In the morning, I drank some porridge next to the hotel and set off for Yading. Master Zhang woke us up early for fear of traffic jams. After Master Zhang sent me to Aden today, he can go back to the hotel to have a good rest. He was really exhausted these days.

When I arrived at the toll gate of the Aden Scenic Area, I even teased three volunteer girls. I was very careful all day today, and I carried an oxygen bag with me.

It took nearly an hour to take the scenic bus, passed through Yading Village, and saw the snow peak on the top of the mountain. The people in the car were very excited. I first went to the short-term Pearl Sea with Dayang Napi, which is indeed very beautiful.

I felt a little high, so I didn't go any further. I found a place where no one was sitting, and a child on the road said, "Mom, why is he carrying a pillow on his back?"

Not long after, Rainbow and Xiaorong also came over. I sat on the grass and helped Rainbow look at the clothes, took out the earphones and started listening to music, quietly feeling the beautiful scenery here.

Back to the dining and resting area, we took out the "lime rice" we bought in the morning and started to eat it on the side of the road. I was a little uncomfortable and couldn't eat it, and the high anti-hypoxia made me want to give up for a while.

Finally, I bought a round-trip sightseeing ticket and decided to continue walking. I sat backwards in the last row. The scenery along the way was so beautiful. We decided to hike when we came back.

Afterwards, we arrived at Luorong Cattle Farm and came to the core scenic spot of Aden. The three sacred mountains of Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong and Shanuoduoji were particularly spectacular under the sunlight. It is a heavenly existence on earth. When I am in this beautiful scenery, I feel that my whole body has been purified.

Dayang Napi and I took a short rest here, and only then did I find that the oxygen bag had already leaked. For me, breathing oxygen may be a kind of psychological comfort. Of course, I also carried an oxygen cylinder with me, but they advised me not to use it yet.

When I continued to walk forward, I felt a little more comfortable. The tourists who walked back told us that the front was too congested and we couldn't go. After all, it was the National Day holiday and there were still many people.

The 5 of us met again under this beautiful scenery, and decided not to continue rushing to the Milky Sea, and enjoy the beautiful scenery here.

On the way back, Napi was keen on taking pictures and ran very fast. I was also very happy. With my physical condition this time, I could hardly take any pictures.

Napi has been repeating Xu Wei's "Orchid in the Empty Valley" all the time. He thinks this song is very suitable for the occasion. When I listen to this song again later, I always think of the scenery of Aden.

Dayang and I started to walk together, chatting about media work, marriage, travel and other topics along the way, and she even tricked me into talking when I was not feeling well.

When queuing down the mountain, Napi was a little too high and uncomfortable, maybe it was too much running for taking pictures. Xiaorong and Rainbow left earlier than us. The mountain road is very rugged, and the green scenery outside the window is particularly majestic.

I kept looping "Those Flowers" in the car, thinking of those friends in college. I am very fortunate to see the most beautiful scenery of Aden on such a sunny day, because it has been raining here for almost a week, and we caught up with the good time.

Master Zhang took us back to the hotel. Both Dayang and Napi were not feeling well and hadn’t eaten dinner. The rest of us went to the restaurant opposite the hotel to eat skewers. To say that I haven’t eaten much since last night, I have a very good appetite for this meal, and I drank wine, and my whole spirit has returned. It’s scary to think about it. People with severe colds and high reactions are still drinking here eat spicy food.

Tonight I slept in the same room with Master Zhang Xiaorong. Master Zhang had a bad back and asked me to apply pain-relieving ointment for him, and Xiaorong also took his pulse.

I have been here for so many days, and tonight is the first time I wash my hair and take a bath, and I feel very comfortable after washing, but this night, Master Zhang's snoring made Xiaorong sleepless all night.

DAY6 Aden-Xindu Bridge-Danba

Today we basically started the return journey, of course the route is definitely not going back. We ate steamed buns in a village for breakfast. The steamed stuffed buns were very delicious, but Dayang and Napi still didn’t slow down. Several people helped Dayang massage with essential oils.

In the morning we came to Mount Kazila and took a rest here for a while to take pictures.

The Eighteenth Bend of Tianlu Road here is also very distinctive.

At noon, we ate at a Sichuan restaurant, sitting near the river. This restaurant is the best one I have eaten in the past few days. The chicken with pepper fat sausage is very good.

In the afternoon we passed Tagong Temple, and Dayang and I took off our shoes and went in to worship Buddha sincerely.

We chatted about the issue of faith, and she felt that the young people of our generation lacked faith and had no sense of awe. I also find that young people these days are too fearless. In the fast-paced life, we haven't calmed down and talked to ourselves for a long time.

The other end of the temple is the Tagong Grassland. I bought a ticket to play alone, and I didn't climb the hill because I was afraid that my body would not be able to bear it.

Tonight we are staying in Danba, which is rated as the most beautiful town in China. We passed many small villages along the way. Some of the lights were not on, which looked very mysterious.

When approaching Jiaju Tibetan Village, Master Zhang was looking for a place to refuel, and many people gathered nearby to cook barbecue.

They also warmly invited us to have barbecue, and let us take whatever we want. I took wing tips, dried tofu and leeks, which smelled very fragrant and tasted delicious.

Before entering the village, we changed cars. Master Zhang took us to a family in the Tibetan village. The house here is very special, like the recording site of "Where Are We Going, Dad". After experiencing Master Zhang's snoring, Xiaorong, Caihong and I slept in a three-person room tonight.

Tonight is the last dinner of our trip, and their Tujia marinated bacon and sausages are very tasty. We drank a little wine together, which was very ceremonial.

A few of us from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou gathered here and became friends who walked together during this journey. In just a few days, we looked after each other more like comrades-in-arms.

We also met a group of people who were just about to go to Aden and sat in the pavilion behind us to eat.

After the meal, we sat together drinking tea and chatting. After experiencing this bumpy road, tonight was the most comfortable for the few of us. Everyone was in a good state of mind. We chatted about many profound topics.

Probably regarding the sense of balance in interpersonal communication, Dayang and Xiao Rong are particularly good at chatting about this. Xiao Rong also pointed out Dayang's personality flaws. The topic of chat is not very easy, and everyone has their own feelings. Rainbow didn't say much. She has a very cheerful personality and doesn't talk about too serious topics. She even started a video chat with a soldier brother that night.

Although I can't quite remember what I said at that time, but that feeling is very warm, what kind of fate brings us here!

After returning to the room and taking a shower, we came out again, feeling that the chat just now was not enough, so a group of people climbed to the roof of the Tibetan village again.

We were level with the top of the opposite mountain, and the moon was just above our heads, as if it just hit us. The whole Tibetan village was very quiet, only the sound of rushing water was heard below, and the wind was a bit strong, so we leaned on the four corners of the roof. At this moment, my heart was very peaceful, and I still remember the feeling at that time.

Originally, this was the transfer station for our return trip, but it became the most memorable stop of my trip.

DAY7 Danba - Balang Mountain - Chengdu

When I got up in the morning, I ran to the roof again, and several of them also got up one after another.

While having breakfast, we met a middle-aged man who came to hike. He has been to many no-man’s lands, and he is quite familiar with the boss here. He seems to come here often, and he seems to have the spirit of an explorer.

The Tibetan village during the day is also very beautiful. I would like to live here for a few days if I have the chance.

Today we are leaving for Chengdu, and the car won’t start again in the morning. The boss helped to find out the reason, and then started it after giving guidance, so that Master Zhang must not turn off the engine today.

As soon as we came out of Danba, we saw the Dadu River, and the rapid flow was quite spectacular.

At noon, we ate local mushrooms in a store, which tasted very fresh. I also went to their kitchen to see how they make it.

Then we went to Mount Balang, where I bought some local specialty mushrooms, which were really good for lunch, and I bought some to stew at home.

In the afternoon, we started to take the most famous National Highway 318 here. Many people came in from here, and it became the last stop in our arrangement. At this moment, our tired body and mind were released, and we felt that we had exhausted all our energy .

The scenery along the way was really beautiful. At this time, I found that I still had an oxygen bottle in the car, which was useless. If I have a chance, I will come in from this road and enjoy the beautiful scenery here slowly.

The car soon arrived at Chadianzi Station in Chengdu, where the journey came to a successful conclusion. After we got off the bus, we hugged and bid farewell, suddenly feeling a little more reluctant.

I took a taxi with my suitcase to a hotel near Chengdu East Railway Station, took a good shower, and went out to the city center to meet Xiaorong Rainbow. I wanted to eat Xiaolongkan, but there were more than 400 tables in front of me.

So we ate kebabs in a nearby shop, and the taste was actually pretty much the same.

After dinner, we strolled to Kuanzai Alley, which is actually no different from the general ancient streets. Many shops are closed at night, and we almost forgot to take back the power bank we borrowed from Rainbow before we left.

DAY8 Chengdu-Shanghai

The hotel last night was pretty good, and I slept very comfortably. I took a taxi to Chengdu East Railway Station early in the morning, and slept on the movable sleeper.

By the way, on the way back yesterday, Caihong showed me the bills and places she had recorded every time she traveled. I think this is very meaningful, and also recorded the expenses of this trip.

A total of 7,786 yuan was spent on this trip, and the above are all single-person expenses, mainly focusing on the fare and accommodation. The hotel in Yading in Eleven can be regarded as the starting price, but the meal cost is very little.

This trip is very memorable, and I want to record every bit of what happened along the way in this form.
