People often say: If you don’t go to Xinjiang, you don’t know the size of China; if you go to Xinjiang, you don’t know the beauty of China. Xinjiang, with its vastness accounting for one-sixth of the country's land area, covers almost all tourism categories in my country. It is a veritable tourist paradise and it is worth visiting again and again.

Since I went to Xinjiang 10 years ago, I have never forgotten Xinjiang, and this time I can finally realize my Xinjiang dream again.

Late April is not an ideal time to travel to Xinjiang. The prairie is not so green, the lavender has not yet bloomed, and the unique apricot blossoms in Xinjiang have also decayed. Along the way, almost everyone was lamenting that we didn't choose the right season. However, the magic of Xinjiang is that no matter when and where you come to Xinjiang, you can find its unique beauty. After this 10-day trip, all of us have the impression that this trip is worthwhile.

The beginning of the story was not smooth. The plane was delayed for more than two hours at 4:00 pm. This did not affect everyone's mood at all. When we stopped in Hohhot, everyone still happily took photos with the cow seat at the airport.

Because the plane was late, the originally planned pick-up time by self-drive was postponed for more than two hours. When we finished picking up the car and returned to the hotel, it was almost 2 in the morning, so we hurriedly washed up and went to bed.

Go out at 7:30 the next morning, the first stop is Dushanzi Grand Canyon. In fact, the Dushanzi Grand Canyon was not our first choice, but the Anjihai Grand Canyon that we had been thinking about was closed due to a landslide last year, so we had no choice but to choose here.

A few days before we came to Xinjiang, there was a heavy snowfall, and the wilderness on both sides of the road to the Dushanzi Grand Canyon was completely white, completely a northern scenery. When we bought the 30 yuan per person ticket and went down the plank road to the edge of the canyon, we found that the mountains on both sides of the canyon were mainly gray and black. The whole inside of the canyon looked gray and there was no shooting effect. The thousands of ravines washed out by the flowing water are not very obvious because of the scattered light.

There are income-generating projects such as glass bridges, startling every step, and ziplines built in the canyon. There are very few tourists visiting, but it feels a bit superfluous.

After coming out of the Grand Canyon, we continued to go to Sailimu Lake. The dark clouds and strong winds along the way made our hearts cold. Who knew that when we came to Sailimu Lake, the sun was shining and the sky was blue.

Surrounded by mountains, Sailimu Lake is more than 2,000 meters above sea level. It is the last place where the warm and humid Atlantic air flow favors. There is a saying that "the last tear of the Atlantic Ocean".

When we go to Sailimu Lake, we are free of tickets and self-driving admission fees. We only need to register at the visitor center. We enter from the east gate and go around the lake clockwise.

Most of the lake has not been frozen yet. Although the sun is shining brightly, the icy wind is still unbearable. After getting out of the car and taking pictures, I hurried back to the car to avoid the wind.

There are not many wild swans in Sailimu Lake this year. I don’t know if it’s the wrong season for us to come, but the lake with swans has not frozen due to the underground heat, which also provides us with convenience in finding swans.

In April, as the ice and snow on the lake melt, the wind will push large pieces of blue ice to the shore. At this time, it is also a good time to appreciate the blue ice of Saihu Lake.

The sun slowly began to move below the horizon, and the surrounding mountains began to feel a little bit golden under the sun.

In the evening, we stayed at Saihu Impression Apartment Hotel by the side of Saihu Lake. The conditions here are good, with floor heating, and the room is a one-room suite. Everyone drinks red Wusu beer, eats roast duck and salted duck brought by idlers, and enjoys the comfort of life.

In order to appreciate the majesty of the Guozigou Bridge, when I set off the next morning, I specially navigated the Guozigou and walked a section of dirt and stone roads. In fact, the Guozigou Bridge does not look particularly majestic, but I don’t know why it is so famous on the Internet.

After coming out of Guozigou, we continued to Daxigou. Originally, this trip to Daxigou was the only place where we could enjoy the apricot blossoms in Xinjiang. Because at the end of April, in a normal year, because Daxigou is on the top of the mountain, the wild fruit trees on the mountain are still in full bloom, but the weather is not beautiful. After a few days of heavy snowfall, the petals were blown away by the rain and wind, leaving only bare branches.

But since we are here, we still have to go up the mountain.

Take the traffic car to the top of the mountain, but the flowers are not seen, but the snow mountain is very spectacular.

When everyone got off the car on the way back, they saw cattle and sheep all over the mountains and plains, and couldn’t help but pat them all the way. A Tajik uncle who herded sheep enthusiastically lent his horse to everyone for free to take pictures.

I originally planned to go to Huocheng to see if there were any lavenders that opened in advance, but after navigating to the Lavender Garden of Princess Jieyou, my eyes widened and I didn't see any lavender, so I could only continue on my way.

There is at least a 2-hour time difference between Xinjiang time and Beijing time. At around 3 pm, when we passed a small town, we stopped for dinner.

When you come to Xinjiang, how can you not taste the baked buns and big plate chicken.

When the big plate chicken was brought to the table, everyone was shocked. The plate was as big as a washbasin, and everyone ate it with their stomachs open. In the end, they didn't finish eating, so they had to pack it away.

Kazanqi in Yining is known as China's "Chefchaouen". The houses on both sides of the street here are painted with mainly blue paint, which is quite exotic.

Before leaving Yining, we ordered an Internet celebrity ice cream at the Izhaier ice cream shop on the street.

Because the Yizhao Highway was under construction, the next journey was full of bumps and dust, and the time was extended a lot. By the time we arrived at the hotel where we were staying, it was almost midnight.

When I came to Zhaosu, I mainly came to the Siata Scenic Area and applied for a border pass in advance, but the actual situation is that no one checks the border pass.

The scenery along the way is picturesque, and everyone is amazed by the rare crow's nest in the mainland.

Today’s Xiata Scenic Area was reserved by four of us. The traffic car took us to the hot spring hotel 30 kilometers away. We still needed to find the key to open the door along the way, because the scenic area was too deserted. The staff put the key on the window sill and left. Yes, the driver needs to open the door by himself.

Xiata means "stairs" in Mongolian. The Xiata ancient road goes up the Muzhat River along the Muzhat River and crosses the Muzhat Daban. This is the Bingda that the famous "Gongyue Road" in the Tang Dynasty must pass through. Banshan Pass, according to local legend, the "Lingshan Mountain" that Xuanzang crossed westward in the Tang Dynasty was the most important channel connecting the north and the south of the Silk Road at that time - the ancient Shata Road. The ancient road is basically full of stone steps, most of which are left over from ancient times. of.

Before I came here, I just saw on the Internet that tourists are currently prohibited from crossing the Siata Ancient Road for safety reasons.

The first scenic spot where the traffic car stops is "Sacred Turtle Stone", which is named because the stone in the river resembles a turtle.

The second scenic spot is the old man in the forest. The stone shadow on the cliff really looks like the old man.

The third stop is called Daliusha, which is the sand that slides down the mountain.

After the car arrived at the hot spring hotel, we stopped moving forward, and we needed to hike to the Muzart Glacier, which is more than 10 kilometers away. In the past, there was a shuttle bus here, and you can drive about 5 kilometers further for 50 yuan, but because it is the off-season now, the bus is not open.

We hiked for a kilometer or so and saw many marmots and a very cute squirrel.

Because we had to leave time to visit the Kuokesu Grand Canyon, we didn't move on, but chose to return.

We went to the back door of the Kuokesu Grand Canyon, which saved a lot of transportation costs in the scenic spot. There were only two lonely cars parked in the parking lot at the back door.

There are few tourists, and the scenic spot has arranged special vehicles to take us to the scenic spots.

The first stop is Crocodile Bay, named because the river bend looks like a crocodile drinking water.

The second stop, the Grand Canyon, is not far from Crocodile Bay. In fact, it is just a different angle to see Crocodile Bay.

The human grassland at the third stop is a place I am looking forward to, because I have seen too many pictures of the human grassland taken by others, and the poisoning is too deep.

But today's human grassland is very weak. Firstly, the grass is not green yet, and secondly, there is no sunlight. We learned from the conversation that several photographers have been waiting here since the morning, but they have not waited for the right light.

In fact, the best time to take photos of the human body grassland is in the evening. At one moment, the light was about to penetrate the clouds. In order to cooperate with the photographer, a herdsman had already rode his horse to the ridge, and waited for the sun to come. Then he started shooting.

It's a pity that the sun didn't shine in the end, which cut off the photographer's thoughts and the herdsmen's money.

Overnight at the famous Turks Bagua City. Legend has it that Qiu Chuji, a real person from Changchun, passed by here during Genghis Khan's expedition to the West, and was attracted by the unique topography here, so he designed and built Tekes City according to the shape of the Eight Diagrams. Because of the gossip shape extending in all directions, this was the only city in the country without traffic lights a few years ago, but what we actually experienced is that traffic lights have been installed at many intersections in Turks.

In order to photograph the appearance of Bagua City, it took a lot of effort. The most ideal is to take a hot air balloon, which is expensive. The key is that it is not open in the current season. The second is to take the Ferris wheel, but it is said on the Internet that you can only see the second ring road, which is also considered We gave up, and another is to climb the nearby mountains. It is said on the Internet that Aktas and Atchabis Village can see the whole picture, so we went to Artchabis Village, and we can see even a little bit of gossip. If he didn't come out, he didn't go to Aktas Village, so the situation is probably the same.

This is the Bagua City effect seen in Atchabis Village.

After putting down my luggage, I went out to find something to eat. Many places were closed. Finally, I found a shop that made lentil noodle flags. Everyone ate a bowl of noodle flags, and the taste was not bad. The so-called noodle flags are actually noodles cut into diamond shapes, which look a bit like flags.

We set off early the next morning and went to Xinghuagou in Turgen. Although we knew that there were no Xinghua, since we came, we still needed to check in.

We climbed to the mountainside along the hillside. This is not the best place to shoot Xinghuagou, but because there are no apricot blossoms and the light is not very ideal, we did not continue to climb up.

The next Nalati, at present, only the aerial grassland scenic spot is open, the river valley grassland and the Panlong Grand Canyon are not open, self-driving costs 100 yuan per person, and the transportation vehicle only costs 40 yuan per person, without hesitation, we chose to take traffic car.

The whole line of the transportation vehicle in the aerial grassland scenic spot is the tourist service center-Yunjingtai-Tianjietai-Nomad House, with a total length of 22 kilometers. There is almost nothing special to appreciate at the three stops. On the 11-kilometer road from the Tourist Service Center to Yunjingtai, the scenery is pretty good.

Therefore, when we returned from the nomad’s house, we discussed with the driver and let us down at Yunjingtai. We took pictures while walking. The 10-kilometer mountain road was almost all downhill, and it didn’t take much effort to walk.

There is still snow several meters deep in the depression of the valley that has not melted.

The scenery from the top of the mountain to the foot of the mountain gradually turns green, and many scenes are very far away. At this time, the telephoto lens played a role.

Especially the green hillside near the foot of the mountain, the moment the sun shines, it is as beautiful as a screen saver.

When I came to the village at the foot of the mountain, I saw the opposite hillside, and the sunlight outlined the shape of the hillside, which was also very beautiful.

Two rows of dense birch trees are staggered into tree holes.

This 10km hike is really worth the money.

At the foot of the mountain, there are stone statues and shepherds in the grassland.

I stayed in Nalati Town at night, and had dinner at the Shuxiangyuan Restaurant opposite the accommodation. I still drank red Wusu and ordered hand-caught mutton. Red Wusu is nicknamed "kill you", because you turn the beer bottle upside down, it is "nsnm", the beer has a higher alcohol content than ordinary beer, and it is easy to drink.

Leaving Nalati the next morning, the navigation showed that the road was impassable. It turned out that Aiken Daban in Tianshan Mountain had been closed for several days due to the heavy snow in the past few days, and the road was blocked for more than ten kilometers. I went out at 6:30 in the morning and arrived at the road closure point around 7:30. I waited until 10:00 in the morning before letting go. After driving for a few kilometers, I was stopped at the foot of the mountain again. When crossing Aiken Daban, I saw that there was still snow on the mountain road.

The journey was not smooth, and we didn't arrive at Hejing County until after 12 o'clock in the evening.

The next day, take a traffic car to Korla, and take a sleeper train to Kashgar at night.

It was around 8:30 in the morning of the 29th when we arrived in Kashgar. We went to the Tuman River Hotel we booked. The hotel staff was very enthusiastic. They not only upgraded our room for free, but also allowed us to check in early and provided us with breakfast. I heard that We were going out to play, and we also drew a traffic transfer map for us.

After getting out of the hotel, use the mobile phone payment code to take the bus to Xiangfei Garden.

There are two kinds of tickets for Xiangfeiyuan: 30 yuan and 110 yuan. The latter can watch the performance. In fact, the 30 yuan ticket already includes several free folk performances.

Beautiful tiger embroidery pattern in craft store.

After the performance of Xiangfei's welcome, tourists and actors took a group photo.

Uyghur wedding custom performance.

Visit folklore exhibitions.

The sculpture of Xiangfei, to be honest, the sculpture does not see the beauty of Xiangfei, but it looks a bit ugly.

The Fragrant Concubine Garden is actually the family tomb of the Fragrant Concubine. A total of 72 people from five generations are buried here. The most famous of them is Apak Hoja, the second generation missionary of Xinjiang Islam. Therefore, it was originally called the Apak Hoja Tomb. , After the TV series "Han Zhu Ge Ge" became popular, the story of Xiangfei and Qianlong in it was deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. The scenic spot followed the trend and was renamed Xiangfei Tomb, making it a place for romantic love.

According to historical records, the concubine Xiangfei of Emperor Qianlong was not buried here, and the tomb of the concubine Xiangfei here is just a tomb of clothes.

The next old city of Kashgar is a place full of life.

Some people say that to see whether a city has a breath of life, you only need to see whether there are children playing in its streets and alleys.

Walking into the old city of Kashgar, you can see children playing in almost every street and alley.

Residents are basking in the sun, chatting, taking naps, and doing small businesses leisurely.

It's full of exoticism.

Tired of shopping, I found a place called "Kashgar Hometown Taste Tea Restaurant" for lunch. The lamb kebabs and hand pilaf here are must-order items. The taste can be described in five words as "it tastes great".

When we came to the Id Kah Mosque, it happened that worship activities were going on inside, and we declined to visit. We rested and waited on the chairs at the door, and took some portraits with a telephoto lens during the period.

I can finally go in and visit. This is the largest mosque in Xinjiang. Every Muslim festival, the mosque can accommodate about 100,000 people at the same time for worship activities.

The next morning, drive to Taxian County. Pamir Plateau, China-Pakistan Friendship Highway, Karakoram Mountains and other names that were only seen in books before have come to us in such a real way. From Kashi self-driving Ta County, the first scenic spot is Baisha Lake. The lake is on the edge of the national road, and the lake is blue. The key is that there is no ticket office.

There is a Baisha Mountain on the edge of Baisha Lake. The formation of Baisha Mountain is that the white sand transported by the river is exposed in the cold season when the water level drops, and is blown up the hillside by the non-stop strong wind day and night. Thousands of years have passed, and it has formed a mountain of accumulated sand. wonders.

The second scenic spot that the car passes by is Karakul Lake, which is 3,600 meters above sea level and more than 30 meters deep. Because of the deep and gloomy water of the lake, it is named "Kalakul Lake" (Kirgiz means black lake). Legend has it that people live in the lake. With a black dragon.

The color of the lake changes constantly with the change of light, and on the other side of the lake is the famous Tombistagh Peak.

Tourists can ride horses and camels here, and the surrounding mountains are also very beautiful.

For some unknown reason, Tombstag Glacier Park was not open, and the gate was being repaired. We went directly to the Taheman Wetland.

The tree holes in Taheman Wetland are very beautiful. If you wait for all the green teeth to grow out or the golden autumn season, it should be even more shocking.

Next, we navigated to Waqia Township and went to the famous Panlong Ancient Road. At present, the Panlong Ancient Road is being repaired, and the direction of Hongqi Lapu has been closed and cannot pass through. We can only go to Waqia Township from the road of Xiabandi Reservoir. After arriving at the checkpoint of Waqia Township, follow the road signs. When returning to Ta County, you must return the same way.

This is the Xiabandi Reservoir passing by on the road. Due to the low water level, there is no particularly stunning effect.

After passing through a checkpoint, we were asked whether we were going to the Panlong Ancient Road, and then we were allowed to pass. Following the signs, we came all the way to the foot of the Panlong Ancient Road Mountain.

The words on the placard at the starting point are so auspicious.

I started to drive up the mountain road with nine bends and eighteen bends. It was not as difficult as I imagined, and it was more fun to drive.

Climbing to the top of the mountain, I found that the road was closed due to maintenance, and I had to go back the same way. The color of the hills passing by on the road was also very beautiful.

Ta County is a small county that is jokingly said that throwing a piece of naan can roll all over the city. It is currently undergoing large-scale urban construction. The road near the hotel where we live is closed. After consulting the boss, we walked to the not far away " Yipin Yak" hot pot restaurant, we had hot pot for dinner, the hot pot tasted good, because we ordered a bit too much, everyone was overwhelmed.

Because we forgot that the Stone City Scenic Spot in Taxian County started to charge 70 yuan for tickets on May 1st, we leisurely returned to the hotel to rest after dinner, and when we found out the next day, it was too late.

Stone city, the castle is built on a high hill, and there are multi-layered or broken or continuous walls outside the city. The stone hills overlap between the partition walls, and there are piles of chaotic stones. In the Han Dynasty, it was the royal city of Puli Kingdom, one of the thirty-six countries in the Western Regions. After the Tang Dynasty unified the Western Regions, Congling Detention Center was set up here. According to legend, Master Xuanzang passed by here on his way back from the east, and the local king planned to intercept Master Xuanzang. After a night of earnest lobbying by Master Xuanzang, the king not only did not keep Xuanzang, but also presented a lot of money. When visiting the ruins, we also saw a wooden sign erected on the ruins, which said Xuanzang's teaching place.

Under the stone city is the Jincaotan Wetland, where cattle and sheep flock and the vegetation is lush. Not far away, Tombstone Tower stands majestically.

Before leaving the Stone City Scenic Area, we also visited the Tajik Folk Village.

The first thing I visited was a characteristic homestay here, the decoration is very characteristic.

In the village in the distance, the villagers are going about their daily activities.

There is a song and dance performance in the folk village, and there is still a period of time before leaving the venue, and the actors are rehearsing quickly.

After leaving the Stone City Scenic Area, we returned to Kashgar. We planned to visit the Kashgar Central and Western Asia Trade Market (Grand Bazaar), but because there was no place to park, we had to give up. We arrived at Kashgar Airport early and took the plane back at 22:20 in the evening to Nanjing.
