Ningxia Yinchuan is the military, political, economic, cultural and transportation center of the autonomous region. It is a national civilized city, a national garden city, a national environmental protection model city, and a national living environment model city. It was named "China's Top Ten New Tianfu".
In order to find the Xixia Pearl on the Silk Road and explore Yinchuan, Ningxia, which is on the south of the Yangtze River, a group of four of us set off from Jingzhou City, Hubei Province on September 14, 2019, and started a 35-day self-driving tour of the seven provinces of Henan, Hebei, Beijing, Mongolia, Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia. Ningxia Yinchuan, referred to as "Yin", is the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is located in the middle of the Ningxia Plain in Northwest China, leaning against Helan Mountain in the west and facing the Yellow River in the east. It is a developing regional central city.
Yinchuan has rich historical accumulation and diverse and distinct cultures. Various cultures such as Central Plains culture, frontier culture, Hetao culture, Silk Road culture, Xixia culture, and Islamic culture are stirring and blending here; The ever-growing multiculturalism and civilization.

Ningxia is also a place with many cultural relics and historic sites and rich tourism resources. Shahu Ecotourism Area
The Shahu eco-tourism area is 56 kilometers away from the northwest of Yinchuan City. It is known as a rare scenery in the world and has become a tourist attraction praised by many tourists.
Shahu Lake is also a paradise for birds. Because Shahu Lake has rich aquatic products and no pollution, it has received special care from humans. The "Bird Paradise" located in the center of the lake, also known as "Bird Watching Platform", is an ideal place for migratory birds to multiply and inhabit. , here you can see swans, great bustards, Chinese autumn teals, seagulls, white cranes, gray cranes, etc., which become the unique scenery of Shahu Lake.
Yinchuan Flower Expo Garden

The scenery in the park is unique, with all kinds of flowers competing for splendor, a hundred flowers in full bloom, and the scenery of lakes and mountains. .
Nanguan Great Mosque
Nanguan Grand Mosque was built a long time ago. The original site of the temple was located in the "Gongbei" Pavilion outside Nanguan in Yinchuan. The scale was small. In 1916, the temple site was moved into Nanguan. It has become one of the key places for religious activities and tourist attractions open to the outside world in the autonomous region.

South Gate of Yinchuan Old Town
South Gate Building, also known as "Nanxun Building", is located at the intersection of Nanhuan East Road and Zhongshan South Street in the southeast of Yinchuan City. The South Gate we see today was rebuilt in 1917. After several renovations since the 1950s, the walls on the east and west sides of the South Gate Tower were demolished. Jade Emperor Pavilion
Yuhuang Pavilion is located in the East Street of Yinchuan City. It was built in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. It has a history of more than 600 years. The height of the pavilion is about 22.1 meters. It is a traditional wood-structured large-roof building with multiple towers, overlapping eaves, compact structure, and exquisite chic. Because the Jade Emperor statue is cast inside, it is called Yuhuang Pavilion. Its shape is very beautiful and unique. It is a study of architectural art in the early Ming Dynasty and source material for craft techniques.
Yinchuan Drum Tower
Yinchuan Drum Tower is located at the intersection of Jiefang East Street and Gulou North-South Street, near Yuhuang Pavilion and Xinhua Pedestrian Street. It is also known as Cross Drum Tower and Four Drum Tower, commonly known as Drum Tower. It was built with handwritten stone inscriptions on the forehead of the cave. The top and ridge of the pavilion are decorated with dragon heads. You can have a panoramic view of the scenery of Yinchuan.
Chengtian Temple Pagoda
Chengtian Temple Pagoda is located in Chengtian Temple, Xingqing District, Yinchuan. The Empress Dowager built Chengtian Temple and Chengtian Temple Pagoda to protect her son "Shengshou Wujiang" and Xixia Jiangshan forever. Chengtian Temple Pagoda is the tallest brick pagoda among the more than 100 existing ancient pagodas in Ningxia and the only one in Ningxia. There are documents that record the ancient pagoda when it was first built. The original pagoda was destroyed in the earthquake, and what we see today is the ancient building rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty.
Lanshan Park
Lanshan Park is located 300 meters west of the intersection of Qinshui Street and Shenyang Road, Jinfeng District, Yinchuan City.
