"Laifeng Qinglan"

Miaojing Tiancheng is like a hanging painting, neither cloud nor fog nor smoke,

There are thousands of valleys indistinctly, and the mountainside is vaguely entwined,

Traveling through the sparse forests, autumn is not old, and the monk returns to the wild temple, the moon is full,

Knowing the place where the spirit bird flies, there is a legend of its own wonder.

There is a national forest park in the center of Tengchong city, did you know?

Lai Feng Qinglan

Laifengshan National Forest Park is known as the "green" pearl inlaid in the first city on the extreme edge, and was listed as one of the "twelve scenic spots" in Tengchong in ancient times. Laifeng Qinglan! Whenever the morning sun in winter and spring or the rain and fog in summer and autumn, it is common to see haze rising up, looping around the mountainside like a belt, or covering the top of the mountain like a cover, so it is known as "Qinglan Jade Belt" and "Laifeng Qinglan".

Origin of the name Laifengshan

How did Laifeng Mountain get its name? Some people say that the phoenix, which symbolizes auspiciousness, is a vivid description of the shape of Laifeng Mountain. There is also a legend that there is a phoenix here. Although it is romantic, it makes sense. Others say that Laifeng Mountain faces Feifeng Mountain in the north, so it got its name.

Celebrities and Laifengshan

Zhao Duanli, a Juren of the Qing Dynasty, described in "Twelve Scenes of Tengyue": "At the foot of Xufeng Mountain, three miles south of the city, there are ancient temples and fairy temples, lush forests and bamboos, and scenery in four seasons. The fantasy that comes from nature is nothing like spring and rain, a ray of sunshine; autumn is clear and clear, with mist in the middle of the mountain. Or it is like a belt, hiding the mountainside; or it is stacked, hanging high between the mountains. The denseness of the heaven and the earth, and the spiritual beauty of the mountains and rivers."

Xu Xiake inspected the direction of the ancient road on Laifeng Mountain: "Laifeng is descending from the south and descending...following the east peak of Laifeng to the north."

Jinze, a county resident, described: "It's neither smoke nor fog, if it's like a rosy cloud or a cloud... When it sees it, it must be a bright moon in the sky, and when it comes out, it must be a star that dies. It's like a hundred-foot-long horse in the Yangtze River, like a city full of thousands of households. of cooking smoke."

The unique White Jade Patriarch Hall in China

Laifengshan has the only White Jade Patriarch Hall in the country. It is said that the Baiyu Patriarch Hall was built in the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty (1821). Does anyone know how to dedicate oneself lightly, but to pity and embrace Pupu? This couplet is deeply emotional, has a certain philosophy, and the antithesis is neat, and it is widely circulated!

Fengling once filled with smoke

Laifeng Mountain used to be a battlefield filled with gunpowder and smoke. On the way up to the top of the mountain, there is Fengling Square, on which there are couplets commemorating the sacrifice of heroes in the Anti-Japanese War.

Tengchong Landmark Building

Speaking of Fengshan, what I have to mention is the Wenbi Pagoda on the top of the mountain. This is a landmark building in Tengchong. It can be seen from any direction in Tengchong City. The round white pagoda is like a jade pen pointing directly at the blue sky, symbolizing the culture of Tengyue. shining! From the top of the tower, you can not only have a bird's-eye view of the row upon row of houses in Tengchong, but also have a clear view of Heshun, the hometown of overseas Chinese.

Laifeng camellia base

Today's Laifeng Mountain is full of trees, luxuriant trees, and the environment is very quiet. It is a great resort in Tengchong. The tea garden at the foot of the mountain is the mother forest base for cultivating more than 110 fine varieties. If it is said that Yunnan Camellia is the best in the world, then the hometown of Yunnan Camellia is Tengchong!

The raging underground fire spewed out from here 900,000 years ago, shaping a shield-shaped volcanic cone, which looks like an elephant. The vicissitudes of time, the sea of fire where magma flowed everywhere, is now a charming tourist attraction
