On the 7th of January, the epidemic situation in Kunming was cleared. On the 8th, I immediately placed an order to buy a ticket. I called to inquire about Kunming's epidemic prevention policy. I set off on the 9th and arrived at the hotel in the afternoon to meet my daughter. It is said that Yunnan is a kind of disease, and once you have been there, you will never forget it. In the evening, I rented an SUV through an online platform. Due to the epidemic, it was very cheap to rent a car, more than 1,400 including insurance for six days. The weather in Spring City in January is good, neither hot nor cold, and the flowers are still blooming in four seasons. Picked up the car on the morning of the 10th, and navigated to the Haigeng Dam.

Because of the epidemic, we chose niche scenic spots for this trip to Yunnan to prevent the epidemic naturally.
We departed from Kunming at 10:00 am on the 11th and arrived at Mile City in Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture at 2:00 pm. We directly navigated to Dongfengyun. There are very few people and it feels like a private place. The buildings with ethnic characteristics and the sea of flowers with Yunnan characteristics, the camera is not enough to take pictures all the way!
There is a red winery two kilometers away from Dongfengyun. When we drove there at four o'clock in the afternoon, we were not allowed to enter, leaving regrets.
Mitreya recommended "Taiping Lake Forest Chalet Hotel", which is also the reason for the epidemic. We chose a lakeside hut. The wind was too strong at night, but the others were really good, and the breakfast was also very good.
When you arrive in Maitreya, you must go to the hot springs. There are still many people in the hot springs. They are divided into various small pools, including various flower pools, angelica pools, and wormwood pools.
Due to limited time, we only soaked in four pools and left with a fragrance of flowers.
After breakfast on the morning of the 12th, the hotel housekeeper drove us around the forest park in a battery car. The video was taken. It was beautiful, but I don’t know why it couldn’t be uploaded. At 11:00 noon, drive to Honghe Hani Yuanyang County. January to April is the best time to see terraced fields. It took 6 hours to arrive at the B&B we booked. All the way along the mountain road, the clouds get thicker as you go up. The characteristic of the Hani people is that they cultivate terraced fields and build houses on a little flat land on the mountain, and live close to the mountain. The settlement customs of the Hani people can be seen from their viewpoints.

It rained lightly on the second day of our arrival, and the wind was too strong to let DJI go. The distant mountains are shrouded in clouds and mist, it is impossible to watch the sunrise, so go to bed to catch up on sleep. After lunch, the rain stopped, and we also set off to Duoyishu, the best photography spots of Hani Terraced Fields, Tiger Mouth (trimmed and closed), Duoyishu, Bada, and Jingkou. There are also many roadsides, but it is not ideal for taking pictures. Because of the rain, the photo cannot be taken with colorful effects. But the surging clouds give people a fairyland-like feeling. There are people in the depths of the white clouds!
On the morning of the 14th, the weather cleared up, and we drove to Bada to take pictures when we went down the mountain. The terraced fields in Bada are bigger and more beautiful.

On the second day of arriving in Chengjiang City, it started to rain lightly, and the water of Fuxian Lake without sunlight was gray. Maybe people are a little tired after swimming for many days. The next day we drove to the free market to buy a lot of fresh vegetables, beef, red wine, strawberries, blueberries... The fruits here are too cheap, especially blueberries, which cost 60 yuan per kilogram. The fish in Fuxian Lake in Chengjiang is also delicious. On the morning of the 16th, there was a lot of light rain. We first drove our daughter to Kunming Changshui Airport, and then hurried to Kunming Station to return the car. The original plan to go to the flower market to buy a hundred roses fell through. The locals told me two yuan and ten roses. I plan to buy 100 sticks to give to friends who are concerned and worried about my parade. Another pity.
Every time I travel, I try to choose to stay in a B&B. I am free and comfortable. Now B&Bs have a public activity space. I sit and chat together after tea and dinner.
