When it comes to Guizhou, many people will think of Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of the world's famous waterfalls, or Fanjing Mountain, an Internet celebrity check-in place that was successfully applied for World Heritage a while ago. In fact, there are many niche people in this vast land of Guizhou. Interesting places are worth exploring. In this season of late autumn and early winter, we drove through Guizhou in an RV to experience the eight mountains, one water and one field.
Qinglong Twenty-Four Turns, the Lifeline of the Anti-Japanese War
Anyone who is familiar with history knows that during World War II, American aid to China had to go through the Yunnan-Burma Highway to reach Kunming, and then pass through Guizhou via the Yunnan-Guizhou Line. The traffic conditions in Yunnan and Guizhou at that time were not good. As it is now, it extends in all directions, and there is only one steep mountain road in Qinglong connected to it. Naturally, the Japanese army will not let it go and send planes to bomb it many times. In order to ensure the smooth flow of the road, the 1880 Engineer Battalion of the U.S. Highway Engineering Corps, with the cooperation of the local people, repaired the Yunnan-Guizhou line. With the smooth delivery of materials, this road has become the only land transportation line in the rear of my country's Anti-Japanese War and the main artery of international aid to China. It is known as "the lifeline of China's Anti-Japanese War". "The so-called Qinglong Twenty-Four Turns.
The current "Qinglong Twenty-Four Turns" has become a well-known scenic spot in Guizhou Province. It is about 1 km away from the southern suburbs of Qinglong County in Qianxinan Prefecture. Every map app can reach it, but at that time it was difficult to find it. It’s not that convenient. You can only get a glimpse of it from an old photo in the hands of a US military reporter, but the specific address is unknown. It is an unknown “hero road”. It was not until Ge Shuya, an expert on the history of the Anti-Japanese War in Yunnan and Burma, confirmed its location in 2002, that this road, which had been dusty for many years, surfaced.
We drove all the way to Qinglong, just for this road. Even if we see it now, we still feel shocked: the whole road spirals down in an "S" shape on a slope with an inclination of about 60 degrees. There are 24 big turns in the distance of 4 kilometers, which has the momentum of "one man is in charge of the gate, and ten thousand men are not allowed to open it". There is also the harassment and invasion of the Japanese army, which is very difficult.
Fortunately, the happy days have come. In 1954, the Guizhou Provincial Highway Bureau built a new 6-kilometer asphalt road, and slowed down the longitudinal slope near the 24th turn to connect the two, forming a national highway. 320 lines.
However, the 24th turn is not open to the public, and you can only take the shuttle bus in the scenic spot to go up and down. On the road, you can find that the road surface is still the original appearance of the year. There are stone monuments at every turn. The order of the tour is from 24th to 24th. As soon as you go down, there is a visitor center near the first turn where you can take a rest, and then take the shuttle bus to circle up from the first turn. Between going up and down, you just experience the whole journey of the 24th turn.
The scenic spot of Twenty-Four Turns is not just as simple as taking a shuttle bus up and down. You can reach the viewing platform at the top when you come up from the first turn. Although the vision of the drone will be better, it can already be seen here. I saw the panorama of the entire twenty-four turns. A few photos in the previous article were taken here. In addition, there is an anti-Japanese military exhibition hall here. There is no need to pay extra tickets. Friends who want to know more about this history may wish to go to Do a lot of shopping here.
At present, Qinglong Twenty-Four Turns was not only rated as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in 2006, but was also rated as the first batch of 80 national anti-Japanese war memorial facilities and sites by the State Council on August 24, 2015. Guizhou Province is the only place included in the list, so if you travel to Guizhou, you must come here to see it. The majestic twenty-four turnings and the heroic stories behind it will make you feel that the trip is worthwhile.
Maling River Grand Canyon, "China's No. 1 Drift"
When it comes to the uncanny workmanship of nature, karst landform must be one of them. This magical landform is formed due to the comprehensive action of flowing water on soluble rock erosion and gravity. Although it is widely distributed in our country, it will always feel very shocking when you see it. The karst landforms are concentrated in Guizhou, Yunnan and other provinces in China. Recently, I happened to be driving in Guizhou. How could I miss this spectacle?
In Qianxinan Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province, there is a large rift valley formed by orogeny. In the valley, there are not only waterfalls flowing, but also ancient trees on both sides. The karst scenery is amazing. This is about five kilometers northeast of Xingyi City. Maling River Grand Canyon.
Since it is only five kilometers away from the urban area, the transportation of Maling River is very convenient. We drove from Xingyi City to our destination quickly. If we don’t have a car, there are also tourist routes 3, 4, 8, and LY2. Multiple buses run between the urban area and the Maling River Canyon Scenic Area. When I first arrived at the scenic spot, I could see that there was a sightseeing elevator at the entrance, which could quickly reach the bottom of the valley. The round-trip ticket is cheaper than the one-way ticket, suitable for "lazy people". However, the whole canyon is not too deep, and you won't feel too tired even if you walk It's not bad to walk for a breath of fresh air.
After reaching the bottom of the valley, there is basically only one road. Although there are traces of plank roads on the opposite side and a suspension bridge connected to the opposite side, in fact, the opposite side is not open, and the words "stop tourists" are also written on the road leading to the suspension bridge. Do not enter by force. Beware of danger, we just took a photo on the side and went on the way.
Walking along the plank road on the edge of the cliff, wandering in the deep mountain canyon, I feel very quiet. There are not too many tourists in the Maling River Canyon, and it is very comfortable to walk. What is interesting is that the width between the two sides of the canyon is wide and wide. The road is narrow, and you need to lean over and drill under the rock wall from time to time. In addition, there are many strange-shaped stones. For example, you can see rocks shaped like a family of three sea lions in the Sea Lion Hall, which is very interesting.
However, as mentioned before, the Maling River is most famous for its karst landform. Because the calcium carbonate content of the river here is very heavy, calcium carbonate is continuously attached to the cliff during the fall. The calcium deposits became thicker and thicker, and the area became larger and larger. This is why such a large-scale and majestic calcified rock waterfall group was born on the two walls of the canyon, with a lot of moss attached to it. It looked extremely shocking.
Not only that, but the Maling River is also a large fissure in the ground. The rift just cut off the flowing water, forming hundreds of waterfalls, large and small, falling from the sky. The local people told me that this is still the dry season. If you go there in summer, it will look shocking. You can see thirteen waterfalls in one scenic spot, and if you are lucky, you can also see a rainbow.
Speaking of coming here in summer, there is another amusement item that I have to mention. This is the rafting of the Maling River. The whole course of the Maling River rafting exceeds 50 kilometers. It is one of the top ten rafting attractions in China. Rapids, more than 70 deep pools and more than 60 bays, both in length and scale, are amazing and thrilling, so they also have the reputation of "China's No. The public trials were held here, and the "Foundation Laying Ceremony for Athletes' Apartments of China's National Rapid Canoe Training Base" was also held. Since then, the Maling River Canyon has been used as the "National Rapid Canoe Training Base". If you come here in summer Be sure not to miss it.
There are far more interesting places in the Malinghe Scenic Area. There are "Guizhou dragon" fossils from the Mesozoic Triassic period 240 million years ago, as well as the "Maomao Cave" and "Zhangkou Cave" ancient human activity sites. There are also cultural landscapes such as Han Tombs, Liu's Manor, He Yingqin's Former Residence, and the battle footprints left here during the Long March of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. As for what else is interesting, let's wait for you to come and see for yourself!
Getu River, a natural and cultural heritage hidden in Ziyun
If you want to say that Guizhou's new hot spot is the Fanjing Mountain in the middle of Tongren, especially after it was approved to be included in the World Natural Heritage List at the World Heritage Conference held in Manama, Bahrain on July 2, 2018 , and it has become the number one popular scenic spot in China, with countless tourists coming from all directions. In fact, on the land of Guizhou, there are many travel destinations that also have beautiful scenery and brilliant culture. Getu River, located in Shuitang Town, Ziyun County, Anshun City, is one of them.
I drove all the way from the Maling River to the Getu River. Although this scenic spot is well-known in the local area, it is still relatively unfamiliar to tourists from other provinces. It is also my first time here. I thought it was a canyon river like the Maling River. The scenery is actually two completely different styles. It does not walk along the rocky walls of the canyon like the Maling River, but directly wanders on the water surface by boat, with blue waves all the way, and a good mood.
Looking up, you can see that there are many not-so-high hills stretching all the way around. I feel that these hills are equivalent to the iconic scenery of Guizhou, which can be seen in many places, but the overall karst landform formed by the combination of mountains and rivers makes people feel unusual. Randomly pressing two photos on your mobile phone is also a good photo. No wonder Dr. Richard Maiye from France once said: "The most beautiful karst landforms are concentrated in tropical countries, and most of China is concentrated in Guizhou, accounting for 70% of the world. , the Anshun area is the area with the most karst landforms and the most concentrated area, and the Ziyun Getu River karst landform is one of the most beautiful places in the world." Therefore, the Getu River was also selected as one of the "most beautiful places in China" in 2006. .
At the end of the cruise ship is Dahe Miao Village, a sacred place like a paradise. Many traditional skills of the Miao family can be inherited here. The Getu River is a natural and cultural heritage of our country. Compared with nature, I prefer the here Miao culture, Dahe Miao Village can appreciate these traditional skills. The ethnic minorities are good at singing and dancing, and the Miao nationality is no exception. From the very beginning, there are various dances such as the golden pheasant dance, but the real eye-opening thing is the Miao family's unique skill of "upping the mountain of swords and descending into the sea of fire".
The first performance is "Going into the Sea of Fire", but Dahe Miao Village is not the old routine of walking barefoot into the sea of fire like other performances. Putting the torch into the crotch and then taking it out from the trousers, or saying that the torch has a feeling of burning the buttocks after the torch is caught in the buttocks, etc., so that tourists can enjoy unique performances while laughing.
Funny is funny, kung fu is still real. The skills of swallowing torches or breathing fire like this are still very shocking. It can't be done without many years of practice. I also give praise to the inheritors of these skills.
After "Going into the Sea of Fire", there is the more exciting "Climbing the Knife Mountain". The young Miao people need to climb barefoot to the top of the knife mountain with the blade upward. It is a very important sacrificial activity in the family. Before "Going up the Knife Mountain", the young man still needs to do some rituals such as drinking wine and rubbing incense on the soles of his feet before he can play. After playing, the actor quickly climbed to the top, and his movements were very agile.
Regarding the origin of Shangdao Mountain, it is said that a monster appeared on Miao Mountain a long time ago. Then the Miao compatriots supported Shi Bagui and came to a high mountain. Bagui nailed the steel knife he carried as a crosspiece to a towering ancient tree, and then climbed to the top of the tree, standing on the top of the tree and shouting to the sky. Dancing hands lowered the whip and blew the big conch, and the crowd under the tree also lit firecrackers and knocked on all the noises, thus scaring away the monsters. To commemorate the warriors of the Miao family, "Shangdaoshan" was preserved. . The actors who reached the top also performed some stunts, and the people watching were still a little terrified.
The actor who got to the top showed the soles of his feet to the live audience, unscathed, and performed perfectly. In addition to a lot of practice, you need to master a lot of skills to go up the knife mountain, such as climbing quickly in places that should be fast, walking up and down on the soles of your feet, and not moving left and right, etc. In short, it is good for non-professionals to look at it. Do not imitate easily.
If it is more common to say that "going up the mountain of swords and down into the sea of fire", the Miao family's spider-man is not so common. You can see this magical performance in the 108-meter-high cave in the Dachuandong of the Getu River. It requires performers to climb in the cave without any protective measures, and sometimes inadvertently make a deliberate move. The action looks very thrilling and exciting.
In the Miao language, this is called "Ge Ruo". It is said that it is a special skill passed down from generation to generation by the Miao people in the past to place hanging coffins or dig out bird nests. Arriving is not an easy task, but the Spider-Man of the Miao family can go up and down within 7 minutes at the fastest. The Spider-Man we performed at that time was still a woman. When she reached the top and waved the red flag, there was no one in the audience. Do not applaud for it.
The culture of the Getu River is far more than that. You can also feel the fascinating Yalu King culture here. This is an epic that can be compared with the Tibetan King Gesar. It has endless charm. We are in the village. I bought a native chicken, and the cooking place is the home of the intangible heritage inheritor of King Yalu’s culture. The host is very hospitable, and the whole atmosphere is very comfortable. I can feel the enthusiasm of the Miao family. Currently, the Getu River is applying for the World Natural Heritage , do you think it will become the next world heritage in Guizhou after Mount Fanjing? let us wait and see.
Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, the largest Miao Village in the world
To say that the scenic spot I have visited the most in Guizhou is the Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang in the southeast of Guizhou. I have a good impression of it since the first time I met it. The Miao buildings are scattered all over the place. To say "Thousands of Households" is already modest According to the saying, the scale can be called the largest in the world, and it is not like some ancient towns that have long been "empty". The locals rent out the houses to foreign merchants and have no life at all. There are many local people, even schools, and tourists and residents interspersed among them. This is a living village.
This is the third time I have come to Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang, but this is the first time I have reached the gate on the mountain. I need to take a shuttle bus and then walk down for a while to reach the viewing platform. I used to go to the gate at the foot of the mountain. , that door will be more lively, the performances of the Eighteen Gate Bars and the Mountain Flowing Water are still vivid in my mind, especially the kind old man at the first Bar Bar, who left a deep impression on people. However, we drove to Miao Village by ourselves. There are fewer people at the top of the gate, which is convenient for parking. I used to think that this place was a bit desolate, but now it has gradually matured. There are many restaurants and delicacies, and many supporting facilities are being improved. In the future, the reception capacity of Xijiang should be better. bigger.
Since it is not the first time to arrive in Xijiang, everything here is very familiar, and the inside of the village has not changed much, whether it is the surrounding buildings or the slightly crowded tourists. I have always liked the night of Xijiang. I think Xijiang at night is more beautiful than during the day. However, I personally don’t like the dark night. Instead, I like the feeling that the sky is getting late and the lights are on. Compared with watching the panorama on the viewing platform , In fact, I prefer to capture some small scenes next to the farmland next to the No. 1 bridge. The shops next to me are green with tiles under the warm light, which looks very comfortable.
Next to the No. 1 bridge is the boarding point of the shuttle bus, which can directly reach the viewing platform on the top. It will not stop halfway and you need to swipe your ID card to take it. Because there are too many tourists in Xijiang, the scenic spot has a limit on the number of times the shuttle bus can be taken. One person can only take four times. There are slogans posted on the back of the car, so you have to look carefully when riding, but the viewing platform is actually not high, and it’s good to walk up slowly.
Speaking of the night of the Miao Village, the second highlight of the Miao Village is naturally the Miao culture. To see the Miao culture, it is natural to come to Gage Ancient Alley. This small alley is not only beautiful for taking pictures, but also brings together the traditional crafts of the entire Miao Village. : Miao intangible cultural heritage batik, old people singing ancient songs, making rice cakes, etc. can be felt here. Since the previous article mentioned it, I won’t go into details here. In short, you can experience it. Remember to buy a rice cake to eat , only 5 yuan each, especially the freshly made, soft and glutinous, very delicious.
If you arrive late, the Gage Ancient Alley may have been closed. If you want to understand the Miao culture at this time, you can go to the performance of the stockade. You can not only see the various dances of the Miao family, but also feel the various dances of the Miao people. Folk customs, traditional costumes, etc., are also interspersed with some humorous interactions with the audience, which is also a good way to understand Miao culture.
If you feel hungry after watching the performance, there is a snack street on the right when you go out, which sells various snacks. The price is already very cheap in the scenic area. Life is so comfortable and leisurely. If you like Miao villages that are more down-to-earth, there are many Miao villages that are not very commercialized near Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, but the food and accommodation conditions will be worse, and it is impossible to say who is better than the other. Wisdom, benevolence see benevolence" problem.
I met and said goodbye to Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang in a hurry. I didn’t even have time to meet my old friends in the village. But I don’t have any regrets. I believe that I will come here again in the near future. What little surprise do you want for me? let us wait and see.
Xifeng concentration camp, a purgatory on earth in the name of "loyalty, filial piety and benevolence"
When it comes to concentration camps, many people will think of Auschwitz in Germany. The bloody and cruelty is still unbearable. In fact, not only in Germany, but also in the history of our country, there are concentration camps. The most famous one is Zhazidong in Chongqing. , Bai Mansion, from 1945 to 1949, more than 2,000 prisoners were secretly executed in only one Bai Mansion. However, the concentration camp with the highest level at that time was not here, but the "National Government Military Committee Xifeng Xingyuan" located in Xifeng County, Guiyang City, which was called "Xinjian" or "University" internally. The mansion is still large, while Chongqing Bai Mansion, Zhazidong Prison and Wanglongmen Detention Center are called "middle school" and "primary school" respectively.
Xifeng Concentration Camp was established in November 1938. It is about 6 kilometers south of Xifeng County and more than 60 kilometers away from Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province. More than 1,220 Communists and progressives were imprisoned here, including many famous people, such as "Xi'an Incident" General Yang Hucheng's family, one of the founders of "Red Rock", Xu Xiaoxuan, the prototype of Xu Yunfeng in "Red Rock", Che Yaoxian, the founder of "Effort Meal" in Chengdu, "Little Carrot Head" Song Zhenzhong, Luo Shiwen, Song Qiyun, Huang Xiansheng, Zhang Luping, Ma Yinchu, etc. Wait, many people have to go to this 1.4-meter-high probation room to stand bent over after they get here, torturing their spirits.
The Xifeng Concentration Camp consists of the headquarters of Yanglangba and the prison of Xuantiandong in the nearby mountains. The headquarters of Yanglangba is about 2 square kilometers, with a total of 43 prisons in eight buildings. The shameful thing is that although it is clearly a concentration camp that tortures people physically and mentally, the cells are named after the eight characters "loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, faith and peace", and are called "Zhong Zhai", "Xiao Zhai", "Ren Zhai", etc. Prisoners are classified according to their importance. For example, this "He Zhai" was the place of detention of General Yang Hucheng and his family before they were transferred to Xuantian Cave.
Although in the name of "loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, faith and peace" and the title of "university", what is done in this concentration camp has nothing to do with these words. The dark prison cells, moldy meals, and even the daily release of wind have to be locked up. It was carried out in wooden cages, not to mention cruel punishments such as tiger benches, embroidery needles, and even "wearing hemp and mourning". Of the more than 1,220 people imprisoned there, less than half survived, and many of them were secretly executed in the cat cave. It is called "study abroad".
Now go to the Revolutionary History Memorial Hall of Xifeng Concentration Camp. In addition to seeing the former site of the concentration camp mentioned above, you can also visit the exhibition hall of the heroic deeds. There are rich historical materials to systematically introduce the concentration camp, including more than 80 precious historical relics. , Che Yaoxian's autobiographical handwriting, General Yang Hucheng and other martyrs' relics, etc. In the screening room, there is a special film "The Beacon Never Ends" which will let us better understand this period of history. The time is free for visitors to visit. If you feel that the amount of information is too large, you may wish to hire a tour guide.
Many young people may not be familiar with the Xifeng Concentration Camp today, but the years are long, the prosperous country and the happy life of the people are all bought by the martyrs with their lives and blood. Although the smoke of the war has dissipated, But this indomitable spirit is worthy of being passed on. Yesterday is preserved here, but it also tells us how to treat today and tomorrow, and then keep forging ahead and striving to realize the Chinese Dream hand in hand.
Zunyi Conference site, a turning point in history
When it comes to the turning point of life and death in the history of our country, many people will blurt out: "Zunyi Conference". It saved the party and the Red Army, which failed in the fifth anti-"encirclement and suppression" campaign and suffered serious setbacks in the early days of the Long March. It was also the first time that the Chinese Communist Party independently used the basic principles of Marxism-Leninism to solve its own line, principles and policies. The historical significance is extremely far-reaching , and the venue for this meeting is Zunyi City, Guizhou Province.
The venue of the conference is still located on Hongqi Road (Jiaoyin Road) in the old town of Honghuagang District, Zunyi City. There are multiple buses such as No. 1, No. 6, No. 17, and No. 23. In the "Conference Site" "Just get off at the station. It is now not only the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units, but also a 4A scenic spot, and has many titles such as "National Integrity Education Base" and "National Youth Education Base". However, this scenic spot is different from most 4A scenic spots. It does not charge tickets. It only needs to be exchanged with the second-generation ID card. The outside circle is full of tourists queuing up to enter the venue. But now is a special period, and you need to make an appointment online in advance. Go, we have already completed the appointment process on the self-driving road, and then go through the security check to enter.
Walking into the site of the Zunyi Conference, you can see a small two-story western-style building with a brick and wood structure. The blue bricks and carvings have the style of traditional Chinese architecture, and the column windows have European style. It looks more like a meeting place than a mansion of a wealthy family. In fact, the site of the Zunyi Conference is really not a special meeting place, but the private official residence of the commander of the Second Division of the 25th Army of the Guizhou Army. The General Headquarters of the Military Council and the First Bureau (responsible for operations) were stationed in this building.
At present, there are many cultural relics preserved in the conference site, such as the conference room of the Zunyi Conference, the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Military Commission (that is, the war room), and the bedrooms of the leaders, etc., all of which have maintained the original appearance of the year, and many of the furniture are from the past. the original. Since the Red Army did not make any preparations in advance when they settled in, many of the furniture inside this gorgeous-looking building were actually built temporarily. For example, the two beds used four benches covered with wooden boards and sheets. , it became a bed, and the conditions were still very difficult.
Just looking at the conference site does not give a comprehensive understanding of this period of history. Therefore, an exhibition hall of the Zunyi Conference site was built next to the conference site. There are a total of 1,551 cultural relics and materials preserved in it, of which 726 are originals, including the Red Army. There are many precious documents, manuscripts, and collected Red Army slogans such as ferries, guns, and knives used during the Long March, as well as many sculptures, which are vivid.
At that time, there were not many people who could read and write. Basically, as long as the Red Army soldiers who could write and recognize would do some propaganda work, there were some typos in these brands, which were very real, but under such difficult conditions, they could still do some propaganda work. It is not easy to be a "military and civilian fish and water family".
Although we are now in a peaceful age, hidden crises are always around us. The revolutionary spirit of the revolutionary martyrs who are brave in fighting, persevering and not afraid of sacrifice is worth inheriting and carrying forward, so as to meet future challenges and realize the Chinese dream.
Laosha Lane, the food street in "A Bite of China"
Every city in the country basically has its own snack streets, but these snack streets are often criticized, even some famous snack streets are often scoffed at by locals, thinking that they are places that trap tourists from other places, and the things they sell are usually It is expensive and unpalatable, but recently I passed by Zunyi when I was driving in Guizhou, and I found a snack street here. Not only is there a lot of people and tourists, but even the locals love to go there. This is Laosha Lane in Honghuagang Pedestrian Street.
Take the bus and get off at Honghuagang Station or take a taxi directly to the pedestrian street, and you can see this small alley after walking a little inside. There are many people gathered in this narrow and messy alley. Can only move forward at an extremely slow speed. Of course, the slow moving speed is not only due to the large number of people, but also because of the various delicacies on both sides of the street. Everyone looks very appetizing. When I don’t know what to eat, I can’t help but take a second look. The speed is naturally slow. Slow down.
In fact, the things sold in Laosha Alley are not all Guizhou specialties, but snacks from all over the country. Now there is very little food street that only sells local snacks. Only by bringing together delicacies from all directions can it be inclusive of all rivers and attract more people with different tastes. . Some people may think that the environment here may not be very good, but in fact, many delicacies are in this "fly restaurant". This down-to-earth atmosphere makes people very appetizing. No wonder "A Bite of China 3" I also made a special trip here to take pictures.
I said before that the snacks here are "inclusive of all rivers and rivers", and even seafood such as oysters and scallops are not easy to preserve. Some friends mentioned that the seafood here is not cheap, but Zunyi is an inland city after all, and transportation is relatively troublesome. Expensive is not too expensive. Seafood, the most important thing is to be fresh, and the quality of their oysters is quite plump. After eating a few, they taste good.
Of course, there are not only snacks here, there are also some restaurants with a better environment where you can eat table meals, which are not far away, and the taste is also good. In fact, there is no essential distinction between snacks and table meals. , Eat whatever you like, happiness is the most important thing.
In addition, you can also buy a lot of condiments here. For example, Guizhou's unique gourmet condiment "bad pepper" is one of them. It looks bright red in color and tastes spicy and fresh. It is indispensable in Guizhou cuisine. The first ring, the production process is also very exquisite. During the whole process of production, there should be no sticky oil. After the production, it must be put into the earthen altar, add water to the edge of the altar and store it tightly without air leakage. Many friends in the same industry have sold this to go home as souvenir.
Laosha Lane is not long, but there are countless gourmet restaurants, big and small. No matter what the meaning of its name is, to me, it is like washing sand in a sea of food, slowly looking for delicious food. But they all have big eyes and small belly, so they are full soon, and they only hate that they can't grow a few more flavors. After walking around, I feel that this place is really full of life. Many parents bring their children here to eat snacks. There are also many students who have not had time to change their school uniforms after school, so they come here. It feels like a "base". , the place that the locals like is not a place to trap outsiders. If you travel to Zunyi, you might as well come here to have a look, and then eat as much as you want!
Shuanghe Cave, the longest cave in Asia
People in ancient times always thought of "going to the sky and entering the earth", but now it has become a reality. In addition to the perspective of God brought by aerial photography, you can also see different magical landscapes when you enter the ground. This is one of the reasons why cave travel is popular. Every time I see the strange geocentric space formed by the soluble rocks in the mountain under the action of karst, I am shocked by it and sigh the ingenious workmanship of nature.
Our country is a country with many karst caves, not to mention some unknown "wild caves", there are not many well-known scenic spots that rank high, such as Huanglong Cave in Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, Qixingyan Rock in Guilin, and Reed Cave. Diyan and Shangshangshan Yunshui Cave near Zhoukoudian in the southwestern suburbs of Beijing, etc., each have their own magical features, but some people may wonder, among so many caves, who is the longest? It is actually Shuanghe Cave located in Suiyang County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province.
I remember the first time I heard the name of "Shuanghe Cave". It was not in any travel books or guides, but it came from a game I played in which there were daily knowledge quizzes, and one of the questions was a question "Which is the longest karst cave in our country?" The answer is Shuanghe Cave. At that time, Shuanghe Cave had a proven length of 159.14 kilometers, and it had become the longest in China. You have to come here during your self-driving trip to Guizhou. Friends who don’t like self-driving can also take the bus to Shuanghe, or transfer to Suiyang County. The traffic is not difficult.
However, the current exploration of Shuanghe Cave has already exceeded the original 159.14 kilometers. In April 2017, the proven length reached 200.427 kilometers, and it has already ranked among the top ten longest caves in the world; The proven length announced at the "press conference" has reached 238.48 kilometers. This data has already surpassed the Jenih Cave in Malaysia, becoming the first in Asia and the sixth longest hole in the world; and in 2019, this record was refreshed again. The latest The detection length is 257.4 kilometers, ranking fifth in the world.
Although 257.4 kilometers have been proven, tourists can't go that far. The scenic spot has specially created a walking trail with basically no forks, so that tourists can have a glimpse of the wonders in the cave. You have to walk slowly and take good pictures of the beautiful places, because once you miss it, you will never come back.
But only when you really enter the cave, can you discover the amazingness of Shuanghe Cave: the whole cave is divided into four floors, the main cave alone has eight, and there are more than 200 branch caves, 5 underground rivers and 34 cave entrances. It can be described as "hole by hole, hole in hole, hole in hole". There are all kinds of natural wonders such as stalactites, stalactites and stalagmites. The name of "Karst Natural Cave Museum" is well-deserved. It is worth mentioning that although there are many branch holes in the scenic area, except for the "Gate to the Center of the Earth", all other forks have been closed, so do not cross the forbidden area without authorization, and beware of the risk of getting lost or falling into a dark river , More than 200 kilometers is no joke.
In addition to the stalactites, there are also some special attractions in the scenic area. For example, this one is called "Farewell My Concubine". , "The World's Largest Lapis Lazuli Cave" and many other titles, if you are an address lover, you will definitely feel amazing. However, it is worth mentioning that although you can have close contact with stalactites in Shuanghe Cave, do not touch or damage the stalactites with your hands, and be a civilized traveler.
The whole cave is not only winding and rugged, but also narrow in many places, requiring bending over or turning sideways to pass. Many burly men may find it difficult to walk, but it also adds a lot of fun: there is no wild cave. Dangerous, there is also a kind of excitement of caving in it, which greatly increases people's interest. However, in such a narrow space, fossils of giant pandas have been discovered, which makes people wonder what Shuanghe Cave looked like before.
Shuanghe Cave is not like some caves where there are bats, but there are many magical little life in the depths of the cave, the most common of which are tadpoles, but they are not ordinary tadpoles, but white, which is very rare. It is said that a red cave scorpion was also found, which may be a new species of cave, but these are not seen in tourist areas with many tourists.
At present, the exploration of Shuanghe Cave has not stopped. Although there is still a lot of distance from the world's longest cave with a length of more than 668 kilometers, that is, the American Mammoth Cave, it is enough to make people wonder. In the future, Shuanghe Cave can give us more What surprise? let us wait and see.
The top hot spring in Guizhou, known as "the best hot spring in the world"
To say that my favorite thing to do in winter, hot springs must be one of them. This kind of underground natural spring water contains many trace elements beneficial to the human body. The temperature is generally significantly higher than the local average annual temperature, so it is especially suitable for winter. Taking a dip is not only good for your health, but also can relax your body and mind and relieve fatigue. Some specific hot springs have specific effects to varying degrees, and there are many benefits.
In the past, I always liked Yunnan for hot springs. Yunnan, which is located in the volcanic belt, is rich in hot spring resources. It has gathered about a quarter of the country's hot springs, and many of them are of high quality. But this time driving in Guizhou, I found that Guizhou also has many good-quality hot springs. One of them is the Vientiane Hot Spring in Guiyang. Wash away tiredness.
However, what really surprised me was the Xifeng Hot Spring at the foot of Tiantai Mountain, 40 kilometers northeast of Xifeng City, Guizhou. It was initiated and funded by the then provincial chairman Yang Sen as early as the 34th year of the Republic of China (that is, 1945). It was built in 1950 and has been in operation until now. The Guizhou Provincial Federation of Trade Unions also built a sanatorium here in 1956. Every year, countless tourists come here for a bath.
From 1945 to the present, Xifeng Hot Spring has experienced more than 70 years of wind and rain, and it has been enduring for a long time. So what is the charm of this hot spring? That's because the spring water in Xifengwen has been identified by the state as a rare "bicarbonate-type radon spring containing metasilicate and strontium" in the world. In addition to containing more than 30 kinds of trace elements that are beneficial to the human body, the most important thing is It contains the radioactive element radon, which makes it comparable to the world-famous Vichy Hot Spring in France. Therefore, Xifeng Hot Spring is also known as the "No. 1 Spring in the World" and is one of the eight hot springs in my country.
Xifeng Hot Spring is not a single spring, but a large mineral spring group with three main springs. Xifeng Hot Spring also took advantage of the trend to create three main areas: life spring, healing spring, and swimming pool spring. But I like the three floors the most. This swimming pool is not only moderate in size, not disturbed by too many tourists, but also has a rest area next to it, which is very comfortable. It is worth mentioning that when many people walked into Xifeng Hot Spring, they could not smell the smell of sulfur. They once suspected that it was "boiler water". "Calcium-type radon spring" is characterized by colorless, tasteless, odorless, transparent underground natural spring water, and the hot spring with the smell of rotten eggs is only a kind of hot spring, that is, sulfur-type hot spring, which cannot be used as a sign to judge whether the hot spring is true or false , For example, carbonated hot springs do not have the smell of sulfur.
Another interesting thing is that the township where Xifeng Hot Spring is located was originally named "Stone Field", and because there are many Ruan families in the area, it is also called "Ruanjiazhuang". Town", which shows that Xifeng Hot Spring has a great influence in the local area, and it also shows that the local people attach great importance to Xifeng Hot Spring. In addition to self-driving, there are direct buses to go here in Guiyang City and Xifeng County. Come and experience it. The charm of the best soup in the world!
Postscript: In just over a week, I naturally couldn’t get to know one or two of Guizhou, but this time the use of a caravan has added a lot of convenience to the journey. In fact, a caravan is not only for high-end people to go out, but for ordinary families. Rent can be afforded, I hope more people will know about joining RV travel, and I look forward to seeing you next time in Guizhou.
