23. Aral Golden Grass Beach
Caotan is at the foot of the stone city ruins in Taxkorgan. It is an old path that has become a two-way six-lane G314 national road. Along this new road, you can enter the largest and most beautiful meadow in the area.
Entering the scenic area, under the blue sky and white clouds, a silvery river meanders from the Pamirs. On both sides of the river are endless meadows. It is summer, and a large number of sheep and cattle are mixed in the vast grassland Together, they gnawed on the fat green grass tirelessly, while a group of horses raised their hooves from time to time and galloped, so mighty.
In the west of the meadow is the majestic Muztag Snow Peak, and on the left and right are mountains stretching far into the distance, guarding the meadow like a barrier, so the blue sky, white clouds, green grass, and dark mountains , the silver river reflects the snow peak, close your eyes and remember, that is the Golden Grass Beach! Visiting Golden Grass Beach is free.
Two handsome Tajiks
There is a wooden plank road on the meadow, and it is so elegant to walk on it.
24. Tajik girls
Taxkorgan is mainly composed of Tajik people, who are warm, beautiful and hospitable. On the way to Tacheng, when passing through Taheman Township, I saw some students standing on the side of the road, feeling like they were going to stop the bus. We really wanted to take one, so the vehicle drove slowly, and finally stopped in front of a father and daughter. Through contact with the father, he knew that the girl was going to go to school in the county, so he let her get on the bus. The father was very happy and relieved to let the girl go with us.
Chatting with the girl along the way, I learned that she goes to middle school in the county seat and goes home on weekends, and all expenses are borne by the government. It can be seen that the state's support for the frontier is very strong. The girl is very cheerful, besides answering our questions, she is also curious about us coming from afar. Yes, for her, the outside world is very exciting, knowledge can change destiny, I believe that the girl will have a bright future, and finally she sang Han Hong's "It's Dawn" to us, which is enough to show her self-confidence.
We sent her near the school and we broke up. The next day we went to Stone City to pass by this excellent middle school. All this and the whole style of the small town remain in my memory.
25. Entering the new home of the Tajiks
With the reform and opening up, the construction of the frontier is changing with each passing day, and the Tajik people under the Pamirs are gradually embarking on the road to prosperity. We stopped by the Alakin Grassland to take pictures, and were warmly invited by several Tajiks to visit their new homes.
With great curiosity, we followed the car. When we got there, it really opened our eyes. After visiting, I feel that this should be a homestay created by the Tajiks. It has very folk characteristics and a great environment.
It's just that we have already booked accommodation for that night, so we can only apologize politely. Of course, we also gave them a lot of suggestions. With the rise of tourism, quality homestays by the prairie must be popular.
Twenty-six, to and from the country
The purpose of taking National Highway 214 is to arrive at the Khunjerab Gate on the China-Pakistan border, but when I suddenly found that the Khunjerab Port I saw in the town of Taxkorgan was still more than 100 kilometers away from the country gate, I didn’t hesitate to stay here for an extra day.
It is a pity that after arriving there, I learned that the National Gate Scenic Spot, which was originally for tourists to visit, was closed. The specific reasons are different. Therefore, friends who want to go abroad must think twice after confirming the information, but I personally think that the scenery along the way is not bad, and it is also interesting to see the soldiers at the Khunjerab outpost.
Of course, all the way up to 4520 meters above sea level will cause altitude sickness, so you need to move slowly. However, I didn't seem to feel much, and I drove 50 kilometers on the return journey.
27. Baisha Lake
This is a landscape on National Highway 214 leading to Hongqi Lafu Port, and we passed by it twice, which made us stop and take pictures with great joy. On the way out, when I saw a white mountain on the right from a distance, I paid special attention to it. The closer I got, the more beautiful it was. When the driveway suddenly looked down and a lake suddenly appeared in front of me, I couldn't help but exclaimed in surprise, it's so beautiful!
I saw the blue lake and the white sand mountains leaning on each other, showing a kind of extreme softness. In fact, the sand mountain is formed naturally, but the lake water is a reservoir created by man-made, which can be called the perfect blending of man and nature!
Twenty-eight, 214 National Road
Even if it is a repeated journey, there will always be unrepeated scenery on the 214 National Highway. On the way from Taxkorgan to Kashgar, the grassy beaches, snow-capped mountains, lakes, and high mountains still make you stop and take pictures.
29. Kashgar Old Town
After returning to Kashgar from Taxkorgan, I deliberately chose to stay in a hotel near the old city. In the gradually approaching dusk, walking through the alleys of the old city of Kashgar, as if you have come to a foreign country, and feeling the rich customs and customs, you will be more fond of the city of Kashgar. The bazaar in the old city of Kashgar is very lively, with a wide variety of delicious snacks. There are many diners sitting around the food stalls in the middle of the street, and many foreigners also participate in it. The atmosphere is very peaceful. It is recommended to stay in Kashgar for a few more days.
