This homestay is in Batang, the last stop before entering Tibet. Originally, I planned to drive away directly, but a friend said that it was difficult to get a place with a lower altitude after a few days of travel and dust, so it is better to stay for a day and find a place to take a bath. We discussed it and found it feasible, so we found this homestay that can provide hot baths - Batang Yard.
The owner of the homestay is a young guy who came from Chengdu and opened this homestay on the Sichuan-Tibet line. He is not very talkative, but he is very sincere. He told us that we can come to him at any time if we have any questions. He also said that the homestay is still in the trial operation period. If there are any shortcomings, please mention them to him, and please bear with us.
The B&B is a single-family design with a spire, a loft duplex structure, and two beds on two floors. The potted plants and scenery in the yard, and the small decorations in the room all make people feel the care of the homestay owner. The whole accommodation environment is indeed the best on the Sichuan-Tibet line.
The B&B is built in the courtyard of the Tibetans. The owner of the B&B said that the feeling that this B&B wants to give people is that you have your own space when you close the door, and you can share the yard with Tibetans when you go out, so that everyone who comes here Everyone feels at home. The idea is rather novel.
The whole homestay has a strong Tibetan style. Three independent buildings form a yard. In addition to flowers and trees, there is also a hearth for barbecue outside the yard. The owner of the homestay said that the starry sky in Batang is very beautiful, so he specially launched a starry sky barbecue, hoping that the guests here can also enjoy the most beautiful starry sky in the south of the plateau while chatting.
Traveling does not achieve the goal by seeing those foreseen, those unknown and unexpected encounters are more touching.
