In the middle of 18 years, I jumped job and had 2 weeks of free time, so I wanted to find a place to go out and have fun. Looking at the map on the wall, I have never been to Taiwan, which is so close to Shanghai, so I planned the itinerary as quickly as possible and completed the slightly troublesome procedures. I have come to Taiwan, a treasure island that I have known for a long time but have not met.

Let's go!

Departing from Pudong Airport in the morning, it took more than an hour to arrive at Taoyuan Airport in Taiwan, which was faster than arriving in Beijing. I took the bus to the hotel. After a short rest, we had lunch first, and found a well-reviewed "Three Wonders of the World", mainly eating beef noodles. Taiwan's beef noodles are famous, try the authentic original flavor. When the beef noodles were served, the beef inside was big and thick, with many pieces. It reminded me of the Lanzhou noodles in the company cafeteria. There were only three slices and no more.

Desserts and snacks are also good, we left the door full and didn't feel hungry until dinner time.

June is the rainy season in Taiwan, and it rains non-stop. I saw that Eslite Bookstore is nearby. Eslite is a model of new-style bookstores and a must-visit resort for literary youths. In Taiwan, it is not only a bookstore, but also a symbol of culture. When the Suzhou store opened, I went to visit it.

Eslite Dunnan Point is the only 24-hour Eslite store, with multiple floors, shops, restaurants, where you can relax or entertain when you are tired from reading. The design of the entire bookstore is simple, elegant and warm. There are also many tables and chairs for everyone to read and write. The types of books are particularly rich. Whether you like books or peripheral products, it is worth spending time shopping.

In the evening, we went to the Raohe Night Market near the hotel. Although Raohe Night Market is not as famous as Shilin Night Market, it has good reviews. As soon as you enter the gate, you will find the famous pepper cakes. After trying one, I feel that it is not as good as advertised.

I tasted all kinds of snacks in the night market, and I like "Lemon Aiyu" more. Aiyu is a unique plant in Taiwan. It is a bit like jelly, and it is quite delicious. "Official board" is also delicious. The name sounds a bit unpleasant, but it means promotion and wealth. It is hot and crispy, with various fillings. I like it very much.

Back at the hotel at night, sleeping soundly in the middle of the night, suddenly felt the bed shaking, and the mobile phone suddenly had a warning message, and there was an earthquake. I have always heard that there are many earthquakes in Taiwan, but I didn't expect it to happen on the first day. I saw a 3.2-magnitude earthquake on my mobile phone, and heard that there was no movement in the surrounding rooms. I thought that the people of Taiwan had become accustomed to it, so I closed my eyes and continued to sleep, silently praying in my heart for a smooth trip.

Today, we will visit the National Palace Museum in Taipei, which is one of the must-see attractions in Taiwan. The National Palace Museum in Taipei is famous for its three treasures, which are jade cabbage, meat-shaped stone and Maogong tripod.

Jade cabbage is carved from jadeite. The white cabbage, emerald green leaves, and two leafworms are lifelike.

Meat-shaped stone, this is an agate stone, with distinct layers of skin, fat and lean meat, like a piece of fat and thin Dongpo meat.

Mao Gong Ding, is a bronze ware in the late Western Zhou Dynasty, the author is Mao Gong. The inscription on the tripod is as long as 497 characters, which is in the style of bronze inscriptions of the Western Zhou Dynasty, and has considerable research value.

The other pavilions in the museum are also good, you can spend more time visiting them. In addition, the cultural and creative products of the National Palace Museum in Taipei are very creative and design, and they are worthy of careful selection.

After coming out of the National Palace Museum in Taipei, we took a taxi to Taipei 101. 101 is also a must-see in Taiwan, once the tallest building in Asia.

Its elevator has been included in the Guinness Book of World Records, and it can reach the 89th floor observation deck in 37 seconds. The observation deck on the 89th floor is a closed observation deck with souvenir shops and cafes; the 91st floor is an outdoor observation deck with a small part open and a high fence. We boarded the viewing platform in the evening and stayed until nightfall, seeing both day and night scenes at the same time. It's a pity that the weather was gloomy and we couldn't see the sunset. The feeling of looking down from upstairs is actually similar to that of several buildings in Lujiazui, Shanghai, but the brightness and beauty of the buildings below are not as good as those in Shanghai. As a Shanghai people, we are proud of Shanghai.

After coming out of 101, we went directly to Din Tai Fung downstairs. In Taiwan, Din Tai Fung's reputation is simply a representative of Chinese cuisine.

It was past 8 o'clock in the evening, and there was still a long queue. We waited for more than 40 minutes. There are many types of Xiaolongbao, in addition to the common ones, there are also chocolate ones, loofah edamame ones, mashed taro ones, etc. We picked a few at random, and there are some steamed dumplings. As for the taste, it seems that there is not much difference from Shanghai Xiaolongbao. Those innovative Xiaolongbao are very interesting to try, so I recommend you to try them.

Take the Ziqiang from Taipei Main Station to Hualien Station in the morning, about 2 hours. The scenery along the coast is good, it is recommended to sit on the left side of the train to watch. It is said on the Internet that the tickets for this section are usually quite tight, and when I got on the bus, I found that it was not full.

Hualien looks relatively old, like a third- and fourth-tier city in the Mainland. Our homestay is about 20 kilometers away from the center of Hualien, and relatively close to Ocean Park. It occupies a relatively large area and faces the Pacific Ocean.

There are many small animals, rabbits, peacocks, and some artistic sculptures.

Our triple room is a small detached villa in the shape of high-heeled shoes. You can directly see the sea from the room.

The sea in Hualien is different from Kenting. It is said that the sea is not far from the sea and there is a deep trench, so it is not suitable for swimming in the sea. Walking on the beach to see the ebb and flow of the tide is the most common sight on the east coast of Taiwan. The way.

It rained all the time in the afternoon, we walked around the homestay, had a rest, and ate seafood at night.

6.18

Today is a one-day tour of Hualien with a chartered car. It is a more common route on the Internet, Qixingtan, Qingshui Cliff, and Taroko.

Qixingtan is relatively close to the center of Hualien. It is a crescent-shaped beach. It is free and open, and it is very popular with everyone. The color of the sea is a light blue-green, which looks very beautiful. The beach is not fine sand, but pebbles. It is said that according to the regulations, the pebbles here cannot be taken out of Taiwan. It can be seen that we cherish every plant and tree here.

Qingshui Cliff is a well-known scenic spot on the east coast of Taiwan, one of the eight scenic spots in Taiwan, and the train station from Taipei to Hualien will also pass by. The cliff is very high, close to the Pacific Ocean, there are cliffs on this side, and the vast sea on the other side. The waves keep beating against the rocks on the shore, stirring up waves.

Taroko is a national park, divided into several scenic spots, Shakadang Trail, Yanzikou, and Changchun Temple. It feels a bit like the National Forest Park in the Mainland. There are streams, rocks, and jungles in the mountains. When we were playing on the Shakadang Trail, there was a sudden heavy rain, which caught people off guard. I said before that the water in the mountains was a little dry. Just full of water vapor. Yanzikou is a unique scenic spot. There are countless small caves on the cliffs. In the past, swallows would build their nests and live there, forming the landscape of "Hundred Swallows Singing Valley".

At the end of the day tour, we went to Hualien Night Market,

In the past two days, there is not much newness in the night market. I picked a few favorite foods to fill my stomach and went back to the hotel. Along the way, I found that the night market can only be used as a side meal. If you eat too much, it will be a little boring, and you need to be serious. After eating.

 6.19

Today from Hualien to Kenting, we took a one-day carpool and took the Huadong Rift Valley Line. Originally, I wanted to take the sea route, but there were no carpoolers. The tour guide said that before 2014, all tourists liked to take the sea route, and after that they all liked the mountain route, and he didn't understand why.

There are the following scenic spots on the Rift Valley Line:

Yun Shanshui is a private farm with a huge lawn, various trees, and a piece of emerald green.

Ruisui Ranch is an open pasture with many cows free-range. You can also taste desserts, milk ice cream, milk candy, and many cow-shaped souvenirs.

The Tropic of Cancer is the dividing line between the temperate zone and the tropics on the earth, passing through Taiwan, Fujian, Guangdong and Guangxi in turn.

Chishang, "Chishang Bento" is a specialty here and is quite famous. It's just that there are too many people in the small shop, it looks a bit messy, and the taste is relatively average.

Brown Avenue is a long pastoral road. There is no telephone pole on both sides of the straight road. It is famous for the Brown coffee advertisement shot by Takeshi Kaneshiro. I like the idyllic scenery here very much. If I have time, I can get on a bicycle, and the riding experience will be better.

Duoliang Station is known as the most beautiful station on Taiwan's coastline. The driver master calculated the time, we arrived about 15 minutes earlier and waited for the arrival of the train. There was a heavy rainstorm, and the train roared in the rainstorm.

Arrive at Kenting Street at night, the sea breeze is blowing on the street, the crowds are surging, full of island style.

6.20

I feel a little unwell, so I took a good rest at the hotel today. The aunt of the homestay sent some fruits. Taiwan’s tropical fruits are really delicious and cheap, so you must not miss them.

6.21

Today, charter a car for a day and visit Kenting from east to west.

Longpan Park, a hillside, connected to the endless Pacific Ocean, has a taste of lonely wasteland. There are newcomers taking pictures here,

At the southernmost point of Taiwan, the wind is very strong and the waves are also very strong. Across the strait is the Philippines.

Eluanbi Park, a tall white lighthouse with a history of one hundred years, is a landmark of Kenting.

The sand island is full of strange rocks, the tide is surging, and the sea water rushes up again and again, churning endlessly. It is dangerous to walk on it.

Chuanfan Rock, a reef facing the sea, seems a bit lonely,

In Baisha Bay, the sand and stones are very delicate. This is the beach where the tiger jumped up in Ang Lee's "Life of Pi".

The scenery of Kenting is very beautiful, with a long coastline, white sandy beaches, and rich tropical flavor. It should be noted that the ultraviolet rays are very strong, and the face will be sunburned after being exposed to the sun for a while, so pay more attention to sun protection.

Leave Kenting and drive all the way to Kaohsiung. In the evening, I had a hot pot meal first, and then went to see the famous Kaohsiung subway, which is really beautiful and well-deserved.

6.22

In the morning, charter a car and depart for Sun Moon Lake. Alishan and Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan are places that I have heard about since I was a child. The trip to Alishan was quite tossing. We chose Sun Moon Lake this time.

Sun Moon Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Taiwan, slightly larger than West Lake. The northern half of the lake is circular, and the southern half of the lake is crescent-shaped, hence the name Sun Moon Lake. It is said that the complete shape of the sun and the moon can be seen from high places on the mountain.

On the boat at the pier, go to Lalu Island first, and eat the tea eggs strongly recommended by the lady on the boat. The taste is not bad. At this time, a heavy rainstorm came suddenly. We took shelter in the pavilion, but my mother was physically strong and climbed up the mountain for a long time.

The next stop is Ita Thao Wharf. There are many aboriginal art shops, souvenir shops, restaurants and hotels on the island.

If you have been to many tourist attractions, you may not think that Sun Moon Lake is so amazing, but Sun Moon Lake is quiet, peaceful, introverted and simple. Being here is like fulfilling a wish for many years.

From Sun Moon Lake, we came to Cingjing along the way. Cingjing Farm, known as "Little Switzerland", is the only alpine pasture in Taiwan with a pleasant climate. Because I have always preferred the scenery of Switzerland, this is the most anticipated attraction of my trip.

We live in a homestay not far from Qingqing Grassland, designed in European elegant style,

The restaurant feels very warm and friendly, and afternoon tea is provided for free.

The staff is very helpful, because in the mountains, the room is a bit humid.

6.23

Get up in the morning and go to the Qingqing Grassland. When you enter the door, you will see the Sheep Castle first.

The green pastures and the mountains in the distance complement each other,

There are 2 sheep shows every day, with a lot of spectators,

Cute 'heart-shaped' check-in place

The Skywalk is 1,200 meters long, and walking on it is like walking through the mountains.

Overlooking the old England mountain villa in the distance, it is the best homestay in Cingjing. Later, I walked over specifically to visit it, but it was a pity that I was not allowed to enter.

The Small Swiss Garden is a man-made attraction, slightly inferior to the Qingqing Grassland. The Starbucks inside is the highest Starbucks store in Taiwan. I went in and bought a cup of coffee to try "Coffee on the Mountain"

6.24

From Qingjing to Taichung this morning, I took the high-speed rail back to Taipei, and then took the MRT from Taipei to Tamsui. The brick-red train station at Tamsui Station is very imposing.

Tamsui was originally a small fishing village near Taipei, but now it is a well-known scenic spot. "Danjiang Sunset" is a must-see for many photographers. Of course, many people visit here because of Jay Chou.

Tamsui Old Street is very lively, with all kinds of delicious snacks on both sides, and a variety of souvenir shops. I bought pineapple cakes here and brought them back to Shanghai.

Take a boat from Tamsui Wharf to Fisherman's Wharf, and you can see the Lover's Bridge from a distance. The streamlined bridge is perfectly proportioned, like a white sail, about to set off. There are long plank roads on both sides. Everyone walks slowly, listening to the ebb and flow of the tide, and watching the elegant Lover Bridge. It is indeed very romantic.

In the evening, a large number of people gathered at Lover's Bridge, densely packed, and they all came to watch the sunset in Danshui. The sun is setting a little bit, and the warm sunset shines on the bridge, which is very charming.

As the sun set, we had to catch the last ferry, but we couldn't see the Lover's Bridge in the colorful neon lights, which is said to be very moving.

 6.25

Fly back to Shanghai early this morning.

Although Taiwan is small, it has all kinds of internal organs. There are modern cities, old towns and small towns, mountains and countryside, coastal lakes, and cultural landscapes. You can always find the one you like. Although Taipei is not so tall, it is civilized and artistic; the seas of Hualien and Kenting are both beautiful and have their own strengths; the beautiful pastoral scenery of Qingjing is unforgettable, and the sunset in Danshui is memorable; Taiwan is a Where there is warmth, the people here are warm, friendly, simple and warm. The 10-day trip around the island is unforgettable.

Where are you going next?
