In 2015, I visited northern Xinjiang for 20 days. I felt that the scenery in Xinjiang is so beautiful and the territory is too vast. The advertising slogan of CCTV: "Great Xinjiang" is not an exaggeration. In the past few years, I have always wanted to see the style of southern Xinjiang. This year's autumn finally took place. On October 15, we started our trip to southern Xinjiang: our itinerary is as follows:

Day 1 (10, 15), departure
Our trip was decided a month ago. Considering the distance between Guangdong and Xinjiang, the big traffic chose to travel by plane. On September 17, we booked the Zhuhai-Kashgar air ticket online, at 1,300 yuan per capita. Take off at 16th, arrive at Xi'an Xianyang Airport at 00:55 on the 16th, take off from Xi'an Xianyang Airport at 9:05 on the 16th, and arrive in Kashgar at 13:50. It was the first time I passed through Xi'an Xianyang Airport for a transfer. The airport has regulations: Anyone who stops at Xi'an Xianyang Airport for more than 6 hours, the airport will provide free accommodation, travel, and meals. This time I really felt the humanized and high-quality service of the airport. I took a beauty sleep at the airport hotel, and arrived in Kashgar full of energy on the 16th.
The next day (10, 16), Kashgar: Fragrant Concubine Garden
In Kashgar, we chose to stay at the Seman Hotel, which is an old hotel full of Uyghur style. It used to be the consulate of Tsarist Russia in Kashgar. There is a 2-hour time difference between Xinjiang and the mainland, and lunch time is at 2:00 pm, which is equivalent to 12:00 in Xinjiang time.
After lunch, we came to Xiangfei Garden. There are 72 mausoleums of the most famous Islamic holy family in Xinjiang for five generations, and the Xiangfei Tomb is just one of them. The gatehouse, small mosque, large mosque, religious scripture hall and main tomb were built in the courtyard. The buildings are magnificent and beautiful, but also have a very strong Islamic style. Among them, the main tomb is the largest dome-shaped building in Xinjiang. The surrounding walls are covered with green glazed bricks from top to bottom. These glazed bricks were fired more than 300 years ago and are still clean and beautiful today.
Coming out of Xiangfei Garden, we came to the nearby Gaotai residential area. Because these old Uyghur residential areas have a history of more than 600 years, they are full of crises. The government is enclosing them for repairs. I believe that in the near future, a safe and comfortable place will be maintained. The high platform dwellings are better displayed to tourists.
The third day (10, 17), a day trip to the Pamirs
We have already booked a one-day tour of the Pamirs on the Internet (168 yuan/person), which is a route along the China-Pakistan Highway on the Pamirs to enjoy the scenery of the plateau. The bus we took climbed over the peaks of the Kunlun Mountains, passing through Gaizi Canyon, the ancient Silk Road and post stations, and Bulunkou. Karak Lake, also known as "White Sand Lake", is a plateau flat lake with an area of 44 square kilometers. On both sides of Baisha Lake stands Gonger Jiubie Peak. After sleeping for thousands of years, the snow-capped mountains and the lake reflect each other. The wind is light and the water is still, and the river surface is like a mirror. It looks so clean, quiet and mysterious. Breathing slowly and deeply, enjoying a holy and quiet tranquility is also hard to come by. It is said that the Liusha River (the lair of the Sand Monk) described in "Journey to the West" is here. When Tang Monk passed by here to learn Buddhist scriptures from the West, Monk Sha was recruited by Tang Monk here.
Then continue to drive to Karakule Lake, a beautiful pearl hidden on the "roof of the world" Pamirs at an altitude of 3600 meters. Fortunately, you can see snow-capped mountains, grasslands, sheep, camels and yaks along the way. Karakul Lake (Karakul Lake): Karakul means "Black Sea", with an altitude of more than 3600 meters, a lake depth of 30 meters, and a total area of 10 It is an alpine glacier-eroded moraine lake. The water surface reflects the majestic and mysterious Muztagh Peak, the snow-capped mountains and rivers are the same color, and the scenery is very charming. The weather is strong today, the wind is sunny and sunny, no one in our group has altitude sickness, thank you!
The fourth day (10, 18), Kashgar Old Town
When you come to Kashgar, you must visit the old town of Kashgar. This old town is different from other ancient towns I have visited. The old town does not have a strong commercial atmosphere, and there are not many tourists. Uyghurs live in the city, and it is the place where Uyghurs live and live. , Uighurs living and working in peace and contentment can be seen everywhere. Uyghur craftsmen are the beautiful scenery of this ancient city. This old city has a history of hundreds of years and is the most classic representative of Kashgar and Uyghur culture. Most of the buildings in the old city Full of Islamic and Uighur customs, the streets are criss-crossed, neat and clean, with a unified style. Walking among them, it seems to have entered a foreign land in Central Asia. There is a lively opening ceremony at the east gate of the old city at ten o'clock every morning. To understand the ancient city, start with the opening ceremony.
The fifth day (10, 19), Kashgar Museum, East Lake Park, Kashgar Grand Bazaar
The Kashgar Museum was built in 1992. It has only two floors. It is basically displayed as "Xinjiang Silk Road Historical Relics Exhibition". The piece reproduces the splendid history of the Silk Road.
Walking out of the museum, we walked to the Kashgar Grand Bazaar, passing by East Lake Park, with its wide water surface, lush reeds and the Ferris wheel standing by the lake. It is difficult for people to connect it with the extremely dry land.
Kashgar Grand Bazaar: It has a history of more than 2,000 years. The business travelers who set off from Xi'an in the past, whether they took the Tianshan South Road or the Tianshan North Road, all met here. In ancient times, it was known as the "largest bazaar in Asia" and the largest in Northwest China. International trade market.
In the afternoon we left Kashgar for Zepu County by train at 17:10, arrived at 21:20, and checked into Nanjiang Business Hotel.
Day 6 (10, 20), Zepu: Populus euphratica National Forest Park
First of all, let’s talk about Zepu County. This small county is different from other places in southern Xinjiang. Being in it is like being in a small town in the south of the Yangtze River. Zepu County is located at the northern foot of the Kunlun Mountains, the western edge of the Tarim Basin, and the middle and upper part of the alluvial plain of the Yarkand River. It is rich in water, soil, light and heat resources, and the land is fertile. It is suitable for the development of various industries such as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, sideline and fishery. The reputation of "the first county of Wutong in China". Fatong Street in the county is a beautiful business card in southern Xinjiang.
Jinhuyang National Forest Park (4A, ticket 40 yuan/person, shuttle bus 20 yuan/person.) is located in the depths of the Gobi 40 kilometers southwest of Zepu County, on the upper edge of the alluvial fan of the Yarkand River, surrounded by water on three sides, with pleasant scenery and beautiful scenery. The area of natural Populus euphratica forest covers an area of 18,000 mu, showing the unique natural features of Populus euphratica, clear water, oasis and Gobi. The Populus euphratica here is deeply nourished by the Yarkant River, and its leaf veins are round. Most of them are like slim young girls in bloom, quiet and splendid. We chartered a one-day tour, 250 yuan a day, including picking us up in the morning to the scenic spot and sending us to the train station in the afternoon. We took the sleeper train K9720 to Kuqa at 19:05 (the driving time was 12 hours and 44 minutes), and arrived at 7:44 in the morning on the 21st Kuqa.
The seventh day (10, 21), Kuqa: Kuqa Palace, Kuqa Old Town
At 8 o'clock in the morning, we arrived at the reserved Kuqa Hotel. Because it was too early, the room had not been packed for us, so we had to store our luggage in the hotel lobby and visit the Kuqa Palace first.
Kuqa Palace (4A, 55 yuan/person): In 1759, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty sent inland Han craftsmen to build it in recognition of the achievements of the local Uyghur leader E Dui in helping to put down the size and size of the Hezhuo rebellion. At the beginning of the 20th century, only some houses and city walls remained in the original "Kuqa Palace". Therefore, in 2004, the Kuqa County Government invested 13 million yuan to rebuild the "Kuqa Palace" on the original site according to the memories of Dawuti Maihesuti. . On March 26, 2006, the door was opened to welcome guests. The King of Kuqa has been inherited for 12 generations, and the palace declined in the 11th generation of King Maihefuzi. Died of illness at the age of 88. The Kuqa Palace covers an area of 40,000 square meters and is a palace that combines the Central Plains and Islamic styles. Inside the palace are the Kucha Museum, the Kuqa Palace Cultural Relics Museum, the Kuqa Folklore Exhibition Hall, the last "Kuqa King" official Tai Qing Dynasty city wall, etc. Play slowly, two hours is enough, I think the tickets for this attraction are too high.
The old city of Kuqa, Xinjiang, once a big country in the Western Regions, is where the ancient country of Kucha is located, and an important station on the Silk Road. Because of its special geographical location, it still retains the appearance of the old city and old streets. The brightly colored doors and windows of the ancient city left a deep impression on me. Some people say that it is a small town in southern Xinjiang comparable to Morocco. "Unity New Bridge" is the symbol of Kuqa Old Town. Tuanjie New Bridge is the famous "Guci Ancient Ferry" in the past. It spans both sides of the Kuqa River. The wide river under the bridge has long since dried up and has become a good place for livestock trading. It is said that every Friday is Bazaar Day in Kuqa County. There are sheep bleating, horse neighing, and vehicle horns everywhere. It is very lively. Unfortunately, today is Monday, and we have lost a travel experience. While wandering around the old town of Kuqa, I came across a baked naan workshop. The big naan for four yuan is enough for four people to satisfy their greed. It was delicious and delicious. In retrospect, during the whole trip to southern Xinjiang, the naans in the old city of Kuqa were the largest and most delicious!
Day 8 (10, 22), Kuqa: Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves, Tianshan Mysterious Grand Canyon Day Tour
The one-day tour package (358 yuan/person) booked online two days in advance, the travel company provided us with a five-seater car, which is no different from a chartered car. We walked on the most beautiful Duku Highway in Xinjiang, and the beautiful scenery along the way was endless: star-studded The karst landform is followed by the saline ditch landform that has been eroded by the wind and is riddled with holes and exquisite, like a huge relief art museum, and the "Potala Palace Mountain Landscape" surrounded by towering reddish-brown peaks. Steep and majestic.
First came to the Kizil Grottoes in Baicheng County, about 68 kilometers away from Kuqa County. The Kizil Grottoes are located on cliffs and stretch for thousands of kilometers. Among them, there are more than 80 caves with murals, and the total area of murals is about 10,000 square meters. It is the earliest and westernmost large-scale grotto group excavated in my country. It was excavated in the 3rd century AD (300 years earlier than Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes), and gradually ceased construction in the 8th-9th century AD. Also very few. It belongs to the territory of the ancient country of Kucha and is one of the birthplaces of Kucha grotto art. Its grotto architectural art, sculpture art and mural art occupy an extremely important position in the Buddhist art of Central Asia and the Middle East. The Kizil Grottoes and the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes share the reputation of China's "Four Great Grottoes". It is a pity that history often makes great jokes for people. With the changes of history and the deterioration of the ecological environment, most of the grottoes can no longer see their true colors. We can only stand at the foot of the mountain and sigh for the splendid art and magnificent momentum and imagined. What is even more hateful is that a large number of exquisite murals were stolen by Western countries and separated from the large environment and matrix of the grottoes, which caused incalculable losses to the overall research and protection of the grottoes.
Then drive 70 kilometers to the mysterious Grand Canyon of Tianshan Mountain, which is located in the scenic spot of Kezilia, one of the nine major film and television bases in my country. Entering the canyon and walking among the reddish-brown mountains, it seems as if you have entered a quiet and cool world. The cliffs on both sides soar into the sky, leaving only a line of sky. The huge red mountain group was formed in the Mesozoic Era 140 million years ago. In the Cretaceous period, it was formed after hundreds of millions of years of wind and rain erosion and torrent erosion.
Ninth day (10, 23), Luntai
In the morning, leave the Kuqa Hotel and go to the passenger station to take a seven-seater car to Luntai County (45 yuan/person). Kuqa is very close to Luntai, and it only takes one hour and twenty minutes by car. In Luntai, we stayed at the Saiya European-style Hotel. Today is a day of travel and rest. We went shopping in Luntai County, and finally tasted the red willow barbecue at Yangwazi Naan Pit Bar, which is the most popular barbecue bar in the city. Come on, I have been looking for red willow branch barbecue. I like the fragrance of red willow branch in the lamb.
Day 10 (10,24), Luntai: Tarim Populus euphratica Park 5A
I got up at 7:30 in the morning, it was still dark, and there was only one cleaner on the road sweeping the street. The Luntai Bus Station opened at 8:30, and the street lights were still on. Take the car from Luntai Passenger Station to Tahe through Tarim Populus euphratica Forest Park, 18 yuan/person, nine-seater car, open when it is full. We finally set off at 9:50 and arrived at the entrance of the scenic spot at 11:30. We exchanged calls with the driver and made an appointment to return at 5 pm. Our car galloped all the way along the desert road, passing through patches of cotton fields, Gobi Desert, desert, golden Populus euphratica, yellow and green birch trees, and white velvet reeds can be seen everywhere. For us, the different scenery is very beautiful!
Tarim Populus euphratica Forest Park 5A (ticket 45 yuan, shuttle bus 23 yuan), with a total area of 100 square kilometers, is located in the middle reaches of the Tarim River on the northeast edge of the Taklamakan Desert, 70 kilometers away from the desert road in Luntai County, Bazhou. This piece of Populus euphratica forest is the largest in Xinjiang The original Populus euphratica forest is also the only Populus euphratica forest growing in the desert in my country. Coming here is not only to watch the picturesque scenery, but also to be infected by the tenacious vitality of this Populus euphratica forest. The trees here: live but never die. Years, dead but not down for a thousand years, down and immortal for a thousand years. It is too big here, you must take the shuttle bus, the 17-kilometer sightseeing road, one step at a time, you can enjoy the majestic appearance of the ancient and primitive Populus euphratica in different forms: the Populus euphratica by the lake is strong and golden, and its reflection is in the water The world is brilliant, and the Populus euphratica in the desert is rough and majestic. I really understand: I don’t know the magnificence of Populus euphratica if I don’t go to Luntai, and I don’t know the glory of life without Populus euphratica. There is also a 13-kilometer-long circular sightseeing railway in the scenic area, which connects 4-5 larger lakes in the forest. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery more comfortably by taking the sightseeing train (ticket 100 yuan/person). Due to time constraints, we did not experience the little train.
Day 11 (10, 25) Korla
I woke up naturally in the morning, took the bus from Luntai to Korla at 9:10, a three-hour drive, and at 12:30 we stayed at Home Inn on Qingnian Road in Korla. First of all, I want to talk about Korla. It is the capital of Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang, the second largest city in Xinjiang, the throat of the ancient Silk Road and one of the birthplaces of Western Region culture. It is an important city in the north and south of Xinjiang. A transportation hub and material distribution center, it is also an important political, economic and cultural center in the region. "Korla" means "overlook" in Uighur, and is also known as "Pear City" because of its rich "Korla Fragrant Pears", which are well-known both at home and abroad. Now is the season for fragrant pears to go on the market, but this year, the harvest of fragrant pears is poor due to pests and diseases, and the price is relatively expensive. We just buy them to try something new. After taking a full rest at the hotel, we came to Kongquehe Park. Kongque River is a rare water system without tributaries. Its only source comes from Bosten Lake. It overflows from the west of the lake, passes through Tiemenguan, flows through Korla City and Yuli County, and flows into Lop Nur. The Peacock River is the most beautiful scenery in Korla City. It is the "mother river" of Korla, Bazhou, Xinjiang. At this time of year, groups of swans will fly here to spend the winter. According to statistics, there are nearly 400 swans swimming in the river. After the following itinerary, I feel that this afternoon should be arranged to go to the Museum of Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture. The Kongque River can be used in the morning and evening. It is a little regrettable that I have no time to visit the museum.
Day 12 (10, 26) Korla: One-day tour of Luobu’s family
The one-day tour of Rob's family (128 yuan/person) booked online two days in advance is 15 by commercial vehicle, and it is economical to travel in a group. The Luobu Village Scenic Spot is located on the edge of the Taklimakan Desert in Yuli County, Bazhou. Starting from the urban area of Korla, you can not only enjoy the unique scenery of the western city, but also experience the first state of China—Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture through the large farmland along the way. The vast land and rich resources, the transition from the city to the desert, after about two hours' drive, we arrived at the paradise in the desert - the village of the Rob people, which is the place where the Rob people, one of the oldest ethnic groups in Xinjiang, live. This scenic spot is a desert-type scenic spot integrating natural landscapes such as deserts, lakes, forests, and grasslands, as well as the exotic Robdrow cultural landscape. When you enter the scenic spot, you realize that this small village is not simple. What about the beautiful scenery: 1. The largest desert in China - the Taklamakan Desert spreads golden here. 2. The longest inland river in China - the Tarim River flows and converges here. 3. The Tarim Green Corridor, the largest green corridor in China, is here to protect thousands of miles of wind and sand. 4. One of the oldest roads in China - the Silk Road extends here to the west to compose a thousand-year civilization. There are Wanzai Desert, Millennium Populus euphratica, and centenarians. We are here to bathe in the desert breeze and feel the vastness of the world. . . The one-day tour team returned at 4:15 p.m., and we were still a little bit unfinished. It is a pity that we cannot enjoy the afterglow of the sunset in the desert. Traveling is always accompanied by a regretful experience.
Day 13 (10, 27) Korla: Bosten Lake Day Trip
It is also a one-day tour of Bosten Lake booked online two days in advance. Bosten Lake Scenic Area is divided into several different scenic spots in Lianhua Lake and Ahongkou. We played Lianhua Lake Scenic Area and Lianhai World. These two scenic spots are named for their abundance of lotus flowers. According to the driver's introduction, the lake is full of lotus flowers in summer, which is very beautiful. The reeds around the lake are dense and tall, some with rippling reflections, some standing tall and graceful, with different postures. The lake is indigo and dark blue, and the waters in the center of the lake are open and clear to the bottom. The scenery forgets to return at dusk, the frontier fortress and lake light compete with Suzhou and Hangzhou! It is late autumn now, and the autumn wind has swept away the reed leaves, which are yellow and golden. We took a cruise ship to shuttle through the reeds (cruise ticket 60 yuan/person), walking on the reed plank road, and came across a few black swans playing in the lake. Our itinerary adds to the fun of interaction. Standing on the viewing platform and looking at this vast lake with vast waters, you can really feel the vastness of Bosten Lake! Bosten Lake is the largest inland freshwater lake in China, the largest national wetland park in China, and the freshwater wetland park with the largest area of reeds. It is the largest fishery production base in Xinjiang. I had the honor to taste the Choeltai fish in Bosten Lake for lunch. It tastes delicious. , The meat is tender and the taste is very good.
Leaving Korla at night, take the train (sleeping berth) at 00:26K9724 on the 28th to Urumqi.
The fourteenth day (10, 28) Urumqi: Tianshan Tianchi
The train arrived in Urumqi at 7 o'clock in the morning. We took a taxi to the hotel we booked, put down our luggage, and arrived at the Beijiao Passenger Station without stopping. We just got on the bus bound for Tianshan Tianchi at 10:40 (the round-trip ticket price is 40 yuan/person, in the afternoon Return at 6 o'clock), arrive at the gate of the scenic spot at 12:15 (ticket 95, shuttle bus 60), I have been to Tianshan Tianchi scenic spot in the summer of 2015, this time I want to see Tianchi in late autumn and early winter, because Urumqi left three days ago There was a light snow. When we arrived, the snow in the urban area had already melted. Fortunately, there was still some snow beside the road to Tianchi Lake. The verdant and tall Yunpine forest was even more green against the white snow on the ground. Tianshan Tianchi 5A scenic spot According to folklore, it is the fairyland where the Queen Mother of the West lives: the snow-capped peaks are reflected, surrounded by spruces, the lake is clear and crystal clear like jade, surrounded by mountains, and the scenery is picturesque. This time, Tianchi has changed from the beauty of spring and summer to the most glorious season of the year: azure blue sky, golden red birch, dark green spruce, and the layers of forest are fully dyed, graceful and splendid.
Day 15 (10, 29) Urumqi: Botanical Garden, Hongshan Park
The pilaf in Urumqi is my favorite, and I was about to leave. I decided to go to Beijing Road to taste Fenghuiyuan pilaf at noon, so I visited the botanical garden by the way. The botanical garden is not too big, and the entrance fee is 5 yuan per person. The construction of scenic spots focuses on plant landscaping and reflects the natural landscape. At present, more than 400 species of various plants have been collected, including more than 10 species of deer root, sand holly, naked fruit tree, and Siberian fir. Rare and endangered plants. It's early winter and there aren't many flower displays.
In the afternoon, I came to Hongshan Park in the city center. It is one of the eight old scenic spots in Urumqi and a landmark of Urumqi. After more than 200 years of wind and rain, the Hongshan Pagoda stands intact on the top of the cliff, which can be called a must in Urumqi. Spend 10 yuan tickets to board the "Overlook Building". As the name suggests, you can climb high and look far away, and you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Urumqi. On the second floor, there is a model of the symbol tower of the geographical center of the Asian continent. It has popularized the knowledge about the geographical center of the Asian continent and let us re-understand: Urumqi - the heart of Asia.
The trip to Xinjiang came to an end. We boarded the plane from Urumqi to Xi'an at 21:30 with reluctance, and arrived at Xi'an Xianyang Airport three hours later. We checked into the Royal Dragon Airport Hotel near the airport for free.
On the sixteenth day (10, 30) arrived home smoothly
Since we took the Xi’an-Zhuhai plane at 13:15, we could go to the village near the hotel—Zhouling Town for a stroll in the morning. This place is named after Zhouling. Zhouling only opens at 10 o’clock every day to welcome guests. Due to time constraints, we had to give up. This attraction is gone. The journey home went smoothly, and the pleasant journey came to a successful conclusion!
Finally, the delicacies of southern Xinjiang will be served
