There are sixteen characters in this article: "The moon rises and fights in the east, and the wind follows you", "Standing in a vain manner, leaving the borders untouched". The first horoscope is just like the natural and wonderful state of mind and the beauty of friendship; the latter horoscope is like the intention of looking forward to the past for ten years and pursuing it day by day-it fits very well with itself and with painting.

It is arrogant and conceited when one's own knowledge is narrow and conceived out of thin air. I clearly remember that when I was in my early twenties, I said with confidence: "Even if the practice is almost unreal, what's the point..."——Only the judgment of those who have really arrived is credible. Now I have benefited a lot from the ancients in terms of skills, and I will no longer have the arbitrariness of the time; I also learn to store the self-confidence I have always had in my heart and put it into action. From an amateur who just graduated in 2011 to a professional painter who will have his first solo exhibition in 2021, it has been exactly ten years. During this period, a lot of painting practice and art study made me deeply understand the difficulties and sublime of traditional painting—traditional painting expressed with lines and brush and ink is an ancient technique and unique in the world. We must know that modern painting is greatly influenced by the West. When I was in high school, I studied art in high school, which was sketching, sketching, and gouache. The study of categories can improve the basic qualities of the two major paintings of "observation" and "modeling", but I always regret that I know too little about traditional painting; at the same time, I am convinced that this is what I have always loved. Still in the hobby stage and before, every time I saw calligraphy and painting in the museum, I would secretly yearn for it. At that time, I couldn't understand anything but was deeply attracted. It is the traction in the dark that makes me grow from a shallow hobby to a professional painter step by step. Of course, these improvements are due to the large and rich traditional calligraphy and painting exhibitions held by major museums in recent years, as well as the convenient viewing and learning channels brought by the Internet. As a result, I was fortunate enough to see a large number of authentic paintings and calligraphy, feel the charm of traditional paintings at close range, and make myself more convinced to walk my own path—yes, I have to go all over the ancient classics, wash away the inherent painting habits, and let My favorite painting language goes deep into my bone marrow, and then I paint everything I want to paint. Among the large number of paintings in the past, in addition to the classic paintings of ancient times, there are also various small creations borrowed from ancient times and series of themed creations on the spur of the moment. These so-called creations are more about normal play and display of their basic skills, which are not enough to be admired. As a painter who has requirements for himself and pursues art, of course he will not be satisfied easily. "A towering tree must have roots" - it is still necessary to consolidate its roots with a calm mind. As always, maintain self-confidence, follow your own heart, step out of your own pace - and go far. What's more, since you have acquired the ancient sage's unique knowledge in terms of skills, you should also understand its essence in mind. The former determines the ability and level of painting, while the latter affects the style and style of the painting. While learning painting techniques, he is constantly being influenced by culture. Studying figure painting, learning about the characteristics and humanistic customs of people in different periods; studying landscape painting, awakening my love and feelings for natural rivers and mountains; studying flower and bird painting, paying attention to the changes of the four seasons, and not forgetting the beauty of the world... Thinking about it Therefore, culture, self-cultivation and skill are the root of presenting one's own painting works. I have a natural love for painting, and I have a lot of intentions in the layout; I have thought, thought and practiced in the past ten years, just as the theme of this exhibition expresses - modesty and pure and ancient temperament. Postscript There are countless works painted in the past ten years, and fortunately they have been collected by collectors from all walks of life. Most of the paintings in this exhibition are recent masterpieces of ancient people and small creations recreated from ancient times; they cover various themes such as figures, landscapes, flowers and birds, etc. They are also selected works in various themes. It is a phased display and a prelude to the next phase.
