Consumption details are attached at the end of the article.

Number of people traveling: three people

The older you get, the less you like to socialize. I don't like being in crowds. Then go out. Step forward and the world will unfold before your eyes. Isolate yourself from the hustle and bustle of the city by walking, go to see the clouds, listen to the rain, walk the ancient tea-horse road again, and feel the caravan atmosphere that still remains after thousands of years.

The 27-day trip to Yunnan and Tibet begins with the ancient town of Shaxi.

Shaxi is located in the southwest of Jianchuan County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, between Dali Scenic Area and Lijiang Ancient City, and the traffic here is not convenient. We start from Lijiang, at Lijiang Bus Station, take a long-distance bus to Jianchuan County Bus Station

Below: the place where I have been living in Lijiang. Convenient and fast, good quality and low price, you can eat, very hygienic, the price is close to the people, and the proprietress is very kind and friendly. The key point is that it is directly opposite Lijiang Passenger Station. When you go out and cross a small road, you will enter the Passenger Station. It is very convenient to live here and take a passenger bus to other places or take a taxi. If you want to go to the airport from here, you can take a taxi for 15 yuan to Minhang Lantian Hotel, which is the airport bus station. The 20 yuan airport bus goes to Lijiang Sanyi Airport, which is nearly 30 kilometers. If it goes well, the journey takes about 40-50 minutes. This is how I go.

The picture below: Lijiang Passenger Transport Station (taken while standing in my room.)

From Lijiang to Shaxi: Take the Lijiang-Jianchuan bus at Lijiang Passenger Station, about 20 yuan. The departure time is from 08:20 to 17:00, and there are 7 buses a day. After arriving at Jianchuan Bus Station, transfer to the green rural passenger bus to Shaxi Ancient Town. The bus on the front is at the gate of the passenger station, the departure time is 06:30--19:00, the bus departs when it is full (7 people are full), the fare is 13 yuan, and it takes about 40 minutes.

We went to the passenger station on the night of January 27th and bought tickets for 8:20 the next morning. We had breakfast on the morning of January 28th, crossed the road to the passenger station, and waited for the bus. Every time a car comes (minibus, more than ten people in one car), the passengers of that car can check their tickets and enter the station. Usually, they check their tickets and get on the bus 15 minutes in advance.

Lijiang - Jianchuan, nearly 2 hours on the road. Catch up on sleep.

It was past ten o'clock when I arrived at the station. After getting off the long-distance bus, there were many green minivans outside the station to Shaxi Town. There is no passenger station in Shaxi Ancient Town, only green minivans travel between Shaxi Ancient Town and Jianchuan County. The journey takes about 45 minutes and costs 15 yuan per person. Each car can seat 7 passengers, and the train is usually full. Either drive by yourself, charter a car, or only green bread.

We sat on the green bread and went directly to Shibaoshan (the part of Shibaoshan, which will be described separately). After visiting Shibaoshan, it was already past four o'clock in the afternoon. At the gate of the mountain, contact the master to pick it up. From Shibaoshan to Shaxi Town, a chartered car and accommodation for three people is 200 yuan (one night for three people, because the Spring Festival is approaching and everyone is busy welcoming the New Year, so there are few tourists during this time period, and room and board are very cheap).

Bottom: The iconic buildings located on the outskirts of the ancient town.

Let me make up the history of Shaxi first:

On October 11, 2001, the World Monumental Buildings Conservation Foundation officially announced in New York, USA that the Sideng Street area of Shaxi Town, Jianchuan County, Dali Prefecture, China was included in the 2002 World Monumental Building Heritage Protection List.

The list pointed out: "China's Shaxi (Sideng Street) area is the only surviving market on the ancient tea-horse road. There are complete theaters, hotels, temples, and village gates, making this market connecting Tibet and South Asia quite complete. ."

The picture below: Shaxi Sideng Street (on the right side of the stone is the ancient village gate). In fact, Sideng Street is not long, and the whole ancient town is not too big, and it can be walked in one or two hours. But the history and customs here are worth slowly appreciating and savoring. As always, slow travel.

Below: Guzhai Gate

The quaint gate isolates the hustle and bustle of reality. Walk into the gate of the village and get closer to history.

Every time I see my own shadow in the sunset, I feel an inexplicable sense of time travel.

The Sideng Street area not only completely preserves the style of the traditional mountain village ancient market on the Ancient Tea-Horse Road, but also is the most active place of Bai culture.

Also included in China are the Great Wall Cultural Landscape in Beijing, Daqin Pagoda and Monastery in Shaanxi, and O'Hare Synagogue in Shanghai.

Below: Ancient Theater

There is a saying among the local people in Shaxi that one is not a pure Shaxi native if one does not go to the ancient stage. This was originally a place where the Bai people lived, and the people of the Bai people were good at singing and dancing. With the stage as a witness, they became more enthusiastic about cultural performances.

Picture below: Check-in - Tianjingsha Photography Theme Inn Sitting on the small terrace, you can see the back street.

As long as you are away from home, every time you go, you should use wifi first, and sorting out photos is a top priority.

Today is New Year's Eve, let's have a meal together (the mint short ribs in Figure 4 taste very good, and the mint is also fried, with a unique fragrance)

The picture below: the stage under the afterglow of the setting sun, the ancient street, the ancient rhyme, and the long-lasting love for ancient times.

In the morning, there are not many tourists, and the ancient town is more peaceful and beautiful.

I like this quiet beauty, Xiangyue. The fur kids here are extremely lucky. Get up early, the morning fog rises, they have already shuttled between the streets and alleys, smelling east and west, calling for friends and companions. After playing around enough, they all went home happily for dinner. During the day, you can watch tourists linger in the market, or lie in front of the door or under the window and enjoy sunbathing. As the sun went down, the little friends got together again, chasing and fighting in the streets and alleys, and the perfect dog life was performed day after day, happily.

Under the warm winter sun, the fur kids each find a place to bask in the sun and sleep. I wanted to go into the shop for a glass of juice, but I had no choice but to walk in by them. The freshly squeezed pear juice here is delicious, refreshing and thirst-quenching. 15 yuan a cup.

I like the deserted ancient streets and alleys the most. Take it easy, An Ran.

At night, hold the lights. At this time, the ancient town washes away lead and dust. Stepping on the clean stone road, the heart is pure and calm.

The caravans used to go through the halls and alleys here, and made a strong contribution to the economic prosperity at that time.

The building has gone through a hundred years of vicissitudes, witnessing the ups and downs of the world and the changes of history.

Nowadays, most of these ancient houses facing the street have opened shops. Each has its own characteristics and unique charm. The clothing stores in the ancient town, like many ancient towns, mostly sell some cotton and linen clothes, as well as some handicraft products. Some of the prices are close to the people, but some of them will be expensive because of their special features.

The picture below: The leaves fall for autumn, but it is not far from the next spring.

Below: It is still flourishing, perhaps one step closer to the cold winter of life.

Everyone is like a tree, each with its own posture. Or lush, or vigorous, or graceful, or green. For some, it is destined to be a tree in the forest; What kind of tree would you be?

Bottom picture: The wilderness in winter is still full of blue colors, and the farmland stretches like a scroll.

Bottom: Crops are livelihood and hope.

Walk on the fields of hope.

Bottom: An ancient bridge. Although small, it is still strong after a hundred years of wind and rain.

Bottom picture: local specialty breakfast - dilute bean flour. Slightly salty. The breakfast is delicious and suits your appetite.

Picture below: The pastry shop on Sideng Street is simply amazing. The light cheesecake is only 10 yuan a piece. It has a strong milky fragrance. The shop is clean and tidy.

Picture below: Tired of shopping the next morning, I happened to walk to this pizzeria. Tried one and it tasted good.

Shaxi, a quiet and leisurely town. Because it is not very convenient to take a car from Lijiang or Dali, there are not many tourists here, and the prices are more affordable than other scenic spots. In two days, I strolled in the courtyard and felt the charm of the ancient town. When I left, I felt sad.

The beauty of pastoral style. A small town worth savoring. In the future, I will take my daughter and visit again.
