The summer when people come and go is the rare rainy season in Tibet. The gloomy and continuous clouds block people's vision, and it is difficult to see the true colors of the magnificent snow-capped mountains. Only those who are persistent in climbing can get some rewards.

Winter is the best time to watch Mount Everest. The thick clouds quietly dissipate. Even ordinary people, as long as they have the heart, can look up at the most real scene of the snow-capped mountains. The flag cloud flutters on the clear peak, sometimes like a flag waving in the wind, sometimes like rough sea waves, this is a gift from nature in winter.

Entering Mount Everest National Park, along the rugged mountain road, we arrived at the viewing platform of the first Mount Everest. From here, you can see five 8,000-meter peaks in the national park. From left to right are Makalu at 8463 meters above sea level, Lhotse at 8516 meters above sea level, Everest at 8844.43 meters above sea level, Cho Oyu at 8201 meters above sea level and Shishapangma at 8012 meters above sea level.

Among the many glaciers on Mount Everest, the largest and most famous is the compound valley glacier - the Rongbuk Glacier. The 26-kilometer-long Rongbuk Glacier is the most well-preserved and well-developed glacier in the world today. The unique monsoon climate, peculiar mountains and strange-shaped peaks have created magnificent and rare serac forests, ice velvet, ice bridges, seracs and other strange landscapes. If you are lucky, you can also see Mount Everest banner clouds here.

When you come here in May and June every year, you can meet mountaineering teams. Among the dozens of tents in the base camp, we chose one as our foothold. Then we couldn't wait to pick up the camera to shoot the sunset on Mount Everest. At this time, Mount Everest is like a bride to be married, covering her face with a white cloud gauze; occasionally her cheeks are slightly exposed, and then quickly disappear. It's really "still holding the pipa and half covering the face".

After 7 o'clock in the evening, I felt crowded outside the tent. When I came out, I saw that the clouds on the shoulders of Mount Everest had dissipated. The peak is clearly in front of our eyes. At this point, the tourists began to cheer. After waiting patiently, I finally saw the true face of the Holy Maiden Peak. With the afterglow of the setting sun, the appearance of Mount Everest gradually turns from pure white to light yellow; then it turns to golden yellow, forming the trend of "Golden Mountain". The world's first peak is really majestic! Although I had seen Mount Everest the year before last, I still couldn't help crying when I saw Mount Everest under the sunset.
