It just so happened that the World Horticultural Exposition was also held in Yanqing recently. I wanted to find a homestay on the weekend to stay overnight and visit the Expo. I decided to go to Yanqing to spend a beautiful weekend. The first thing I had to book was a B&B. There are quite a few B&Bs in Yanqing. We booked 2 rooms, which cost 300 and 500 yuan respectively.

I asked the boss why the cute names are so contrasting. The boss said that this is like his small yard, a combination of Chinese and Western.

Peter is this British bullfighting bull. Although he looks very strong, he has a very simple and honest personality, which makes him very happy to watch. In the evening, summer and the dog were playing and running on the lawn, and the soft light poured down, which felt very beautiful.

What I like most about Xiaozi Commune is its front yard with a small lawn. I have stayed in many courtyard homestays, but there are not many with such high-quality small lawns. It can be said that this yard can best reflect the owner's intentions. It's a pity that I didn't bring picnic equipment, otherwise it would be so happy to have a picnic party on this lawn. I heard from the owner of Xiaozi Commune that he is also planning to prepare picnic equipment for the guests, and he should really come back when the preparations are ready. And this lawn is also very suitable for KTV gatherings, or holding some themed parties.

I have long heard that the mountains and rivers in Yanqing are the most beautiful in the suburbs of Beijing. I was struggling between Baili Gallery and Yudu Mountain. The owner of the hotel strongly recommended Yudu Mountain to us, saying that it is more suitable for parent-child travel than Baili Gallery. . Sure enough, after going there, I think Yudu Mountain is really the most suitable natural scenic spot for family travel around Beijing.

Yudu Mountain is about 10 kilometers away from Yanqing City, and it is the closest scenic spot to Xiaozi Commune where we stayed. It takes about 40 minutes to drive there. The mountain peak at an altitude of 930 meters looks like a "stack of firewood", so the villagers named it "Yiduo Mountain", and later changed its name to Yudu Mountain. It has only been developed in recent years, relatively speaking, it is still relatively small, and there will not be many tourists.

It is suitable for parents and children. The first important point is that you can drive up here directly, eliminating the hardship of climbing mountains. Although mountaineering is also fun to climb, it is really inconvenient to bring the elderly and children. After passing through the winding mountain road, after arriving at the Yudu Mountain Scenic Area, the eyes suddenly opened up. There is a RV camping area at the entrance of the scenic spot. It is a good choice to camp here in midsummer.

Among the many scenic spots in Yudu Mountain, my favorite is Wangyou Lake and Alpine Grassland. The landscape of Wangyou Lake is the same color, the artistic conception is open, and the scenery is quiet, which really makes people "forget worry". There is no need to do anything here, just walking along the boardwalk by the lake is a kind of pleasant enjoyment.

"Shouting Spring" is a major feature of Wangyou Lake. This iron pot roast mainly focuses on stewed big goose, chai chicken, official live fish, lamb chops, and beef. The big goose and chai chicken are all free-range in the village. The fish is also freshly killed and eaten, and the freshness of the ingredients is relatively guaranteed. We chose Wujiang fish, the staple food is cornmeal pancakes, and the side dishes are tofu, beans, eggplant, mushrooms, vermicelli, chrysanthemum and so on.
