Dylan's second flight destination is Taiwan. In the 1990s, Taiwan’s songs spread across the ocean to the mainland. We grew up listening to the songs of Teresa Teng, Lo Dayou, and Emil Chow from childhood. Later, all of our youthful memories included Jay Chou, Leehom Wang, and Tao Zhe. , Xiao Yaxuan, Zhang Huimei, Liang Jingru and other Taiwanese singers' songs are used as background music. I imagined that the homes of idols would be very foreign, the splendor of Taipei, the sea and the fragrance of rice in Tainan... As we grow up and the information becomes more and more developed, Taiwan is gradually lifted from the veil and gradually becomes real. Later, I was not very interested in Taiwan. This time, Dylan’s aunt went to Taiwan as an exchange student this semester, so I decided to arrange this trip. By the way, I went to condolences to my aunt who lost a lot of weight because she couldn’t eat Sichuan hot pot.

The time for this trip is limited, and I didn't think about coming for the second time before departure, so the itinerary was quite tight.

Preparation before departure:

Documents: Two documents are required to go to Taiwan. First, go to the Public Security Bureau to apply for a travel permit to and from Taiwan (small lavender book), and then find the seller through Taobao to apply for a Taiwan entry permit (print out a piece of paper);

Flights: There are many direct flights to Taipei every day. The early flight is cheaper, but considering that I don’t want to wake Dylan up early to go to the airport, I booked the afternoon flight.

Taiwan, like Japan and South Korea, cannot rent a car without an international driver's license, so chartered cars are particularly common. Don't book a particularly cheap car, as it is prone to disputes and the service cannot be guaranteed. For the more spacious T5, the price around the island is about 1,400 yuan per day, which is relatively normal, and the driver is more willing to accept it. The price in Taipei and surrounding areas is about 800-1100 yuan per day, because the distance is short, the driver can go home to live. In addition, if you take your baby out, you must confirm the safety seat with the driver.

Hotels: Hotels in Taiwan are more expensive, and hotels of the same class are about 25% more expensive than inland hotels. Although it was not the peak season when we went, high-quality hotels are still very tight, so it is recommended that you book in advance.

Others: conversion plug (US standard), mobile WIFI

Arriving at Capital Airport at noon, Dylan's stroller was handed over to the flight attendant at the boarding gate, and was picked up at the boarding gate when he landed. After going through the two tests of take-off and landing and crying to get rid of the ear pressure, in addition to taking a nap and eating a meal, what the little guy enjoys most about flying is that the stewardesses surround him and play with him , belongs to the kind that is happy to see beautiful women. Milk and rice noodles can be directly mixed with the water on the plane into warm water, so mothers don't have to worry about it.

After landing and exiting the customs, I saw the driver holding a sign to pick us up, got in the car and went straight to Taichung. It took about two hours to arrive in Taichung. The hotel I booked is called Xingxiang Road. The Fengjia Night Market is just across the road downstairs, which is very convenient.

After settling down the luggage, we went to the night market, and dinner was settled like this. It is said that Fengjia Night Market is very famous, and it is relatively large among Taiwan’s night markets, but it can’t compare with Beijing Temple Fair, and there are not many types of food. It may be that the expectations were too high, and I was really disappointed. Fried squid sticks, small intestines wrapped in large intestines, flamed beef in various flavors, fatty intestines noodles, in short, I ate a little of most of what I saw, and tasted Taiwanese beer, and then went back to the hotel to sleep with a full stomach .

Get up and have breakfast at the hotel, pack up and head to Kenting after 9:00. If you take Dylan out, you won't have anything to do with being lazy. Thinking about how happy it was to sleep until the morning when I went out to play, but now that I wake up early, I feel that I have a lot more time.

On the way to departure, the driver took us to Rainbow Village. Many people took pictures here. I really didn’t understand what it meant, so I took a picture with Dylan and hurried on. At noon, I went shopping and had dinner at E-Da World next to Kaohsiung. The mall is very big, just an outlet mall. The discounted styles of first-line brands are similar to those of other places. Other brands are older and less affordable. big.

It was already afternoon when we arrived in Kenting. The driver first took us to an unnamed small beach to watch the sunset. It was very quiet here. Sitting in a small pavilion, we unconsciously fell into a daze.

Considering bringing Dylan with me, I will choose a more convenient hotel, which is closer to shopping. In Kenting, I booked SMOKEY JOE’S, which is a very beautiful homestay on Kenting Main Street. Although it is still defined as a B&B, it covers a large area and has a lot of rooms. There is a swimming pool in the middle of the yard, and the decoration is very fashionable. Of course, the price is relatively expensive among B&Bs.

In the evening, I asked the driver to take us to a small shop in the fishing port to eat seafood. This kind of shop cannot accept credit cards, and we dare not order too hard if we don’t have much cash. The ATM of every 7-11 convenience store on Kenting Avenue can withdraw cash, which is very convenient. In the evening, I visited the night market on Kenting Street, and the snacks were similar to Fengjia Night Market. I felt boring if I didn't eat, so I reluctantly ate some and went back to sleep.

I was active in Kenting today. I drove around in the morning and had dinner at Xiongjia Wanluan Pig's Knuckle Restaurant at noon. I saw it on the way here yesterday. I really like pork knuckles. The restaurant is so big and there are quite a lot of people, but not all pork knuckles, there are also pork knuckles and so on. In short, they are cut and served. Meat lovers should like it.

I went diving in the afternoon, mainly to see the situation in this sea area, and then played on the beach in Nanwan~ Kenting’s beach and sea water are relatively average, even if it is worse than some islands in Southeast Asia, after all, the style different.

If you like diving and are relatively professional, it is recommended to go to a diving shop called "Qianzhuang". Dylan's aunt learned diving here and got OW and AOW. Let me tell you quietly, the coach here is very handsome~haha~

The seafood I ate at the Houbihu Fishing Port Building at night, I brought more cash today with my experience yesterday. Seafood is fresh and not expensive. The lobster is delicious raw, and the fried crab is also delicious.

I ordered too much for dinner, and the little one went to bed early, so I packed the provincial lobster and crab back to the hotel, bought some fruit wine at 711 and sat on the balcony of the room to eat. Dylan is sleeping in the house, and this is the most comfortable moment. After a while, the kitten came over after smelling the smell, and kept watching us meowing endlessly. He simply threw the lobster shell and lobster legs with meat to it. The cat was so happy to eat it, and left after eating all the meat. , we have to clean up the battlefield for it.
