This time I brought my friends from Malaysia to Beimen Station + Sleeping Forest in Chiayi City.

Beimen Station---In 1910, the section between Chiayi and Zhutouzaki was opened to traffic, Alishan Railway began partial operation, and Beimen Station was also completed in that year. A little different from other stations along the railway line at that time, Beimen Station was not just an ordinary station. It and Chiayi Station constituted the east and west boundaries of a very large timber professional zone respectively. Logging-related facilities such as log yards, log storage ponds, and lumber mills, as well as the North Gate Repair Factory in charge of vehicle maintenance scheduling.

This station is the urban station of the Alishan Railway, so we just happened to meet the train coming down from Fenchihu at 16:14 pm here. This carriage + locomotive has been in operation for at least 80 years, and it is antique. The sophisticated atmosphere has also been brought down. The station body of the station still retains the style of the previous Japanese era, wooden buildings, getting off the train and walking out of the station, as if sleeping through time, simple but with the significance of the times .

The Small Sleeping Forest Park opposite the station, if you don’t pay attention, it’s easy to pass by. Seeing these sleeping animals is so healing! And under the sun, there are just trees here for shade, plus there are micro The wind blows Buddha~~~~~~~ I really want to sleep here.. Hahaha.....
