I went to Taiwan on November 22, 2015. I have been to some places before, but I never thought of writing a travel note. Two years later, I visited many places one after another, and I wanted to write travel notes, but all the places I visited just now were written as travel notes. Only Taiwan, the first place I went to, has been unable to write, because it is too beautiful, and I want to write better quietly. , has been dragged until now, if I don’t write any more, some details will be forgotten.

My travel notes are all in the form of journals, which may not be aesthetically pleasing, but mainly because I can relive the bits and pieces of the year after many years!

1. Preparation

If Taiwan's preparations started from reading travel notes, it should have been prepared for more than half a year.

1. Taiwan Pass: Handled by the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau. It is valid for half a year. If you plan to go to the first step, you need to do this, because you need to book a hotel and an air ticket. It is recommended to do it about 3 months in advance. (We are scheduled for the itinerary on November 22, and signed the pass on October 9.)

2. Accommodation: Because I started planning a trip to Taiwan very early, I booked accommodation earlier than air tickets. It is recommended to have friends who do homework. If you are optimistic about your favorite accommodation and travel on holidays, you must book early. During the Spring Festival, popular business travel and travel The B&Bs were fully booked more than 2 months earlier, and some were even sold out as soon as the online reservations were opened 3 months in advance. Book in advance, if there is a change in the itinerary, you only need to refund the deposit 14 days in advance. Hotels and homestays in Taiwan are free of charge, and some do not even require a deposit, just call to inform. If you cancel 1-13 days in advance, you will lose a certain percentage of the deposit. For details, you can consult the corresponding hotel or homestay.

On the night I got the Taiwan Pass, I booked a 3-day stay in Taipei on the official website of a hotel chain near Taipei Main Station. Living near Taipei Main Station is the best choice. The high-speed rail, Taiwan Railway, and MRT are integrated, and the bus is also very developed. This hotel is all economical and business-oriented, and the price is very high. I booked a 2-day accommodation near Hualien Railway Station on BOOKING, and finally booked a homestay on Kenting Main Street for 2 days on AGODA. (I specially applied for an ICBC VISA dual-currency credit card to book the hotel.)

3. Air tickets booked on Ctrip.com.

4. On October 29, buy the Taipei-Zuoying high-speed rail early bird ticket (35% off) on the Taiwan High Speed Rail website (remember that you can only buy it 28 days in advance at the earliest). Subsequent purchase of Taipei-Ruifang round-trip ticket, Fangliao-Hualien, Hualien-Taipei Taiwan Railway ticket on the Taiwan Railway website (Taiwan Railway can enjoy a 5% discount when paying with a credit card) (Taiwan Railway can be purchased 14 days in advance at the earliest), of which Taiwan Railway The round-trip tickets from Fangliao to Hualien, and from Hualien to Taipei are the most popular routes in Taiwan. They span the political and economic center of Taipei and the two major scenic spots of Hualien and Kenting. The most important way to go is to buy in advance, because the ticket source is very tight, and you need to squat in front of the computer 2 weeks in advance in the early morning to grab it.

Remember: high-speed rail tickets and Taiwan Railway tickets can only be purchased and paid on the website with visa or master credit cards, UnionPay cards are not acceptable.

6. Telephone card and unlimited network: Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are activated before the trip, as long as the pre-stored call charges are more than 300 yuan, the call to the mainland is 0.99 yuan/minute.

7. Changing Taiwan dollars: It is recommended to apply for a debit card of Huaxia (Hengfeng) Bank, and understand their overseas withdrawal policies in advance. Currency Exchange Location: Airport, 7-11

8. To Taiwan, you need to prepare the following special items:

Coin bag: Taiwan 100 is worth coins, so prepare a coin bag

Benben: Taiwan is a city that collects medals, and unique medals are everywhere

Garbage bags: prepare more, there are very few trash cans outside, and the garbage needs to be taken home

2. Departure

2015.11.22 departure, 8 days around the peninsula:

11.22 Beijing International Airport—Taipei Taoyuan Airport—Taipei Maokong

11.23 Ruifang—Shifen—Qingtong (take the Pingxi train in Ruifang)—Jiufen—Taipei Ningxia Night Market

11.24 Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall - Taipei Palace Museum - Tamsui Old Street - Truth University - Tamsui High School - Fortress of Red Hair - Fool's Wharf - Raohe Night Market, Taipei

11.25 Taipei—Zuoying—Kenting Marine Biological Museum—Kenting Main Street

11.26 Kenting Great Bay - Dingsha Island - Chuanfan Rock - Eluanbi - Wind Chuisha - Longpan Park - Houbihu Seafood Market - Maobitou - Baisha - Guanshan - Fire Outlet

11.27 Kenting - Fangliao - Hualien - Hualien Rainbow Night Market

11.28 Hualien Qingshui Cliff - Taroko Park - Qixingtan

11.29 Hualien-Taipei-Beijing

On the first day, the plane was supposed to arrive in Taipei at around 11:40. Unexpectedly, a heavy snow in Beijing caused us to be delayed by 3 hours. After getting off the airport and before entering the customs, I saw the currency exchange office, and there was an ATM machine next to it, so I made a decisive withdrawal. Facts have proved that the exchange rate for UnionPay card withdrawals is the highest, and the exchange rate on that day is 4.97. After exiting the customs, turn left to the end, which is the service point of the three major telecommunications companies in Taiwan. We chose Far EasTone, the one with the least queue. 10-day unlimited data package, free call charges of about 50 yuan, a total of 120 yuan. The teller service staff skillfully replaced the SIM card, and the Internet speed was extremely fast, which immediately felt very worthwhile. Then we found the Guoguang Bus Ticket Office and bought a bus ticket from Taoyuan to Taipei Main Station. The fare was about NT125, and it took about 1 hour to arrive at Taipei Main Station. We chose to walk to a chain hotel near Taipei Main Station, about 10 minutes , but the first time you are not familiar with it, you need to ask the way.

Due to the lateness, I had to miss the pre-booked 16:30 cat cable crystal car on the Internet (the ticket needs to be picked up 15 minutes in advance) (the crystal car means that the base is also transparent, which is a rare experience). Take the MRT at Taipei Main Station and get out of the zoo station. When we arrived at Maokong, it was already dark, so we had to queue up to buy tickets and take the cat cable crystal car.

We took the MRT in Taipei for the first time, and found that no matter how many people there are, Boai seats will always be reserved for those in need!

We still chose to take the cat cable crystal car, unfortunately at night, but the transparent bottom is quite exciting.

Come to the highest station - Maokong Station

On the top of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of the bustling night view of Taipei. There is not enough time to visit 101 in person, but you can only overlook 101!

Dinner was originally arranged to go to the night market, but it was too late, so I ate it on the top of Maokong Mountain.

The next day Our schedule today is quite full! When traveling in Taiwan, you must not miss the delicious food, so despite the tight schedule, I went to the Sihai Soy Milk Shop near Taipei Xinyi Station Building 2 recommended by the Internet in the morning. shop, but the content is very rich, I especially recommend his rice balls.

We took the Taiwan Railway from Taipei to Ruifang at Taipei Main Station (we picked up all the booked tickets at Taipei Main Station last night). Taipei Main Station is currently a transfer station for the Taiwan Railway Longitudinal Line, Taiwan High Speed Rail, Taipei MRT Red Line and Blue Line. out!

Although the Taiwan Railway to Ruifang is old, the carriages are clean and tidy with complete facilities.

The only reason we want to go to Ruifang is because we want to take the Pingxi train in Ruifang. Arrive at Ruifang Railway Station. Great reputation, small train station.

Basically, one hour of play time can be set aside for each small station of Pingxi small train, which has become the longest and most beautiful passenger transportation branch line, and it is a line with a super artistic style.

Due to limited time, we chose to visit Shifen and Qingtong.

The Shifen station arrived, and the little train took us to Shifen.

I like those small train stations with great style, so happy!

Shifen is a famous place in Taiwan to release sky lanterns and make wishes.

I think the most romantic scene is to take a nap on the rails, although there are merchants selling on both sides of the rails.

The Jing'an Suspension Bridge in Shifen, which spans the Keelung River, has experienced more than 60 years of ups and downs and witnessed the decline and prosperity of Shifen Town.

After reading the map of Shifen, I decided to walk to Waterfall Park.

Starting from the station and walking along the road, the hustle and bustle of the crowd gradually moved away.

About 15 minutes on foot, you will arrive at Shifen Waterfall Park. Eyes full of green, dense forests in the mountains.

Suddenly came such a Chinese red wooden ladder, which is extraordinarily dazzling among the emerald green mountains and forests, embellishing the monotonous green of the mountains.

From the entrance to see the waterfall, you will pass a suspension bridge, and you will see the famous Shifen Waterfall. Although it is not majestic, it does add a lot to the beautiful mountain scenery! Shifen Waterfall has a drop of about 20 meters and a width of about 40 meters. The direction of the outer rock area is opposite to the direction of the water flow. It is an anticlinal waterfall. This situation is similar to that of Niagara Falls in North America, which earned it the title of "Taiwan Niagara Falls". reputation.

Looking from the middle of the branches, it is looming.

The magnificent water waterfall and majestic momentum are the largest curtain waterfall in Taiwan.

 small bridge in the park

The actual geographical location of Shifen Scenic Area is on a tributary of the Keelung River, which belongs to the waterfall valley type in Taiwan's scenic spots, and the Keelung River is the largest and longest river in the northern region. Due to the erosion of the source and the cutting terrain nearby relationship, resulting in many faults and strange rocks, and the river flows through these faults and strange rocks, causing many waterfalls and wonders.

See this railway running between mountains and rivers? From Shifen to the next stop, we will pass through here. Lush and refreshing.

A suspension bridge parallel to the train track, many people are waiting on it to take pictures of the moment when the colorful train passes in the jungle.

The train is coming! Seeing the train passing by in the dense forest is far more exciting than looking at the greenery outside in the train.

It really should be "I stand on the bridge and watch the train, and the people who watch the scenery watch me in the train".

Qingtong is the terminus of the Pingxi Line. The station is a beige Japanese-style building with black tiles and wood components. No matter the appearance or interior furnishings, it still maintains the original style.

Next to the platform is the Jingtong Railway Museum.

The Pingxi line can be said to be built for coal mines, and Jingtong is the largest mine. During the most developed period of mining, Jingtong Railway Station played a pivotal role. Although the mining has stopped, Jingtong is now prosperous. However, it still retains many traditional architectural styles of the Japanese occupation era. The quiet mountain town exudes a strong Japanese style. A visit here is enough to remind people of the past.

Today's important theme is Jiufen, but after playing the Pingxi Line for a long time, it was already late in Jiufen. I didn't expect Jiufen to be so beautiful, and because we still lived in Taipei that night, Jinguashi was not there. Go, it's a pity.

Take the Pingxi train back to Ruifang, Ruifang Old Street has time to visit, it is still very good.

There is a Dinghao supermarket opposite Ruifang Railway Station, and you can see many people waiting for the bus. Like us, everyone is waiting for the bus to Jiufen. The mountain road was bumpy, and the driver drove even harder. I didn't have much expectations for Jiufen when I first made the strategy. When the bus was driving on Panshang Road, I had no idea that the bus had already taken us into this beautiful town built on a mountain and surrounded by the sea. The driver master will say thank you to everyone who gets off the bus, which is really polite.

Jiufen is a charming mountain city! It's a pity that it was already late when we arrived, and the light was already dark for taking pictures. Standing on a high place, the smoke curls up, the sea and the sky are integrated, and the unique old buildings, slopes and customs are intoxicating.

The houses in Jiufen conform to the mountain and are built together in rows. The narrow streets and steep stone steps are high and low, winding, which is the most characteristic landscape in Jiufen. When you walk, you feel like you are walking in the living room. on the roof of the house.

In the mountain city of Jiufen, there are uneven alleys and delicacies in deep alleys. The streets in Jiufen are narrow and small, and Jishan Street is the busiest one. This tasteful old street embodies Taiwan's unique food culture and is the most prosperous business district in Jiufen. There are more than a hundred small shops on both sides of the street, including traditional snacks, restaurants, folk art shops, all food, drink, entertainment and accommodation are included.

If you only eat one item, tourists will definitely not miss Jiufen’s unique taro balls. This traditional snack made of taro is a handmade delicacy. Red bean taro ball soup has sweetness of taro and a smooth taste. It is delicious in color, fragrance and taste. Especially Lai Po's taro balls are super delicious and very Q. A large bowl is only NT35, which is very cheap.

When the night is quiet, leaning against the window to watch the fishing port flickering with fishing lights, enjoying the tranquility of the mountain city at night.

I rushed back to Taipei overnight, and our group of foodies haven't visited the night markets in Taipei yet. Go straight to Raohe Night Market. According to the Raiders, there are more locals in this night market.

Taiwan doesn't seem to pay much attention to the exterior decoration of stores, but its snacks are really delicious and cheaper than our mainland. Taiwan's famous snacks: large intestines wrapped with small intestines, braised pork rice, beef noodles, pearl milk tea, oyster omelette (I like it very much), shaved ice mountain, mochi, etc.

On the third day, the itinerary is also full. Went to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall early in the morning. The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall was built in 1976 to commemorate Chiang Kai-shek. The whole area includes the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Park, archway, roundup, and Zhanyang Avenue, with theaters and concert halls on both sides. Its shape resembles the top of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing and the body of an Egyptian pyramid. Towering and majestic, they are all Chinese palace-style buildings with a strong literary atmosphere.

The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is centered on the towering memorial building, surrounded by lush, swaying and colorful tree flower gardens and small bridges. The environment is quiet and quiet, while the memorial building is solemn and solemn.

Looking down from the height of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, the archway is opposite, the square is in the center, the National Concert Hall is on the left, and the National Theater is on the right.

The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is mainly designed with Chinese garden landscaping, with classic and elegant corridors and window edges. The overall building is in harmony with blue and white, which has the meaning of freedom and equality. The octagonal shape of the top of the treasure represents the eight virtues of "loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, love, faith, righteousness, peace, and peace". They gather on the top of the treasure and connect with the sky above, so as to embody the idea of "the unity of man and nature".

There is a huge bronze statue of Chiang Kai-shek on the upper floor of the Zhongzheng Hall, guards are stationed on both sides of the bronze statue, and the guard of honor is one of the most eye-catching programs of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The guard of honor is handed over on the hour from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm every day.

After watching the handover of the guard of honor, I rushed to the National Palace Museum in Taipei. Before I came here, I wanted to see the jade cabbage in the National Palace Museum in Taipei; only after I came here did I realize that there are too many treasures to see.

The National Palace Museum in Taipei is a famous museum of history, culture and art history in Taiwan, located beside Shuangxi outside Shilin District, Taipei. The whole building is built on the mountain, which is a traditional Chinese palace architectural form, with 4 floors, white walls and green tiles, solemn and elegant, full of traditional colors.

Taipei Palace Museum

The National Palace Museum in Taipei is very simple in appearance, but the treasures inside can really dazzle you. There are more than 20 exhibition rooms in the courtyard, which collect more than 240,000 cultural relics transported to Taiwan from the Palace Museum in Beijing, the Palace Museum in Shenyang, and the Jehol Palace, including bronzes from the Shang and Zhou dynasties, jade wares, ceramics, and ancient books and documents from past dynasties. , famous paintings and inscriptions are all rare treasures. The museum has a collection of about 600,000 cultural relics and treasures, some of which will be displayed in the exhibition hall, which will be replaced every three months, and various special exhibitions will be held from time to time.

It is said that all the treasures of the Qing court are here. The National Palace Museum in Taipei has collected the essence of cultural relics and arts of the past dynasties, which can be roughly divided into bronzes, calligraphy and painting, ceramics, books and classics, handicrafts and court cultural relics. There are really many treasures in the National Palace Museum in Taipei, so you must take the time to take a good look inside.

The three treasures of the National Palace Museum in Taipei are the meat-shaped stone, the jade cabbage and the Maogong tripod; the jadeite cabbage and the meat-shaped stone are exquisite handicrafts, and their lifelike shapes are enough to distinguish the real from the real; the Maogong tripod has the most inscriptions so far. It is rare in the world for its preciousness (bronze wares at that time were not only priced based on texture and antiquity, but also increased according to the number of words in the inscription, and one word could add one tael of gold).

I can't find any words to describe my shock! Any reproduction of pictures and texts cannot compare with the real feeling of witnessing national treasures!

Qin Xiaoyi, former director of the National Palace Museum in Taipei, said: "The beauty of China lies in culture and art, and the beauty of culture and art is all in the National Palace Museum in Taipei."

In the afternoon, we continued to play in Tamsui, including Truth University, Tamkang Middle School, Hongmao City, and watching the sunset at the fascinating Fisherman's Wharf.

Tamsui District is located on the northwest coast of New Taipei City, Taiwan, on the north side of the estuary of the Tamsui River. It is adjacent to Sanzhi District in the north, Beitou District in Taipei City in the south, Taiwan Strait in the west, and separated from Bali District in the southwest by the Tamsui River. . Rivers, mountains, rivers, and beautiful scenery, it has been one of the eight scenic spots in Taiwan since ancient times, and it was also known as "Oriental Venice" in the past. When we took the MRT out of Tamsui Station, we saw the beautiful dark red station building, which was almost the same color as the famous Tamsui Fortress. The red building is also very special among the many MRT stations in Taipei.

Not far from the MRT station is Tamsui Old Street. The old street is located next to the beautiful Tamsui River, and it is one of the most distinctive old streets in northern Taiwan.

Along the Danshui River, the scenery is beautiful.

There are many shops on the street, whether they are nostalgic or modern shops, and there are many famous traditional delicacies in Tamsui, such as fish ball soup, rice cakes, bowl cakes, fish cakes, pork bone soup, iron eggs, mochi and other snacks , let you come to Danshui not only to enjoy the beautiful scenery, but also to enjoy many fresh delicacies.

Strolling among the ramps and visiting Tamsui Old Street, the life of the ancestors can still be seen vividly. The several time-honored gourmet restaurants on the old street are the most famous places in Tamsui. There are many seafood restaurants on Zhongzheng Road next to the coast, among which the cheap and high-quality Sea Breeze Restaurant is the most popular. We had lunch (albeit a bit late) at Sea Breeze Restaurant.

Strolling along the old street, the Red House, Tamkang High School, Truth University, you can see through the fresh buildings. But we didn't have much time, so we still took the bus to the next attraction - Truth University. Truth University is a private university founded by the Taiwan Presbyterian Church in northern Taiwan. It has two campuses, Taipei Tamsui and Tainan Madou. This time we went to Taipei Tamsui Campus, located in Zhenzhen Street, Tamsui Town, Taipei County. Truth University overlooks Guanyin Mountain and the estuary of the Danshui River, and the scenery is extremely beautiful.

The campus is built on the small hill of Paotaipu in Danshui, and the slope is indeed quite steep.

University of Truth

The campus is surrounded by flowers and trees, the study environment is exquisite and elegant, and all kinds of teaching, sports, leisure and other facilities required by teachers and students are quite complete. Looking at the green gardens and the quiet campus, the body and mind have been cleansed. The ancient buildings make people feel comfortable physically and mentally.

It was originally a church school, so the teaching building has the style of a church. The appearance looks like a Western church, but it incorporates many elements of southern Fujian architecture. Red bricks and stones are mixed and matched, and the original meaning of art is hidden in the mixture.

Go straight down the mountain path next to the University of Truth, and after a while, you will see the filming location of "The Unspeakable Secret": Tamkang Senior High School, let us who are no longer young return to those years and those things.

An ancient banyan tree next to the school

This is a place suitable for walking and strolling slowly. There are countless surprises and scenery along the way. If you go further down, you will come to the adjacent Danshui Hongmao City.

Tamsui Red Hair Fortress is the most historically significant building in Tamsui and a first-class historic site in Taiwan. It was first established by the Spaniards, and later the Dutch ruled Taiwan and repaired it, and the Dutch were called Hongmao by the locals, hence the name Hongmao City. It was later used as the British Consulate. The whole area of Danshui Hongmaocheng is divided into two parts: Hongmaocheng and the consulate. Red bricks and green trees, taking pictures is very artistic.

This is the official residence of the British Consul in Hongmao City, a two-story red brick western-style building, standing here overlooking the Tamsui River.

After more than 300 years of history, today's Hongmao City has a beautiful environment, not only planting a large area of green lawn, but also enjoying the scenery of the river bank, and displaying many valuable cultural relics.

Walking further, you can see a very elegant small white building. This is the Little White House in Tamsui. It was originally the official residence of the Taxation Department of Tamsui Customs in the Qing Dynasty. The Little White House is a Spanish cloister-style building, with a total of 11 semicircular arches, eight arches on the front, and four arches on the east and west, giving people a sense of symmetry and harmony.

The most famous place in Tamsui is Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf, where you can have a panoramic view of the famous "Danjiang Sunset". Hurry up and hurry up, it's still a little late, but there are too many beautiful scenery along the road to stumble my footsteps.

Fisherman's Wharf is really super super super beautiful! Taking a picture casually is like a painting! Only when you see it with your own eyes can you feel that the hard work and waiting on the road are worth it.

As the sun sets, the blue sky, colorful rays of light, calm freshwater sea, street lamps and gazebos on the sidelines together outline a purple picture scroll from light to deep.

Standing at the end of the boardwalk, you can see the dreamy colors on the Lover's Bridge.

Strolling along the boardwalk, you can have a glimpse of the style of the wharf on both sides of Tamsui. Walk to the trestle bridge in the middle of the river, sit quietly and listen to the singing of the waves hitting the shore, or lean against the lamp rail and blow the gentle sea breeze.

The pier lit up with stars has a different taste.

This is our last night in Taipei, and we are rushing to Ningxia Night Market (it is said that there are many tour groups in Shilin Night Market, so we have no choice.)

Come for a side of chicken thigh ribs each.

At the Ningxia Night Market, you must remember to eat Lai Kee Egg Oyster Omelet. Watching the master fry 7 or 8 servings at a time, and he uses plates as tools, super cool. (Unfortunately no photo)

Taipei night market has a lot of choices, but if you ask real Taipei people, many of them think that the relatively large Ningxia night market is the best choice because many stalls are from nearby ones after the renovation plan of Taipei night market. There are a lot of time-honored shops and stalls in Yuanhuan. Many of them have a long history, whether it’s the snack shops on the side or the hawkers that only open after 5 p.m. Find it here.

Day Four We traveled from Taipei to Kenting in southern Taiwan.

First, take the high-speed train from Taipei Main Station to Zuoying Station. Remember the early bird ticket I booked in advance with a 50% discount? !

The journey took a total of one and a half hours, which was still very fast. The pastoral scenery along the way made me feel like I was back on the mainland. The south is obviously not as prosperous as the north, and the air quality is slightly worse.

After arriving at the Zuoying high-speed rail station, there is still a long distance from Kenting. Because we have plenty of time, we chose the more comfortable Kenting Express (the cost of the Kenting Express to Hengchun is NT375).

In the process of going south, we drove along the southwest edge of Taiwan Island. On the right side of the road circling along the coast, there is an endless sea. The road winds along the coastline and goes south. The geographical location is unique. I think it is the most magnificent in China. The longest coastline.

The last guide map of Kenting National Park to play in these two days.

Since someone among us really wants to go to the Aquarium (I have been to the Aquarium in Qingdao and the Aquarium in Hong Kong, so I am not very interested), the Kenting Express Line Hengzhichun Ancient Town transfers, and then transfers to the Kenting Streetcar to go to Sea Life museum.

The Kenting Marine Biology Museum is located in the coastal area at the foot of Guishan Mountain in the northwest corner of Kenting National Park. It is a large-scale museum with the theme of marine life.

At the entrance of the Marine Life Museum, there is a large whale parent-child hydrophilic square, which is lifelike.

The hall of the Marine Life Museum seems to have entered the bottom of the sea.

The Marine Life Pavilion is divided into three exhibition halls: the Taiwan Waters Pavilion, the Coral Kingdom Pavilion and the World Waters Pavilion.

The first thing we visited was the Taiwan Waters Pavilion, which features the ocean pool, whose acrylic viewing window is 16.5 meters wide and 4.85 meters high, and the thickness of the poolside glass is about 33 centimeters thick. Three-tailed whale sharks are kept in it. .

Next, visit the Coral Kingdom Pavilion. The "Coral Kingdom Pavilion" features live coral displays and an 81-meter-long submarine tunnel.

The last pavilion - World Waters Pavilion, "World Waters Pavilion" includes four exhibition areas: ancient oceans, seaweed forests, deep sea waters, and polar waters. In addition to the display of seaweed forests in traditional aquariums, it is the first to display electronic ecological tanks, presenting ecological environments such as ancient oceans, deep seas, and polar regions with virtual reality techniques.

If you go with children, you can consider the overnight activities of the Marine Life Museum. The marine life museum at night and the noise during the day are completely two worlds. The submarine tunnel is the most popular, so you need to book half a year in advance.

We chose to stay in Kenting on Kenting Street, which is extremely convenient for transportation. Although it is noisy, the bus stops next to the hotel. The entire street is covered with B&Bs of all sizes, and if you walk a little further in, you will find B&Bs near the sea, which will be more comfortable. After settling in, it was dark. Downstairs is Kenting Avenue, which is full of tropical ocean style. It is known as "Ximending in Southern Taiwan". People who travel in Ding will go to the night market where they step on it at night. There are many bars, dance halls, and food stalls that are open at night along the road.

The neon lights on the street make the street scene very lively, which is quite like a resort in Nanyang.

After cleaning up the perfect food, I couldn't help but lust for the beautiful scenery, so I ran to Dawan Beach on the side of the street. The beach at night is very quiet.

On the fifth day, charter a car to play in Kenting. Since there are many scenic spots in Kenting and scattered, and there are few buses, younger people can rent electric cars to play, which is also very good; but at our age, we can only charter a car! The chartered car was found on the Internet based on the praise in the guide, Jie Ge, NT3000 a day, a very real master. We live near the Great Bay in Kenting. We got up early in the morning and went to see the sea again.

From the homestay to the beach, you have to pass through this grassland.

Dawan is the largest beach in Kenting. It is the closest to Kenting Main Street, but there are few tourists. You can experience the endless sky and sea.

Early in the morning, the master was waiting for us at the door of the agreed B&B.

The first scenic spot is Sand Island, which is named after the accumulation of shell sand like an island. At present, the Sand Island Ecological Protection Area has been established. Sand Island is the only shell beach in Taiwan. It is mainly formed by long-term deposition of shells, coral debris and foraminifera. Since there are no streams nearby to carry sand or impurities into it, the content of shell sand is as high as 97%. Above, it ranks the crown of all beaches in Kenting, and it is a very precious landscape resource in Taiwan.

coral reef in sand island

Sand Island Beach is the purest shell beach in Kenting. In order to protect this world-class beach, restrictive measures have been taken. Tourists can only watch from a distance, and cannot go down to play in the sand and play with the tide. However, there is a shell sand exhibition hall next to the sand island, which introduces precious materials such as the precious single-celled foraminifera in the sand island beach, and there is also a touching area, so that tourists who cannot go to the beach can also enjoy the beautiful shell sand.

On Sand Island, you can see another scenic spot - Chuanfan Rock. Chuanfan Rock is located between Kenting and Eluanbi. It is named after its shape like a ship entering the port. Chuanfan Rock is about 50 meters high and 40 meters around. It is a raised coral reef. The stone is covered with weeds, flowers and shrubs, and it becomes a nest for birds.

Eluanbi Park is located at the southernmost tip of Taiwan Island, on the platform at the end of the central mountain range. The tip stretches out to form a peninsula. It faces the sea on three sides and the mountain on the other side. It is the boundary between the Pacific Ocean, the Bashi Channel and the Taiwan Strait. There are many toll parks, and the price is not expensive NT40.

Just entered the park, the eyes are full of tropical plants. There are about 240 species of plants in the garden, including tropical coastal trees such as ivory tree, yellow hibiscus, sea lemon, and lintou.

Looking from a distance, the Eluanbi Lighthouse stands tall like a giant.

The sea area near Eluanbi is coral reef and limestone terrain, with huge reefs and jagged rocks. There are natural strange rocks and caves such as Hero Stone, Qingtian Stone, Pig Rock, Caohai Cave, and Ancient Cave, which are full of fun.

The trails are criss-crossed, leading to scenic spots such as Haohan Stone, Canghai Pavilion, Youyi Village, Yougu, and Yingbin Pavilion.

As far as the eye can see, the Pacific Ocean, the Taiwan Strait, and the Bashi Strait are vast expanses of blue water. Here, it is like spring all the year round, charming and colorful. It is known as the tropical seaside atmosphere of banana wind and coconut rain, blue sea and white waves.

Run towards the lighthouse in your heart.

The whole body of the tower is white and round, under the blue sky and white clouds, the white is so dazzling!

The white lighthouse and outbuildings shine brightly against the blue sky and sea

Looking out over the coast from the lighthouse.

The grassy slope near the lighthouse is majestic and majestic, which makes people have the urge to somersault and roll down from it.

After turning right from the highway next to Eluanbi Park, you can reach the southernmost point parking lot next to the lighthouse, and go down from the parking lot to find the entrance to the southernmost point in Taiwan. After entering, walk for about ten minutes, through the dense jungle along the coast, you can see a wooden viewing platform and the image sign of the southernmost point of Taiwan on it (standing at 120 degrees 50 minutes 0 seconds east longitude, 21 degrees 53 minutes 59 seconds north latitude , is a cement mark marking the southernmost point of Taiwan's main island). Here you can have a panoramic view of the sea where the Bashi Channel and the Pacific Ocean meet.

Longpan Park, located next to Jia'e Highway, is a limestone platform formed by uplifted coral reefs. Because of the dissolution of limestone, it has caused strange topographical landscapes such as cracks, seepage holes, and limestone caves. One of the four major landscapes of Kenting National Park. Due to the vast terrain, facing the vast Pacific Ocean, especially once you climb the steep cliff, you will have a wide view. The green land on the side, the vast sea view in front of you, the green mountains in the distance and the clear blue sky with white clouds are not stingy. You can't help but marvel at the beauty of nature.

Starting from Longpan Park, go straight in the direction of Jialeshui, and you can see a section of road covered with fine white sand on both sides. This is the wind-blown sand landscape. Kenting's "wind-blown sand" is a special geographical environment, because the northeast monsoon in winter blows the sand on the beach to the hillside, and the heavy rain brought by the typhoon in summer washes the sand back to the beach. Since the road was built, planting Without the protection forest, this landscape is hard to see.

Standing on the beach, facing the sea breeze, facing the Pacific Ocean, enjoying the feeling of being blown by the wind is also very pleasant...

It's time for lunch, and of course you have to eat seafood in Kenting. It is said that the cheapest place to eat seafood is Houbihu. I didn’t want to write a travelogue at the time, so I just remembered eating crab legs and shrimp shells, and didn’t take a single photo. I didn’t dare to eat sashimi. I ordered an elephant-nosed clam, and the price went up. Four people ate it. More than 700 yuan is not too cheap.

The first scenic spot in the afternoon is the outlet of the nuclear power plant near Houbi Lake. Here is the fusion of the cooling water of the nuclear power plant and the sea water. Due to the difference in temperature, the sea water presents a bright fluorescent blue with distinct layers and is very beautiful. scenic area.

The light blue in the vicinity and the dark blue in the distance are very obvious and amazing.

In the afternoon, Maobitou, the second scenic spot, is located at the western tip of the southern tip of Taiwan. It is the boundary point between the Taiwan Strait and the Bashi Channel. It got its name because there is a piece of coral reef rolling down from the sea cliff in this area, which looks like a lying cat.

It is also a scenic spot visited by tourist groups, and there are many people.

Maobitou Park is a typical coral reef coastal erosion terrain. It is an excellent viewing spot for looking at the coastline at the end of Taiwan, and it is also a natural geological classroom for viewing coral reef terrain.

In Maobitou Park, I saw two kinds of plants, the seaside plant Lintou and the chessboard foot.

I have seen such a magnificent coastline in Eluanbi and Longpan Park, but the Maobitou side is really nothing, I feel a little sympathetic to the tourists who travel with the group.

When you come to Kenting, it is natural to have intimate contact with the sea on the beach. Baishawan Beach is a well-known beach in Kenting. This is a 100-meter-long beach composed of marine biological shells and fine white and uniform sand grains. It is famous for its white sand and clear water.

Brother Jie took us to see the sunset in Guanshan.

During this trip to Taiwan, I found that there are many temples in Taiwan. Any town or village has temples of different sizes, from Sakyamuni, the Jade Emperor, to Mazu, Guan Shengjun, to the Lord of the Land, the God of Wealth, or Wan Ying, who worships ghosts and ghosts. There are public temples, and each temple is exquisitely shaped.

Guanshan Scenic Area is located in the northernmost section of Wulu Mountain, with the main peak at an altitude of 439.4 meters. It is famous for its beautiful mountains with purple smoke and emerald clouds, clouds and rosy clouds, and unique virgin forests. It has rich species resources and more than 800 kinds of original ecological vegetation. There are more than 250 kinds of Chinese herbal medicine plants and more than 10 kinds of wild forest fruits.

There is a temple on Guanshan——Alpine Rock. Gaoshanyan stands at the highest point of Guanshan at an altitude of 152 meters. The temple sits facing west and facing east. It has a very strange layout. According to legend, the temple has been built for more than 200 years.

On the west side of Gaoshanyan Ford Palace, there is a trail leading to the famous "Fu Ling Turtle". The Fu Ling Turtle is a natural wonder formed by coral reefs; many people travel from the north to the south to make wishes. Come back and tie a red rope to express your gratitude. Over time, the whole turtle stone seems to be a "red striped turtle".

From the square in front of the temple, you can overlook the entire Kenting Peninsula.

When the sun sets, the sea surface is glowing with rays of light, which is uniquely desolate and beautiful.

I came to Hengchun Township to witness "Ajia's Home". Because of the popularity of the movie "Cape No. 7", it was converted into a B&B for fans to visit. The room still retains all the scenes in the movie, even the bed sheets are exactly the same.

Of course, when you come to Hengchun, don’t forget to eat a bowl of special dessert - green beans and garlic.

Come to the last scenic spot of our trip to Kenting - Chuhuo Special Scenic Area, which is a natural scene formed by natural gas stored in mudstone formations bursting from cracks to the surface and ignited, hence the name "Chuhuo". At night, it looks like wildfires, but it is a very distinctive natural landscape. There are different feelings when looking at the fire during the day and at night! It will be more exciting to come here at night, because there are no lights in the park.

On the sixth day, we bid farewell to unrestrained Kenting, and started our journey northward from the southernmost tip of Taiwan to Hualien.

Goodbye Kenting! Kenting Street in the morning is not noisy at night, but I prefer it in the daytime, quiet, sea breeze, locomotives, blue sky and white clouds, and colorful houses. .

There is no direct public transportation from Kenting to Hualien. You have to take a car to Fangliao (1.5 hours), and then take the Taiwan Railway from Fangliao to Hualien (4.5 hours).

Although Fangliao is a small town, it is the end point of Taiwan's famous longitudinal railway and the starting point of the southern circuit railway. It is also known as the gateway of Hengchun and Kenting.

Fangliao is an unplanned place, purely by chance, but the impression left on me is mostly related to literature and art. One minute away from Fangliao Station, you will meet the exhibition space of Fangliao F3 Art and Culture Zone.

Even the rest pavilions on the side of the road are so artistic.

The train ticket from Fangliao to Hualien is the most difficult to book, especially on holidays, because the Tropic of Cancer is on the way, and the scenery is very beautiful. I started grabbing tickets at 0 o'clock on the day when the Taiwan Railway website opened for booking 14 days in advance, and finally got it smoothly. After a few minutes, the Taiwan Railway tickets for this section were fully booked.

Fangliao is a small station. The quaint and clean Fangliao station has only two platforms. The well-managed and orderly old station is more humane than the neatly built new station. Simple and authentic atmosphere can be felt everywhere.

Be sure to sit on the right seat on this train! Because the South Circuit is close to the central mountain range on the left and the Pacific Ocean on the right, it is called "the beauty of the South Circuit". The vast Pacific Ocean is just outside the car window! Along the way, the railway passes through many small seaside railway stations, which can be said to be a must-experience route for train travel enthusiasts. In this way, you can enjoy the scenery of the Western Pacific along the way, with a wide view and beautiful scenery in all seasons. It is the most beautiful railway in Taiwan and a holy place for railway fans. Although I have seen many seas in the mainland, the sea in eastern Taiwan is really beautiful, so beautiful that it makes people want to cry.

In addition to enjoying the beautiful scenery, there is another very important reason to take the Taiwan Railway—to try the delicious and cheap Taiwan Railway Bento. Online guides all talk about eating the famous Chishang bento in Chishang, but our train passing Chishang is not a place to eat, so we tasted the NT80 bento on the train, as shown in the picture above.

Don't look at the ordinary Taiwan Railway from the outside, the implementation is very complete inside.

The ancient railway station has experienced the baptism of the years, and it has been loaded with stories and sorrows and joys of many travelers.

Before we knew it, we had ended the trip on the Southern Circuit and entered the journey on the Taitung Line.

In Hualien, we chose the hotel opposite Hualien Railway Station, so that it is convenient to take the Taiwan Railway when going to Taipei.

After checking into the hotel, it was time to look for food. I didn’t eat the famous Chishang bento, but I made up for the Hualien Chibao bento in Hualien. The taste is very good, especially the rice is very fragrant.

When you come to Taiwan, visiting the night market at night is essential. This time it is the Rainbow Night Market in Hualien, which seems to have just been relocated, so it looks cleaner and more spacious than the night market in Taipei, and it also has dizzying delicacies.

In a good spirit, we also experienced the night view of Hualien Port. Hualien Port is located in the east of Taiwan, facing the Pacific Ocean, and west of the Central Mountain Range. It is the only international port in the east.

Under the sea breeze blowing at night, I feel a little lonely on the island and want to go home.

On the seventh day, charter a car to visit Hualien all day (NT3000 for one day). Odie, the chartered driver in Hualien, made us laugh and laugh all the way, and also left us with many cute looks. He is really dedicated. It is really necessary to charter a car in Hualien. Qingshui Cliff is a tourist attraction that cannot be reached by tourist groups, because buses are not allowed to enter; if you ride by yourself, the risk is too great on such a dangerous Suhua Highway; It would be a pity for Hualien to miss this attraction.

Odie first took us to a private scenic spot near Qingshui Cliff. There were really few people, pebbled beaches, and deep blue water. Really only chartered cars can enjoy this treatment.

We were frolicking on the beach when we turned around to find a train roaring past under the cliffs behind us.

After enjoying the cleanness, we went straight to the most classic scenic spot of Qingshui Cliff.

Passing through the Chongde Grand Tunnel, you can see that the Suhua Highway was built by cutting walls. A groove seems to be carved on the cliff waist hundreds of meters above the sea. Looking at the road from a distance, it looks like a belt wrapped around the waist of a cliff, or a suspended balcony corridor without railings in a high-rise skyscraper. Cars are speeding on it, and if you are not careful, you will roll into the Pacific Ocean hundreds of meters below. The road is a very beautiful but very dangerous road.

Standing on the Suhua Highway and looking at the cars coming out of the tunnel in the distance, one side is the blue and vast Pacific Ocean, and the other side is the cliffs. The scenery is beautiful but also thrilling.

No matter standing on the viewing platform or looking up at the beach along the trail, the Suhua Highway is like an air corridor that cannot reach the sky or descend to the ground. It is inlaid on the ferocious marble cliff. People can't help admiring the magnificence of nature and the courage of human beings who are not afraid of hardships. Traveling along this road, in addition to cliffs and towering mountains and rocks, there are also turbulent waves and shores along the way, and the magnificent scenery of the vast expanse of blue sea can be seen at the same time.

Because there are cliffs on one side of the sea, and mountains and cliffs on the other, if you encounter a typhoon, tsunami, or earthquake landslide, staying on the Suhua Highway is equivalent to booking a high-speed rail ticket to hell in advance, one-way...but this beautiful scenery will never disappoint you. The beauty of Qingshui Cliff cannot be described in words. People in the car sweep the cliffs and volley into the sky, and watch the tide near the sea, which is very thrilling. You may not feel afraid when walking on this road, but when you look back after walking this road, you will realize the danger along the way.

Qingshui Cliff, the cliff where Qingshui Mountain faces the Pacific Ocean, is located in the northern part of Hualien County. It is a large rock cliff connected by the cliffs of Chongde, Qingshui, and Heping Mountains. It stretches for 21 kilometers. The geology is dominated by gneiss and marble. Mainly, it plunges into the Pacific Ocean at a 90-degree angle, with a height of more than 800 meters. The shape of the cliff is like a sheath, the cliff is ten feet high, and the white waves are surging at the foot, which is very steep.

After passing through the Chongde Tunnel, there will be a Chongde Rest Point, which is an excellent location for viewing the Qingshui Cliff, and has a viewing platform near the sea.

Looking at the opposite mountain peak from the high point platform of Qingshui Cliff, the bare parts on the mountain can be seen to be all gneiss and marble; the lower layer is the train track that will pass through the tunnel, and the tunnel has been covered by dense shrubs; The upper layer is the Suhua Highway embedded in the cliff.

Overlooking the cliff, there is a vast expanse of blue waves.

Looking down, the waves are turbulent and breathtaking.

Good times are always short, we have to say goodbye to this beauty!

At noon, Odie took us to eat beef noodles. I really felt the integrity of the Taiwanese people in business. They made such delicious and cheap food in a small roadside shop surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Look, the ingredients are enough, the beef noodles are added with pig feet, and two cold dishes, it seems that the total does not exceed RMB 100.

After drinking the strong man's wine, advance to the thrilling Taroko in the afternoon. , "Taroko National Park" is one of the earliest national parks in Taiwan, located in eastern Taiwan, across Hualien County, Taichung County, and Nantou County. There is Taiwan's first east-west highway passing through the park, known as the Zhongheng Highway System.

Taroko Scenic Area is famous for its majestic and nearly vertical marble rock canyon landscape, with quiet scenery, "Luge Youxia" is listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Taiwan. Taroko National Park is characterized by canyons and cliffs. In addition, the high mountains in the park preserve many relics of the Ice Age, such as salamander fish. Taroko has also become the train name of Taiwan Railway. Its main buildings include Changchun Temple, Yanzikou, Jinheng Park, Jiuqu Cave, Cimu Bridge, and Tianxiang; the main natural landscapes include Zhuilu Cliff, Liufang Bridge, Dayuling, Buluo Bay, Shakayu Trail, Lushui Confluence Trail, Qingshui Cliff Trail, Baiyang Trail, Huoran Pavilion Trail, Lianhuachi Trail, Golden Canyon.

The entire Taroko National Park is most famous for its high mountains and valleys, especially the Liwu Valley along the central crossing highway from Taroko to Tianxiang. Both sides are full of marble rock formations, which shows the difficulty of development! Shakayu, Changchun Temple, Yanzikou, Baiyang Trail, Cimu Bridge, Lushui and Tianxiang are several alighting points of Taroko, where you can experience the natural scenery on foot.

Taroko's highway faces water on one side and leans on cliffs on the other. It is only more dangerous than the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. The danger of Taroko is not the narrow road, but the overwhelming mountain. For a large proportion of the road, the cliff is just above the head. It seems that there is no road at all, and a road is carved out of the cliff. Therefore, before entering the park, visitors must collect helmets.

Odie led us to Taroko!

Yanzikou refers to the wonders of countless small caves on the cliffs of Dalichi Canyon about 500 meters away from Jinheng Park on Zhongheng Highway. The formation of these landscapes is because the rock on the cliff is metamorphic limestone, and the flowing water erodes along the limestone rock layer, eventually forming many small caves. Over time, swallows in the valley nest and live among them, forming the "Hundred Swallows Singing Valley" Because of this wonderful scene, it has the name of Yanzikou. Now the swallows have been startled away by the sound of cars and people, leaving only empty nests, but the steep and strange rocks and cold mountain wind here always leave a deep impression on tourists.

The mountain is not only oppressive, but what is even more frightening is that the rocks seem to be falling, and they are full of cracks. You don't know when they will come to a free fall. But walking under such a stone is still frightening. Sometimes I move one step at a time, and sometimes I run quickly. It takes a lot of courage to pass through such a cave.

The marble cliffs on both sides of the river were eroded into many small holes under the action of flowing water.

The higher the terrain, the more dangerous the cliff gorge, the more strange it is, the suspension bridge between the two canyons.

small cave in canyon cliff

There are many small caves on the cliffs of the canyon, and there are gurgling streams in the depths of the canyon.

Overlook the cave we braved through

Walking along the "Liwu River" canyon scenery line, you can see cliffs, cliffs, canyons, continuous and tortuous cave tunnels, Dali rock formations and streams as far as you can see.

Zhongheng Road crosses mountains and ridges and passes countless bridges, but Cimu Bridge, located at the confluence of Liwu River and Laoxi River, is the only marble bridge in the province. The Cimu Bridge is designed in a traditional Chinese style with a giant lion sitting on the town. The Cimu Bridge is deeply appreciated by Chinese and foreign tourists. The origin of its name is that after a young man was washed away here by the flood, his mother still looked forward to his son's early return here every day. After being deeply moved, people named this bridge "Mother Bridge".

On the east side of the bridge is the "Mother Pavilion" built by Chiang Kai-shek in memory of Mrs. Wang Tai, his loving mother.

On the Cimu Bridge, you can see the vehicles coming against the cliff in the distance. The river bed under the bridge is full of marble rock walls, and the nearby streams are green with green cliffs and confused trees.

Look at the nearby Marble Canyon from the Cimu Bridge.

The Green Water Trail is also known as the "Green Water Confluence Trail". During the Japanese occupation period, it was opened as a mountain road for transporting supplies. It not only overlooks the beautiful scenery of the Taroko Gorge, but also has a rich ecology along the route. The Taroko Park Management Office classified it as a landscape trail. , suitable for the whole family to travel. The whole slope is gentle, and you can enjoy cliffs and river terraces along the way. There are also low- and middle-altitude broad-leaved forests, rock plants, and cultural and historical sites in the surrounding area.

Yantu is a green tree-lined trail. The first thing you will see is a small suspension bridge. This is a relatively primitive trail. The scenery is very beautiful. The small bridge is surrounded by green water and mountains. There are not too many tourists here. Walking around is very quiet.

As I walked, I realized that the roads are flat, but they are all sandy and gravel roads, which are very narrow and walk through the forests and mountains.

Walking through the mountains and forests and walking along the cliffside trails, you will suddenly see the gorge of Taroko. Looking down from the cliff, you can have a panoramic view of the canyon and the road. It turned out that we were really standing on the edge of a narrow cliff!

It takes 5 minutes by car from the Lushui Trail to arrive at Tianxiang, a tourist attraction with the highest reputation on Zhongheng Road. Tianxiang is located at the confluence of Dasha River and Taosai River, a tributary of Liwu River. It is an open river terrace. It is located at the west end of Taroko Gorge. It has beautiful scenery and pleasant climate. It is a very popular place along the Zhongheng Highway. In the scenic area, Fuyuan and Meiyuan are two small parks before entering Tianxiang. You can cross the Zhihui Bridge from the highway and pass through the Pudu Bridge to reach the Xiangde Temple on the opposite bank. Standing on the top of the mountain, the goal is very obvious, and there is a seven-level Tianfeng Pagoda nearby. After experiencing the tense and thrilling journey of the dangerous cliffs of the canyon, the relaxed and happy feeling of coming to this small mountain village with a bright view can only be compared with the surprise when you suddenly see the beautiful Sun Moon Lake after crossing thousands of mountains.

There is also a Yuewang Pavilion, which commemorates Yue Fei.

The point is that there is a suspension bridge here. For safety reasons, up to eight people can go on it at a time.

Most of the team's carts can only drive as far as Changchun Temple, and it is really difficult to drive further inside. The ornamental value of Changchun Temple will be greatly reduced, because there are too many people, so Odie put this scenic spot at the end, a little later, and the flow of people is relatively less.

The Changchun Temple, located between the green mountains and green waters, was built to commemorate more than 200 veterans who died in the construction of the Zhongheng Highway. You can come to the ancestral hall after crossing the red Changchun Bridge across the valley.

The Tang-style Changchun Temple is embedded in the mountain wall according to the terrain and stands under the cliff. It is exquisite and solemn. The fresh spring water gushes out from the mountain wall, forming a waterfall that cascades down all year round, forming the "Changchun Waterfall". , is a grand scene of Zhongheng Highway.

The cliffs and deep valleys of Taroko, the flying waterfalls near the sky, the clear streams, the scenery is beyond ordinary, and the feeling of being one with the sky and the earth is really wonderful.

Reluctant to give up, really reluctant to give up, but still rushed to the last scenic spot in Hualien - Chihsingtan, there is no "tan", but a bay with a beautiful arc, the coast is not a sandy beach but a pebble beach; Overlooking the lush green hills and stretching roads.

Although Qixingtan is well-known, compared with the private beach spots near Qingshui Cliff that Odie took us to in the morning, there are many people, a bit dirty, and the beauty is reduced. So I am very grateful to Odie for his company on this day, which made our trip to Hualien much more exciting. Goodbye Odie, see you soon.

Day 8 Return to Taipei by Taiwan Railway from Hualien.

Fly to Beijing from Taoyuan Airport in the afternoon, only then can I stroll around leisurely.

 Goodbye, Taipei!
