Start New Year's travel plan
After consulting various guides, we finally chose a small treasure campground 3 hours away from Pu'er - the top of Baima Mountain in Jinggu Dai and Yi Autonomous County, Yunnan. The scenery along the way is beautiful, and I have not been willing to rest too much on the road. I officially arrived at the camp around 2 pm.

Because the people traveling with us are all girls, we didn't bring too much heavy equipment, but fortunately, we have everything in the camp. The Xikang Yunshe on the top of Baima Mountain has a large area of lawn, canopy, tents and barbecue sites. The price is not very expensive, and the staff is super nice. They took the initiative to help us set up the canopy and tent.
Although it is deep winter, there are still thousands of trees growing and lush here. Ignoring more tidying up, the few of us started the crazy photo mode. Next to the campsite is the beautiful cliff photo spot of Baima Mountain, where you can have a panoramic view of the entire scenic spot. As the sun goes down, there are vivid ink paintings in front of you, mountain wonders, cosmic epics, boulders and cliffs... No need for filters, just take a picture and it will be a blockbuster.
This place is also known as the "Martian Tribe". As far as the eye can see, there are forests and mountains and the mottled fiery red "surface of Mars". Everything is so unreal, and I thought I accidentally broke into outer space. There is also an oversized cliff infinity pool, which is also very popular. At dusk, the sunset glows, forget your worries in the mountains and cliffs, and feel the infinite charm of the universe.
No first camping trip in 2023 without BBQ beer! Having fun on the super-large lawn, the meat on the stove is overflowing, sizzling, and the atmosphere is full! Here you can also free your hands and lie flat. In addition to the basic version of barbecue configuration, the camp also has local specialties such as grilled fish, grilled eggs and various skewers. Conquer, add some beer to add to the fun, and suddenly feel that life is worth it! Of course, if you want to order separately, it is also possible.
There are always endless topics to talk about at the sisters' gatherings. Before you know it, night falls, and you can see a little bit of starlight when you look up, which is extremely romantic. Talking heartily after drinking, paired with an open-air movie under the stars, completely put aside the troubles and pressure on the body, and enjoy the free healing time, even the stars and the moon also bring a gentle taste. In an environment without light pollution, the sky full of stars brings a sense of happiness, how I wish time would stop here. Being able to breathe with nature and dream with the stars and moon is really a life without regrets!

Early the next morning, we gradually woke up with the sound of insects and the breeze. Unexpectedly, I encountered the biggest surprise in the journey - the sea of clouds at the sunrise of Baima Mountain. It was just dawn, and the clouds and mist on the top of the mountain wrapped around the mountain peak, and the layered sea of clouds spread out little by little with bunches of light, as if being on the shore of the sea, which made people feel refreshed instantly. I can't help but sigh at the beginning of 2023. We are so lucky to be able to leave the busy city for a while, calm down, get close to nature, breathe fresh air, and find different fun with our sisters. This trip is really worthwhile! Although this camping trip was short, it allowed us to see the most beautiful side of the world...
