DAY8: Sanchakou Culvert--Marley Town

Yesterday I climbed Langla Mountain at an altitude of 4,572 meters. My friend Shuting told me there was a song called Langla Mountain Love. I found it to be composed and sung by Han Hong. If I listened to it when I was basking in the sun What a wonderful moment that will be.

After camping and falling asleep last night, I didn’t hang up any extra bills. I was awakened by the dazzling light in the middle of the night. I instinctively turned over and sat up, groping for the dog-beating stick at hand. What is such a dazzling light? Has anyone found me in the culvert with a flashlight?

After I put on my glasses and got used to the bright light, I found that the dark clouds had dissipated at some point. At this time, the moon was facing the culvert entrance. I opened the zipper on the tent and stretched out my hand. I couldn't feel a trace of wind blowing, and the surrounding was completely silent.

The cool moonlight shines on the palm of the hand, and with the movement of the fingers, it seems to stir the water flow. Does this mean that the moonlight is like water...

After a while the moon got into the clouds, and then lay down again and got into the sleeping bag.

In the morning, the sun shines from behind, riding on the empty road, ushering in a new day.

After riding for about two hours, I came to Guoqing Township and saw restaurants and supermarkets on the side of the road. The most convenient and fastest choice is fried rice. I asked the proprietress to add more rice. I sat at the big round table alone and ate happily. ;

It was the first time I went to a restaurant to eat after coming out of Qamdo, and there were not many supplies left in the bag. Before leaving, I went around the supermarket next door and found that there was nothing to buy. I seldom eat bread and always feel hungry, so I went Not to mention Snickers bars, haven't bought those on the road.

Eight-treasure porridge is a good choice. Climbing and sweating can not only replenish salt, but also fill the stomach.

Eat and drink enough and continue to move forward, passing the 2nd and 3rd classes of Provincial Highway 303. Now the Provincial Highway has been upgraded to National Highway 349, and the milestones are no longer carved in stone. The whole road is asphalt.

The bustle of the past has gone, the house standing in front of the road is full of weeds, the glass on the windows has disappeared, and the roof tiles have been removed for some reason, revealing pieces of twisted iron sheets, like dead livestock , only the skeleton remains.

The hillside on the opposite side of the 3rd class is full of strange rocks, the eagle hovers above the head, and the sand and rocks roll down when the wind blows, which makes people feel a little creepy...

After a few bends in the afternoon, the altitude continued to climb, and the pass was nowhere to be seen. The sky above was covered by dark clouds, and the rain followed. This has become a standard configuration for mountain climbing.

From the complaints at the beginning to now I'm getting used to it, and I feel strange if it doesn't rain.

Fortunately, after climbing to the top of the mountain, the showers have passed, and the 5,220-meter road sign on the old road pass still stands in the wind, but there are few vehicles passing by. Instead, a new road with a changed direction is replaced, and the altitude is not so exaggerated. up.

Sitting on the pass and resting, the vegetation along the way is sparse and belongs to the alpine meadow terrain. Through the telescope, I can see the other side of the mountain I am going to. It is lush and green, and there are two worlds separated by one mountain. I am full of expectations for the next journey.

The road down the mountain is winding and luxuriant, and it is easy to walk 20 steps to Bushu Village.

Bushu means "forest ditch" in Tibetan, surrounded by forests, known as the east gate of Luolong County. The gatehouse with Tibetan characteristics is particularly eye-catching. I went in and turned around and didn’t see anyone. Otherwise, I can visit it. By the way, I can verify what is said in the news: all the houses in the small Tibetan villas have wooden floors, and each house has 1 to 2 a separate bathroom.

Since July 2016, Fujian’s counterpart assistance to Tibet has been adjusted from Nyingchi, the “South of Tibet” to Qamdo, the “Snowy Plateau”, and a total of 11 well-off villages have been built in 4 counties of Qamdo Basu, Zuogong, Lorong, and Bianba. Demonstration village; In July 2019, the eighth batch of Fujian Provincial Aid to Tibet Task Force is about to complete its three-year aid mission to Tibet and return to Fujian.

Before leaving Bushu Village, I bought water at the roadside canteen. I learned that there were still nearly 40 kilometers away from the next accommodation. It was 5:00 pm at this time. I checked the computer and had already ridden 70 kilometers today. The boss said that the road was all downhill. It takes half an hour to ride a motorcycle.

The sun is still high and the weather is good. I think I should be able to arrive before dark, and I can stay in the hotel for a hot meal at night.

There is a sign on the side of the road: You have entered the macaque activity area. Because I saw macaques when passing through the Baizha Forest Farm, I wanted to pass slowly so as not to disturb the monkeys. I looked around and rode for a while and did not see monkey hair. They all went back to their nests.

I didn’t meet macaques, but I was taken aback by the falling rocks on the hillside. I looked up and saw three animals with long horns climbing up and down. They can climb up and down freely in this environment. There is no one except blue sheep. In the blink of an eye, these elves jumped over the steep slope and disappeared behind the stone...

In recent years, with the strengthening of ecological protection in Tibet, the number of blue sheep has continued to increase.

Most of them are concentrated in the bare rock areas of high mountains at an altitude of three to five kilometers. They have strong cold resistance and first-class climbing ability. They are the main food for animals such as snow leopards and wolves.

Near the town of Marley, there is an uphill sign on the side of the road, which is really not good. Seeing the last bit of sunlight passing over the hill, I am the only one left in the quiet valley. Pedaling the wheel in a circle...
