I visited the ancient buildings in Zhengding County, and spent three days in Zhengding County. Zhengding County is not far from Shijiazhuang City. It takes less than 50 yuan to take a taxi from Shijiazhuang to the urban area of Zhengding County by taking the high speed. Although Zhengding County is only a county seat, it has a famous name in ancient times. It is an ancient city with a history of thousands of years. In ancient times, it was also known as Zhending, and Baoding and Beijing belonged to the "Northern Sanxiong Town" at that time, and now there are still city walls, gate towers and earthen walls. However, before he was called Zhending, he was also known as Changshan, which is the hometown of Zhao Yun as everyone knows. When I was a child, I heard "I am Changshan Zhao Zilong". At present, there is still a Zhao Yun Temple in Zhengding County, but it is a pity that it was built by later generations.
Zhengding has a theory of nine floors, four towers, and twenty-four gold medallions. Nine floors refer to four gate towers, four corner towers, and Yanghe Tower.
The four pagodas are: Huata (Guanghui Temple), Chengling Pagoda (Linji Temple), Xumi Pagoda (Kaiyuan Temple), Lingxiao Pagoda (Tianning Temple)

Twenty-Four Gold Arches: Some say the arches in Zhengding City, others say that the twenty-four gold arches can be found in the Mani Hall of Longxing Temple if you look up at the Buddha statue.
The four pagodas are still there, and the Bada Temple is still relatively complete, including Longxing Temple and Linji Temple, both of which are included in this itinerary.
When you come to Zhengding County, you must come to Longxing Temple. Those who have seriously enjoyed Longxing Temple will definitely feel that this trip is worthwhile. The style of Longxing Temple in Zhengding County is very different from the temples we usually see in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Because it belongs to the thousand-year-old temple, it began in the Sui Dynasty, flourished in the Tang Dynasty, and reached its peak in the Song Dynasty. The current buildings are mainly Song Dynasty buildings, which are rare in China. The name of the overall temple structure is also very different. It is different from the familiar Daxiong Hall and Sutra Pavilion, but Mani Hall and Pilu Hall. In particular, there are many treasures in Longxing Temple (the Mani Hall in the Song Dynasty praised by Mr. Liang Sicheng, the inverted Avalokitesvara, which is praised by Mr. Lu Xun as the God of Oriental beauty, and one of the three northern altars dedicated to the double-faced Buddha. The altar of precepts, the first stele of the Sui Dynasty, the largest wheel collection in ancient China, the largest bronze Buddha statue, the bronze thousand Buddhas cast by Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty for the empress dowager, statues carved from whole wood, etc.), are very impressive. I am impressed with Zhengding. By the way, Zhengding Longxing Temple is currently under the protection of cultural relics and has no religious functions. In fact, several ancient temple pagodas on the Zhengding joint ticket have lost their religious functions. Currently, the only Linji Temple with religious functions is a free area. .
