foreword

There is no doubt that Yunnan is a place talked about by many backpackers and travel enthusiasts. As an "old man" in the travel industry who is in his 20s and has 10 years of backpacking experience, he is still a little happy to mention Yunnan.

After all, the travel destination that was amazed by the scenery and humanities during the journey for the first time was Yunnan. It's just that I went to northern Yunnan (Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La, etc.) before. After that, I went to Yunnan several times one after another, but they were all on the northern route. To be precise, this is the first time I have traveled to a place in the south or southwest of Yunnan.

Originally, I chose to fly from Nanchang to Guiyang, and then from Guiyang to Tengchong. Unfortunately, I encountered the first flight cancellation in ten years of travel, which is also an experience. So, I returned to Kunming again, and after taking the high-speed rail to Dali, Dali arrived in Tengchong by bus. I feel that this journey is quite interesting, and I met many lovely people along the way.

This is the B&B I stayed in after arriving in Tengchong - Bennu B&B. It is in the well-known Heshun Ancient Town, with a great view, and I feel that I have chosen a very good place to stay.

Quietly feel the time of the afternoon at the B&B, and brush off the exhaustion. Let me sort out for you what the Tengchong line looks like:

1. Airplane: Tengchong has planes flying to Guiyang, Kunming, Nanning, Xi'an and other places. Other places can choose to transit in these places. If there is a direct flight, you can choose to fly directly, or transit in the nearest Guiyang and Kunming; you can also fly to Baoshan and take Go by bus (about 3 hours by bus).

2. Train and bus: At present, the nearest railway station to Tengchong is Dali Station. You can take a bus to Dali after arriving (about 5 hours by bus); or take a bus from Kunming to arrive in 11 hours, which is a little harder.

Of course, if the railway is repaired in the future, the traffic will be much more convenient. At that time, you can take the high-speed rail directly from Kunming. Because the tunnel in the Hengduan Mountains is difficult, it took some time. I look forward to the day when the tunnel is opened...

It is a very pleasant thing to watch the sunset and sunset at the Benno B&B where we stayed.

It may be because of the actual time difference that the sunset here does not start until after 8 o'clock. Walking in the alleys of Heshun Ancient Town, looking for the backs of many tourists here. In the following itinerary, I will take everyone to visit this border town.

Waiting for the sunset, waiting for a sweet dream!

1. In the National Volcanic Geological Park, "witness" the grand occasion of the "eruption" of the volcano

In the early morning of the next day, accompanied by the staff of Bennu B&B, we went to the first stop of our trip to Tengchong: Tengchong National Volcanic Geological Park. We saw Heshun Ancient Town from another direction along the way, and it still looks charming... …

After more than 40 minutes, we arrived at Tengchong Volcanic Geopark, which is one of the four major volcanic groups in my country, with a total of 97 Cenozoic volcanic piles. The entire volcanic group covers an area of more than 220 square kilometers.

As soon as you enter the gate of the Volcano Park, there is a Volcanic Geology Museum with a rich collection and a lot of dry goods. A group of large-scale objects with volcanic geological characteristics are arranged in the outdoor exhibition hall, such as columnar joints, etc., and the 23 well-preserved volcanoes in the Tengchong area are concentrated and arranged around the museum in proportion.

The special geological structure has formed a strange volcanic landform of "ten mountains and nine without heads". Volcanic cones, volcanic lava caves, lava rocks, volcanic lakes, barrier waterfalls, and columnar joints are large in scale, concentrated in distribution, diverse in type, and well preserved. Its scale and integrity rank first in the country, and it has high scientific research and ornamental value, and is known as the "Volcano Geological Museum".

The Volcanic National Park in Tengchong is centered on the volcanic representative mountains of Dakong, Xiaokong and Heikong, and its scope includes the entire volcanic group, lava landform and volcanic columnar joints in the Longjiang Canyon.

Not only is the scenery beautiful here, but there are also outdoor projects such as aircraft, hot air balloons and horseback riding, one-stop experience, can't stop...

The first phase of the park completed the main development of Dakong Mountain, determined the scope of protection, made scientific development and utilization on the basis of protection, and built a unique volcano park.

According to the needs of popular science education, the development of tourism and the increase of tourists, it is necessary to improve the facilities of the popular science education base and rebuild a new, larger-scale park-like museum.

According to the characteristics of different ages, different geological structures, different shapes, and different vegetation types, the indoor museums and outdoor parks here can reproduce the volcanic wonders, allowing tourists to experience the scene of volcanic eruption and geothermal formation. It will give an all-round introduction to volcanoes, reveal the natural phenomena of volcanic eruptions, popularize geological knowledge, and enable people to understand the impact of volcanic eruptions on human beings and the natural environment.

In order to find out the true nature of the volcano, we climbed up Xiaokong Mountain and saw the real dormant volcano. Although the crater is still sunken, it has been covered with grass after years of baptism.

Xiaokong Mountain and Dakong Mountain are two very famous volcanoes in Tengchong, which are adjacent to Dakong Mountain. Because Tengchong is located on the junction line of the sharp convergence of the Indian plate and the Eurasian plate, the underground faults are very developed and the magma activity is also very intense.

Looking out from Xiaokong Mountain, the lawn is dotted with red Bougainvillea. This scene is very charming!

After going down the mountain, go to the market at the foot of the mountain. Exquisite handicrafts are a good gift for friends. As for the gambling stone in the picture below, everyone should treat it rationally.

Gambling stone means that when the jadeite is mined, it is covered with a layer of weathered skin. It is impossible to know whether it is good or bad. The quality of the jadeite can only be known after cutting. The name of the early stage of stone gambling is not called stone gambling, but a gambling shop. The stone gambling masters must have: first, great challenge ability, second, adventurous spirit, and third, rich experience. I have seen people who get rich overnight in the stone gambling market, and of course it does not rule out that they go bankrupt overnight, so everyone should be rational!

On the contrary, you can choose some of these containers and small balls made of volcanic ash and volcanic stone, or use them yourself, or give them away, they are all very good.

I saw a new thing in the Volcano Museum called columnar joints, so we went to a viewing platform just to see the columnar joints to see this spectacular sight.

During a volcanic eruption, the magma inside the volcano overflows, but at the same time the external magma cools and consolidates into magma to prevent the overflow of the lower magma. If the lower magma accumulates more pressure than the overlying magma can withstand, it can break through the externally cooled magma and Continue to overflow, when the pressure of the magma below is insufficient, the magma will stay in the volcanic channel and slowly cool down. During this condensation process, columnar joints and isothermal surfaces develop.

Buy some local products, take a lot of dry goods you have learned, and leave with a full load...

2. Xidong Garden, listen to the legendary stories here

There is a Xidong town 9 kilometers away from Tengchong County, Yunnan. Most of the people here are surnamed Dong. "Official Village" has a history of more than 300 years.

At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, Tengchong, known as the "No. 1 city on the edge of the pole", gathered merchants and shops, and there emerged five famous shopping malls, "Dongdong, Xidong, Nanliu, Beideng, and Wanlouzi". Among them, the richest "Xidong" refers to the director family of Dongguan Village, which is now near the Xidong Courtyard (Xidong Garden).

Dongguan is a rare place of geomantic omen. The village is backed by Ma'anshan with lush forests. The village, the surrounding natural mountains, forests, water systems, and Bazi countryside form an idyllic beauty of "green mountains in the distance, fireworks near the village, flowing water around the village, and thousands of acres of fields". It is also an ancient village with a long history and rich culture, so there is another name called "Little Taoyuan".

"Xi Dong Courtyard" was originally a great family. From the end of the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, they opened more than a dozen large companies, engaged in jewelry, mining, spinning and transnational trade. They were the emerald kings and textile kings in the southwest, and they were patriotic businessmen. , donated aircraft during the Anti-Japanese War.

Now the Xidong compound is open to tourists, who can visit at will without collecting tickets. It also operates Tengchong specialties in the ancient house, and has become a place for tourists to Tengchong to call.

At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, the Dong family brothers began to travel to Myanmar to do business, and established a number of transnational and inter-provincial firms represented by "Maoheng" and "Xinji". It was an important town on the southern Silk Road. Later, the Dong brothers returned to their hometown to build a large-scale construction project and built the Xidong architectural complex, which established the basic layout of Dongguan Village.

When it comes to the West Dong compound, one has to mention the Dong brothers and Mr. Dong Nanxuan. The third master and the fifth master of Xi Dong are good at doing business and making money. They make the Dong family gold into bundles, silver into warehouses, cattle and horses into clumps, and hundreds of miles of mountains, forests and fields. big family. Master Dong Liu is a good envoy of the Dong family. He distributed some of Dong's family's money and goods to the urgently needed people and urgently needed things.

Although the sixth master has never been in business in his life, he is a good housekeeper and financial manager. He can spend the Dong family's countless money just right: buying fields, buying land, buying mountains, building roads and bridges, helping the poor, disaster relief, donations, etc. National disasters, donating to the national government to buy planes to fight against Japan... The sixth master took care of these good deeds in a very orderly manner, making the Dong family rich and benevolent.

The gunholes on these walls were built to guard against bandits. After the 54th Army headquarters was stationed, this was where the guard battalion guarded the place, with machine guns and other firepower deployed. At that time, the Dong family was heavily guarded. It is military information and orders, and this is the base camp for Guangfu to attack Tengchong.

Walking in the wide and narrow alleys of Dongguan Village is like walking in the old and new times, making people grow while remembering. I like to walk along the row of soil foundation walls at the entrance of Xidong Garden, feeling the atmosphere and simplicity of time.

And the caravan culture here is also worthy of special mention.

With the changes of the times, the trade function carried by the ancient tea-horse road has long been replaced by the modern road network, but it has left behind a rich human history and moving stories of caravans.

And Xidong Courtyard also has a place where tourists can stop, where they can watch and learn about jadeite and jade culture.

Jadeite is known as the "Oriental Treasure". Now the old house of Dong Nanxuan, the sixth master of Xidong Courtyard, is a place that integrates jadeite mining, processing and management, and inherits and promotes the centuries-old merchant culture and jadeite culture of the Dong family.. ...

As the saying goes, "a gentleman is like jade" and "gentle as jade", it means that a gentleman should be like jade, gentle, graceful, open-minded and unrestrained...

A trip to Xidong compound is like taking a history class and geography class, and also learned some jade culture, but the jade culture is extensive and profound, and I will do some discussion below!

3. The world's rare geothermal heat and hot springs, Atami is undoubtedly the leader

There is a famous scenic spot and leisure place in Tengchong called Rehai Scenic Area. There are more than 80 large gas springs and hot spring groups here, of which 10 hot spring groups have water temperatures above 90°C, and hot springs can be seen everywhere.

There are many places with hot springs in the world, but it is rare to have such a large area and so many springs as Tengchong Rehai.

Surrounded by green hills and turbulent water, it starts from Sulphur Pond in the north, Songshan Qing in the south, Zhongxiao Temple in the east, and Banana Garden in the west. Within an area of about 9 square kilometers, there are various types of geothermal landscapes. At present, more than ten scenic spots have been developed, including the Big and Small Rolling Pot, Hamazui, Beauty Pond, Lion Head, Pearl Spring, Guming Spring, Pregnancy Well, Immortal Bathhouse and Bathhouse River Waterfall.

These hot springs and steam springs can be divided into carbonic acid springs, sulfuric springs, and sulfuric acid springs according to their chemical characteristics. In the carbonic acid and sulfuric spring area, the vegetation is lush and green; while the sulfuric acid spring area is steaming, with hissing noises everywhere, the sand and gravel on the surface are bare, and no grass grows. People dare not set foot in it, which has become a natural "forbidden zone".

The hot sea area has a warm climate, fresh air and mineral springs that are clear and clean, containing a variety of trace elements that are beneficial to the human body, and have unique curative effects on dozens of diseases such as rheumatism, bone hyperplasia, stroke sequelae, and skin diseases.

The most spectacular "big rolling pot" in the hot sea is shaped like a gossip, and the water temperature can reach up to 97 ℃. Approaching the "big rolling pot", you can feel that the soles of your feet are already hot, and the clear water in the pool is turning sharply, jumping out of the water surface for about a foot, forming a huge splash. Because the water temperature is high enough, the locals put corn, eggs, and peanuts into the pot to cook. Raw eggs can be cooked in five minutes. Other foods are also available immediately, which has a unique flavor

In Tengchong, volcanic and geothermal heat is accompanied by a large scale, which is rare in China. There are also a large number of magical and beautiful natural landscapes such as Beihai Wetland, Yunfeng Mountain, Laifeng Mountain National Forest Park and Gaoligong Mountain.

After feeling the temperature outside, it is very pleasant to experience the pure natural hot spring here.

The hot springs in Tengchong are formed by the magma action inside the earth's crust, or accompanied by volcanic eruptions. The dormant volcanic terrain areas that have been volcanically active, the surface uplifted by the movement of the crustal plates, and the uncooled magma under the ground will all Continuously release a large amount of heat energy. Due to the heat concentration of this type of heat source, as long as there are pores in the nearby water-bearing rock formation, it will not only be heated to become high-temperature hot water, but most of it will boil into steam.

Hot spring hot bath can relax muscles and joints and achieve the function of eliminating fatigue. It can also dilate blood vessels, promote blood circulation, and accelerate metabolism. During the journey, there is such a way of leisure and recuperation, which is something that can find a new meaning of travel!

TIPS: There is a dedicated tourist bus to Atami, the fare is 5 yuan, or you can charter a car, 60 yuan for a round trip. In addition, to visit the Tengchong volcanic group and geothermal landscape, there is a direct tourist bus, and you can take a minibus to and from Tengchong County from morning to night every day.

4. Encounter, a unique lecture on jade culture

After a day's play outside, I was a little tired, and returning to the Benno Inn where we stayed was like returning home. This little excitement and sense of belonging may only be clearly known by personal experience.

This warm lighting gives people a sense of warm atmosphere, and when you fall down, you have a sweet dream...

After waking up, I read the book and learned more about the human geography of Tengchong, and also had some superficial understanding of the local jade culture.

Tengchong, which is backed by Gaoligong Mountain, and Bennuo B&B in Heshun Ancient Town, also provide mineral water from alpine springs, pure natural healthy drinks.

Coincidentally, I just started to be curious about jade culture, and a special lecture on jade culture was held downstairs in the hotel, and everything was just right.

With the kindness of the staff, we sat around together, began to accept a cultural baptism, made a small live broadcast, and wanted to pass on the cultural atmosphere here to more people.

Everyone listened carefully. The speaker gave a wonderful explanation on how to know jade, how to identify jade, how to avoid traps, betting on stones, and the relationship between jade culture and Tengchong.

As early as 500 years ago, merchants in Tengchong pioneered jadeite processing. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, a large number of people from Tengchong went to Myanmar to "go to the factory", which greatly increased the output of jade in Myanmar and brought about the prosperity of the jadeite trade. At that time, the line from Yongchang, Tengchong to Myitkyina in Myanmar was once known as "Jade Road" and "Baojing Road".

Due to the unique geographical location of Tengchong, which is only 358 kilometers away from the jade producing area, Tengchong has almost become the only channel for Burmese jadeite to enter China in a long historical period, and the jade trading volume accounts for almost 90% of the world's total. Tengchong jadeware is a famous handicraft in Yunnan. It uses jade as raw material and has a wide variety, exquisite workmanship and good shape and color.

From raw stones to finished jade products, vividly restore the butterfly transformation of jade and emerald. Jade can't be cut, and people don't learn and don't know. This time, through observation and study, I have come into close contact with the mysterious stone gambling culture...

I feel like I lived in a homestay in Tengchong, and I also took a vivid jade culture class for free, which is also very worthwhile!

5. Heshun Ancient Town, the place where the heart misses

There may be an ancient town in every place, and many ancient towns in Yunnan are famous far and wide. Like Dali and Lijiang, there are ancient towns, but Tengchong’s Heshun Ancient Town retains more original features, perhaps because of its originality, it will attract tourists who are willing to feel the true meaning of the journey...

The ancient town of Heshun was renamed "Heshun" because a small river went around the village. Later, it took the meaning of "Shihe Minshun" and elegantly changed it to its current name. It is now called Heshun Town.

Heshun Ancient Town, with its closed, traditional and stable environment, completely retains the characteristics of Chinese Ming and Qing culture, and is known as a living fossil of ancient Chinese architecture.

Although Heshun Ancient Town is opening inns for construction, the moment you walk into Heshun Ancient Town, it still looks quiet and peaceful, without any noise.

It used to be an important town of caravans and a necessary place for the ancient "Southwest Silk Road". Various foreign cultures blended here, but despite these auras, Heshun still maintains its simple and simple style.

Most of the local Han people are descendants of Sichuanese, Jiangnan people, and Central Plains people who came to Yunnan in the early Ming Dynasty to work in military and civilian settlements. In the fifteenth year of Ming Hongwu (AD 1382), "Lan Yu and Mu Ying attacked Dali, and divided their troops into Heqing, Lijiang, and Jinchi."

Heshuncun, Li, Yin, Liu, and Jia, with five surnames, were originally from Baxian County, Chongqing Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Their ancestors were ordered to follow Fu Youde, Lan Yu, Mu Yingzheng Jinchi and Teng Vietnam at this time. Things are flat, the garrison leaps over, and they are all awarded with military merits.

The people here are deeply influenced by Confucianism, and some of them have high cultural quality. Although they are forced by life, their background is away from home, and they are located on the extreme edge of the plateau. However, the harmonious village style, residential buildings, and folk crafts all infiltrate and preserve the Central Plains. At the same time, it is an "extroverted" society. The wanderers absorbed the essence of foreign cultures, exchanged and integrated with traditional local cultures, and created a regional culture with harmonious characteristics.

Heshun has the characteristics of a general small town, traditional small town architecture, and simple people. However, there are more than 600 years of history and culture here, and there are traditional dwellings that have undergone many vicissitudes. It is understood that there are more than 1,000 traditional dwellings here, including more than 100 Qing Dynasty dwellings, which are known as living fossils of ancient Chinese architecture.

Its architectural styles include "three squares and one screen wall", "siheyuan", "four-in-five patios", etc. Here you can appreciate the charm of Huizhou architecture with white walls and black tiles, and you can also find elements of Western architecture.

Especially the door and window wood carvings of the old house, all kinds of carvings are lifelike. What is particularly characteristic of the region in the house is the stone steps piled up with volcanic stones, which can play a good anti-skid role in rainy weather.

The Heshun Library is one of the largest rural libraries in China. It was established by overseas Chinese in 1924. It is a traditional Chinese building with a garden in front, beautiful and elegant. precious.

Walking into Heshun, we can see a picturesque scenery in front of us, with beautiful mountains and clear waters, weeping willows and green shadows. "The mountains in the distance are vast, the rivers near the water are melodious, and the slopes of thousands of families are under the hills.

Heshun is the largest hometown of overseas Chinese in Southwest China. The villagers here began to "travel to barbarians" more than 400 years ago. Since Heshun is only 70 kilometers away from Myanmar, there are the most people who go there to do jade business. There are also those who have gone to India, the United States, and Canada. There are eight ancestral halls in the township, all of which have different styles.

Continue to walk along the small river and the lotus pond, and every other section there will be a simple and elegant pavilion standing by the water, where the village women wash their clothes. This is a unique laundry booth in the country, and there are six in Heshun. The laundry kiosk can be used for washing clothes, enjoying the cool air, and looking into the distance, expressing lovesickness.

Heshun men are both Confucianism, businessmen and farmers, and they travel all over the world. In order to protect the women at home from the wind and sun while washing clothes, they built such a pavilion (built in the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty). This is the easiest gift from a docile man who has gone far away to his own woman.

Due to Zhu Yuanzhang’s border settlement system in the Ming Dynasty, there were many immigrants from the Central Plains in Heshun, including those from Anhui and Nanjing, so the residential buildings here still have the architectural style of Huizhou. Various architectural styles blend harmoniously and coexist harmoniously in this beautiful southwestern border.

Influenced by foreign cultures, most of the buildings in Heshun are a combination of Chinese and Western styles, with styles from South Asia and Southeast Asia. There are also many Western handicrafts and modern supplies in the courtyard.

Tengchong is the place where the "Silk Road" on the land in the south of Sichuan, Yunnan, Burma and India must pass through in ancient times. Heshun is just next to "Guanma Avenue". Therefore, Heshun has become a famous hometown of overseas Chinese due to its long history of overseas Chinese going abroad and the large number of overseas Chinese. The population of overseas Chinese in the township accounts for 100.2% of the domestic population. Including the family members of overseas Chinese, it is 167.6% of the domestic population.

Overseas Chinese here are distributed in more than ten countries including Myanmar, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Canada, and the United States.

After many vicissitudes and great changes, Heshun people miraculously preserved ancient buildings and cultural relics with their extraordinary wisdom. No matter who you are, you will sincerely sigh—it is simply a miracle that there is such a splendid village hidden in this extreme place.

Walking into Heshun seems to have come to a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. A stream of clear water flows around the village. Acting Prime Minister Li Gengen of the Republic of China praised Heshun in a poem: "Superior to Xiaosuhang". Today's peaceful life is still peaceful, not yet contaminated with modern atmosphere.

Heshun Ancient Town still retains traditional culture and architecture. Ancestral halls, archways, and ancient towns from the Ming and Qing Dynasties are all over the ancient town. The entire ancient town also maintains the same architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, just like a legendary paradise.

Along the Southwest Silk Road, over the majestic Gaoligong Mountain, into Heshun. It's like walking into a cultural maze. On the ancient volcanic terraces, thousands of characteristic dwellings stand beside mountains and rivers, row upon row, and you can touch the mottled years and rich cultural atmosphere with every gesture.

Surrounded by volcanoes on all sides, the famous and ancient trees on the mountain are lush and lush, and the waves are bursting; the meandering Daying River is inlaid in the vast rice waves and yellow flowers, quiet and dazzling; a clear water surrounds the village, and fish fly The shallow bottom, the ancient willows on the riverside are like smoke; the wetlands, Longtan, canyon, egrets, wild ducks, old cows, plum blossoms, camellias, rice flowers, vividly represent a peaceful paradise.

For more than 600 years, the mainstream culture of the Central Plains has been harmonious and eclectic, and it has become a window for the integration of Chinese civilization, South Asia and the West. Through the hard work of dozens of generations of Heshun people, a glorious history and splendid culture have been created, and many cultural celebrities and wealthy businessmen have been cultivated.

This emerald compound of Li's Mansion is like a real "emerald" in the ancient town of Heshun. It was founded by a native of Tengchong, Yunnan and a veteran of the Republic of China. Founded by Li Chengxing. Lifu Jade Courtyard takes building a jadeite brand in the hometown of overseas Chinese as its own responsibility, and wins the world with integrity. Every piece of jadeite in Lifu Jade Courtyard is Burmese natural jadeite. Jadeite lovers will definitely find your jadeite "fate" here. "of.

Heshun Ancient Town has preserved a large number of ancient residential buildings with high cultural and artistic value. In 2005, Heshun was selected by CCTV for its six unique charms: the first town facing South Asia; a leisure resort surrounded by volcanoes; a window for the integration of Chinese culture, South Asian culture and Western culture; Township; the largest hometown of overseas Chinese on the Southwest Silk Road; an ancient town scenic spot with 6,000 residents living harmoniously—conquered a jury composed of first-class experts from all over the country and was shortlisted for the top ten charming towns in the country and won the only annual award.

The small river at the head of Heshun Village goes around the village, and various small bridges are built across the river. , a beautiful scenery of a plateau water town.

Compared with other ancient towns, Heshun has more grandeur and less commercial atmosphere; it has more ancient cultural charm and less hustle and bustle. The beauty and tranquility here are just right. So when you come to Heshun, in addition to visiting scenic spots and viewing buildings, you also have to imitate some Heshun people’s leisurely and peaceful life attitude, relieve pressure, and stay comfortably for a few days.

There are currently 8 sightseeing battery cars in the scenic spot, which can be equipped according to the needs of different groups.

Traveling in Heshun, we ate a farmhouse with local characteristics - Shanshui Yuzhuang, which is 20 minutes' drive from Heshun Ancient Town. On the recommendation of our friends, we went to experience it.

The aquatic products here are self-cultivated, and all kinds of fish are very fresh.

Accompanied by the beautiful natural rural scenery, the air is fresh and the environment is relaxing, it can relieve the mental pressure of travel and work, so it is loved by many locals and foreign tourists.

The boss is a veteran, and he is a chef with superb cooking skills, and the business is booming. According to some customers, the boss is honest and pays attention to food hygiene, so there are many repeat customers and word-of-mouth customers.

To be honest, the taste is really good. Many big hotels can't reach this level. After a good meal, the tiredness of travel is swept away!

Eat and drink enough to move on to the next destination...

6. Beihai Wetland, the only national wetland reserve in Yunnan Province

It seems that there are waters in many places in Yunnan, such as Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La, and Tengchong, too;
Sending you a slice of Beihai Wetland.

The difference is that Tengchong Beihai Wetland is the only national wetland reserve in Yunnan Province.

Surrounded by mountains on all sides, it has a special geographical location. It belongs to the plateau volcanic barrier lake ecosystem, and a large piece of land floating on the water surface; it is like a giant colorful tapestry, with the characteristics of complex biodiversity and high productivity.

It turns out that people and scenery also need fate. A casual chat can create a beautiful encounter. It's really weird here. The water grass is densely packed, and the roots are intertwined. Day after day, year after year, the old grass rots, and new ones grow on the rotten grass roots, and then rot again, and then grow new ones, and finally form a whole piece of grass Each of them floats on the water, like small grass islands, usually more than one meter thick. Taking off your shoes and walking barefoot on "Grass Island", it feels like stepping on a sponge.

Local people often use a small piece of grass raft cut at will as a bamboo raft to catch fish and shrimp; some people simply open a hole in the grass raft, and put the fishing rod into the hole to fish, enjoying themselves.

It is said that it is the most beautiful in the middle and late April every year, when the North Sea orchids bloom everywhere, which is too beautiful to behold. In summer, there is a piece of green everywhere, which also makes me excited.

The fragrance of grass leaves floats in the air, wild ducks quack from time to time in the reeds, and there are surprise calls of tourists stepping on the grass row from time to time on the lake. Boating on the lake is like being in the prairie. It's just that this "prairie" is floating on the water.

Beihai Wetland has extremely high value of eco-tourism and scientific research. Tengchong Beihai Wetland Reserve is now jointly established by the County Tourism Bureau, Environmental Protection Bureau, and Daju Township Government to establish Beihai Wetland Ecotourism Development Co., Ltd. to develop ecotourism protection in the reserve.

Now the first phase project of Beihai Wetland Reserve has been preliminarily completed, corresponding tourism service supporting facilities have been built, the hardware facilities of the scenic spot have been basically completed, and water, electricity and roads have been connected (the 12.5km tourist special line in the scenic spot is a national three-level asphalt road).

The moment you step into the Beihai Wetland Reserve, you can truly experience the splendor and magic of nature. This pure natural handwriting of nature has gifted us a pure world like a miracle!

This is a magical paradise. Migratory birds from north to south land here exhausted but full of joy after experiencing the hardships of long journeys, the confusion of tall buildings in the city, and the sneak attacks of ignorant people with shotguns and slingshots.

Another place not far from the Beihai Wetland is another new perspective for viewing Heshun Ancient Town. Zhenghao met a couple taking pictures, and the photographer was following them.

It was an afternoon in June, and I stood in the long-awaited rice field of Heshun Ancient Town: This is a wide and quiet picture, under the cold sky, there is a green light, so good!

Small ridges divide the rice fields into large and small blocks. On the straight field ridges, there are some cormorants parked; on the shore, there are rows of houses, clinging to each other...

Whoever draws this world, then draws me and you, you and him, he and him (her)...

7. The Emerald Museum has the largest emerald stone in the world

Cuiyuan stone is the king of jade in the world, and it is a non-renewable resource. As the original stone is dug out less and less, the price soars year by year, so it has a high appreciation space and collection value.

Tengchong Jadeite Museum is a place that collects many fine jadeite products, and a visit here will definitely yield great rewards.

The museum is divided into three major fields: natural science, culture and commerce, and historical and humanistic regions. It consists of 9 major parts, including "Preface Hall", "Emerald Naturally Made", "Heavenly Crafted Emerald", "Appreciating Treasures and Knowing Emerald", and "Emerald Grand View".

The jadeite in the picture below is the largest piece of jadeite in the world, and it is considered a treasure of the museum. This is a huge piece of jade wool on the Myanmar jade market in March 2009. It is 3.4 meters long, 2.9 meters wide, 2.3 meters high and weighs more than 24 tons. Later it was bought and shipped back to China. After a series of strict and complicated certification procedures, the World Records Association finally confirmed it as "the world's largest jadeite".

In ancient times, there were no machines for cutting stones like now. At that time, it could only be done manually. It took about three months to cut a stone. Therefore, mining jade and jadeite in ancient times was a huge project.

The 9 exhibition halls of Tengchong Jadeite Museum have their own characteristics. They use real objects as carriers to display the history of jadeite development from multiple angles and in all directions, display the academic achievements of jadeite appreciation and identification, explore the source of jadeite culture, focus on displaying unique jadeite culture, and reproduce Tengchong as an emerald processing industry. The birthplace and the historical features of the emerald trade distribution center.

Many years ago, every family in Tengchong had treasures, everyone had cultural relics, and every house might hide priceless emeralds.

Entering the Jadeite Museum, the nine exhibition halls comprehensively sort out the history, origin, mining, processing, and trade of jadeite, and the collection has received strong support from senior industry seniors.

The emerald necklace in the picture above was auctioned for a sky-high price of 260 million. Feeling the extravagance of emeralds all over the eyes, and appreciating the prosperity of the past, I am more curious about this world!

This is a cultural journey, but it is not bitter at all, very sweet...

8. In the days of Tengchong, we have a home

Now I like to stay in a B&B when I travel, and it’s the same in Tengchong this time. The B&B we stayed in is called Bennu B&B, which gave me a complete vacation.

I don't know if it's because I've traveled too many roads and become numb to so many scenery, or because some scenery itself is not attractive enough to me. For the journey and the destination on the journey, there are not too many things that I can remember now, and there are not many places that can warm me!

Here, I found it, found the touch of a strange place, this may be the most beautiful encounter in the journey!

Some things are addictive, and the pull is contagious. From the beautiful scenery of Tengchong, it spread to the homestay where we stayed - Benno Homestay. To be honest, I have stayed in too many hotels and homestays, and I can’t remember too many, and Bennusu, like the scenery of Tengchong, has also been imprinted in my mind.

I have heard of Tengchong for a long time, I have heard of Heshun Ancient Town, and I have seen it on the lens of my friends. It is still not clear why, just a few shots were planted, and in the days to come, "weeds" were overgrown and unable to extricate themselves.

However, the homestay we live in has the best view of Heshun Ancient Town, with a panoramic view of the entire ancient town...

It is no exaggeration to say that Heshun Ancient Town is the place where humanity and customs coexist in recent years. The ancient town is somewhat "enchanting", attracting many tourists and photographers. These places are full of charm and filled with Strong southern flavor.

Bennuo Homestay in the center of the ancient town has unique geographical conditions and the most warm accommodation environment. If I go again, I will stay here again.

Nuanyang roamed wantonly in the alleys of Heshun Ancient Town, extended to Bennuo B&B, and occasionally collided with us head-on, retaining more peace and serenity for this originally not so vast space.

During the journey, the quality of accommodation often determines the quality of the entire journey. This time, I am traveling and enjoying high-quality travel. Everything comes from Benno Boutique B&B.

This slightly flowing wind carries our longing for the distant place. I found that here, because of many beautiful things, time always flies so fast, or we are unwilling to let time move forward.

This is a homestay built by people with responsibility, passion, vitality, and stories. The friends behind the scenes have devoted all their efforts to her day after day. It is precisely because of the warmth of love that Benno Boutique Homestay can grow and have now exuberant vitality.

Indulge in the deep courtyard of Benno Homestay, and fall in love with the supreme tranquility here. In this tranquil atmosphere, you can think carefully about your actions and taste every surprise or amazement in your life.

The sunset is beautiful, and the journey is perfect. Will you stay where you are next time we meet?
