Zuogong is the last stop of our self-driving tour in Qamdo, Tibet, and the last place we arrived in the ten counties and one district of Qamdo. Here we first visited Pabala Lake, Dongba folk houses, the north slope of Meili Snow Mountain, and Tiantuo Temple Waiting for the scenic spot, the last stop came to the famous Meiyu Grassland.
Meiyu Prairie is located in the Kaiqu River Basin, a tributary of the Yuqu River, and administratively belongs to Meiyu Township of Zuogong County. More than 93 kilometers away from the county seat, it is the only pure animal husbandry township in Zuogong County.
Because it is not far from Bangda Grassland in Basu County, Meiyu Grassland is the last stop of our in-depth self-driving tour in Qamdo (the 30th day). The second highest Bangda Airport is departed by plane.
The Meiyu Grassland is high in altitude and belongs to the typical alpine grassland. It just snowed heavily the night before we arrived, so from a distance, the grassland is as famous as the name. The golden grassland is really like a piece of beautiful jade, inlaid among the rolling snow-capped mountains around. The meandering river is like its lace.
The Meiyu Grassland extends along the Kaiqu River. When we raise the drone to a height of 500 meters, we can see the rolling snow-capped mountains on both sides. It is a bit of a pity that it is cold and without the decoration of cattle and sheep.
According to a local friend who traveled with me, the most beautiful season in Meiyu Grassland is summer, when green grass is green, wild flowers are everywhere, cattle are fat and horses are strong, sheep are flocking, gazelles are chasing and playing, hares and plateau marmots are everywhere. . Argali, bears, snow leopards, wolves, roe deer, deer and other national wild animals are distributed among them.
Such a beautiful scenery sounds very beautiful. The Kaiqu River flowing through it is gentle, clear, fish flying in the shallow bottom, playing and playing, lively and interesting, pleasing to the eye and lingering. It nourishes the grasslands, cattle and sheep here.
Due to the cold weather, we did not go deep into the grassland to play, because this is not a commercial scenic spot. Except for the endless grassland and snow-capped mountains, there are no related services and supplies. Looking around, there are not many people, not even animals. See, so we drove for a while, and then took a drone to take a look.
Through drones, we still saw a lot of villages on the Meiyu Grassland, with original pastoral houses (it seems that they have settled down, not nomadic tents), and there are barley racks in front of the houses, with some The fodder for cattle and sheep in the winter, without any trace of commercialization, has an indescribable natural beauty.
When the drone flies a few kilometers away, you can also see some lakes dotted on the grassland. According to friends in the same industry, the largest lake is called Rencuo Lake. The four seasons are clear and transparent, and the winter we have come is not completely frozen, just like a piece of beautiful jade inlaid on the yellow-white grassland.
Although the Meiyu Grassland in winter does not have the green grass in summer and the wind blowing grass and cattle and sheep, but it has another charm under the snow cover. It is said that there are 11 natural hot springs on the grassland. The temperature is kept between 60-70 degrees all the year round, but unfortunately the grassland is too big, and standing on the viewing platform, the wind is cold, it is really cold, flying the drone, the hands feel frozen, so there is no It is a small regret to search slowly and experience carefully.
