Fanjingshan is located in Tongren City, Guizhou Province, so you can choose to take a plane or train to Tongren, and then transfer to a car to go to Fanjingshan. Fanjing Mountain, named after "Brahma Pure Land", is 2,572 meters above sea level. It is the main peak of Wuling Mountains and a famous cultural mountain with a history of more than 2,000 years. Passing through the clouds to the mountains, I deeply felt the majesty and mountain ranges of Fanjing Mountain. From the cableway station on the top of the mountain, follow the forest plank road on the right hand side and continue upward, and you will come to the very famous "Mushroom Stone" in Fanjing Mountain in about half an hour. There is a small path next to the stone steps leading to Hongyun Jinding. The highest point next to Mushroom Stone is the old Jinding of Fanjing Mountain, and another peak that is far away from the old Jinding is the most popular scenic spot in Fanjing Mountain-Hongyun Jinding.

On the way to Hongyun Jinding, you will first pass through the largest temple in Fanjing Mountain - Cheng'en Temple, which is also the main temple of Miller Taoist Temple. The original name of the temple is Tongming Hall, which is named after the Maitreya Bodhisattva who is enshrined in the whole body. Later, it was destroyed by wars. In the 46th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, it was renamed Baoen Temple when Emperor Shenzong built it. In the early Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was renamed Chengen Temple.
After worshiping Maitreya Bodhisattva, start climbing the Red Cloud Golden Summit. Standing at the foot of Hongyun Jinding and looking up, the stone steps between the peaks are steep and narrow. I feel that it is quite difficult to wait for the Jinding. Still have to beat it. If you don’t climb the Golden Summit, you have never been to Mount Fanjing. To prove that I have been here, I finally climbed to the top of both Golden Summits. Although I was exhausted when I finally went down the mountain, I can tell you responsibly that it is definitely worth it. .
The two golden roofs are actually not difficult to climb, but they are really steep. In some places, you really need to use your hands and feet to do it, and some rock cracks are so narrow that only one person can pass sideways.
The upper part of Hongyun Jinding is divided into two isolated peaks by "Golden Knife Gorge" - the Sakyamuni Hall is built in the south, dedicated to Sakyamuni Buddha; the Maitreya Hall is built in the north, dedicated to Maitreya Buddha. The middle is connected by a bridge, which looks like a flying dragon.

Coming down from the Red Cloud Golden Summit, you will pass the Buddha Worship Platform along the mountain road. This is another good place to appreciate the Red Cloud Golden Summit.
On the way, you will also see the imperial edict stele left over from the Ming Dynasty. This stele was built under the imperial decree of Emperor Shenzong and written by Li Zhiyan, a household doctor. The full name of the monument is "The Continuation Monument of the Reconstruction of the Golden Top of Fanjing Mountain", inscribed in regular script, with a full text of 1349 characters. History, legends, the rise and fall of Buddhism, etc. have all been recorded in detail. Among them, the sentence "the sect of all famous mountains" directly expresses the incomparable lofty position of Mount Fanjing in the hearts of people at that time.
Continue up the stone steps to the old Jinding. When climbing the mountain, don’t just look at your feet. When you are safe, you must look back at the opposite Hongyun Jinding. Although the angle, time, and light change, it will not stop. to surprise you.
The time is getting late, the setting sun is slowly setting, shining in the misty clouds and mist, reflecting a faint orange color, at this time, the red cloud golden dome is more clear and three-dimensional, majestic and upright.
