At the end of the summer vacation, before the closure of the mountains, the self-driving tour belonging to our family of three began! The surrounding Lujiao Bay, Daipuseng, and Dushanzi Grand Canyon have all been visited. Today we are going to the hottest road in Xinjiang this year.
Many people say that if you don’t go to Xinjiang, you don’t know how big China is, but if you want to say where the scenery accounts for 80% of the beauty of Xinjiang’s highways, travel enthusiasts will say this road with one voice.
It is - Duku Highway!
The Duku Highway is 561 kilometers long, connecting southern Xinjiang and northern Xinjiang, and crossing the Tianshan Mountains. Driving on the road, blue sky and white clouds, silent forests, ice and snow, and steep cliffs appear alternately. You can travel in four seasons in a day, and the weather is different for ten miles.
It took 10 years and gathered the strength of tens of thousands of officers and soldiers to shuttle between cliffs and forests and snow-capped mountains. 165 martyrs dedicated their lives here. It is a road of heroes. The Duku Highway is steep, and the ranger travels through the entire Duku with a top-level four-wheel drive off-road vehicle, never missing a beautiful scene.
Although the Duku Highway is thrilling, the extreme beauty like a fairy tale fairyland will make you unforgettable all your life. It is a golden channel to drive the natural landscape tourism on the northern slope of Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang.
The beautiful scenery along the way is endless, a landscape avenue that must be walked once in this life!
