I have always wanted to give Tutu a big yard away from the city, surrounded by mountains, woods, and birds, so that they can live freely, run and have fun.

But the reality is very skinny, at least for now and in the future, this wish is somewhat difficult to realize.

However, we have now found another way to live the life we yearn for, which are these homestays that are slowly appearing around Beijing. So one of my daily tasks now is to search for favorite homestays everywhere, and after confirming that pets can be brought, take them to live for a few days and have a good time.

The quiet place, which takes only two or three hours to drive, makes it easy for us to walk away.

about here

This time, I chose a co-sustaining cluster.

Dayin Yushi is responsible for the unified management and operation here. Currently, there are 5 independent small courtyards including Dayin Yushi, Xiangli Xiangju, Shiguang Great Wall, Yuanxiangli, Zuo Neighbors and You She, each named after their boutique B&B projects.

Some time ago, I went to Baili Xiangju, and I felt very good, so I believed that Hesu would not let me down~

Later, I chatted with the housekeeper here, and I asked her why she was "hiding in the world" instead of "hiding in the city". The housekeeper said that the small hermitage in the wild and the great hermitage in the city have always represented the good life that people expect, but whether it is in the mountains or in the market, it is still too small. Hiding in the world is the goal we yearn for now, so they hope "Hidden in the world" can become a way of life for people today, and they are also committed to creating such a place to help people realize this dream.

how can I get there

Address: Yaoguanling Village, Liubinbao Township, Yongning Town, Yanqing District, Beijing

Bus: Take the 919 express bus from Deshengmen to Yanqing, then transfer to the Y28/Y30 bus to Shiziying Station

Self-driving: Navigate and search for "Beijing Hesu Homestay" or "Yaoguanling Village", about 2 hours' drive from the urban area, and you will be there when you see a large verbena flower field and sunflowers at the entrance of the village~

Co-studio·Hidden in the world

The small courtyard we booked this time is a co-studio·big hermit, with two bedrooms and a large living room, which is just right for me and my friends and family.

After checking in, the butler took us to the small courtyard, where the car can be parked in the parking lot not far away.

As soon as he entered the door, he saw the line friends sitting on the roof, and Tutu's eyes were also attracted. It was a bit afraid of heights, and usually would not go on stairs, suspension bridges, etc., but this time it actually climbed up to the roof terrace with us, and even sniffed the pp of Connie Rabbit, which made us very funny , haha~

The design style of the yard is the current popular ins style, the white walls inlaid with crystal glass bricks, the cactus at the door and in the yard, any shot is a fresh blockbuster without PS ~

There is a rest area next to the courtyard wall. It is also a different kind of enjoyment to open the parasol, sit outside chatting, having a BBQ, or just relaxing in a daze~

The large living room provides ample rest space, and the soft fabric sofa makes me feel like I don't want to get up after sitting.

There is also an open kitchen in the corner of the living room, with all kitchen utensils and tableware, and free mineral water provided by the hotel in the refrigerator. It is also good to bring your own ingredients or buy some organic and pollution-free vegetables and fruits around, and cook a delicious table here~

On the dining table is the afternoon tea prepared by the butler for us - freshly picked plums and small fruit, as well as sliced watermelon. The sweet and sour taste made us forget the heat of the afternoon.

There are two bedrooms in Dayin Yushi, which are four-person tatami and double beds, and each room is equipped with an independent bathroom.

After putting down our luggage, we took our baby and dog out for a walk, and found a sea of purple flowers not far away. At first I thought it was lavender, but I found out it was verbena after I asked the housekeeper. It is now in flowering season, and the long purple color is extremely romantic.

Other courtyards

Seeing that we liked it so much, the housekeeper invited us to visit the other four small courtyards.

【Co-stay·Country House】

Just next to the verbena flower field, it is a small courtyard with the best scenery around, and it is also the only small courtyard equipped with a swimming pool.

In the hot summer, it must be great to swim in the water~

The small courtyard has three bedrooms and can accommodate 6-8 people.

【Co-stay·Yuanxiangli】

This is a small courtyard renovated and designed on the basis of retaining the original old house, with a strong rural atmosphere.

The yard is very large with swing chairs and sitting areas.

The kitchen is a separate room, isn't it beautiful with logs on the walls?

There are 4 bedrooms with light gauze curtains in this yard, which can accommodate 8-10 people~

【House·Neighborhood】

The Huizhou style of white walls and gray tiles is the largest among several courtyards, and it is also the one with the most sense of design in my opinion.

Different from other yards, a staircase rising from the middle of the yard is built here, connected to the roof platform of another house, and then extended to both sides respectively, and there are rest tables and chairs at the end, which is very layered.

There are 2 suites and 2 standard rooms here, which can accommodate 14-16 people. Small group building is no problem~

【Hesu · Shiguang Great Wall】

The stone-stacked exterior wall fits the name of the yard.

The living room is in Chinese style, antique, and there is a tea room for drinking tea, which is full of Zen.

The two bedrooms in the small courtyard are suites, which can accommodate 8-10 people.

to eat

The room rate in the courtyard includes breakfast and afternoon tea. If you want to have dinner here, you need to inform the reservation at least one day in advance.

However, each small courtyard has a well-equipped kitchen and barbecue pits, so I think it’s not bad to bring your own ingredients for a BBQ. It’s an authentic country vacation~

In addition, it is only about ten minutes' drive from Yongning Ancient Town. There are many restaurants in the ancient town. My friend and I went to a restaurant whose signatures were all tofu to order food and then packed it back to the small courtyard to eat.
