Tengchong is one of my favorite places in China. I think everyone knows it. After all, there are not many places that go twice a year.
Let me start by saying that every time someone asks me where Tengchong is, I get a little annoyed. Do I not know about the tragic 1944 Siege of Tengchong? ! If you really don’t want to read, why don’t you visit my regiment leader and my regiment.
The reason why I like Heshun Ancient Town is that on the one hand, as a scenic spot, various facilities are in place and comfortable. On the other hand, as a scenic spot with a small flow of people, the local culture is well preserved. For example, when I went this time to catch up with the rice planting season, everyone was busy in the rice field in front of Heshun Ancient Town, which was very fireworks. The third is to eat very appetizing, I eat hot and sour every day.
It is said that the high-speed rail will be opened in 2023. At that time, it is estimated that this field will become a sea of flowers photographed by Internet celebrities.
Heshun is currently my paradise. You can steal corn or something in the morning.
I recommend a set of books. Before you go, you can look through the history and architecture of Heshun Ancient Town. I also searched Heshun and bought several books. It turns out that other books are about Heshun Town, Shanxi, which is a bit embarrassing.
If you want to understand the history of war, you can read the Siege of Tengchong in 1944. This book is relatively thick. When I read it, I felt that my wrist strength was tested, so I recommend everyone to read the electronic version.

I won’t go into details about other information, as the changes are too fast to be useful. Describe the main modes of transportation. (Tengchong often has flight delays during the rainy season from May to August every year. It is recommended that you buy a morning flight or fly to Baoshan)
1. Kunming Airport - Tengchong Airport, it takes less than 30 minutes to get off the plane to Heshun Ancient Town.
2. Self-driving or carpooling from Dali to Tengchong. After the Longjiang Bridge is repaired, it will be easier than before. It will take less than five hours. (From Dali to Tengchong, you can search for the Bank of Communications, and the six-seater commercial vehicle is quite comfortable)
3. Kunming Airport - Baoshan Airport, Baoshan bus to Tengchong about two and a half hours

I have been to Tengchong almost all the year round, the climate is pleasant, the weather in Yunnan is dry, even if it is hot at noon, it is still dry, and it is cool after the sun goes down. Therefore, in the dressing guide, it is mainly emphasized to bring a small coat, which is used in the morning and evening.

Heshun Ancient Town is not big, and you can definitely see all the attractions in two or three days, but I think the charm of Heshun Ancient Town lies not in the attractions, but in life.

I like Yunnan food so much, hot and sour, especially hot and sour staple food, I can't stop eating it.
One of the biggest features of the dishes here in Tengchong is the foreign sour eggplant, which looks a bit like a tomato. The foreign sour eggplant cannot be eaten alone, and it is considered hard, but it is wonderful when used as a condiment. Just the right amount of sourness, super appetizing. Tengchong has most of the condiments.
In Tengchong, even beef hot pot costs less than 50 per capita.
Youfen Restaurant
Must-order dishes: hot and sour potato (local small potato is very soft, stir-fried with sour eggplant and pepper. I ate it for five days without a meal); Dajiujia (the bait produced in Tengchong area is fine and waxy, White in color and gluten, cut the bait into diamond-shaped slices, add fresh pork slices, ham slices, sauerkraut, onions, spinach, tomatoes, bad spicy peppers, eggs, etc. Seasoned with monosodium glutamate. Not recommended: brains (this is not a problem of bad taste, it is a local characteristic. The copper ladle of the Bai nationality is used to cook pure yellow beef and beef offal. The pumpkin at the bottom of the pot is super delicious, and the beef is super fresh and has a good taste.

The earthen pot in the store is also a local specialty. Different from ordinary metal hot pots, the earthen pot is made of a kind of local clay in Tengchong. Yunnan arabica coffee is a must experience. The boss is very attentive in planting coffee beans, roasting coffee beans, and brewing coffee. Their coffee ice cream is a must.
Let me tell you a joke here. On the first day, I went to the hand-rolled noodles made by the sister of the store manager and boiled chicken soup for eight hours. I was so excited, as soon as the noodles came, I held the bowl directly in front of my eyes, added soup and started eating. My companions asked me, is this bowl of noodles for everyone, and I can eat them in my own bowl. I said no, it was such a big bowl of noodles, and I ate them with a huff. After a while, the sister of the store manager came out and saw me in a daze, and said, can you finish this bowl?

Introduction of Tengchong Hot Spring
The hot springs in Tengchong are really good, so it is a must-have item to come to Tengchong to experience the hot springs. Remember to bring a swimsuit, the styles sold here are hard to describe.

I live in Yanji every time, I like this kind of leisurely feeling, so I will not choose the online celebrity shop when I go to the ancient town.
The first consideration for accommodation is my own comfort, not the fact that other people look good when taking pictures. One thing to say, buildings that conform to the regional characteristics must make sense. We are a bit troubled by termites at this time of year. I saw some stores being attacked by termites The windows are all remnants, but Yanji is completely fine.
I have been there five times and lived in countless rooms.
