In the mid-autumn season, Xiangshan is first dyed. Mr. Zheng, secretary of the board of directors, warmly arranged, accompanied by former colleagues Ms. Dong and Mr. Wu, to climb Xiangshan Mountain again on October 22.

I have climbed Xiangshan several times before. The earliest time was an autumn day in the late 1980s, and there was no sign of it except being out of breath; the most recent time was a weekend in the winter of 2017, the wind was like a knife, and it started at five o'clock in the morning, walking south from the east gate When we climbed to the top of Xianglu Peak, it was just sunrise, and then we went down the northern line and returned to our residence in Beijing around ten o'clock.

The two boardings were nearly 40 years apart. If you are too young to learn, you have a dream in your heart, and at most you climb to check in; when you are getting old, you have worked in Beijing for several years and have not been to any scenic spots. As a farewell trip, mountain climbing is just an end to your career. . The two trips to Xiangshan are not the best time to watch red leaves.

This trip to Beijing was mainly for a meeting. Although it was not a wishful thing, I met old acquaintances and colleagues in Beijing who I hadn’t seen for a few years. I drank three times in three nights. The sleep time is only two or three hours. In comparison, the revisit of Xiangshan Mountain arranged by the board secretary is worth looking forward to.

After jogging in the early morning, take a hot shower and sit in the corner of the Hilton restaurant as refreshed as ever. Since suffering from diabetes, the five-star hotel breakfast with fresh vegetables has become a favorite. A plate of vegetables, a cup of coffee and milk, a few slices of bread, enough energy to prepare for climbing.

Outside the east gate, there were crowds of people. During the epidemic, reservations were made for online ticket purchases. Tickets of 10 yuan were very cheap. Many people scanned the QR code and bought tickets when they arrived, and many people gathered in the square. During the coronavirus outbreak, masks must be worn when entering the park. Climbing a mountain wearing a mask is a kind of helplessness, and it has also become a landscape.

Passing through the Zhongling Yuxiu Memorial Archway, there are two trees covered with red leaves in front of the Qinzheng Hall, just like a popular product advertisement, as if it is the right time to watch the red leaves in Xiangshan, attracting many tourists to stop and take pictures.

Xiangshan, formerly known as Jingyi Garden, got its name because there is a huge rock on the top of the mountain that looks like an incense burner, and there are often clouds and mists around it, like cigarettes curling up into the sky. Xiangshan has beautiful scenery and beautiful scenery. Cotinus cotinus changes its clothes in autumn, and the mountain is full of red and full of fire. Every year in mid-autumn, tourists flock here, and there are more tourists here than red leaves at peak times.

There are many roads up the mountain. Dong and Wu led us to climb along the routes of Shuangqing Villa, Hongguang Temple, Yuxiang Pavilion, Langfeng Pavilion, Xiangwu Cave, Platform and Guijiansorrow. Ms. Dong seldom climbed mountains, so she stopped at Shuangqing Villa and went to Xiangshan Hotel to drink tea and wait; Without the hope of his peers, he climbed up the stairs alone, walked quickly, constantly surpassing the flow of people, and soon reached the incense burner peak.

Xiangshan Park has a history of 900 years. As early as the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the royal family built a separate palace in Xiangshan. Every summer and autumn, the emperor would come here to enjoy the cool and hunt. There are many cultural relics and historic sites in the park, and the pavilions are scattered among the mountains and forests, so there is no time to visit them one by one. The Shuangqing Villa, where Chairman Mao lived and worked, is located on the southeast slope of Xiangshan Mountain. It is a must-visit place in almost every trip to Xiangshan Mountain.

Shuangqing Villa was originally Songwu Yunzhuang in Jingyi Garden in the Qing Dynasty. It was burned down by the British and French allied forces in 1860. It was later turned into a private residence by Xiong Xiling, the founder of Xiangshan Kindergarten. On March 25, 1949, after the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the headquarters of the Chinese People's Liberation Army entered Xiangshan from the northwest slope, Shuangqing Villa was Chairman Mao's office and residence. On September 21, Chairman Mao moved from Shuangqing Villa in Xiangshan to Juxiang Bookstore in Zhongnanhai. This is the headquarters for the transitional period from the People's War of Liberation to national victory, and a historical witness to the preparations for the new China.

People of our generation are full of infinite reverence for the founders of New China. When talking and chatting about a generation of great men, we always address Chairman Mao and Premier Zhou respectfully, and never call them by their first names. With admiration, I visited the offices and residences of Chairman Mao, Premier Zhou, Commander-in-Chief Zhu and Comrade Shaoqi one by one. I lined up for half an hour to visit the old site of Qingxuan Xiangshan Revolutionary Memorial, and relive Chairman Mao’s own home and country. , The great love for the country and the people shown from the country to the world, I miss the great leader Chairman Mao and the good Prime Minister loved by the people even more in my heart.

The highest point of Xiangshan Mountain is Xianglu Peak, which is 557 meters above sea level. This mountain peak is not high for ordinary people, but it is "ghost-seeing worry" for the royal relatives. Climbing up a steep stone step to the top of the mountain, even the wind can't stop the sweat from pouring down. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the panoramic view while blowing the wind and sweating. Looking to the east, the clear Kunming Lake is like a mirror, reflecting the bustling Beijing city.

It was October, and the mountains were full of green and green. Although there were red leaves floating in the air, it was just the beginning of autumn. A group of student-like young people walked down the mountain regretfully, chattering. Their complaints reminded me of the two trees in front of the Hall of Qinzheng. They are in a place where the purple air comes from the east, but they are ahead of the mountain and covered in red robes. It is not an advertisement that is better than an advertisement.

In fact, the beauty of Xiangshan is not limited to red leaves. As a royal garden with a long history, rich cultural heritage, and mountain forest characteristics, you can enjoy flowers in spring, escape the heat in summer, and walk in snow in winter. At different times, Xiangshan has different beauty presentations. The key is the mentality of the climbers.

Climbing among the quiet and green fields, deep valleys and dense forests of Xiangshan Mountain, and on the cliffs of peaks and cliffs, stopping at Shuangqing Villa, Hongguang Temple, Yuxiang Pavilion, Xiangwu Cave and Xianglu Peak, there is fragrant and elegant fresh air everywhere, and the refreshing fragrance of books Temperament, the fragrance of books is hidden in the original nature and pureness for thousands of years, and there is an atmosphere of slowly blending with the soul in the freshness. The beauty of Xiangshan Mountain needs to be observed with the heart and perceived with the soul.
