Since I was a child, I have been to Beijing, the capital of the people of the whole country, several times, but it is a pity that I have never visited it by chance. This time I came to Beijing for a business trip, so I hurriedly arranged a two-day trip with free time.
I originally planned to climb the "wild" Great Wall like Jinshanling Simatai, but after I checked it on the Internet, it was said that it is the first time for a young lady to go to the Great Wall alone, so don't take such a big risk. As for why I didn't go to Juyongguan and Mutianyu, the most famous Badaling naturally has its most famous reason. I have always believed that the good things in other people's mouths are always someone else's, and I still have to go and see it myself to feel it.
Because I walked around the Summer Palace with my boots for almost five hours the day before, I was so tired that I couldn’t get up in the morning, and I didn’t get up until almost 9 o’clock. Fortunately, I booked the "Bus Da" scenic spot in advance. The bus departs at 10 o'clock. Don’t dare to be careless when going to the Great Wall, quickly put on light warm shoes, take subway line 10 (line 8 is also acceptable), get off at Exit C of Beitucheng Station, and you will see wearing a green bus vest The through train picks up the station staff. (The cost of taking the subway depends on the distance and the round trip is only a little over ten yuan at most, and the bus and the through train are 80 yuan for a round trip per person.)
There are often windy days in the north, especially the Great Wall, so remember to wear thicker clothes, or bring an extra coat, because it’s not worthwhile to go out to play and catch a cold. Also, remember to take good sun protection, which is needed all year round, especially when going to the open outdoors like the Great Wall.
I would like to praise all the travelers in the same car, everyone is still of high quality and they are not late. The through train departs on time from 1 to 10 o'clock. The tour guide is also very considerate. On the way, he has already helped those in need to register and buy tickets and tickets for the cableway. The journey was pretty smooth, there was no traffic jam at the high speed, and we arrived at Badaling in just over an hour. After arriving at the scenic spot, there is no more queuing and you just swipe your ID card and go in. It is really convenient and fast.
The return time of the collection is 4 pm, so there are a full 4 hours of play time on the Great Wall. But the next day I had to get up early for work and a meeting. I was a little worried that I would not get completely tired, so I chose to take the cableway up and down. Anyway, after taking the cableway up, you can continue to climb a very classic section, and there are enough slopes, so climbing down is far less tiring than imagined. If there are all steps and I climb the whole process by myself, I guess I will be exhausted and half dead.
Maybe I didn't feel very tired when I climbed, but I thought about how the Great Wall was built, and then looked at it and imagined that it would extend so infinitely, and I could feel the magnificence. The architects, craftsmen and people of ancient China were all too great to achieve such a great architectural miracle.
After gathering at 4 o'clock, the bus departed for the return journey. After everyone was excited to play, the car was full of whirring noises. No matter where you go, you always want to return home. Although the return journey takes more than an hour, you always feel that the time for the return journey passes very quickly, and you will arrive at the departure point Beitucheng Station in a while.
This visit to the Badaling Great Wall is worthwhile. I especially like the open natural landscape and look forward to having the opportunity to climb other Great Walls.
