Xinjiang has been planting grass for a long time. Many friends and classmates have said that she is beautiful; I have been to it several times at work, but all in a hurry, except for the Dushanzi Grand Canyon, I have never been to others. Before going there, for one reason or another, it almost didn't happen. But in the end, I still couldn't resist the temptation of delicious food and beautiful scenery, so I still went. Sure enough, the beautiful scenery lived up to its reputation, and the trip was worthwhile.
Below, record the bits and pieces of this trip in the form of a journal. It is said that there are a thousand Hamlets for a thousand spectators, and the scenery is passed by in the form of pictures and small notes. Focus on the matters that need to be paid attention to in the process of sorting out, for the second brush use, and also for everyone who reads this travel note to assist. D1: departure

D2: Experience of the four seasons in one day - Duku Highway; Bayinbulak sunset
When traveling in Xinjiang, the most important thing that cannot be ignored is the Duku Highway (if you don’t know the Duku Highway, please Baidu). This trip starts from Dushanzi and goes to Bayinbulak, which is the final of "Flying Life".
Tips1: Bring enough warm clothes here, Dushanzi is about 40°C, the further you go into the Tianshan Mountains, the colder it gets, and there is snow at the top. The so-called experience of the four seasons in one day is not an exaggeration at all.
Tips2: Fill up the fuel tank and bring enough food and water.
From Dushanzi to Bayinbulak (Baidu map shows 270 kilometers, it takes 7 hours and 31 minutes). Actually stop and go, look at the scenery, we arrived in 9 hours. The following is a snapshot of the scenery along the way.
Tips3: The Duku Highway has mountains on one side and cliffs on the other. There are many sharp bends and steep slopes, and the road is long. It is recommended that two old drivers cooperate.
There is the first gas station in Qiaoerma.
Go to Bayinbulak Scenic Area, park your car, and buy a ticket.
Tips4: I really appreciate the greatness of Xinjiang. After buying the ticket, I have to take a 40-minute shuttle bus to get to the real scenic spot, Bayinbulak Grassland. Every scenic spot is similar, and the shuttle bus takes at least 40 minutes, so you must leave enough time to play, don't be like us this time, just skipping several scenic spots.
After another 40 minutes of taking the shuttle bus back to the town, it was already dark, so I picked up the car for dinner, a large plate of chicken and a vegetarian dish, and three people couldn't finish it. The dishes in Xinjiang are really big, and once again I regret not having a small partner. Live in a yurt for the performance of "Impression of Returning to the East" and experience it.
"Impression of East Return" is a large-scale stage play, and I heard it is very good. We missed the time, so we didn't watch it, and we don't make subjective evaluations.
Tips5: The prices in Bayinbulak are not high, and the sausages in the scenic area are 3 yuan a piece. It's cold at night, so bring some white wine to keep you warm.
D3: Nalati-Yining
After breakfast, continue to drive to Nalati, where you have to turn around a section of Duku Highway. (Baidu Maps 1 hour and 18 minutes) This time I was driving on the outside of the road most of the time, and my heart was a little stressed, and I felt numb on the right side of my body.
The rain continued to get heavier, and the Nalati Grassland didn't go in, but just took a photo at the door and punched a card.
Keep going, the rain is small, and the road meets Huahai Nalati.
I ate pilaf, beef noodles, and bibimbap with wild mushrooms in the scenic spot. The bibimbap with wild mushrooms is amazing, praise, praise, delicious. 5 pieces of sausage.
Tips6: Let me bring it up, don't refuel at the first gas station, there are too many people, you have to queue. Everything in the back is empty.
Continue to go to the Ipalhan Lavender Garden recommended by friends. The lavender has been harvested and only green is left. (Baidu map 4 hours 27 minutes)
I can't come here for nothing, I bought a mask, hand cream and other small gifts for friends.
Go on and stay in Yining. (Baidu map shows 46 minutes) If you miss Bagua City, you forget it. When you think about it, you have already arrived in Yining. If you go back for two hours, it will probably be dark. The accommodation in Yining is good, the hotel is smart, clean and quiet, and the price is not high.
D4: Yili River - Huiyuan Ancient City - Horgos Port
Sleep until you wake up naturally in the morning, and go around the Yili River Wetland Park.
Then go to Yili General Mansion in the ancient city of Huiyuan (Baidu map shows 45 minutes), the mansion was opened during the Qianlong period, and it was the gateway to guarding the country.
I bought dried apricots, which are fresh and delicious. 5 pieces of sausage.
Go on, the next stop is Khorgos Port. (Baidu map 1 hour)
Tips7: If you have a passport, bring your passport, you don't need to apply for a pass. If you have an ID card, you need to apply for a pass. You have to walk 800 meters to the card application hall, and then walk back. It seems a bit far. But the speed of certification is quite fast.
Tips8: Chocolate and safflower oil are cheap.
This is actually an economic cooperation development zone jointly built by China and Kazakhstan with a part of the land. I found a car and drove it around, 30 yuan per person. I have been recommending a shopping spot in Kazakhstan, and I am suspected of soliciting customers. Everyone, please be careful.
Stay in Khorgos at night, the accommodation is not expensive, and the meals are okay.
The portion was too big, three people ate two meals, and breakfast was also saved.
D5: Guozigou - Sailimu Lake - Dushanzi
Drive to Guozigou, there is no need to go to Guozigou, it has not been developed yet, so no tickets are charged. But no development did not dare to go in. (Baidu map 1 hour 9 minutes)
The Guozigou Bridge is really good, a bridge connecting mountains and mountains. I drove and didn't get a picture.
Continue to Sailimu Lake (53 minutes on Baidu map). It is still necessary to buy a ticket at the entrance of the scenic spot and take the shuttle bus to get to the lake. It's still raining, and it doesn't stop.
Come out of Sailimu Lake and drive back to Dushanzi (3 hours and 36 minutes on Baidu map), and the 1170-kilometer Tianshan Small Ring Road is completed. Resupply in Dushanzi at night, and continue to the north of the Great Ring Road tomorrow.
Summarize the itinerary at the southern foot of the Tianshan Mountains. The Duku Highway was completed without any risk. It's a pity that Bayinbulak didn't see the sunset. It's a pity that Nalati and Bagua City didn't go. The ancient city of Huiyuan, the general's mansion in Ili, and the Khorgos port are complete. Sailimu Lake is raining, sorry. It means that you have to do a second brush.
Tips9: Be careful of animals such as cattle, horses and sheep crossing the road on all roads. When I was alone in the warehouse, there was a cow crossing, rushing to the opposite direction, and almost collided.
D6: Dushanzi - Devil City - Burqin
Today's schedule is not rushed, so don't get up too early. There are almost no cars on the road, so those who like racing can enjoy it. Dushanzi to Devil City (2 hours and 48 minutes on Baidu map).
Passing by Karamay, there are many kowtow machines for oil production, which is also a great scenery.
Devil City is worth a visit. The typical wind-eroded landform can increase children's knowledge.
Devil City went out to Burqin to eat grilled fish (2 hours and 56 minutes on Baidu map). Burqin is the bridgehead of Kanas. It is purely tourism-assisted, and it is all hotels and restaurants. Grilled fish is a must. Pike/Sandaohei/Jiudaohei are all cold-water fish. After grilling, the meat is delicious and the aftertaste is endless. 5 pieces of sausage.
Tips10: Personal suggestion, do not stay in Burqin when you go, go straight to Kanas, live in Jiadengyu, or live in Baihaba when you enter the scenic spot. When you come back and pass by Burqin, you can eat grilled fish, which can save half a day.
D7: Burqin-Kanas-Hemu
I'm in a rush today, so get up early. From Burqin to the gate of Kanas Scenic Area - Jiadengyu (Baidu map 3 hours 16 minutes),. Buy tickets at the entrance of the scenic spot, and it takes 1 hour to take the shuttle bus to Kanas Lake.
Tips11: If you live in Baihaba at night, it is recommended to travel from the outside to the inside, Wolong Bay-Moon Bay-Shenxian Bay-Kanas Lake, and then take the shuttle bus directly to Baihaba to live.
Baihaba is known as the No. 1 village in Northwest China. This time, due to time constraints, we had to reluctantly abandon it.
Because we didn't go to Baihaba, we chose to stay in Hemu at night. So actually play from the inside out, first take the shuttle bus to Kanas Lake. 8 pieces of grilled sausage.
Then drive to Hemu (2 hours and 12 minutes on Baidu map), Hemu is a primitive village in the mountains, all the houses are made of wood. The scenery is somewhat similar to that of Baihaba, but Hemu is known as the private land of the gods, so Hemu was chosen between the two, and Hemu is a good place to watch the sunrise. Buy a ticket at the entrance of the scenic spot, and the shuttle bus takes 1 hour to get to Hemu Village. The sun had set when we arrived, tired and hungry. Randomly chose one to stay in, and ate a big plate of chicken, Xiaogui. Go to bed and get ready to wake up early to watch the sunrise.
Tips12: It is recommended to book a room in advance, because the shuttle bus can stop at different stops, and you don’t know where to get off without a reservation. In primitive villages, the rooms are similar with minor differences, so don't pursue high-end, clean and tidy is good.
Tisp13: The village committee station is the closest to the sunrise viewing platform, and the Hemu Mountain Villa is the closest to the return station of the shuttle bus. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages.
D8: Hemu Sunrise - Keketuohai
Set the alarm clock, get up early to watch the sunrise.
After watching the sunrise, the shuttle bus came out at 11 o'clock, sweat. Drive to Keketuohai (9 hours and 27 minutes on Baidu map), echoing the previous tips10, Kanas must pass through Burqin, where you can eat grilled fish. After all, the 10-hour drive is a bit boring. We ate and bought melons on the side of the road. I said Cantaloupe by the way, but the owner corrected me and said it was Kanas melon. Sweet, waxy and crispy, there are various flavors. By the way, I bought a box to bring to my friends. The benefits of traveling by car are obvious.
Beitun paused for lunch and ran into a security drill.
Tips14: Here is a name for Xinjiang. Xinjiang is now one of the safest places in the country, including southern Xinjiang. There are three reasons: (1) strict control. (2) National integration. (3) The most important point is that the ethnic minorities have truly recognized China and the Party.
Stay at Keketuo Haichengrui Hotel, a good value for money hotel.
D9: Keketuohai Mine - Keketuohai - Urumqi
After breakfast, visit Keketuohai Mineral Museum, including Ayiguozi Mine and No. 3 Gonggong Mine (Why is it called Gonggong Mine, please Baidu by yourself). Keketuohai is a very magical place, with many rare mineral deposits in the world. However, it has been used as a strategic reserve and mining has been stopped.
After buying the ticket, you still need to take the shuttle bus, which takes about half an hour.
Because I was in a hurry to rush to Urumqi, I didn't go to the innermost part, which is a little regrettable. Bought a sea sapphire bracelet, it feels good. The grilled sausage is 5 yuan, and the deep-fried Wudaohe is delicious and slightly salty.
Keketuohai to Urumqi (7 hours and 28 minutes on Baidu map). Due to time constraints, the originally planned Wucai Bay was skipped. This section is easy to drive, provincial straight road + high speed, few cars, just pay attention to the speed test.
D10: Urumqi - Kumtag Desert - Flame Mountain - Grape Valley
Urumqi to Kumtag in the morning (3 hours and 23 minutes on Baidu map), the whole journey is high speed and there are not many cars. Everyone, take advantage of the fact that Xinjiang tourism is not too popular, so go if you want to go. The desert is a place that children like very much. Sand boarding and desert surfing are very exciting.
Tips15: Be sure to drink plenty of water, the desert is too dry, I feel that the body's water has been absorbed. Dryest lips ever.
Tips16: Cars can be driven in, 300 yuan per car (cost-effective if there are too many people). It is recommended to drive in, otherwise you have to take the shuttle bus, and you have to wait on Line 2. In Xinjiang, time is for fun and cannot be wasted. The shuttle bus costs 50 per person.
Kumtag went out to Huoyan Mountain (59 points on Baidu map), it was too hot, over 40°C, so I took a photo outside the door and punched a card.
Huoyanshan to Grape Valley (Baidu map 24 points), arrived at the scenic spot after get off work, sweating. Stay in Turpan, and eat authentic Xinjiang cuisine next to the hotel----Jiang Ke. The taste is authentic, there is a folk dance performance, and I tried Wusu beer, but I didn’t dare to drink the deadly Wusu. Those who are good at drinking can try it. D11: Grape Valley - Urumqi International Grand Bazaar
Picked by the roadside on the way to Grape Valley, the seedless white grapes are very sweet. An old Uighur couple, nice people. The words naturally reveal gratitude and trust to the government. They now fully recognize the government's idea that you get more for your work, and more work for more work. This also fully confirms what I said above, that Xinjiang is very safe.
Grape Valley went out to Urumqi International Grand Bazaar (3 hours and 40 minutes on Baidu map), which is for selling things. Buy some dried fruit, gifts or something.
Tips17: Buy things to bargain.
Tips18: Try not to live in Urumqi, the traffic in Urumqi is too bad to complain.
In terms of time, Tianshan Tianchi didn't go there. I feel that this time is just to increase experience. Stay next to the airport.
It lasted 10 days, 76857-73322=3535 kilometers, so far the first self-driving tour in Xinjiang is over.
