The virgin forest in Ba Township, Jiacha County is located in the northeast of Jiacha County, 52 kilometers away from the county seat, with an average altitude of 3100 meters. It borders Lang County of Nyingchi City in the east, Cuijiu Township of Jiacha County in the west, Jiacha Town in the south, and Gongbujiangda County of Nyingchi City in the north.
Drive 52 kilometers from Jiacha County to Jiudui Village at the entrance of the virgin forest, and then drive 45 kilometers from Jiudui Village to Nie Village. All the way north, you can see alpine meadows, river valleys, precious medicinal materials, and precious wild animals and plants in the 45 kilometers of virgin forest. In the forest, towering ancient trees with luxuriant branches and leaves can be seen everywhere, such as Qinggang, ancient cypress, ancient pine, etc. More than 20 kinds of century-old trees, as well as various wild mushrooms, cordyceps sinensis, fritillaria, snow lotus, beerberber, podophyllum, and bottle. There are more than 160 kinds of precious medicinal materials such as Xiaocao and Daphne chamaejasma. If you are lucky, you can also see more than 40 species of national-level protected animals living in the forest, such as snow leopards, golden eagles, white-lipped deer, takins, macaques, black bears, and lynxes.
Driving on the flat and open road in the primeval forest of Ba Township, watching the lush green hills seem to emerge from the ground, rushing to the top of the mountain to meet the white clouds like waves. Walking in the green corridor that covers the sky and the sun, it seems to be walking into a green mythical world.
