The Image of Everything - Liu Jinxia Painting Exhibition

On January 1, 2022, hosted by Beijing Xingtan Art Museum and co-organized by Beijing Xingtan Art Auction, "The Image of Everything—Liu Jinxia's Painting Exhibition" opened in the exhibition hall on the second floor of Beijing Xingtan Art Museum.

Preface to the exhibition

I have been searching for more than ten years in the field of Chinese painting art, and I have been learning from many teachers and absorbing everything. On the road of creation, I was once obsessed with many "visual scenes", such as the early spring of "spring mountains are as steaming as early as they are seen", the autumn colors of Jiangshan Mountains "colored according to the class", the snowy water villages of "light ink like a dream", Gao Yuan The indifferent "splash-ink fairy"...has been immersed in the colors of nature several times, wandering in the mountains and forests, watching the flowing springs and waterfalls, the roaring of springs and stones, the seclusion of fish and woodcutters, and the singing of apes and cranes, so as to talk to all life in the universe.

This exhibition of "Images of All Things" covers landscapes, flowers and birds, figures, animals and other themes. They are the "spirits of all things" that I am concerned about, and they are also "visual objects" that express myself. They are full of my love for materials, Thoughts on pen and ink expression, modeling, space, "environmental creation", and transformation of sketching creation: the awe of life in "Endless Life", the "creation" and "transformation" of nature in "Mist River Stacked Peaks" Comprehension, the beautiful observation of time and space in "Sniffing the Rose Series", and the reminiscence of tea in "Qing Ya"... Li Keran said that the study and creation of Chinese painting should be "entered with the greatest skill and drawn out with the greatest courage", This is also the learning path for me to realize my artistic ideals.

For everything in the world, it begins with the heart and ends with the pen.

Liu Jinxia

Born in Xinxiang, Henan in 1990

In 2014, graduated from Capital Normal University with a bachelor's degree.

In 2017, he studied for a master's degree at the School of Chinese Painting, Central Academy of Fine Arts, under the tutelage of Professor Qiu Ting.

Young artist Liu Jinxia is committed to the thinking and research of the material medium of Chinese painting, the form of brush and ink, the secondary creation of ancient paintings, and the conversion and integration of sketching creations. The visual form truly depicts the beautiful "images of all living beings" in the natural world. Mountains and flowing water are hidden among the peaks and mountains, and the appearance of flowers, birds and animals is reproduced in a close distance. The grace of nature and the endless vitality convey the spiritual portrayal of "the image of all things" and express one's infinite affection for nature. On the basis of learning from the ancients and benefiting from many teachers, he forms his own unique artistic language, which is delicate, delicate, subtle but still dignified, elegant and graceful, and looks like a painting...
