As a native of Beijing and a practitioner of cultural tourism, my friends often ask me how to play in Beijing and recommend scenic spots. This time, according to the idea of in-depth travel, I categorized Beijing culture and made recommendations according to subcategories, all of which I have visited countless times.
The last part is the food summed up by eating in Beijing for more than 20 years~ I think it is a very representative classification and recommendation
For an in-depth tour of Beijing, you must know what Beijing culture is like
I think the most important thing to travel is to feel the local culture. Sightseeing, food, chatting with local people, etc. are all ways to understand the culture.
In this guide, I first sort out Beijing culture, and recommend attractions, food and experiences according to cultural categories. It should be as comprehensive and in-depth as possible~
1 Royal culture
Beijing has been the capital for more than 800 years, and the last three feudal dynasties were all chosen in Beijing. There are many surviving dynasties that can be said to be the testimony of the heyday of royal culture.
1-1 Forbidden City
The Forbidden City is the culmination of Chinese culture. In terms of planning, it follows the rules left by the ancestors such as the Five Elements and Eight Diagrams, "Zhou Li·Kao Gong Ji" (such as the front court and the back bed). It is the most outstanding of ancient buildings. After all, it was made by the whole country for the royal family.
Winter is the time when the Forbidden City is the least crowded, how do you want to shoot
Longevity Lantern in Qianqing Palace~
In addition, the collections of the Forbidden City are also worth seeing. The Meridian Gate, Wuying Hall, and Wenhua Hall will have various temporary exhibitions from time to time, which are not of great significance to tourists. Most of them are calligraphy and painting. Most people just join in the fun if they are not interested. Not recommended to see.
This year's Spring Festival exhibition is a hit for all ages, and it was exhibited at the Meridian Gate.
Relatively speaking, the exhibits in the Treasure Hall and the Clock Hall are much easier to understand. If you have plenty of energy and don't mind spending an extra 20 yuan for the ticket, I recommend going in to see it. If you choose one of the two, it is the Treasure Hall. The items hidden inside, such as court jewelry and religious ritual vessels, are the kind that seem nb at first glance, and there is no obstacle to understanding.
If you want to go to the Forbidden City, first of all, summer vacation is not recommended, the temperature will consume half of your physical strength, and almost all of your brainpower...
If conditions permit, you can set aside half a day to visit the Forbidden City. After walking through the three main halls from the Meridian Gate, the last three palaces are paired with the East Sixth Palace (Treasure Hall). Lunch can be settled at the Forbidden City Restaurant, and the price is not outrageous. The cheapest beef rice set meal in the Bingjiao Restaurant is 50+, which feels quite conscientious.
What's more, before leaving the Forbidden City from Shenwumen, you can climb the city wall and walk on it. The view is absolutely extraordinary.
Imagine yourself traveling back to 200 years ago. The palace inside the city wall is the highest and most advanced place in Beijing.
This is the Lantern Festival of the Forbidden City during the Lantern Festival. It is the first time I have the opportunity to visit the walls of the Forbidden City at night. I am super excited~
transportation:
Entering the Forbidden City: You can choose Metro Line 1 and get off at Tiananmen East Station. (1) Go north from the Tiananmen Gate Tower, pass Duanmen to Meridian Gate, and enter the Forbidden City. However, this road will be very crowded during peak seasons and you will also encounter Tiananmen Square Security check, queuing time is uncontrollable; (2) Get off at Tiananmen East Station, walk along Nanchizi Street to Donghuamen, and then walk along Tongzi River to Meridian Gate. to Tiananmen. Of course, you can also choose to take a taxi, send it to Xihuamen or Donghuamen, and walk along the Tongzi River to the Meridian Gate.
Getting out of the Forbidden City: If you don't have a private car booked in advance, public transportation is the most convenient. It is very convenient to go to Xidan, Dongdan, etc. by bus. You can also ride a bicycle if you have the physical strength.
Nearby food: You can go to Di’anmen to eat at Emei Restaurant, and the Siji Minfu Roast Duck at the East Gate of the Forbidden City is also good, but there are a lot of people in line~ Take the bus to Xidan Dongdan, in fact, there are more choices
1-2 Summer Palace/Old Summer Palace
A model of royal gardens. It is definitely more appropriate to go to the Summer Palace in summer. You can choose one of the two. You can take a boat in the Summer Palace. I haven’t been to the Old Summer Palace for a long time.
The main thing to see when entering the Summer Palace is the royal/Chinese garden. It is like walking in nature, with one scene at a time, and there are many sentiments created.
Along Kunming Lake, walk along the corridor to see the colorful paintings on it, go to the Seventeen-Arch Bridge and then leave the garden, or go around the original gate and return.
Don't go on holidays... I remember the last time the elderly in Wuyi District pushed a wheelchair to the Summer Palace, and they couldn't walk at all...
Transportation: It is convenient to take a taxi or rent a car, enter through one door and exit through the other, without going back.
1-3 Great Wall
The Great Wall is a representative of the national strength of ancient China and a symbol of imperial power. There are actually Great Walls in many provinces and cities, but there are more choices in Beijing, and the image is more advantageous. Juyongguan, Badaling, Mutianyu, Jiankou, Shuiguan... But the peak season is really overcrowded.
My team has the content of the Great Wall, and chose the ancient Great Wall. The advantage is that when the mountain is overcrowded, the ancient Great Wall is like a virgin land. At the same time, it will arrange other folk experiences nearby to support the whole day. Otherwise, the journey to and from the Great Wall would be too wasteful.
Nearby food: It seems that delicious food near the Great Wall is not so easy to find. The Chuangwang Banquet in Shixia Village we chose is really super healing! Don't worry about how tired you are as a grandson, a meal will definitely come to an end~
Once we ran to the opposite side of the Badaling Great Wall, which is not a scenic spot. Although it has been repaired, it is very steep... I didn't dare to climb up, and I felt dizzy...
For self-guided tourists, I recommend going with a group to save worry on the journey and bring your own dry food for lunch. If you can charter a car or drive yourself, it is of course a better choice.
Transportation: One-day tour bus, self-driving or chartered car. {data:{has_more:true,html:
1-4 Sacrifice: Temple of Heaven / Temple of Earth / Temple of Xiannong
As the name suggests, it is the three places that honor heaven, earth, land, and agriculture. Among them, the altar of earth is the least playable, and the Fangze altar in the middle is not open to the public at all. It is just a big park. Unless tourists from other places have a lot of affection for Shi Tiesheng, Otherwise don't go.
Tour groups often go to the Temple of Heaven, and there are many buildings and echo walls to talk about.
But I like to go to the Xiannongtan next to the Temple of Heaven. It is now the Ancient Architecture Museum. There are few things about sacrifices in it, but the evolution of Chinese architecture is introduced in detail. Anyway, I went to see the exhibits and introductions inside, and I can plan the next destination of the next ancient architecture tour by the way~
This is the hot sample, that is, the previous architectural model. First build this thing and submit it for approval. After approval, the actual building will be built according to it.
Very gorgeous caisson! I want to lie here and stay still~
But for tourists, I am afraid that the Temple of Heaven is still the first choice~ If you want to take pictures, Xiannongtan is a good choice~ There are few people and the scenery is beautiful
Transportation: Subway Line 5 at the East Gate of the Temple of Heaven, you can directly enter the Temple of Heaven ~ to the west of the Temple of Heaven is Xiannongtan, you can play at once ~
Nearby food: the South Gate of the South Gate of the Temple of Heaven's South Gate shabu-shabu, can also be used as a supplement ~ top!
1-5 Royal Theme Afternoon Tea
Let me recommend Fuhuazhai Pastry Shop~ I like it very much. The gimmick is the craftsmanship handed down from the previous imperial chefs, using the court method to make Beijing snacks. The decoration style of the entire store is also a palace theme, and there is a couch.
Now that it is an Internet celebrity, it seems that it is difficult to have a place~ I like pea yellow, donkey rolling, kidney bean rolls, and dried fruits.
Transportation: Ping'anli Station of Metro Line 4
Nearby delicacies: Liuquanju, Shaguoju, all of which are time-honored brands in Beijing
In addition, there is also a Royal Cuisine Museum in Beijing, where you can watch performances while eating, but you have to gather enough people for a table. After eating, you can also visit the museum inside, all kinds of dishes of the Qing Dynasty royal family, which is quite interesting.
2 Folk culture
This should be to go to different places, the most fun, to understand the folk culture, and to understand this place and the people living on this land.
2-1 Hutongs, Siheyuan
Hutongs and courtyard houses are familiar to anyone who comes to Beijing, even the first impression. Hutongs are actually streets in the old Beijing city, with houses (siheyuan) on both sides, and the aisles between courtyard walls and courtyard walls are roads.
In recent years, hutongs have been thoroughly remodeled and refurbished. I would recommend Dongcheng District. The vicinity of Dongsi Sitiao, Shijia Hutong, Zongbu Hutong, and Dongjiaomin Lane are all good.
The embassy area during the Republic of China was favored by Jiang Wen
Siheyuan model, super cute~
The map of Beiping during the Republic of China, torn apart
Then there is near the Drum Tower, near Houhai. Of course, tourists will go to places like Nanluoguxiang and Yandai Xiejie, but I don’t understand what to see there? Those online celebrity shops that are the same in every city, I don’t know what the meaning of going is.
There are several recommendations for courtyard houses.
One is a courtyard-style hotel/homestay. I prefer the feeling of living in a local dwelling.
The second is the scenic spots, the most representative of which is of course Prince Gong’s Mansion, which is known as the largest courtyard house in Beijing (it should be except for the Forbidden City~hhh).
The third is museums, such as Shijia Hutong Museum and Dongsi Hutong Museum, which are built on the basis of courtyard houses. The former is more traditional and has many old objects as exhibits; the latter is relatively new and looks more like a contemporary art exhibition. .
The fourth is to be a guest in the courtyard and participate in the folk experience. Including feeling the life in the courtyard, especially combined with the latter handicraft to develop a life experience. For example, to experience handicrafts in a courtyard, and then eat noodles with fried sauce. Yes, the fourth type is an advertisement that I forcibly inserted~
The old courtyard house has changed a lot in recent years, the one pictured above has become an old thing....
You must carry mosquito repellent equipment at all times when you enter a courtyard house, but this basket of herbs is obviously useless
Take the little overseas Chinese to learn how to make dumplings in the courtyard
Making candied haws in winter gives me a feeling of happiness~
Draw an old Beijing rabbit master, and then eat dumplings, isn't this what you should do in a courtyard
They can't be missing either~ In winter, I rely on songbirds to add vitality and fun~ I'm going to try raising one this year
2-2 Intangible cultural heritage handicrafts
I think there are two types of handicrafts in Beijing. One is court style, which represents Yanjing Bajue, which are used by the royal family, such as jade carving, tooth carving, gold wire inlay, mother-of-pearl, palace blankets, etc. It is quite different from daily life.
Jade sculptures auctioned at Yanjing Bajue Exhibition
Mother-of-pearl at Yanjing Bajue Exhibition
The Cloisonne Craftsmanship Sold at Yanjing Bajue Exhibition
The other is folk handicrafts, such as rabbit master, hairy monkey, big sand swallow (a unique type of kite in Beijing) and so on.
draw my own rabbit
Favorite Traditional Bunny
Make a pigeon whistle ~ the pigeon whistle is because Beijingers raise pigeons for fun, and you can hear it when you tie a pigeon whistle ~ it is also a commonly used background sound in Beijing-style TV dramas, usually whining
I like hairy monkeys the most. The ingredients are very simple, but they can make all kinds of fun scenes~ this is Chinese New Year
These are the raw materials for making hairy monkeys, can you imagine? This is really the wisdom of the working people!
The miniature face, in the walnut, you can imagine how small it is~
The mane man is a kind of toy in the palace. It is played by the Eight Banners. The mane man on the plate will jump up and down with the beating, as if fighting~ This should be regarded as the earliest Beijing opera peripheral! Ha ha ha ha
Folk handicrafts can be taken home as gifts to relatives and friends. I usually send Master Rabbit to friends from other places, it’s pretty, and there’s something to talk about~
But if you want to play well, it is of course a more unique experience to experience the production yourself. See the advertisement hhh in the previous article for details.
2-3 Eating habits
There is a way of dividing Beijing snacks into three categories: Han snacks, Hui snacks, and palace snacks. I don't think it's unreasonable. As a commoner, I usually come into contact with the first two types.
Han snacks such as fried liver, marinated fire, bean juice burnt rings, noodles with fried sauce, heavy flavors, but this is not the same. At that time, the status of the Han people was low, and they ate offal and minced meat.
Langfang Ertiao’s Xiaochangchen is what I eat every once in a while~One bowl is not enough~
The main reason to go to the Temple of Heaven is to drink soybean juice ~ with the white water mutton at the door. However, almost all tourists are not used to drinking ~ bean soup is also not used to drinking ~
Stir-fried vegetables are headed by Bada Building and Roast Duck. Beijing cuisine does not actually have a unique style. Bada Building and Roast Duck are considered Shandong cuisine, and Beijing flavors are also mixed with Tianjin cuisine. Anyway, it is thick oily red sauce, fresh and salty.
Vinegar Mushu + rice, I can eat a big bowl~
Some time ago, a friend from Fujian came to Beijing. I asked him which one was the best among roast duck, hot-boiled lamb, and noodles with fried sauce these days. He said that the tomato and egg soup from Zhajiangmian restaurant is the best....I really can't laugh or cry
Aiwowo made by hand~
Fried fresh milk, double-skin milk, dried fruit, but a bit too sweet~ But compared to other Internet celebrities, it is still much cheaper!
I think there are more varieties of Hui snacks, such as dim sum such as donkey rolling and Aiwowo, special snacks such as Baoduer, and big dishes such as boiled lamb and grilled pork strips. Many time-honored restaurants are halal restaurants. For example, my favorite old Baikui restaurant, Jubaoyuan, Manhengji, and Baodufeng are all halal.
2-4 Folklore Exhibition Hall of the Capital Museum
After much deliberation, I don't know where to put the folklore exhibition on the top floor of the first expo, so I will start another section.
The folklore exhibition hall on the top floor of the Capital Museum is my favorite exhibition in Beijing.
There are different exhibition halls inside, such as wedding customs, birthday celebrations, childbirth, etc. There are scenes built by various handicrafts, as well as old objects. For understanding Beijing folk customs, I think this is also a must-see place! (It is also the most fun place in the whole first blog)
After viewing this exhibition hall, Beijing folk customs will be clear!
Transportation: Muxidi Exit C of Metro Line 1, very convenient
Nearby food recommendations: Longrenju (Sichuan cuisine restaurant for many years, spicy pork trotters and boiled fish are excellent), Tai Po Tianfu Shanzhen (Yunnan mushroom black chicken hot pot)
3 Chinese Opera, Quyi
Every place has its own unique types of opera and folk art. Beijing is most famous for its quintessence of Peking Opera, plus cross talk, allegro, and single string. In addition to Beijing, Tianjin is also a place where these two types of arts flourish. I myself will go to Tianjin to listen to cross talk and drum music.
3-1 Peking Opera: Tradition, Innovation, In-depth Experience
Just like going to Hangzhou to watch Yue opera, going to Suzhou to listen to Pingtan and Kunqu opera, and going to Chengdu to watch Sichuan opera to change your face, coming to Beijing is suitable for serious listening to opera, but not everyone is willing to listen to opera.
Here are a few recommendations: 1. Lao She Teahouse, there will be skewers every night, a little of the above mentioned, suitable for fast food experience, you can hear everything, listen to the meaning;
2. Liyuan Theater, in the Jianguo Hotel in Beijing, every night there are actors putting on makeup on the stage, and then there is a Beijing opera skewer, basically there are literary and martial arts, some are good-looking and some are good-sounding. It is often watched by a foreigner's team in the past, and the difficulty of viewing and understanding is quite low;
3. Listen to a play seriously. Originally, there used to be Zhengyi Temple, which was a new style of Peking opera. Although the price was high, it was beautiful and interesting, but it was closed this year. You can only choose big theaters, such as Chang'an and Mei Lanfang, but it is difficult to integrate such regular opera performances into tourism. Who is so addicted to running here to listen to 3-hour operas...
The theater building of Zhengyi Temple has been closed, and I don’t know where to see the innovative Peking Opera... It’s a pity
4. An advertisement is needed at this time! A hands-on Peking Opera experience for you!
Communicate face-to-face with male actors, go to his private studio to see his private collection of Peking opera outfits, watch him put on makeup on the spot, talk about tradition and exquisiteness while applying makeup, and then perform a short section. The key is to be able to tell those characters just now after the performance What does the action mean, so that you can really understand a play from zero.
Putting on makeup for Peking Opera actors is a long process, and each step is actually very particular. Behind it is the Chinese understanding of aesthetics
Every figure is a beautiful word! Girls want to feel feminine, and they can actually learn from watching Peking Opera
The air conditioner worn by Beijing opera actors when they act in summer~hhh
Diancui headdress worn by old Beijing opera actors
The Peking Opera in my personal collection is not acceptable~
In the end, I can put on the actor's costume, learn a few movements, and feel the hands, eyes, body, and steps that I have heard before. It's really not that simple. This is definitely a worthwhile Peking Opera experience, and it is better than the previous ones.
can't help but be attracted
There are hundreds of people in the garden, and only 10 people can experience Peking Opera. This kind of ultra-small, ultra-essential Peking Opera experience is really valuable travel content!
Participated more than ten times, each time the feeling is still very fresh, and I feel the beauty of traditional art again and again~
3-2 Allegro, cross talk: the art of lip service
The acceptance threshold for listening to cross talk in the garden is much lower than that of Peking opera, and it is also a more popular art category.
In addition to Laoshe Teahouse, Deyun Club is the first place to listen to cross talk. There are many gardens, and there are performances every night. Just look at the price.
I will go to Guangming Pavilion in Gulou by myself, it is a garden, the most expensive ticket is 100, and I need to buy tea and snacks by myself. The most fun thing is that there is an interactive session ~ the actors are too relaxed ~
According to the usual practice, an advertisement is inserted: Allegro can also experience it!
Just in the courtyard, some Allegro actors are invited to teach you how to play the board, learn the work of the mouth, and perform a work related to Beijing. While feeling the Allegro, I also learned about old Beijing~
This Allegro looks simple, but it actually exercises the brain. After learning it, it may not be easy to become demented~ Beijing dialect and witty words can also be learned in Allegro's works. It's just too much of a test! For those like me who have not let themselves go, just work harder~hhh
3-3 Storytelling, Drum Songs (Jingyun Dagu, Shan Xianer)
It seems that there are no special drum music venues, and they are big venues once a week. For example, Lao She usually listens to local old men and women every Saturday afternoon. Drum music is the storytelling that is sung.
Storytelling is available in Tianqiao and Xuannan Cultural Center, but it is only once a week. It is said that even old Mr. Li Ru and Big Fatty have it. But I can only listen to it for fun, because I only say a part of it each time, and it is not as complete as a cross talk. It is relatively difficult to obtain.
Shanxian is a local folk art in Beijing. I am particularly interested in it, so I bought a collection-level octagonal drum for it! It's a pity that I only learned one "Wind and Rain Returns the Boat" and dropped half of "Beijing Snacks"~
Blind my good drum for nothing!
4 other recommendations
There is also the regional experience content of the capital, including trendy and resource-based, which I think is also worth arranging for progress.
4-1 New and experimental places
Shougang is also renovating the art space of the old factory area represented by 798, and Erqi Factory is also renovating. Chinese contemporary art is not ranked high, but these places look very lively.
This is the previous Ullens Xu Bing Exhibition, which has an experience area, which I quite like!
Watch an experimental play. Dongzhimen Meng Jinghui's Honeycomb Theater is an option. Some pioneers include Gulou West and Fanxing Drama Village, but the quality is different.
(Food near the hive: warm wild vegetables, super hot Japanese hot pot buffet; partner yakiniku, super hot Japanese barbecue buffet. ps: These two are a family, both downstairs in the hive)
PageOne at the front door and flagship store nearby. It is a model for the transformation of the old city, introduce new things with vitality, and settle in the old city.
(Nearby food: very close to Baodufeng and Xiaochangchen, every time I go, I struggle with which one to eat)
4-2 Local characteristic activities: there is really no such thing as going out of this area
Go to Tiananmen Square to watch the flag raising and cultivate a sense of national honor.
Watch a drama about human art.
I took my grandfather to see Bailuyuan, which he misses so much~
Go to the National Museum and see the heavyweight cultural relics on display.
The biggest advantage of Beijing is high-quality resources. World-class exhibitions and works of famous artists have the opportunity to come here. If you come to Beijing for tourism, don’t miss it if you catch up
National Expo Transportation: Get off at Tiananmen East Station of Metro Line 1. Be sure to book tickets online in advance, otherwise you will have to queue for a long time in peak season! Bring enough dry food! It's too big inside, it's easy to get tired~
Go to Qingbei and pick out your future/regretfully missed alma mater. hhh
In Weiming Lake, you can enjoy flowers in spring, mandarin ducks in mid-spring, water in summer, yellow leaves in autumn, and ice skating in winter! ! !
5 What restaurants do Beijingers eat?
Let me share the food that I often eat, and I will also bring friends from other places to eat~
Hot-boiled lamb: Manhengji, Jubaoyuan, Nanmen hot-boiled pork
And the three brothers Yudefu and Peiping
Man Heng Kee is the mutton mutton that I have eaten most often in the past two years, and now it ranks first in terms of taste. It is especially suitable for bringing friends from other places to eat, and the taste is relatively positive. Especially the hairy belly inside, it should be the best I have ever eaten. In addition to hand-cut, high calcium is also good. In addition, the lamb scorpion in clear soup is very good, you can order a lamb scorpion hot pot. I can't appreciate the sesame paste sugar cake, and the high-calorie soup is still mouth-watering. The only disadvantage here is that the queue is too long, you can get a number online in advance before going. When waiting at the door, you can buy vegetarian meatballs~
Traffic: If you drive, you can only park on the side of the road, which is very inconvenient. You can take Metro Line 4/Line 6 and get off at Xisi Station, which is very close
Jubaoyuan recently opened a Teto branch, so there is no need to wait in line. Go to the branch in South Railway Station to eat, and it tastes similar to the old store. I feel that the most delicious is the biscuits... I can't control myself every time...
Yudefu has a very small door, and reservations are not allowed except for the first batch. But the hand cut is great!
Transportation: Beixinqiao Station of Metro Line 5, if the first batch arrives at 5:30, you have to wait for a seat
The Three Brothers of Peking, which has the most delicious lamb tendons I have ever eaten! It will not harden after a long time of cooking. I still remember that when I went to eat for the first time, I ran over in the snow and queued up. The store opened another place, first took the lamb skewers as the bottom, and then started to boil the lamb tendons. The feeling of that kind of fragrance is simply unforgettable for a lifetime. I haven't eaten such delicious lamb skewers and lamb tendons since then.
Nanmen shabu-shabu, Houhai, Tiantan Nanmen and Ditan Riverside have eaten all three. The familiar taste has no merits and demerits. It is not wrong to go there when you don’t know what to eat.
Roast Duck: Duck Craftsman, Four Seasons People's Blessing, Four Generations Under One Roof
Duck Craftsman is so delicious every once in a while! This is usually the place to invite out-of-town friends or business partners for dinner. There is nothing to complain about the roast duck, but the salt and pepper duck rack is really not good. Having said that, I have never eaten a delicious duck rack... The only disadvantage is that there is no elevator upstairs, which is inconvenient for the elderly. The menu has been changed this year, there is no kimchi, I am disappointed~
Four Seasons Minfu and Four Generations Living under one roof are also good, but the environment is a bit noisy.
Beijing (or non-Beijing) snacks that you may not be used to
Small intestine Chen. Hungry for this as soon as I get near the front door. This is also one of the few places where it is acceptable to eat garlic. The happiest thing in my dream is the appearance of those big men in the store, alone, with a bowl of stewed soup and a bottle of xiaoer.
Baodu Feng has divided the stomachs of beef and sheep very carefully... I don’t even remember what I want~ But just ask the store, just choose a chewy one!
Anne's old horse sells for a while. When I ate it for the first time, I was amazed. The mutton stuffing was sold for a while, and it was very fragrant, but it was very salty, the kind of salty that can’t be returned with any amount of vinegar. It seems that they are all ordered now, so the waiting time slightly longer. And the haggis soup and egg soup are not good. The second time I went, it was not salty after a while, but it was not fragrant, so strange. I don't know if it will be delicious or not next time.
Old Ciqikou Bean Juice at the North Gate of the Temple of Heaven. This is the only soy juice I've ever drank that's also acceptable. There is also a halal shop at the door, where you can buy sheep eyes, sheep brains and all kinds of cattle and sheep. I usually buy some of these, and then go in and ask for a casserole, a set of bean juice burnt rings and spicy pickle shreds, so delicious. Bean soup is also good. Once I went there, a tourist sat next to me, drinking and complaining, probably because I read some recommendations. In fact, this is the taste of Beijing snacks. Some people are used to eating them, while others are not. Even if they are children in Beijing, there are many people who don't drink bean juice or bean soup...
I think living in another place is enough to maintain respect for the place. It is normal to have food that I don't like, it's just an experience.
This is his brother of bean juice - motofu.
In fact, there are Beijing snacks such as hemp tofu, fried enema, fried crunch, etc., but apart from homemade ones, I really haven’t eaten anything worth recommending... This is actually quite sad~
Time-honored brand: Where to go for family dinners of Beijing uncles and aunts
I don't eat many innovative dishes, but I am more familiar with traditional ones.
Baikui's old name, Jiaodaokou two. I prefer the one farther from the intersection. Braised lamb's brain in soy sauce, alfalfa in vinegar, very familiar taste.
Emei Restaurant, Kung Pao Chicken, dry roasted yellow croaker. I will choose this restaurant for dinner with more intimate friends. There is a discount on the roast duck, but forget it... the old two are enough.
Liuquanju, the price is expensive, but the taste is so good! Bean buns, all kinds of corn buns, fried three kinds... I only ate it once, but I often go to the window to buy bean buns and steamed buns for breakfast.
Chicken jumping, according to Beijing's exquisiteness, it is suitable for summer, and the color is relatively light and pleasant
Old Xi'an Restaurant. Soaked mutton + kebabs with a little fat, especially healing! Just this ration is enough to have a sweet dream.
Regional dishes and barbecue, crayfish
Long Renju, a Sichuan restaurant that has been open for a long time, I have eaten at six or seven new branches opened in the past two years. Boiled fish, loin slices, pig's trotters, it's just right! ! !
Tianfu Shanzhen is just next to the old Longrenju store. After going to the first expo, I will choose these two. Black-bone chicken soup with wild mountain delicacies. cure!
Dongsi Spicy Crab, the store in Dongsi is closed, and a new one opened in Dengshikou. You must drink a lot when you go... Crabs don't matter, the key is that other dishes in fried crabs are too delicious! An important option when colleagues want to drink.
Charcoal grilled leg of lamb, the second option for drinking. But the air is not circulating, and there are always people smoking.
Jiaodong Big Pot Seafood, the first choice if you want to eat small seafood outside. Good quality and low price.
The old taste of Yunnan, a small Yunnan restaurant downstairs from our house. I only learned about it this year, and so far, I have eaten it twenty times. Addictive taste.
Isn’t it the crayfish season recently? I recommend Spicy Temptation and Hu Da. The spicy and tempting steamed crayfish should be regarded as the cleanest in Beijing... and it is a live shrimp. Even if it’s his house, some of the takeaway spicy crayfish are not live shrimps... and Hu Da is really delicious. The only time I go out to eat spicy crayfish is Hu Da. It feels clean and smells good. Others, I really dare not try.
I have been living and eating in Beijing, and I have eaten at many places, but I really think about it, what I would like to eat, and what I am willing to recommend to others, are the above. It's really hard to develop something new!
The above is about the travel in Beijing and the recommendation of food~ I hope you can feel the heritage and beauty of this city~
If you have any questions about Beijing tourism, please leave a message or private message
