Have you heard of Nyalam in Tibet? If not, then you must have heard of Zhangmu Port.

Nyalam, located in Mount Everest Nature Reserve, belongs to Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region, and borders Nepal to the south. Nyalam County governs 2 towns and 5 townships, one of which is Zhangmu Town.

Zhangmu Port, located in Zhangmu Town, is only more than 90 kilometers away from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Before the Yi epidemic, many foreign tourists used this as their gateway to Tibet or out of Tibet.

Nyalam County is located in Chongdui Village, Nyalam Town, 443 kilometers away from Shigatse City, 780 kilometers away from Lhasa City, and 140 kilometers away from the capital of Nepal.

It takes about 7 hours to drive from downtown Shigatse to Nyalam County. "The gateway to South Asia, the hometown of Xifeng", the Xifeng mentioned here is the Xishapangma Peak with an altitude of 8012 meters.

This is the 14th among the 14 8,000-meter-level peaks in the world, and it is also the only 8,000-meter-level mountain that is completely in China.

Although the road was long, the scenery along the way was extremely beautiful. Stopped to take pictures, the wind at the pass was very strong, blowing colorful prayer flags.

Travel to Nyalam, because this is a border county in Shigatse, Tibet, you need to apply for a border defense certificate, and you will pass through several border checkpoints along the way.

In addition to the well-known Zhangmu Port, China-Nepal Friendship Bridge, and Shishapangma Peak, my favorite is Pekutso, and there is a small village next to Pekutso, which looks indifferent to the world.

Peikucuo is also called Peikucuo, and it is correct no matter how you write it. This is an alpine lake with an area of about 300 square kilometers and an altitude of 4590 meters. It is the largest inland lake in the Everest Reserve.

I had breakfast in Nyalam County that day, and drove to Pekutso by myself, more than 160 kilometers, about two and a half hours by car.

Along the way, we will pass through several villages in Nyalam County. People are warmed by the sunshine of the plateau in winter. This kind of self-driving road is quite comfortable.

Pekutso at first glance was quite amazing.

Pekutso is located at the junction of Jilong County and Nyalam County. Although compared with Namtso, Manasarovar, Selin, Yamdrok, etc., Pekutso is not really famous, but I personally prefer such a relatively small travel destination.

Standing on the Pekutso viewing platform, there is the reflection of Shishapangma Peak. Although the lake was not calm that day, the unforgettable blue color of the lake is really beautiful.

Pekutso represents auspiciousness, surrounded by mountains on three sides and open terrain. It is said that the lake is rich in fish resources. Because no one is fishing, the Tibetan compatriots on the lakeside do not eat fish either.

But besides the beautiful scenery, I prefer the local culture.

Next to Pekutso, there is a small village called Labu Village. There are a total of 251 people in the village, all of whom are Tibetan compatriots. From a distance, the village is very small, and there is a red and white temple on the height of the village.

Tibet in winter is mostly cloudless, with little rain and relatively dry.

Park the car and go for a walk in the village. There are neatly arranged Tibetan-style houses and red flags flying. The snow-white walls reflect the blue sky.

I love traveling, and I love hanging out like this. Without a strategy, walking in a strange place, there will be surprises everywhere.

In front of the doors of each Tibetan-style hut, there are patterns of ethnic characteristics painted, the color matching is very beautiful, and they are all hand-painted.

When the children in the village saw us, they all surrounded us with shy smiles.

Because I really like it, I also broadcast Rabu Village live to my friends and fans that day. Follow my lens and experience this small Tibetan village that is indifferent to the world.

The walls were covered with cow dung, and an old Tibetan woman was cooking a pot of feed in the sun. Cow dung is a treasure in the hearts of Tibetans, and they are often seen.

The two boys rode bicycles one after the other, lamenting that this kind of childhood is the real childhood, not on the way to cram school.

An old lady at the entrance of the village is spinning thread, which is unbleached pure wool thread. Their sweaters are basically woven by themselves, using the threads spun by themselves, and the warmth is purely handmade.

Every local here expressed goodwill to us, with a simple smile, and was tanned black and red by the plateau sun.

I am not afraid of the camera, and I like to take pictures together.

I took a group photo with the local 84-year-old grandpa. He introduced the situation of Rabu Village to us in Tibetan. Fortunately, we have a friend who can understand Tibetan to translate.

The old man wears a red hat and has deep wrinkles on his forehead. He said that when he was young, he traveled to many places, including Lhasa.

In Labu Village, I also met the Tibetan version of the little "Ding Zhen", 19 years old, named Nima Tsering. He is tall and handsome, his smile is quite healing, and his eyes are pure.

I asked him, did he go to school? He said no. Ask again: Are you in love? He turned his face away shyly.

From Rabu Village, you can walk to the lake of Pekutso, and you can feel the blue at close range. The sky is blue, the lake is blue, and the mood is extremely beautiful.

The special products of Rabu Village are wild onions and highland barley. I also went to the rural credit cooperatives in the village, which is also a point established by Everest E-commerce in the village. The shelves here are full of finished wild onions.

Wild onion is also called snow mountain onion, and it is called "how to make up" in Tibetan. This is a pure natural green food grown at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters. Tibetans use it to stew soup, pasta, and stir-fry.

Because of the unique climate in the region, many snow-capped green onions are planted in the entire Rab Village. Such a large box of snow mountain green onions that can last for a year only costs more than 60 yuan.

Mount Everest e-commerce in Shigatse, integration of agriculture and tourism. "The smell of wine is also afraid of deep alleys." I sincerely hope that more people will know about the green and healthy agricultural products on the Snowy Plateau.
