The lonely smoke in the desert is straight, and the sun is setting in the long river.

People who come to Ningxia to travel should be like me, yearning for the roughness and desolation of the Northwest. This summer, I finally have time to spend time with my girlfriends, let go of the trivial things in life, let time go slowly, and go to see the uprightness of the Northwest. Pinpin the feelings of the desert...

It was almost noon when I arrived in Yinchuan. I was a little worried before. I didn’t know what kind of city Yinchuan is and how the hotel conditions are, but I felt relieved when I arrived. I posted some pictures of our two rooms, don’t they look great~

Before the trip, I paid attention to the official account of Ningxia Tourism Express on WeChat, booked the bus and tickets, and felt that this suits my style better – I don’t want to be bound by a tour group, but I also want a convenient car, so I don’t have to search for a station all over the world.

Take a short rest and prepare to set off for the first stop, Zhenbeibao Film and Television City. After confirming the time of the through train, we set off with our girlfriends. The tourist distribution center of the through train is not far from the hotel. There are 24 minibuses. They are lined up neatly in the square. The boarding is very clean, the air conditioner is full, there are not many people, and the bus departs on time. There is actually a tour guide explaining, this is very unexpected, and I also enjoyed the benefits of being with a group, which gave me a beautiful start to this free travel~

(Figure 9)

The tour guide said: The black marble signboard is engraved with this slogan in 7 languages: Chinese, English, French, German, Spanish, Arabic and Japanese -- Chinese movies go out to the world from here. From the through-train tour guide, I learned that the three films "Wrangler", "Red Sorghum" and "Yellow River Ballad" were awarded awards in international film festivals in the early 1980s, when film art formed a global unified pattern. It was from these few films that Chinese films entered the world market, and these three films were all filmed in Zhenbeibao Western Studios. The unique, majestic, desolate, tragic, dilapidated, and undefeated scene of the ancient castle is maintained and utilized here, highlighting its sense of desolation, loess flavor, and primitive and folk aesthetic connotations. It retains its special aesthetic value, allowing film artists to give full play to their imagination and creativity in this western scenery...

In the corridor of a movie still, the lanterns are fluttering in the wind, as if time really slowed down.

(Figure 11)

Zhenbeibao Film and Television City is divided into three parts: Mingcheng, Qingcheng and Laoyinchuan Street. Mingcheng was built in 1500 AD. It was one of the many military fortresses built along the northwest line of the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty. In 1738, the Zhenbeibao Barracks was destroyed by an earthquake. Mingcheng is famous for its original, rough, simple, desolate and natural appearance, and it mainly displays the famous film and TV shooting scenes. Here are the filming locations of "The Wrangler", the Cultural Revolution Compound, the famous Moon Gate, Guanzhong City Gate, Firewood Shop, Pansi Cave, Dingzhou Governor's Mansion, Wine Workshop, Jiu'er's Room, Blacksmith Camp, Ruins Gallery, Marriage Recruiting Platform, and Longmen Inn.

Qingcheng was built in 1740 A.D., and was ordered by Emperor Qianlong to build a barracks made of loess with stone rams. "Qingcheng" looks like a big tortoise, climbing down from Helan Mountain, which means "spiritual turtle descending the mountain, good luck". In Qingcheng, there are Wengcheng, Lucky Gate, Mysterious Cave, Baihuatang, Film and Television Street, Ancient Castle Gua, Dudu Mansion, Bull Devil Palace, Guanyin Pavilion, Exhibition Hall, Star Kennel, and Gaozi Pavilion.

The Moon Gate in Mingcheng is a shot in the movie "Red Sorghum". I still remember that in the picture, at dusk, a round of bright moon hangs high in the night sky. On such a rough loess plateau, it looks like a banner facing the wind, lonely , Magnificent, I think director Zhang Yimou made this scene appear repeatedly, and his implication is to appreciate this lonely and stubborn beauty. Under this "Moon Gate", I seem to hear "Sister, you go forward boldly"...

(Figure 21)

When you come here, you have to go to some scenes of "A Chinese Journey to the West". I have been playing Kalimba (thumb piano) recently, and a public account I follow has pushed the theme song "The Love of My Life" from "A Chinese Journey to the West". Under the pavilion, or leaning against the peach blossom tree, play a song "Love of My Life", listen to the oath of "10,000 years in love", and feel the tragic love of comedy.

(Figure 23)

A street in Old Yinchuan is based on the replica of the original "Ningxia National Government", commonly known as "Ma Hongkui's Mansion". In the streets and alleys, tourists can enjoy the old appearance of Yinchuan three-dimensionally. The street is 120 meters long, and the shops on both sides of the street are divided into 6 halls of 400-500 square meters: there are Yinchuan City History Exhibition, Fire Science Popularization Education Exhibition, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Small Commodities, Small Food, and Small Accessories Stores - Xinqiqi, Chengtian Temple Theater etc.

The street has a very strong sense of history, artists blowing sugar paintings on the street, Helan stone sculptors who are indifferent to the world, and female tourists wearing cheongsams who will turn back time...

For two or three hours, at the end of the tour of the film and television city, I ate Ningxia's specialty - mutton in the city, and finally understood the Chinese on the tip of my tongue. It is the most delicious, because the mutton in different places has its own characteristics. For example, the mutton in Inner Mongolia must have a strong smell to feel fragrant, while the mutton in Ningxia has no smell at all. The meat is fresh and tender, with a good taste, and the soup color is very Qing, I can't help but have two more bowls. After the delicious food, the through train will drive to the next stop - the petroglyphs of Helan Mountain in Ningxia.

(Figure 28)

(Figure 29)

Only after seeing the rock paintings did I understand the phrase "Time is aphasic, but stones can speak", and I was deeply touched. Most of the petroglyphs record ordinary life. One can imagine how pious the ancient people were, loving every day of life, and why do we not love our beautiful life today? It is a pity that many petroglyphs were washed away due to a heavy rain, which made me take every step here very carefully. Fortunately, I did not miss this spiritual cleansing.

(Figure 30)

The day's itinerary is over, very happy, very fulfilling, but also very tired. The sun in the northwest is too harsh, so sun protection must be done adequately. Looking forward to tomorrow's historical feast at the Xixia King's Mausoleum.

The museum explains in detail the historical and cultural changes of Xixia.

(Figure 36)

When I saw Xixia's writing, I found it very interesting and stopped for a long time. I heard from the tour guide that the writing of Xixia is the writing that records the language of the Tangut tribe in Xixia. It is an ideographic system combined with pictographs.

She has a nice name: Kalavinka. Translated as Miaosheng bird, it is said that it is a bird that inhabits snow-capped mountains or the pure land of bliss. It is a half-human, half-bird image that is often mentioned in Buddhist scriptures and often shown in Buddhist art.

Swallow's Nest, haha, post-80s, don't you feel very affectionate? Dare to ask who didn't pick it up when he was a child?

The explanation of the tour guide lady is still very moving. Friends who are interested in history will leave a lot of impressions here.

(Figure 50)

It is said that the royal mausoleums of the Western Xia Dynasty "do not grow grass, nor do birds fall." This is indeed the case. In August, the highest temperature in Ningxia is around 30 degrees. Other places are lush with lush trees, birds and flowers. According to the tour guide, it is because the soil of the outer mausoleum is mixed with repeatedly steamed glutinous rice, so that the mausoleum will not be covered by weeds for thousands of years, and it is also the reason why there is no grass around it.

At the foot of Helan Mountain, the sky is bright and the air is clear, and there are bursts of camel bells. I really want to seize the time, please walk slowly...

Goodbye, Damei Yinchuan, I will definitely feel your youth and grandeur when I have a chance in the future!
