This trip to the Nalati Grassland, the most surprising encounter was not the Kazakh cuisine, nor the sea of flowers in the sky grassland, but a place called Tausani.
At the beginning of May, I returned to Xinjiang again. This is my 20th trip to Xinjiang. This time, apart from Urumqi, I only went to the Nalati Grassland in Ili.
Nalati Scenic Area is located in Xinyuan County, Yili, Xinjiang. It is a national 5A-level scenic area and one of the six most beautiful grasslands in the country.
In fact, there are many grasslands in Xinjiang, why go to Nalati?
Because the flowers on the prairie are all in bloom, and because the traffic here is very convenient, it takes a direct flight from Urumqi Airport to Nalati Airport, and it takes an hour to arrive by car after landing.
Nalati in May is the season of early summer, and the grasslands in the sky of Nalati have already bloomed everywhere.
The Nalati Grassland is one of the four major alpine valley grasslands in the world. Here, it is a paradise for cattle, sheep and horses.
But this trip to the Nalati Grassland, the most surprising encounter was not the Kazakh cuisine, nor the sea of flowers in the sky grassland, but a place called Tausani.
Tawusani is the first stop to enter the grassland of the Nalati River Valley, and it is also my favorite stop.
"Tavusani" is Kazakh, meaning "beautiful valley". There is a beautiful picture of "one mountain and four scenery" here, and it is a beautiful picture if you take a picture.
In Tausani, cattle and sheep are in herds. They seem to be used to tourists, even if you are very close, they will not run away in fear.
You can snap a few photos on the grass with herds of horses and sheep in the background.
There are many artistic landscaping in Tawusani, which is very suitable for girls' concave shapes.
This wall full of patterns is called "Eternal Garden", and many people will take pictures here.
The artist combined the patterns and color elements of local folklore to draw hundreds of different tree trunks, and some even attached mirrors to reflect the dazzling light in the sun.
On the green grass, various colored stones are scattered. This work of art is called "Following the Stones for Colors".
Artists use stones that can be seen everywhere to create, and according to the shape of the stone itself, use traditional Kazakh patterns to decorate stones of various shapes into colorful patterns.
The traditional patterns of the Kazakhs have brilliant colors, and the Nalati Grassland is "the grassland with the largest population of Kazakhs", accounting for one-tenth of the Kazakh population in the country.
Kazakhs are famous for their hospitality, singing and dancing, and they still retain the simple and rich folk customs and rich and long-standing grassland culture.
Further forward is the Wusun Historic Site.
Here is my favorite dead tree landscaping, which is really suitable for taking portraits! It's even better if it's at sunset.
Dead trees, grasslands, blue sky, white clouds... just sit there and it will be a beautiful photo.
After a while, there was music, which turned out to be a live performance of "Prairie Living Room". Looking at the reputation of the music, this room only has a frame, no walls and ceilings, which is very interesting.
The sofa in this prairie living room is made of straw rope, which is very coordinated with the whole scene.
The band is called Nalati Band, and they regularly sing Kazakh songs to tourists at the Wusun Monuments. Although I can't understand the lyrics, I think it sounds very good.
This kind of live performance feels really good, and I suddenly fell in love with the melody of Kazakh songs, which is very cheerful. After the singers of the Nalati band finished singing, I couldn't help but ran up to ask for a photo with them.
That day, I also met a shy little Kazakh girl who was only five years old. She danced a Kazakh dance for us, under the sun and on the grass.
Kazakh clothing is brightly colored. Historically, the vast majority of Kazakhs lived a nomadic life of living in water and grass, so their clothing has strong characteristics of grassland pastoral life.
Kazakh women like to use white, red, green, and light blue for their clothing. They are generally dresses with wide hemlines, which are particularly beautiful when twirled.
Nature is healing.
In such a time, it seems that there is nothing to think about, nothing to remember. The clouds are calm and the wind is light, only the cattle and sheep on the grass, screaming one after another.
When you come here, whether you like to take pictures or not, you will involuntarily pick up your mobile phone to record the beautiful scenery in front of you.
In sight, the smiling faces of the family of three who came to Nalati for a trip under the flower tree are very enviable.
"There are flowers in spring, fruits in summer, beautiful scenery in autumn, and snow in winter."
Thinking of the last time I came to Nalati, it was winter, and everything was covered with snow. The deepest memory is eating Kazakh food in Dongwozi, eating mutton accompanied by singing.
After a few months, after the spring when everything grows, I came back here again.
The sights of Tausani and Wusun monuments everywhere are definitely a surprise encounter during this trip to Nalati. Looking back, the Spring Breeze Pavilion is as beautiful as a painting.
Thinking that if there is a woman wearing a Hanfu and passing by, I will never forget that I am in Xinjiang at this moment. Yili deserves the reputation of "Jiangnan beyond the Great Wall".
"Ili is beautiful, surrounded by high mountains, shaded by silver fir trees, and the Guozigou where wild flowers are fragrant and fruity are fragrant.
Yili is very beautiful, the beauty is in the clear blue that is glimpsed by accident in the barren world, and the beauty is in the unforgettable Sailimu Lake when it was first encountered.
Yili is very beautiful. In early summer, the green waves surge, the sea of flowers stretches, and the Nalati grassland is full of grass and sheep. "
Nalati can satisfy all your dreams of the grassland! And if you come to the Nalati Grassland, you must not miss the quiet Tawusani like an oil painting and the Wusun historic site where you can meet the Nalati band.
