Every cloud has its own shadow. Just like the world is barren, there is always someone who is your believer.
In this huge desert, the emptiness that can't be seen, how many rains can leave the veins of a river?
Thirty thousand feet, time and space. I never asked about the meaning of travel, just like you never asked, would you remember?
On the flight to Urumqi, I was seated by the window, looking at me in a daze outside the window, and recorded my mood at that time in words.
Again and again, fly to the beloved land of Xinjiang. It has been less than a month since the last time I left. This time, for the four words in my heart: Duku Highway.
Don't know who will be carpooling? Don't know what to expect? Just a one-way ticket is the beginning of this trip.
From Dushanzi, the starting point of the Duku Highway, to the Qiaoerma Checkpoint, and then to the Nalati Grassland.
When I stood on this grassland full of flowers again, looking at the few free-spirited cows in front of me, thinking that I have seen Nalati's appearance in spring, summer, autumn and winter, it is also a kind of attachment.
The lamb on the top of the mountain licked my hand and looked at me with innocent eyes. In Yili, Xinjiang, where the spring and summer are transitioning, the temperature is just right, and you need to wear a coat.
Driving from Nalati to Tekes Bagua City, I once stood quietly on the deserted hillside behind the mountain.
In Xinjiang, which has 1/6 of the country's land area but only about 1/60 of the country's population, emptiness is the norm. In the line of sight, there is a spreading, deep and shallow green.
I suddenly felt a little tired and wanted to stay, on the day I arrived at Bagua City.
This city can be called the largest and most complete Bagua city in the world, and is famous for its layout of Bagua. The layout of the streets is like a magical maze, with interconnected roads and connected streets. I flew the drone to 500 meters, but still couldn't see the whole picture.
This is a city without traffic lights, and many tourists will stop here for a short time.
From here you can go to Qiongkushi Terrace, Huocheng Lavender, Zhaosu Rapeseed Flowers, Xiata Ancient Road, and the three major grasslands of Ili: Kalajun, Bayinbulak, Nalati... It is very convenient.
01 Encounter with a hospital by chance
It was purely an accident to meet Tekes Youyuan·Sanweiji. I was looking for local accommodation on the Internet, and accidentally found a newly opened homestay. I was delighted at first glance.
Have you changed your travel plans because of a nice homestay? I have. I was going to keep going, but I stayed in this homestay for three days and two nights, and I was reluctant to leave.
It was evening when we arrived at Yuin Sanweiji. This homestay is in a village, and there are many Uighur children playing in the alley after school.
The little girl's name was Natasha, and she was always called "sister, sister". Taking pictures of her, and posing in various poses, is quite generous.
The dinner that day was at the hotel, and I added a pair of bowls and chopsticks. During the period, the children gathered around and asked about this and that. The new friend "Da Qi" said that these children often come to play in the homestay.
Simple meals, plus chatting without saying a word. Here, no one knows who I am or where I am going.
02 two rooms
Youyuan·Sanweiji has only 12 rooms in total, because I stayed for two nights, I chose a different room. The first night stayed in the "Swaying Tree Shadow King Bed Room", located on the first floor.
The room is not big, and when you open the door, there is a sense of warmth created by many fabrics of different textures.
But there is a super stylish bathroom, which is almost as big as the room, and the color matching is very individual.
The bathtub is made of cement and looks rustic. Outside the shutters, tree shadows swayed, echoing the name of the room.
In the corner, the details of the toiletries are very thoughtful, and you can see the care of the owner of the homestay.
On the second night, I moved to a room called "Mujiu Moonlight Queen Room" on the second floor. There is no bed, it is a tatami.
There are local fresh fruits thoughtfully placed in the house, and I like to sit in the corner like this, eating fruits, the time when I have nothing to do.
There is also a concrete bathtub in the bathroom, where you can drink a glass of wine while soaking in the bath.
In fact, every room in Youyuan·Sanweiji has a very good appearance.
I thought that if I have the opportunity to come to Turks next time, I would book a "big bed room with terrace and mountain" in advance for one night. I like the terrace very much.
03 Living in a courtyard
For a whole day, I stayed in Youyuan·Sanweiji and didn’t go out. Drinking tea, reading, dazed, chatting... completely empty.
It is worth mentioning that in the room registered at the front desk of the homestay, on the table at the entrance, there are all kinds of local candies, biscuits, Xinjiang pancakes, fresh fruits... The guests can take whatever they want.
I like this living room very much, there is a wooden fireplace, and the glass jars on the wall are neatly arranged.
All furniture is handmade. Old, rough solid wood, plus fabrics with local decorative patterns, make you calm and slow down.
The jars on the wall contain all kinds of dried fruits from Xinjiang: raisins, paper-skinned walnuts, almonds, rose tea... "Daqi" said that he will make fruit wine in the future and slowly fill up the wall .
Talked to her for a long time. This homestay was slowly polished by five young people for nearly a year. I asked: "There is a courtyard" because of the courtyard outside, so why is it called "Sanweiji"?
She said: "Sanwei refers to the taste of utensils, the taste of the four seasons, and the taste of human feelings. The homestay is like a rich container, which holds all kinds of tastes in the world."
The yard is full of fruit trees and vegetables, just because they have not been planted for a long time, and the supports have not yet been covered. My favorite is in the afternoon, waiting for the sun to slant west, nestling in the yard.
This corner is my favorite in the whole Youyuan·Sanweiji.
If you are three or five friends, it is very pleasant to drink afternoon tea here. There are barbecue grills and ovens on the side, which is also good for a small party.
That afternoon, one of the hostesses of the homestay, my new friend "Da Qi" sat across from me, without disturbing each other. If you think of something, just talk a few words.
I also met Brother Zhi Wei who is not very talkative, with a warm smile. There is also "Chucheng", a volunteer at the homestay, who asked him to click a few photos for me, and leave a picture of me here.
04 Wander around
Almost every June 9th, I fly to Xinjiang to see lavender in Huocheng, Ili. So I am no stranger to Turks Bagua City.
If you come to Turks, you can go shopping in Lijie.
Lijie is a very artistic neighborhood, and it can be reached within ten minutes on foot from Youyuan·Sanweiji, where I live.
At the place where I took a photo last time, I asked Passerby A to help me press a photo with the same background to commemorate my arrival again.
Coincidentally, the contrast between a white suit and a black suit is very strong.
This literary block is very suitable for wandering, the kind that is not afraid of getting lost, and every small scene is very suitable for girls to take pictures.
In the evening, walking from Li Street to Tekes Food Street, you will pass the center of the entire Bagua City, which is the building in the picture below.
On the food street, due to the impact of the epidemic, the once lively scene disappeared.
But you can still order a cup of kvass here, or order two bottles of Dawusu and order some kebabs. Pepper chicken, fried pork noodles and other Xinjiang specialties can be found here.
At 22:30 in the evening, not long after the sunset, the sky was still blue. Walk alone in the streets and alleys of Turks, watching the locals walk or chat.
These years are quiet and beautiful. In Xinjiang, how hard-won it is!
05 Night in the courtyard
Back to Youyuan·Sanweiji, the warm lights at the door seem to be waiting for my return.
This road has been walked back and forth many times. From strange to familiar, like the people here.
"Have you eaten yet?" Da Qi's voice came, as if they had known each other for a long time. B&Bs are like this, with a unique temperature.
The kitchen has been cleaned up, remembering the details of last night when they rolled the dice and washed the dishes if they lost. Sitting in the yard drinking tea, there were a few new faces.
Because of that Duku Highway, I embarked on a journey alone. Because of those people in the homestay, I still miss the time in Turks at this moment.
If you pass by Tekes, you can, like me, completely empty out in Youyuan·Sanweiji. Only similar people will choose here, maybe you can make a few new friends.
Hi, I am thoughtful, a woman from Suzhou, I like traveling and photography, and I would like to share with you some of the journey.
