Tengqiao Town, located in the west of Lucheng District, is an important part of Wenzhou metropolitan area, 15 kilometers away from the city center. Tengqiao has a long history and numerous historic sites, among which the Caowanshan Site, a national cultural relic protection unit, is of great significance to the study of the Neolithic Age in southern Zhejiang. Tengqiao Town is also an ecological and livable new town with comprehensive development of characteristic industry, trade and leisure industries. A pilot town for urban-rural reform.
Under Xiao Zhongge's guide, let's walk into the "Dongou Hometown Damei Rattan Bridge".
The "Two Mountains" Park in the hometown of Dongou,
Represents the distant Ou culture
The "two mountains" in Tengqiao refer to the two mountains of Caowan Mountain and Yuer Mountain in the territory.
Caowan Mountain, also known as Mouse Mountain, is a small mountain beside the Shupu River in Tengqiao, with an altitude of only 61 meters and a total area of 36 hectares. Such a small mountain bears the heavy history of Ou people's ancestors. This is the site of the ancestors of Oudi in the Neolithic Age. In May 2013, the Caowanshan site was approved and announced by the State Council as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. The Caowanshan site is a settlement site belonging to the late Haochuan culture, with 4 overlapping cultural layers dating back about 4,000 years. In November 2002, under the auspices of the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology, Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics and Wenzhou Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics Protection and Archaeology jointly excavated the site.

The Yuershan site is located in the north of Shangsi West Village, Tengqiao Town. In 2019, the archaeological excavation at the Yuershan site in Wenzhou was selected as one of the top ten important archaeological discoveries in Zhejiang in 2019. The total area of the Yuershan site is about 5,000 square meters, and it is confirmed as a small cemetery and settlement site of the Haochuan culture in the late Neolithic age. The excavation area of the site is 700 square meters, and the main discoveries can be divided into the remains of the Haochuan culture and the Han and Six Dynasties.

Right now, Tengqiao is planning the Ou Cultural Heritage Park centered on the Caowanshan site and the Yuershan site. Among them, the preliminary design of the Caowanshan Museum has been completed, and the Caowanshan Waterfront Park has been built at the foot of the mountain.
If you want to understand the history of Wenzhou people, in the near future, the "Two Mountains" Park in Fujiqiao is the place you have to go, because this is the place where human activities were first discovered in downtown Wenzhou.
