foreword
Spring in Xinjiang always comes and goes quietly.
In March, northern Xinjiang is still frozen for thousands of miles, but in Tuokesun, a corner of southern Xinjiang, apricot blossoms have already bloomed, blooming the whole spring.
The memory of apricot blossoms can be traced back to elementary school. I remember that there were a few apricot trees on the campus of the elementary school. When the flowers bloomed, they never attracted our attention. Even when they were fruiting, we never saw a single apricot. .
Every year when the flowers bloom, southern Xinjiang is in March, and northern Xinjiang is in April. Neither the southern nor the northern Xinjiang are close, so I thought about giving up. This year, I suddenly wanted to go, and hit it off with the head of the family, and immediately decided on the itinerary - to go to Tuokesun to see the apricot blossoms.
about me
I am a native of Xinjiang. I love traveling and self-driving tours with my family. I don’t like to enter scenic spots. I insist that the beautiful scenery is always outside the scenic spot. I love words. Every time I come back from a trip, I always like to leave written records, but I have kept them privately and never published them. I love photography, but my skills are not good. Fortunately, I have a lover who is on the same path as me, and I can always hit it off. There is a sticky little tail - my daughter, wherever I go, always follow there, and act as my model during the journey.
In addition to the scenic spots introduced by the government, there are more scenic spots hidden in places that are not scenic spots in Xinjiang, and we dig them out with our own meager strength to show you a different and beautiful Xinjiang.

Brief itinerary
I searched the route map on the map and decided to leave early on the morning of the 23rd.
Set off
Early in the morning on the 23rd, my friend came to the house and waited to join us. It's Saturday, and it's the time to see apricot blossoms. As soon as I got on the road, I found that there were too many cars on the road. Sure enough, as soon as we left Urumqi and headed towards Ulabo, the traffic began to congest. Looking at the buses in front of me, my mood suddenly became depressed. There are so many cars and so many people, I am afraid that there are more people than flowers when I get to the place.
A friend who was traveling with us suggested that we find a place to get off the expressway and take the national highway, otherwise, it would be noon when we got there. I have to say that his suggestions are very useful. When we were driving on the national highway without hindrance, we looked at the congested vehicles that were overtaken one after another, and we felt very lucky. The only regret is that we missed the Salt Lake Scenic Area, but we finally got to the front of the convoy obliquely and caught up with another friend's family who started an hour earlier than us. It turned out that they were also blocked and just came out. It seems that there are really many people.
After noon, we finally arrived in Toksun as scheduled.
Xinghuayuanji
As soon as I entered Tuokesun, I was about to follow the navigation to continue, but when I turned around, I found that there was a large apricot grove on the side of the road, and the branches were full of flowers. The head of the house decisively turned the steering wheel, and we turned in. I stopped the car, packed up, and walked forward, only to find a Uyghur aunt standing at the gate of the garden: ten yuan per person! It turned out that this was her territory, so she was naturally the one to call the shots. Seeing the dense crowd already crowded in the garden, I decided to go further. At this moment, there are only flowers in my eyes. First two pictures:
As we walked forward, there were fewer people, and another apricot garden also came into our sight. The nearest one was sparsely planted with a few apricot trees, which were short but full of flowers.
Going forward, another garden appeared in front of us. This time, the owner of the garden was a Uighur uncle, who enthusiastically let us go in and visit at will, without asking for money.
Sure enough, the most beautiful is always hidden in the deepest place.
Because there are relatively few people here away from the roadside, the flowers here are more colorful.
Kazuki's blooming flowers will always remind me of Xi Murong's song:
a flowering tree
how to make you meet me
in my most beautiful moment
for this
I have prayed to the Buddha for five hundred years
Pray to the Buddha to let us form a relationship
Buddha then turned me into a tree
grow by the road you must pass
in the sun
bloom carefully
Blossoms are my longing from the previous life
when you approach
please listen carefully
the trembling leaf
is my passion for waiting
Enthusiasm awaits your arrival.
At four o'clock in the afternoon, we finally left here reluctantly and set off for the next destination: Apricot Garden in Shanghu Village, Turpan
When I left Toksun, I saw a large number of vehicles still pouring in, and the face of the lady who collected the money became even darker. I was very surprised. Why is it not a smiling face with so much money? Thinking about it again, so many people entered Going to the garden, because you paid for it, wouldn’t you cherish the flowers? Then after enjoying the flowers during this period, there will be a lot of flowers falling in the garden. So will the harvest be reduced this year? I also thought of a parent teaching their children in the garden just now: Don’t pick flowers randomly, because these flowers are going to bear fruit. Think about the uncle's smiling face at any time, maybe this is the gap.
Tuokesun Apricot Garden is 55 kilometers away from Apricot Garden in Shanghu Village, Turpan. I followed the navigation but was attracted by the billboards on the roadside:
The billboard is very large and the content is very attractive. Unfortunately, the search for flowers failed, and these were only photographed in the yard by the roadside:
The small village encountered on the way to Shanghu Village Xingyuan, the green shoots of the willow trees on the side of the road, in this place surrounded by barren land, make people's eyes shine.
The houses here are very distinctive. Located in Shanghu Village, it is a sightseeing spot for Kanerjin and Gaochang's hometown. When you walk here, you can feel the breath here.
Compared with Tuokesun Apricot Garden, there are too many people in Shanghu Village Apricot Garden. Where there are many people, people will be impetuous, and even the best scenery will not taste good. Maybe you just tasted a little poetry, but the surrounding noise The sound will bring you back to your original shape in an instant. Before I came here, I always thought that it would be a quiet place like Toksun Apricot Garden. People in that garden were enjoying the flowers quietly, and no one was making any noise. Always see someone on this side, will immediately go to the other side. In Shanghu Village, there are people everywhere, but those flowers with some characteristics will be surrounded by people.
About Turpan
Turpan, also known as Huozhou and Fengku, got its name because it is located in a mountain basin. Turpan is an important town on the ancient Silk Road, and now it is also the gateway of Urumqi, an important transportation hub of the New Silk Road and the Eurasian Continental Bridge. Turpan has a long history and has played an important role since ancient times. There is little rainfall and frequent strong winds, and the temperature in summer is often above 40 degrees. Spring here comes earlier than in northern Xinjiang. There are also many scenic spots here: Turpan Museum, Shashan Park, Gaochang Ancient City, Jiaohe Ancient City, Aydin Lake, Flame Mountain, Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves, Tuyugou, Karez Folk Custom Garden, Kumtag Desert Wait, it's a place worth visiting.
about eating
It was already past twelve noon when we arrived in Tuokesun. For Xinjiang people, lunch time is usually around two o’clock. Toksun noodles are worth eating when we arrive in Tuokesun. There are many types of noodles. Most Xinjiang people will choose noodles for lunch at noon, which is convenient and fast, and they are mainly hungry. Because of the long daytime in Xinjiang and the late dinner time in Xinjiang, the choice of lunch must be the most hungry.
Before we came, we predicted that there would be too many people for lunch, so we brought our own meals: pepper chicken, belt noodles, naan, cold dishes, roast chicken, etc.
Pepper chicken is also one of Xinjiang's specialties. The key is the soup base, which is spicy and delicious. It is more delicious to mix with belt noodles than with large plate chicken.
We made an agreement with the uncle in the garden in advance to borrow his treasure land and hold our lunch. Of course, as a reward, we bought him a bag of peanuts. With apricot blossoms on the top of the head, the humming of bees in the ears, and the faint sweet fragrance of apricot blossoms in the nose, this meal is the most emotional meal we have ever eaten outdoors. Thinking about it until now, I still feel endless aftertaste. At that moment, I fell in love with traveling even more, and I loved this kind of life even more. Yes, it is a lively life, not just living.
Postscript: Seeing Flowers
At around 7:00 p.m., we started our return journey, and this time was the peak time for the return journey. Because of our experience in the morning, many cars got off the expressway and diverted to the national highway. As a result, the national highway was not as smooth as in the morning. It was nearly ten o'clock when I got home at night, and the lights were already on.
When encountering this kind of group tourism, the first point is to leave early, but: there is no way to travel early, and there are even more early travellers. No matter how early you think you are, there will always be someone earlier than you. But try to be as early as possible. It’s always right. Arrive at the scenic spot early. There are fewer people and a lot of scenery to see. sex trip.
The second point, if you don't leave early, then pay attention to the traffic situation at any time, if there is a local traffic information broadcast, please pay attention to it. After listening to the 949 road condition information, we decided to get off the expressway and onto the national highway. This decision must be made decisively, otherwise if you miss the intersection of the highway, you will be blocked and it will be difficult to figure it out.
The third point is that you must bring your own food and drinks. On the one hand, there are so many people in the scenic spot that there is nowhere to eat. On the other hand, if you are unfortunately stuck on the road, you can emergency.
The fourth point, after arriving at the scenic spot, don't blindly follow the trend, unless it is a unique scenic spot, you have to bite the bullet. For scenic spots like Huahua that can be seen anywhere, you can choose what you like. There is no need to squeeze with others. Sometimes, it is precisely this kind of another way, but you can still see the most beautiful scenery.
(A little gossip: It is said that on the 23rd, many people who took the bus did not arrive at the scenic spot until after three o'clock in the afternoon. Arrived at home just after one o'clock)
