foreword

I remember that 5 or 6 years ago, I signed up for a group tour with full expectations, but suddenly got appendicitis and was hospitalized before the departure and failed to go. I didn't expect that it would take so long to bring up the itinerary again, but this time it was changed to independent travel, which is naturally much more interesting and free.

Day 1 Fly from Shanghai to Taipei Ximending & Ningxia Night Market

This departure has been in a state of fear a few days ago. I chose to depart during the National Day, when air tickets are soaring, because I want to avoid the typhoon season in August and September. Who knows, this year’s typhoon It is also strong and numerous, and it will continue to last for a long time. Just after leaving the majestic mangosteen, another super typhoon Trami was formed on the sea before departure.

Feeling anxious, I arrived at Pudong International Airport early in the morning. Although I saw the sky in Shanghai was very good, I didn’t dare to relax until the moment I boarded the plane. You must know that if Taipei’s airport can’t land, you can’t take off here either. . That day is also the time when Trami is closest to Taiwan.

I have to thank God for his blessing. Although it was cloudy and rainy when we arrived in Taiwan, we managed to land successfully. There was almost no delay after 10 o'clock in the morning, and Taoyuan Airport arrived. After queuing up to go through the formalities and getting my luggage, I felt that the Taiwan dollars I exchanged in Shanghai might not be enough, so I exchanged a little at the airport counter.

Then, according to the airport signs, I successfully found the MRT Airport Line and went to the Taipei Main Station where the hotel is located. I bought the Easy Card (Taiwan’s transportation card) online in advance and sent it directly to my home. I have already deposited 400 Taiwan dollars in it, and the basic transportation fee has already been paid. It is enough to use, and it can also be used to buy things in convenience stores.

The Taipei Master Hotel we stayed in is just opposite the Taipei Main Station, next to the MRT. The location is very convenient. Of course, the environment is the standard of a budget hotel, and it is clean and tidy. Since it was not check-in time, I left my luggage at the front desk first, and immediately set off for the first stop originally planned, Ximending.

I have to say that I haven’t gotten used to it when I first arrived in Taipei. The MRT station at Taipei Main Station is a transportation hub, extending in all directions. Therefore, although I was asking which MRT to take to Ximending, but because more than one MRT can be reached, I asked two or three people and ended up pointing in different directions, and I went around for a while.

After Ximen Station, you will be Ximending, and you can see the landmark Ximen Red House across the road from a distance, but because it is already past lunch time, you have to hurry up to find food, just follow the navigation to go to the first meal destination "Niu" Shop”, come to a bowl of Taiwanese beef noodles. This store is not big, but it also has good reviews online. Although it was past meal time, I still waited outside for a while. I give full marks to the taste as a bowl of noodles. Because I am actually a person who doesn't like noodles. Except for Japanese ramen, I usually don't order noodles easily. I feel that many noodles are not strong and soft and hard. And this bowl of noodles is indeed full of ingredients and the noodles are strong, which is in line with this price. (PS is still recommended to eat, because not all beef noodle shops taste good. After that, I ate one in Hualien. Although the amount of beef was enough, the taste was really bad. Of course, the price was much cheaper.)

After eating the hot beef noodles, I felt relieved, and started to stroll slowly in Ximending. Although it is shopping, because we don’t really like shopping, so we really just go shopping, look at the streetscape buildings in Taipei, and feel the atmosphere of local life. The most impressive thing should be the "locomotives", the main force of traffic here. Apart from the large number, they drive really crazy. Even on a road that is not spacious and there are many vehicles, they can shuttle quickly. Amazing~

It was raining lightly while walking, but fortunately, most of the buildings here belong to arcades, so you can just walk down to shelter from the rain. I walked all the way to the "Lemon House Authentic Bitter Gourd Original Juice" store, just to try this special drink of white jade bitter gourd. I also bought a cup of this, for fear that I would not be able to bear it. Unexpectedly, there is only a trace of bitterness, which can be completely ignored. After adding honey, it is only sweet and delicious!

I originally planned to go to Taipei 101 today, but it started to rain heavily. Thinking about it, I can’t see much here, and it’s not convenient to go shopping, so I walked slowly towards the subway and got a card at the Red Building. In fact, it is also possible to go shopping inside, which is really hindered by the bad weather. In addition, we really don't like shopping, so we are going to go back to the hotel first.

After returning to the Taipei Main Station where the hotel is located, I happened to go to the train station to get the pre-booked Ziqiang ticket departing from Hualien the day after tomorrow (this ticket is usually issued about 15 days in advance, and the time slot is good. The left and right classes turned out to be around 8 o'clock.

After getting the ticket, I went to familiarize myself with the nearby terrain, and it was convenient to leave Hualien early in the morning the day after tomorrow so that I would not waste my way. After returning to the hotel, I can finally enter the room, make some adjustments and set off for Ningxia Night Market. Walking from Taipei Main Station, it is said that it is not far, but it is not close, and it feels like walking for about 20 minutes.

The first half of the road is actually nothing, and after walking to the second half, we entered the night market. It's a pity that the weather is not good, the booth was originally set up in the middle of the road, because the umbrella was still open, the walking was very difficult, and it was about to be withdrawn after almost walking down.

For dinner, I found "Huxu Zhanglu Pork Rice" at the end of the street and ordered a small bowl of braised pork rice, white jade bitter gourd soup, and a braised pork set meal. The price is good and the taste is not bad.

After eating, I bought a take-away oyster omelette at the "Oyster Omelette by the Ring". The queue for the main restaurant is too long. You don't have to queue for take-out, just pay and get a number, and come back in half an hour Just take it. When I was waiting for the oyster omelette, I went to the night market and bought a custard. It was soft and super sweet, and it was the same as what you eat in Shanghai.

The night market is really suitable for buying less, and then you can eat a few more stalls. Today's itinerary ended in the rain. I escaped the typhoon. I hope I can escape the rain in the future, otherwise it will be really inconvenient to play.

Day 2 Taipei Palace Museum & Taipei 101 & Shilin Night Market

Early in the morning, after we bought bread and other simple breakfast at the convenience store downstairs, we set off for the National Palace Museum in Taipei. Take the MRT to Shilin Station, and you can see obvious signs when you exit the station, so you can find the bus stop very quickly with almost no navigation.

Reminder: Swiping the bus card on the bus in Taiwan is the same as the subway, you swipe it once on the bus, and swipe it again when you get off the bus. After hearing the station announcement at any station, press the button next to the seat, and the driver will know that someone is going to get off at the next station, otherwise the station will drive past no one.

It was quite early when we arrived at the museum. There were not many people and it was not raining, but the sky was still cloudy. Fortunately, indoor activities did not affect anything.

I actually found a big snail on the road, oh my god, I only see very small ones on the road, this one is almost edible~噗~

When entering the hall, you will be asked to send a bag (backpack size), and the small bag camera can still be carried with you. The safe deposit box needs to be coined, but the money will be refunded when the bag is picked up.

Reminder: There are free guided tours in the museum. There are 4 tours per day (09:30, 10:00, 14:30, 16:00). Make an appointment at least 15 days in advance.

I booked for 10 o'clock, because the time was not up yet, so I simply went to the stroll circle first, and took a rough look at the three treasures of the town hall (the meat-shaped stone, the jade cabbage and the Maogong tripod).

Facts have proved that it is still correct. There were relatively few people in the morning, but later I had to queue up to take pictures of Yubaicai. In addition, although the free tour is a very good service, it is conceivable that a group of 30 people will give explanations around an exhibit, and most of the time they are just listening, and they can't see what they are talking about. Of course, I don’t know much about history, so it’s good to just take a look and listen to some introductions. If you have a special interest in the history of the collection, you would rather pay for a tour guide yourself, or avoid the crowds and quietly read the introduction in the museum carefully, and search for more detailed information. The whole tour took nearly 2 hours, and I talked about a lot of things, and it was quite professional. It's just that I couldn't see anything during the talk, and after the end, I took a little stroll by myself again.

After we came out, we took the bus directly to the MRT, and went to the next check-in point, Taipei 101. In fact, if you take the MRT one more stop to Xiangshan, you can overlook Taipei City and 101, but it was still a cloudy day at that time. Go for it, because Din Tai Fung at 101 has a line up and it's not to be underestimated.

In this way, at 2:30 in the afternoon, when it was not meal time, after waiting for about half an hour, I finally entered the store. I won't go into details here, but the general conclusion is that although the price is not cheap, the workmanship and quality are comparable. You should know that both Nanxiang and Wuxi in the south have famous xiaolong, so I don’t want to make comparisons, but Din Tai Fung’s xiaolong taste is my favorite, because the key to my preference for xiaolong is whether the skin is thin or not.

After eating, I like to go shopping in the mall. The World Trade Center is a good place. We went directly to the ticket hall of the 101 Observatory according to the elevator signs.

There are not many people, so you don't have to wait for a long time to take the super fast elevator to the observatory. To be honest, I prefer to look at the 101 building itself from the outside and from a distance than looking at a large area of old houses from the inside of 101.

There are a total of three floors that can be browsed. I can’t remember the exact number of floors. The viewing platform after the elevator comes out, and then the upper floor is the outdoor viewing platform, and the next floor can see a huge circular damper. The introduction is for the shock absorption of the building.

After 101 came out, I suddenly found that the sky had turned better, so I quickly took a few more photos. The 101 under the sunset is really beautiful.

When Shilin Night Market started in the evening, it seemed that many people didn’t think highly of Shilin Night Market. At first, I thought that the night markets should be pretty much the same, but when the slaughter happened there, the impression really plummeted. Pfft~Let me explain in detail~I will also give some insight to those who have read this travel note.

The night market is near MRT Jiantan Station, and you can see a lot of people at the intersection. The first half of the stalls are on the side of the road. When visiting the stalls on the roadside, be careful of the vehicles driving on the road and don't step out of the safety line. After the second half, it will enter the Shilin Market, and it will become an area without motor vehicles.

I ate a line of "Prince Cheese Potatoes" at the intersection shop, which is mashed potatoes with cheese sauce and side dishes. It tastes pretty good. You can try it. The fried chicken stall with an extremely long queue, I don't know what's special, I haven't tried it.

After that, I ate this dice beef with a high occurrence rate. It is relatively average, and the beef is still quite old. Everything here is pretty good, and I said with great interest that it is not raining today, so I can eat it all at once.

So I came to Shilin Market along the road. The basement floor of the market is a place to eat, full of small shops. In addition to snacks on the ground, there are also various clothing souvenirs, local products, small games, etc. It can be said to be a comprehensive market. Therefore, if you come here for snacks, it will be less concentrated, but the market is really big.

When I continued shopping, because the custard fruit I bought yesterday was really delicious, I felt that the fruits in Taiwan were really as good as I said, and then I said that although it is not cheap, I can’t buy this quality when I go back, so I must eat it again. Eat other fruits. Okay~ I didn’t expect that traveling can’t be completely unguarded~ That’s how pitfalls appeared.

Walking to a fruit stall at the corner of the market, an old lady enthusiastically said that the fruit was very sweet, and then gave us a sliced fruit to try. It happened that I wanted to buy it too, so I ate it. Lotus mist, mango, really sweet. So we wanted to buy it, but we couldn't eat much, so we asked the price. Because yesterday’s Sakyamuni was sold by the piece, and here is weighing, and the unit of weight is not the catty we commonly use, they use grams, that is, to calculate whether the price is reasonable, on the one hand, the grams must be converted into catties, and Convert Taiwan dollars into RMB. In the process of such exchanges and conversions, I watched the old aunt quickly chop up a few lotus seeds and a mango~ Oh my god~ I heard that chopped seafood is a strong seller, but I didn’t expect to meet someone who chopped fruit . Although she hurriedly stopped and said that we couldn't eat that much, the old aunt didn't stop, saying that it was rare to come and eat more, it was so sweet. I was really dumbfounded, because we were inexperienced, and we hadn’t encountered a scammer in so many journeys, so we didn’t know how to behave. As a result, four lotus seeds and one big mango cost more than RMB 150. Although I bought the fruit reluctantly, I still comforted myself. After all, the fruit is very sweet and can’t be eaten in Shanghai, so let’s improve the quality. Pfft~ One blow is always accompanied by another blow. When we returned to the hotel to eat the fruits, we found that these fruits were not the right ones. They were completely different from the ones we tried. Don’t comfort yourself by saying that Shanghai can’t get them anymore. This is good, Lianwu has a fishy smell, it is not yet ripe, and the mango is also sour.

Reminder: When chatting with the owner of the homestay in Hualien, I learned that she usually reminds guests not to go to the night market to buy fruit. The supermarket is cheap. Of course, we don’t have so much time to go to the supermarket. But if you buy it, try not to buy it by weight. If you can’t figure out the conversion by gram, it will easily become expensive without realizing it. They won’t buy it themselves. It’s clear by the number. This method is not limited to fruits, including seafood, etc. Both apply.

I evacuated the night market, and there was this unpalatable bag of unfinished fruit. Because I chopped it, it made the taste even worse the next day when I was bored, so I had to throw it away.

Day 3 Taipei to Hualien Chihsingtan

Early in the morning, we were pushing our suitcases and preparing to leave Hualien, but the bento shop was still open when we passed by~

In fact, there are still many vacancies for the Ziqiang number at this starting point, so the ticket seems not so tight.

We arrived at Hualien Station smoothly at 10:00, and we booked the Doroman whale watching at 1:00 p.m. on the same day, because we will be picked up at the station, so we only need to find a place to have lunch in the rest of the time. There is plenty of time.

Passing through this convenience store opposite the station square, the evaluation is not bad, so I am going to eat this one. The taste is good, and it satisfies my little regret that I didn't eat bento on the train.

The aunt in the store is also very nice, because we have been waiting after eating, so we came to chat, and then suggested that we sit in the seat at the door of her store, so that we can see it when the car comes. Unfortunately, when the time was approaching, I suddenly received a call saying that the boat could not go to sea because of the strong wind. We sat on the side of the road and didn't feel the wind. Although we were a little puzzled, we had no choice but to contact the owner of the hotel to call a car for us and take us to the residence first.

Qixingtan Natural Sea Personality Homestay is located at the end of Qixingtan Scenic Area, a residence with a little history. There is a small fishing ground and police station next to it, and the sea is opposite. However, don’t look at this courtyard as a small Japanese-style courtyard. It is built by the sea, which is my dream residence~ But after the actual experience, I personally still don’t recommend choosing this place. The first is that the facilities in the room are relatively old, especially the toilet. But the most important thing is that the location is too remote. It takes about 40 minutes to walk from here to the main scenic spot of Qixingtan, which is beyond the scope of various one-day tours reported online. Generally, they will only send you to the whole family of Qixingtan (that is, the main scenic spot) That). In fact, there are many homestays in the main scenic area, and they look good. If you want to live by the sea, I recommend staying there, and the sea in the main scenic area is more beautiful. The pebbles are there, and this side is basically sand.

After putting down our luggage, we didn't understand why the boat was canceled until we came to the beach. The wind is so strong that the hat will be blown away, and then the waves are rolling, and I just want to get closer to take pictures, but I will be dissuaded from going there. Due to the temporary cancellation of the event, we had no choice but to walk along the bicycle path on the beach to the main scenic spot of Qixingtan. Although the sky is cloudy and the wind is strong, you can still see that the sea is blue, so I really look forward to a good day, because I believe this sea is very beautiful. (The beautiful scenery in the preview finally appeared tomorrow~)

Today is equivalent to no schedule, walking back and forth by the beach for 2 hours, the sea breeze blows to the face with the sea water, and suddenly I feel like I have become a piece of bacon, with a salty taste in my mouth, and my hair feels sticky~ But even with such a strong wind, there is no feeling of coolness at all.

The only consolation is that fortunately, I ordered the famous private kitchen here at night. A very "pushing" Amis online celebrity restaurant, with a limited amount every day, you need to make an appointment, specify a meal time, you can't be late, but you won't be allowed in if you arrive early, there is no menu, and there is a set meal for what you want to eat.

Although the set rules are awkward, the attitude is still very good after entering. In addition, the appearance and taste of the dishes are all online. I think it is quite a satisfying meal, especially this meal is also a more formal meal in my itinerary. , Most of the dinners are various night markets. In fact, most of the things in the night market do not surprise and miss me.

Day 4 Taroko & Qingshui Cliffs & Qixingtan & Ziqiang Night Market

Today, we applied for a local one-day tour group, because we only picked up at Qixingtan entrance, so we started to walk there slowly an hour and a half in advance. In the morning, I found that the sunny day I was looking forward to finally appeared. I regret that I should get up in the morning to watch the sunrise, but this is an excellent place to watch the sunrise.

Walking on this road today is a completely different feeling, the blue sky and blue sea, the sun just rising in the morning, accompanied by the golden color~ I am in a good mood~(* ̄︶ ̄)

The waves are still very big. Generally, there are water sports on the beach, but there are no bathing beaches or any sports here. Later, I learned that because of the ocean currents in this area, I was really "goodbye" after being swept out~ So just step on the water by the sea.

Because we arrived early, we also piled up pebbles by the sea to take a classic photo. My dad was still playing with it, saying what is so good about it, he wanted to fold it differently, but he found a big stone from nowhere, dark green mixed with white, kind of jade-like, and then proudly said how beautiful it is .

Reminder: Although the cobblestones in Qixingtan are very beautiful, in order to leave the beautiful scenery to everyone, do not pick up the local cobblestones. In addition, if they are found at the airport, there will be corresponding fines.

After playing, we will see that the time is almost up. We walked to the meeting point and began to wait for the car to pick us up for a day trip.

This is the homestay area near the main scenic spot of Qixingtan, and there are a lot of them.

It turned out that the car was assigned to a minibus after we were picked up by a local travel company. Needless to say, this minibus is actually a soft bag, well maintained, and the taxis on the opposite side are all signed, and all of them are also wiped clean.

After people arrived one after another, the driver introduced himself and set off for the first stop of the day. From time to time along the way, I will introduce some passing places and local customs.

After the bus arrives at the tunnel, it will stop in the tunnel. The driver said that because the existing parking lot space is limited, in order to develop tourism, this is approved by the transportation department to turn a lane of the tunnel into a temporary parking lot for tourist buses.

After getting off the bus, you have free time for 1 hour. Walk across the Baishi Bridge and walk down to the Shakajuan Trail. The driver of this bridge may not pay attention to it. The name of the Baishi comes from the appearance of each lion. are different.

Walking along the cliff trail by the water, one hour is naturally endless, basically it is half an hour and then half an hour to return the same way.

The water under the walking path is very clear, but the distance is covered by various vegetation.

After that, continue to drive to Yanzikou. After getting off the bus, the driver will distribute the helmets at the entrance. It’s quite special to play like this, and everyone looks like an architect. After putting us down, the driver will continue to drive forward, waiting for us in front, and it will take about 40 minutes for us to finish the journey, which is plenty of time.

The landforms in this area are quite spectacular. There are large and small eroded holes on the opposite mountain, and the cliffs on both sides sometimes widen and sometimes become very narrow.

Looking at the tunnel that goes straight through the mountain from here, think about being able to drive such a large mountain road, human beings are also amazing.

The river water here is completely different from that under the previous Shakazeng Trail, it is cement-colored. It is said that it is because of the inflow of another river, and that water contains a lot of minerals, so that it has turned into this color, and it is difficult for fish and shrimp to survive here.

After the itinerary, I went to have lunch first. Although the chef said that this is a well-known local beef noodle shop, it is much cheaper than the one in Taipei. But I think it is a restaurant where most of the group meals are eaten. Although the price is cheap and the quantity is sufficient, the taste is really average.

After dinner, I went to visit the Changchun Temple. This is the ancestral hall dedicated to the soldiers who sacrificed for digging holes to open the way for the Taroko Pavilion. It looks really picturesque from a distance.

After driving for a while, I arrived at Qingshui Cliff, which I was most looking forward to today. The scenic spot is actually very small, and within a few minutes of walking, you can see the clear blue cliff water.

Today's weather is excellent, and the feeling of overlooking the sea from a high place is completely different from that at the seaside. From the edge of the cliff to the sea, there are many layers of blue, which is really fascinating.

Of course, it is not long to stay on the viewing platform with the best view, because there is an endless stream of tourists who want to take pictures there, but the platform is very small and cannot accommodate too many people. It was a bit messy to take pictures at the beginning, but then someone suddenly said that there was a queue, even though you have to wait, but at least you can take a solo photo instead of the effect of various passers-by in the photo.

After the end of Qingshui Cliff, we returned to Qixingtan, haha~ because there is this item in the itinerary, but because we want to go to Dongdaemun Ziqiang Night Market later, so although we can end the itinerary here, we still haven’t left the group. When the time is up , so I can drop by there. And today's innocence is really good, just to make up for yesterday's regrets, and to get to know Qixingtan again.

There are also many small stalls at the scenic spots, such as coconuts, large intestines wrapped in small intestines, etc. Those who are hungry can replenish a little.

There were quite a few people in the afternoon, but in fact it was only these people.

What needs to be reminded is that there are quite a lot of stray dogs here, try to keep a certain distance as much as possible, and you can live in peace. On a whim, I saw a dog resting on the beach and wanted to take a photo. Unexpectedly, when I left, I didn’t know if I walked into another dog’s safe distance. Suddenly, the dog started to walk towards me, and then barked at me several times. After leaving the distance, nothing happened, but I still have lingering fears, and now I think about it.

After visiting Qixingtan, we came to the night market with the group. Because it was still early and the night market was still in the preparation stage, the driver suggested that we could go down a nearby street. Even the local commercial street is full of food and souvenir shops. .

The famous Gongzheng Baozi shop is on this street, but since I went to eat Mr. Goose before, I thought I should save some space for the night market. I think the goose meat is goose, the meat is very thin and I don’t think there is anything special, but the other fish roe and local vegetables are quite delicious.

After that, I walked slowly to the night market, and it happened to be dark. This is my favorite of several night markets. This night market is very clean and safe without people and cars. According to the driver in Kenting later, the prices of things in the Hualien night market are also considered cheap.

The dishes on the stalls are really almost unknown.

I queued up and ordered a cup of avocado milk and papaya milk, both of which taste good, and I prefer papaya.

In addition, people frantically arranged a bomb scallion pancake, which is actually a deep-fried pancake wrapped with runny eggs, and the taste is nothing special. Although I still wanted to eat the coffin board, but I was really full, so I went back.

Day 5 Hualien to Kenting Huadong Rift Valley Line

I'm leaving Hualien today. Before I leave, I still want to watch the sunrise by the sea, so I got up early. The sky was fine, but unfortunately there was a cloud on the sea level, which just blocked the critical sunrise, and when the solar energy was exposed, it had reached a certain height, which was more dazzling.

Fishing ground and police station after sunrise. The neighborhood is sparsely populated and very quiet. Suddenly I remembered what the driver said yesterday, Hualien is a place with beautiful mountains and rivers, so boring.

When I went back to the hotel after watching the sunrise, I suddenly found a dog hovering at the door. After barking at me yesterday, I really didn’t dare to go forward casually. After waiting for a while, I quickly went in and closed the door.

At 8 o'clock this time, the driver who took us came to pick us up at the door of the hotel on time. The Huadong Rift Valley Line has several scenic spots to visit along the way, and at the same time migrated from Hualien to Kenting, which is a very good design.

The first one, Dianyun Shanshui, feels like a resort area, with private villas inside. Walking around, the scenery is pretty good. It is suitable for locals to spend a weekend. The villa density inside is not high and they are all beautiful.

Then on the road, it was strange to find that many of the rivers that should have been passing by were dry and exposed the riverbed.

It was the first time I saw the banana tree on the side of the road, and it turned out that there was something hanging from it. In addition, after the driver's introduction, I also know what the betel nut tree looks like.

The second point is Ruisui Ranch. The area that the ranch itself is open to tourists is actually very small. The main thing in the past is to order milk, cheese, cakes, etc., sit and have a rest, and you can buy some special products by the way. The nougat tastes very good. . There is also a store near the Dongdamen Night Market in Hualien. I bought some there. After comparing, most of the prices are the same, but there are also individual large-package nougat stores that are a little cheaper in Hualien.

The Tropic of Cancer hit a card, so we officially stepped into the tropics.

The lunch place is at the very special Chishang rice bag shop, but when we arrived, we were dumbfounded, and the line went directly from the inside to the outside. Although we were given 45 minutes to eat, we ended up queuing for about half an hour. So my kind of slow-moving eating is really a bit tasteless.

After a quick meal, I drove to Brown Avenue in about 5-10 minutes. I thought it was just a road of paddy fields, but the photo effect is quite good. The endless paddy fields, a straight road, without any shelter, I like this kind of broad and forward-looking feeling. Borrowing a multi-person bicycle, stepping on this road, watching the rice waves on both sides of the rice ears with the wind, is very pleasant.

"Takeshi Kaneshiro" tree~poof~ I heard that this road became the current scenic spot because of an advertisement shot by Takeshi Kaneshiro that year, and was discovered by tourists later.

The last point on the road today is Duoliang Station. When we arrived at the station, what everyone was looking forward to was the train roaring past the sea. This reminds me of the previous time in Kamakura, where I waited for a lot of buses in order to take a picture similar to the scene in Slam Dunk. It's a pity that the weather was bad at that time, and the sea was not sparkling.

It was really a long way from Hualien to Kenting. After that, we drove for a long time, and it was dark, and there was still a section of winding mountain road. After the driver took us to our respective residences one by one, it was already eight or nine in the evening. Because there are some scenic spots with inconvenient transportation, I will always look for this kind of local one- or two-day pure tour group. And this is because I really feel that the master who took this trip was very hard.

Day 6 Longkeng Ecological Reserve & Eluanbi Park & Longpan Park & Chuanfan Rock & Kenting Main Street

I arrived late last night and didn't see anything. So in the morning, we walked around the hotel first. The Caesars Hotel was specially selected during my trip, and I hope to have a better experience before the end of the trip. After all, the feeling of a hotel and a B&B is different.

Although the hotel can't say how big it is, it has a swimming pool and a small beach of its own. South Asian style, you will feel like a vacation when you enter.

The beach quality of the hotel is average, but there are few people.

There are many choices for breakfast, and the taste is also very good. If you arrive early, you can sit by the window and watch the sea across the road.

After a full breakfast, rest for a while and get ready to go.

Today I took the Kenting East Line. Let’s talk about the traffic in Kenting first, because this is the most tangled thing in my entire trip. I want to drive by myself, but after checking the translation of the driver's license, even if I can borrow a car, it is actually not compliant. But it's really not cost-effective to apply for an international driver's license as I can't leave the country several times a year. The best means of transportation is actually a locomotive, but I am very afraid of iron-clad transportation, so I still can’t drive it after learning it. The only remaining ways are chartered cars and street cars (buses). Attached streetcar route map

To play the east and west lines and the Haisheng Pavilion, you mainly rely on the orange line (101) and the blue line (102). However, except for the winter and summer holidays, the orange line usually only goes to Kenting, and the scenic spots on the east line behind are not available. Therefore, those who cannot ride a battery car can only charter a car, and the west line can be completed by street cars. Of course, you can also report to the local one-day tour group, and the fire points of the East-West Line and even the North Line can be completed in one day.

Reminder: What you must remember is the street car here. When you see the one you want to sit on, be sure to wave your hand, otherwise the driver will drive away directly, and will not stop if you see someone at the station. It is better to hire the wrong car and let the car stop first, than not to call, the general interval is almost half an hour, and it is very troublesome to miss it. In addition, the Easy Travel Card is available. Otherwise, prepare more change in advance, and you will not get change when you insert coins. The price is different at each station, you can ask the driver how much it is when you get on the bus. The EasyCard is the same as in Taipei, you need to swipe once when getting on and off the bus.

Because I reserved the Longkeng Ecological Reserve at 10:30 on the Internet, I had to choose a half-chartered car to play. The car is to be determined by the hotel, tell him the approximate points where he needs to go, and then he will quote. In addition, there will also be yellow cars on the road that look like taxis. In fact, they are not clocked in, and they say where to quote a price. This kind of chartered car does not follow you all the time, unless you get out of the car to see where you are going, and leave immediately. After a long time, they will leave and pick up other orders. When the fun is almost done, call them and come to pick you up again.

Longkeng Ecological Reserve is next to Eluanbi Park, and the two attractions can be visited together. But Longkeng only accepts advance reservations, available online.

Because it is an ecological protection area, each group has a dedicated staff to guide the tour. Along the way, various plants, animals and ecology will be introduced. I was still a little confused when I first entered. The first section of the road is relatively primitive vegetation. The staff also asked us if we knew what we were mainly looking for here? We weakly say plants? In fact, it is not, the main thing here is the large coral reefs.

On the top is the smallest kind of morning glory, and on the bottom is wild pineapple.

This tropical plant somehow reminds me of Medusa's hair~

After walking for a long time, the sea suddenly appeared in front of my eyes.

Although I don't know much about the formation of coral reefs mentioned by the previous staff, I was shocked when I saw this sea area.

I have been looking at the sea for the past few days, but every time I see it, I am still attracted by the blue color. The depth seems to suck my soul away.

The shapes of the coral reefs are different, and the waves are constantly beating the shore, which is really spectacular. Of course, the wind was quite strong, and I could barely hold my camera steady.

The shock that Longkeng gave me really cannot be recorded in photos. It is highly recommended that tourists who have time must come and experience it for themselves.

After the game, you need to go back the same way, go back to the entrance and wash your face, because at the beach, the sea water really blows your face.

After leaving Longkeng, walk down the outer road for a while and you will reach Eluanbi Park. You need to buy a ticket to enter the park. The wind here is obviously a lot less, and you can feel what it feels like to be in the tropics under the scorching sun.

The white lighthouse at the check-in point is the place where everyone gathers to take pictures.

You can come to the beach by going downhill, and this strange tree was found on the lawn. Does it look like a deer?

Just coming from Longkeng, this coastline is a little weaker than the momentum.

But it is said that this is the southernmost point of Taiwan. In fact, there is a monument at the southernmost point when you walk out of the park to the side road. It’s just that I checked the map and walked for half an hour, so I gave up.

After we came out of the park, we contacted the chartered car master to pick us up to Longpan Park. It is said that the park is actually a platform, and it can be finished in basically 20 minutes without using it. But it is also a place I highly recommend. This coastline is also very shocking, but the wind is really strong, not the level that the camera can't hold, but standing on the edge of the platform, I feel that the whole person is going to be blown away, and I can't stand firmly, so I am stunned when I am shocked Not long.

Today's main scenic spot is basically over. On the way back to the hotel, I asked the master to stop at Chuanfan Rock to take a photo.

It's still early to come back, and I can still lie down for a while in the hotel. Walking non-stop every day is quite a test of physical strength. Such an unhurried pace makes it feel like a vacation.

Watching the sun slowly start to set, we set off to Kenting Street for food.

In fact, most of this point is still in the preparation stage and is being sold. Take advantage of the "Shrimp Craftsman's Live Shrimp Cuisine", which is the general big-headed shrimp. There are several flavors to choose from. The fried Q-bombs are tender and delicious. I started to line up slowly while I was eating, so it is good to be early.

After eating, I walked on Kenting Street again. To be honest, I was a little tired of the night market, and I didn't have much enthusiasm for what to eat.

The barbecue with a relatively long queue tastes good, but it feels oily after a few more bites, and I prefer sausages.

Day 7 South Bay & Houbi Lake & Water Outlet & Maobitou Park & Baisha Bay

Today I plan to take a streetcar tour on the West Line, and then wait at the station outside the hotel in advance. Unexpectedly, seeing the street car coming, and then watching it drive away in front of him like this, he asked with a confused face, and found out that the car here needs to be beckoned to stop. Because it took half an hour to wait for another car, I had to take the yellow taxi-like car parked at the door to go to Nanwan. The price was asked before getting on the car.

It's good to come to Nanwan in the morning, there are very few people. The umbrellas here need to be rented, so don't just sit under them.

Originally, I wanted to bring a pair of slippers so I could step on the water, but I didn’t bring them because I thought they would take up space in my bag, and I regretted it. After stepping on the water for a while, when I wanted to wash my feet, I found that there was no one on the beach, and there was a fee to cross the road to the opposite side. I can't cross the road barefoot without slippers, so I had to wash my feet with the drinking water I brought. Slippers should be brought!

There are quite a lot of water sports here, but there is only one landlubber, so you can't try it.

A dog brought by a tourist had a great time playing in the water.

Those who went into the water looked more at foreigners, and the back view of taking their daughter to surf, very warm.

In the surfing group, looking at the dark complexion of the coach, the sun here is really strong. I later found out that the nape of my neck was sunburned without sunscreen.

The only thing that is different from what I imagined is that you should be able to pick up shells on the beach, such as small crabs, why are there none here.

Leaving Nanwan, there is a bus stop on the opposite side of the road, but we were probably stimulated by the bus not stopping in the morning. We saw that the time was still early, and it was not time for lunch when we arrived at Houbihu, so we actually said that we should leave Let's go, this is really a very stupid decision.

There are no people along the way, and occasionally a motorbike will drive by, which makes me envious of those who can ride.

After walking under the scorching sun for a long time, I finally arrived near Houbi Lake and saw hope.

For lunch, I eat Fumei seafood, and I eat there for team meals. I found that there were very few people on the road, and it was deserted. According to the previous lesson, I didn’t order any seafood that needs to be weighed, so I ordered a few dishes. In addition, the sashimi is really cost-effective. I ordered two servings. After all, it is not a high-end seafood restaurant. The taste is not bad, but I can’t Expectations are too high.

Then follow the road to Houbihu Fishing Port.

It turns out that papayas grow like this, so many.

The fishing port is very lively, and there are seafood shops inside.

After lunch, I seemed to have regained my physical strength. The streetcar didn't reach the water outlet. It seemed that I could get there in half an hour, so I walked over.

On the way, I saw a beach, which seemed to be used for snorkeling activities nearby. In fact, if you don’t ride a motorcycle, it is not recommended to go to the water outlet to see it, it’s not very interesting.

Maobitou Park is the stop of the street car, you need to buy a ticket to enter. The place is not big, and there are many people on the viewing platform. About half an hour is enough.

The scenery is still very good. The stone in the middle of the picture below is probably the origin of the cat's nose. Anyway, I look like a cat lying down.

On the way, I also ran into this cute little bird. I used to raise a cockatiel, which is scientifically known as a cockatiel. I don’t know where it escaped because of the rings on its legs.

Continue to wait for the streetcar at the entrance of Maobitou Park, and go to our last stop, Baishawan. Now slowly we are getting used to the tuning of the street car.

The main reason I want to go here is because I know that it is the landing point of the protagonist in the Boys Pi movie. But in fact, it is similar to Nanwan, and there are many people in the afternoon, so we quickly left after punching a card. Because you can't miss the last bus of the street car, and you have to leave time to wait if you don't get a stop, you should go back early to be safe.

Because I walked a lot today, I bought some food on Kenting Street to eat in the room at night, which is more comfortable.

The balance is almost running out during the holidays, and I still want to eat Taiwanese fruits. I bought a fruit that is calculated according to the price.

Day 8 Marine Life Museum Kenting to Kaohsiung

Checked out this morning, took the luggage and took the street car to the Haisheng Museum. There is no need to worry about luggage. Street cars are all buses. The driver will get off and help put the luggage in the suitcase. He will also help to take it when he arrives. The service is very good.

Kenting Street in the morning feels very different, it is quiet and clean, and there is no trace of garbage left by the night market. This should be one of the reasons why the night market can exist here.

When you arrive at the Marine Life Museum, you can send your luggage, so that you can play easily. I am a person who likes places like the aquarium very much, because I think it is very magical and dreamy. This one in Kenting is great, but luckily I didn’t miss it. It's a pity that I didn't have the opportunity to experience the overnight stay.

The whale sculpture at the entrance is really imposing, and it feels like you will enter a magical country at once. Not much to say, look at the picture.

I like to look at all kinds of strange creatures in the marine aquarium.

The design here is also very good, the scenes of submarines and shipwrecks are very engaging.

It's scary for the devil fish to look at this expression pack from the bottom. I also happened to meet the breeder feeding it, which was very fresh and interesting.

Beluga is really like a dog, always playing with something in its mouth.

This tank really shocked me, I felt so small when I stood in front of it, and looked up like I was standing on the bottom of the sea.

You can see these babies very close in the Penguin Pavilion. For lunch, there are several restaurants and snacks in the Haisheng Pavilion. The price is okay, but the taste is not good.

At around 3:00 in the afternoon, the master who ordered a carpool to Kaohsiung came to pick us up. I fell asleep all the way, and arrived in Kaohsiung soon.

We stayed at Cambridge Business Hotel near MRT Boulevard Station. It is a budget hotel, but it is bright and clean, and the restaurant also provides 24-hour free simple food and tea. The feeling is very warm, like no matter how late you come home, the family will prepare delicious food for you.

After putting down our luggage, we ate some hot soup and noodles at the restaurant first, and then went to the Dome of Light at Formosa Boulevard MRT Station to check in. The dome of light at the scene is not particularly majestic, hey~ don't say it, but it just happened to be photographed like that. This painting and this color are really beautiful.

The Liuhe Night Market is nearby, and I bought some local products, but I didn't buy any more snacks. Haha~ Maybe the night market is really tired of eating.

But the boneless chicken feet I bought are really delicious, a bit like Sichuan cuisine, spicy and slightly sweet, which stimulates the taste buds at once.

Day 9 Kaohsiung - Shanghai

I am very grateful to the hotel for helping us prepare a takeaway breakfast early in the morning, so that we will not be hungry at the airport.

This is also the first time we have made a connecting flight home. Fortunately, everything went well. We are back in Shanghai~
