After crossing the largest alpine grassland in my country - Bayinbulak, we began to cross Tielimaiti Daban at an altitude of 3,220 meters. After coming out of the 1,894-meter-long cold tunnel, we reached the road section that is most prone to landslides and blockages. The mountain is extremely steep. Going south on the winding downhill road, passing by the cliffs, I often have to hold my breath and suppress my tension. Fortunately, after a short turn, I met the big and small Longchi!
People say that if you take the Duku Highway, you can go through the four seasons in one day. Obviously, you can go through the four seasons in 2 hours, and you can reincarnate several times in one day! The big and small dragon ponds are on the side of the Duku Highway, and they must pass through. The way they appear on the scene is amazing, without a prelude, and they fall when they turn a corner!
The distance between Dalongchi and Xiaolongchi is only a few kilometers, and people often mention that they combine the two into one to form the Big and Small Dragonchi. These two alpine lakes are more than 1,000 meters above sea level, about 120 kilometers away from Kuqa County, located in the depths of the Tianshan Mountains, low-key and beautiful!
From Duzi Mountain to Kuqa, you will first see Xiaolongchi. The Xiaolongchi reflecting the blue sky and white clouds is a crystal gem, precious and lovely! No matter how you look at it, it is not enough. In the shallow water near the outlet of Xiaolongchi, green Spirogyra, brown algae, and yellow algae grow luxuriantly. Coupled with the radiation of sunlight, the lake will present a fantastic color of blue-green in different shades.
If it is said that you will fall when you see Xiaolongchi, then when you see Dalongchi, you will probably be "suffocatingly beautiful". The pool water is formed by the fusion of snow and water from Tianshan Mountain. The water area is wide and crystal clear. It is covered with snow all the year round. Above the snow line grows precious Chinese medicinal materials - snow lotus, green grass, flocks of cattle and sheep, and dotted with herdsmen's yurts.
The scenery of the Big and Small Dragon Pond is absolutely rare in the world. Although the blue-green lake water is not as beautiful as the naked eye, it does not need a filter at all. Even a beginner in photography can take a big picture! In summer, the sun shines on the lake, sparkling, and the cool breeze blows, it is a summer resort!
However, in the eyes of the tourists, the beautiful scenery is very mysterious in the eyes of the locals, with a black water monster that no one dares to approach! It is said that the herdsmen said that there is a water monster about 20 meters long, which sometimes swims on the water surface but disappears soon. Some people have seen scenes of water monsters attacking cows, and when villagers were fishing, their boats were overturned by a huge force and they were rushed to the shore. Later, the number of tourists here increased, and the tourists wanted to use cruise ships to attract tourists, but the cruise ships were overturned by inexplicable things in the water several times. Since then, the herdsmen have not dared to go into the water to easily offend it.
Standing on the shore now, we can indeed clearly see a long black stripe in the lake, which looks like a huge monster. Is this the "water monster" that the herdsmen call it? In fact, this is the result of the shaking of the dark green aquatic plants growing in the lake. But we have no way of knowing whether there is really a terrible "black water monster" in the lake.
The big and small dragon pools on Tianshan Mountain are surrounded by mountains, and the slopes are covered with spruce and green grass. Under the reflection of snow peaks, there are layers of layers, which makes people feel refreshed and lingering! On the road of self-driving Duku, there are blooming flowers for a while, white snow for a while, green trees for a while, lakes and mountains for a while... Give people unlimited imagination.
