Many people may not know that China has the only river that flows into the Arctic Ocean, called the Irtysh River.

As we all know, 99.99% of the rivers in China flow from west to east, and the remaining 0.01% is different. The only one is the Irtysh River, which flows in the opposite direction-this originates in the southern foot of the Altai Mountains. The river in Gafeng has flowed from east to west for 3 million years. It flows out of the country from Habahe County in the Altay region, flows into Lake Zaisan in Kazakhstan, and then flows into the Kara Sea of the Arctic Ocean through the Ob River in Russia. At the starting point of the river with a total length of 2,969 kilometers, there is a village called Talate. For the sake of memory, the locals in Xinjiang call it "the first village of Ehe River".

There are currently 756 villagers in 185 households in Talat Village, and it is estimated that they are also the most "lonely" group in northern Xinjiang. Because this village is located at the entrance of the Irtysh Grand Canyon, except for their human activities here, the surrounding area is full of world-class natural scenery - the Irtysh Grand Canyon is the world-famous Keketuohai World Geopark The most core scenic spot. Although the natural scenery in northern Xinjiang and southern Xinjiang is the best in the world, Keketuohai is the only geopark in the world. It can be seen that the scenery of Keketuohai is so "miserable" that it is called "China's Yosemite" by UNESCO. Mitty"-Yosemite, a national park in California, USA, attracts millions of tourists from all over the world to worship every year.

The layout of the above cited scriptures has a strong purpose, that is, to serve as a tourist platform for Talat Village and to call CALL!

After talking for a long time, this characteristic small village with Kazakhs as the main ethnic group, what are the famous places around it?

Sit down on the small bench and look at the blackboard:

The unique Altai granite landform landscape; the world's rare super-large rare metal deposits and mining relics; Irtysh Grand Canyon + Irtysh River + Keke Suli + Baoshigou + Yiremu Lake + Kalazhuoler Waterfall; Altai Mountain forest grassland, natural scenery of high school mountains; Fuyun 8 magnitude earthquake fault zone relic with the largest earthquake fault zone displacement in history; China's first international ski resort with a drop of 1,200 meters; then Kazakh culture and history, and then, There is no more.

The past history of this village is actually a nomadic tribe of "Thousands of Miles Herding You". They moved here from neighboring villages to become a "miniature" village, but it has only been about 10 years. After moving here, they transformed from herding to farming, cultivating 3156 mu of land, mainly planting black currants, and some grazing pastures have 3652 cattle, sheep and horses. Before 2016, due to traffic congestion, villagers' income mainly depended on agriculture and animal husbandry. Afterwards, on the basis of direct access to the national highway + provincial highway, relying on the unique tourism resources in the surrounding area, the government not only provided money and policies, but also sent people to provide specific guidance. The entire village, guided by characteristic homestays, began to develop into tourism.

To develop characteristic homestays, the first is infrastructure construction. Since 2016, the local government has invested in and built Talat Village in accordance with the national "beautiful village" style, and has remodeled the village's original affordable housing for the rich, using logs uniformly, and the roof and exterior walls. , Uniformly painted and beautified. Now Talat Village has opened 60 homestays and 6 themed gardens.

At the end of last month, we drove nearly 300 kilometers from Altay City to this remote village in the eastern part of northern Xinjiang. The geographical location of this village, together with Kanas Hemu Village, which is located in the westernmost part of Altay, stores the east-west distance of the Altay region.

Walking into this village, it seems that you have crossed from the chicken tail of the Chinese territory to the snow town of Heilongjiang with the chicken head in an instant!

Talat Village in winter is actually a veritable snow town, but the snow here is different from Heilongjiang Snow Town, and it is the most typical moisture-free powder snow; and this village and its surrounding areas have 8 snowfalls a year. There is a snow storage period of one month, and the natural snowfall is large, and the thickness of the snow generally reaches 1.5 meters to 2 meters. The night we arrived, it happened to be snowing all over the sky, but there was no wind. Although it looked like a world of ice and snow everywhere, the coldness was much gentler than that of China's Snow Town. A personal example is that you don’t need to wear gloves when holding a camera, and you don’t need to wear earmuffs or neck covers on your ears and neck. After shooting in the village for more than an hour, the camera that has been “streaking” has been “streaking”. Before returning to the room, the battery It's still full!

To be honest, there is still a considerable distance between the tourism situation and the degree of commercialization of this village. The homestays here are all run by local Kazakhs and other ethnic minorities. Outside the gate of a B&B called "Baknai", the family who opened the B&B stand here to welcome tourists. A man in his 30s was handed a cigarette, and it was almost as simple as putting it on. When he asked, "Bakner" was part of his real name, and his full name was Bakner Soltanbek. Asked the room price, he said, 80 yuan per shop. Yes, you read that right: 80 soft sister coins per night!

We stood in the snow talking like this until the cigarette was exhausted. Maybe I was born as a journalist, and the main and core questions I asked were solved with the effort of this cigarette: his homestay was jointly opened by two brothers, the government subsidized 53,000 yuan, and the remaining expenses were paid by the brothers 70,000 yuan many. At present, his homestay can accommodate 30 people, and the rooms are all heated. His family also provides three meals a day, a la carte, rich and frugal, each person can get it for as little as tens of dollars a day. He said: "Even if the food in my family is cheap, it is authentic Kazakh flavor. Of course, other flavors cannot be produced..."

Buck is a more cheerful and talkative type. He said that our family has devoted all our energy to tourism. In addition to providing food and accommodation for tourists, we can also serve as tour guides and guides. Riding horses to see all kinds of free scenery, if tourists are interested in Kazakh food, we can also teach them how to make milk lumps, cheese and milk tea, etc., and even start from milking...

In addition to Kazakh B&Bs, there are also other "minority" ethnic groups in this village. For example, if you like Mongolian painting style, then go to this village "Eherenjia" and other Mongolian B&Bs.

I was watching at the "Ehe Family", and the proprietress picked up the wine and sang the Mongolian "toast song". Now that I drank it, I chatted a few words by the way. It is understood that in addition to providing food and accommodation for tourists, her family also set up a stall in the Keketuohai self-driving camp square near the village, selling homemade blackcurrant jam, dairy products, and Mongolian hand embroidery. "Many tourists have tasted my blackcurrant jam. We added WeChat when we bought it. After we go home, we will buy it after eating. I will express it to them..." said the proprietress.

On the night we were in Talat Village, the villagers lit a bonfire at the Keketuohai self-driving camp, slaughtered the sheep, boiled a large pot of mutton soup, and provided it to tourists for free; wandering around the village, you can see local residents’ families everywhere Braving the snow at the door to welcome guests from afar, the scene is so simple and touching!

Generally speaking, as a tourism, Talat Village is just in its infancy, and the folk customs are very simple. If you choose to enjoy snow, play with snow or even ski in winter, this should be a destination with high cost performance.
