What shocked us the most was the emerald green lake in Wusute. From a distance, it looked like an emerald inlaid in the barren hills of the desert. The lake water of Wusute has different colors due to its different depths. Some places are dark blue, and some places are light blue. Looking down from the air, some of them even look like they are on a small island in Southeast Asia. My friends joked that this is the Qinghai branch of the Maldives.
It is understood that there was no lake here until one year when a huge torrent broke out on the Kunlun Mountains, and the Nalingele River, which originated in the Kunlun Mountains, was forced to divert and flooded this area.
