That year I bowed my head and crawled on the mountain road, not to see you, but to hug your warmth

In that life, I turned mountains and rivers and pagodas, not to cultivate the next life, but to meet you on the way
"That Day, That Year, That Life" - Tsangyang Gyatso

Nagenla, the highest place in the Namtso Scenic Area, coupled with Cangyang Gyatso's poems and the pure land, is very intoxicating.

4DAY 5.1

After a few days of adaptation, I felt that I could go out of Lhasa to have a look, so I chose a group tour for myself - Namtso one-day tour. Namtso is one of the "Three Sacred Lakes" in Tibet. I have heard friends from the inn say that Namtso is a must-go place when you come to Lhasa, especially if you want to stay for two days. Now the lake has just opened to melt ice, it is not suitable and there is no two-day tour, so there is only one-day tour, and the cost is 200RMB. (Local tyrants can look here, and you can charter a car to Namtso, 1200/day, you can play as you like).

Namtso is located in Damxung County, more than 200 kilometers away from Lhasa. The road conditions are very good. However, Tibet stipulates that the speed limit for all motor vehicles is 60/km. It takes about 10 hours to go to Namtso and back. It really takes 10 hours to travel for 1 hour. , and the group fee is only round-trip fare and ticket fee (because it is 120 tickets for May Day), you have to bring your own food.

It's all worth it when you see the holy lake and snow-capped mountains.

At 6 o'clock in the morning, we have to go to the White Tower of Bugong Square to gather and start. The tour guide driver is a handsome Tibetan guy, although he doesn't speak Mandarin very well. Because everyone got up early and started to sleep when they got in the car.

When I arrived in Lhasa, I was really not used to it. It would light up after 6 o'clock in the morning, and it would get dark after 9 o'clock in the evening. I felt that the day was very long.

When I woke up, I had gone from Lhasa at an altitude of 3,500 to an altitude of 4,260.

Snow mountains, grasslands, and yaks should be standard equipment on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

After leaving Lhasa, we should follow the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. It's a pity to think about it. I didn't have the opportunity to come to Lhasa by train.

I was happy to be shooting, and a yak came across the road. The driver was so scared that he stepped on the brakes. After the collision, he probably had to buy a yak and go home.

After driving for about 2 hours, we arrived at the first viewpoint. Nyainqentanglha Mountain.

It was still cloudy and foggy in the morning, and Nyainqentanglha could not see clearly.

In ancient Tibetan mythology, Nyainqentanglha Mountain and Namtso are not only the most eye-catching sacred mountains and holy lakes in Tibet, but also lovers and couples who depend on life and death. Nyainqentanglha Mountain looks more handsome because of Namtso Tall and straight, Namtso Lake is more beautiful and moving because of the reflection of Nyainqentanglha Mountain.

The driver brother said that he saw Nyainqentanglha, so he was not far away from his wife.

The altitude at this time is 4570, and I feel a little dizzy.

We walked slowly around Tanggula Mountain. Today's Qinghai-Tibet Plateau not only has snow-capped mountains, grasslands, and yaks, but also its most distinctive railway.

After driving for three hours, I finally arrived at the gate of Namtso Scenic Area. While waiting for the driver to buy a ticket, I found a big thing.

Tibetan mastiff, specially for tourists to take pictures, 10 yuan to take pictures casually. This Tibetan mastiff has been tamed and will not bite. Of course, it does not have the dominance of a purebred mastiff. It looks silly. But I personally feel that it is worthwhile to have a close contact with the Tibetan mastiff. It costs 20 yuan to shoot a white yak. Here is a reminder, if you have nothing to do, don’t take photos of Tibetans, as long as you take photos, they will ask you for money.

Look at how much this Tibetan mastiff dislikes me

After entering the scenic spot, the car began to climb the slope, and the surrounding environment began to change.

Because they are all separated by the car window, the colors in the photos are really not good-looking.

After 20 minutes of climbing, the mobile phone shows that the altitude is 5110 meters, and we have arrived at the Nagenla Pass.

From this mountain pass, you can overlook Namtso.

5190 meters, hypoxia and high cold, it is really fatal.

On the next downhill road, everyone was obviously excited, and they couldn't wait to get to the lake right away. The driver brother said that Namtso is not completely open. Some places are not open for tourism, so you can't go there.

A straight road, Nyainqentanglha on the left and Namtso on the right. Holy Land, here I come.

The parking lot is quite far from the lake. You can choose to ride a horse, which saves energy and has a great view. Riding 20 per person. During this period, I rode my horse for more than 20 meters and was stopped by the Tibetans. Then he led the horse for me, probably because he was afraid that I would have an accident.

The text will not be typed, and a few more pictures will be uploaded.

Immediately shot, a little shaken

I don't understand Tibetan beliefs

Secretly photographed white yak, run away

Nimadui or Manidui, forget it, anyway, it is faith.

The welcome stone, at first glance, has traces of ancient times

Due to various conditions, I can't go to other scenic spots. I have to go back to Lhasa after playing here for an hour. I will leave the next time if I have regrets.

On the way back, the girl in the car said that she hadn't taken enough photos to act like a baby to the driver. As a result, I won a little bonus time.

At 1:30 in the afternoon, we started to return. It is necessary to suffer from hypoxia for a long time. Fortunately, there are oxygen bottles.

In general, I spent 10 hours in the car on this day, but the 10-hour journey allowed me to challenge the altitude of 5,000 meters and let me appreciate the sacred mountain and holy lake. The last thing I want to say is that people with motion sickness + high reaction should not come, but the most rare thing is that people who spend their lives traveling are a kind of life attitude.
