There are thousands of reasons for Tibet, some for their dreams, some for their beliefs, and some for their own challenges. Or, there is no need for any reason at all, just the name Tibet is enough to make people dream.
I have been back and forth 3 times, but somehow I missed her - Zhumu Lama. In Tibet, almost every mountain is endowed with divinity. But only this mountain is full of fatal attraction to the whole human being.
Zhumu Lama, in Tibetan, is the mother of the earth, and Zhumu is a goddess.
The Nepalese call it Sakya Mata, which means "the mountain that reaches the sky" and "the commanding height of the earth".
Westerners call him Mt. Everest, Mount Everest. To commemorate the time when the British occupied Nepal, George Efferth, the director of the Survey of India who was responsible for surveying the Himalayas.
No matter how it is called, Mount Everest is always the ultimate goal of mountaineers all over the world, and it is also a place of pilgrimage in the minds of ordinary tourists.
Numerous movies, novels, and biographies extol her great name.
And today, I will come to her feet.

Pilgrimage and blessing — Tashilhunpo Monastery
The first ray of sunshine in the morning sprinkled on the golden roof of the temple, and I came to Tashilhunpo Monastery, the first stop of this trip. This temple, whose name means "auspicious Sumi", is located at the foot of Niseri Mountain in Shigatse City. It is the largest temple in the area. In the 12th year of the orthodox Ming Dynasty, Gendun Lord, a disciple of Tsongkhapa, built it, and it was expanded by the fourth Panchen Lama.
Entering the temple, the temple under the sunlight gives people a sense of serenity and coziness. You can see Tibetans worshiping everywhere, tourists visiting, and monks resting on stools.
Generally, if you shoot humanistic portraits in Tibet, especially monks, you still need to pay attention, and simply use facial expressions to indicate whether you can shoot. Compared with some places in Tibet, monks in Tashilhunpo hardly mind being photographed. Just be careful and be polite when taking pictures~
We wandered clockwise into the depths of the monastery to take pictures, and slowly found the monks in the monastery, dressed in yellow robes, walking in the same direction one after another, feeling that something big was about to happen!
Hastily and closely followed the direction where the monks gathered. Tsochin Hall. Unexpectedly, I was shocked by the sight in front of me. This is the main hall of Tashilhunpo Monastery. Outside the gate of the hall is a courtyard surrounded by corridors. This is the place where the Panchen Lama preached to the monks in the temple and the monks debated the scriptures. We were submerged by a yellow ocean in front of us. It turned out that we were so lucky that we ran into a more formal "fashi".
I saw hundreds of monks in the hall listening to a respected old monk chanting scriptures, without any disturbance from passing tourists.
It was later learned that the day before arriving at Tashilhunpo Monastery coincided with the arrival of the Eleventh Panchen Lama at Tashilhunpo Monastery. This puja should be dedicated to the Panchen Lama
On the west side of the temple, there is the Great Maitreya Hall, which is 30 meters high, which is very magnificent; there are also the Panchen Lama Pagoda Hall and the body of Tibetan relics. There are four dratsangs (scholastic schools) in the temple, and the teaching is both explicit and secret. Tashilhunpo Monastery is comparable to the Potala Palace. Together with Ganden Monastery, Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery, the "Three Great Monasteries" in Lhasa, it is collectively known as the "Four Great Monasteries" of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The four major temples, Kumbum Monastery in Qinghai and Labrang Monastery in Gansu are listed as the "Six Great Temples" of the Gelug Sect. The architectural structure also deeply influenced other Tibetan Buddhist buildings such as Wudangzhao. Tashilhunpo Monastery is one of the six famous Yellow Sect monasteries in China.
Stone Carving Museum
The first stone carving art museum in the Tibet Autonomous Region officially opened in Shigatse. This museum exhibits a large number of exquisite stone carvings in Tibet,
Rich Tibetan meal
Red River Mark - Zongshan
When I was a child, I must have watched a movie called "Red River Valley", directed by Feng Xiaogang and the heroine is Tranquility. Background of the story In Tibet in the early 20th century, a British expedition entered Tibet. Explorers Jones and Rockman were submerged by an avalanche and rescued by a Tibetan girl played by Tranquility. The explorer recuperated in Tibet and fell in love with this land, and of course the girl~ and the day after the British imperial army invaded Tibet, the explorer came to this land again. Thousands of Tibetan people fought bloody battles against the invading British army in order to defend their homeland and territorial integrity. The British army poured into the castle like a tide. Tranquility embraced the injured Xueer, facing the "envoy of civilization" and the "helping hand" extended to him by Rockman, who she had rescued, smilingly lit the lighter that Rockman gave him, and threw it at the kerosene everywhere. . After a loud noise, the castle disappeared in a thick smoke and fire.
And the prototype of that ancient castle (the voice changed) is Gyantse Zongshan.
Zongshan is isolated in the urban area of Gyantse, and the terrain is dangerous. It is a natural and strong barrier for Gyantse City. This used to be the seat of the Gyantse sect. Tibetan means castle and fortress, and it is also the name of the county-level administrative unit of the former Tibetan local government.
The anti-aggression war in history took place in 1904. The British army advanced to Gyantse and attacked Zongshan violently. Absolutely outnumbered, Zongshan fell.
The altitude of Shigatse is slightly higher than that of Lhasa 3500, and it is obviously very difficult to climb the tower here. Fortunately, the car can take us halfway, and we have to rely on ourselves for the rest of the road.
In fact, Zongshan Castle is not more than 100 meters high (more than 4,000 meters above sea level), but because Gyantse is a basin, the surrounding terrain is flat. Zong Shan also stands out from the crowd and is very eye-catching. On such a rising stone mountain, a white-walled and red-roofed castle group stands on the top of the mountain, which is particularly majestic and shocking.
It was on this Zongshan mountain that the people of Gyantse built forts and fought heroically with modern invaders with cannons, guns, swords, spears, bows and arrows. The battle lasted for more than two months. It is conceivable that How tragic.
Arriving at a high tower of the castle, the guide pointed to the outside of the wall. This is the place where the guards and civilians jumped off the cliff. It is said that the British army surrounded the Gyantse government and the Tibetan troops in the streets, guarded the roads leading to Lhasa and Shigatse, and completely cut off the Gyantse government and the water source of Gyantse city. The Tibetan army held on to Gyantse Castle for a month, running out of ammunition and food, but no one wavered in the Tibetan army and the militia. In the end, the British army used cannons to open the gap in the castle to organize an attack. The Tibetan army desperately resisted with stones after they had no ammunition. For three days and three nights. The British army broke through the castle, and all the remaining Tibetan troops jumped off the cliff in the end, and none of them surrendered.
I have to look with respect inside and outside the city walls, in this bloody plateau land, outside the immortal hero's castle. There is also a famous Baiju Temple at the foot of Zongshan Mountain.
Baiju Temple
Baiju Temple, known as "Bankuo Qude" in Tibetan, means "Auspicious Wheel Dale Temple", is located in Gyantse Town, Gyantse County, Shigatse, Tibet Autonomous Region, surrounded by mountains on the south, north and east sides, and the temple is surrounded by water. About 230 kilometers away, about 100 kilometers east of Shigatse, 3900 meters above sea level. It is a monastery where the Sakya, Shalu and Gelug sects of Tibetan Buddhism coexist.
When it comes to Gyantse Baiju Temple, the most admirable ones are the 100,000 auspicious door towers and the murals in the temple. Their reputation far exceeds the Tsochin Hall, which was built earlier, so that when someone mentions the Buddhist pagoda in Tibet, the first impression that appears in many people's minds will be this white pagoda.
Stop to take pictures in front of the White Pagoda, and many Tibetan believers come and go here with piety
The first to fourth floors of the pagoda expand outward layer by layer, and a large amount of space in the pagoda is fully utilized by Tibetan architects, forming a pagoda with 108 doors, 77 Buddhist halls, more than 100,000 mural Buddha statues and nearly a thousand statues. Zhongzhi Temple, so it is also called "One Hundred Thousand Pagodas".
The entire pagoda adopts the most basic geometric shapes, but these conflicting geometric shapes are perfectly integrated without showing the slightest incongruity. rhythm.
Passionate
In Tibet, lakes are called "measures", so Tibet has the saying of "one measure after another", which shows that there are many lakes in Tibet. Driving from Gyantse to Yadong, there will be a lot of "measures" along the way. Chongbayongcuo in the south of Kangma County is a product of Himalayan glacier movement. She has a beautiful name: Angel's Tears.
After driving forward for half an hour, I came to the most beautiful lake in Yadong - Duoqingcuo.
Duoqingcuo, also known as "Duoqingcuo", is a seldom-populated alpine lake with sparkling blue water, and water birds soar wantonly over the lake. The nearby snow mountain (Kangchengda Snow Mountain, 6678 meters above sea level) and the distant Zhuomulari Snow Mountain face Duoqingcuo far away.
The beautiful amorous lake reflects the snow-capped mountains in the lake, and the snow-capped mountains and the lake water reflect each other, forming a magnificent and beautiful picture.
Three Holy Lakes, Divine Lake, Ghost Lake...
all kinds of wonderful names,
All kinds of wonderful legends.
Of all these lakes,
Only Yadong's sentimental measures,
It is unforgettable to see and enchanting to look at.
In summer, the grass by the lake is lush,
Various wild flowers bloom in the meadow on the shore,
Flocks of waterfowl are frolicking in the lake.
Cows and horses are grazing leisurely on the bank,
A quiet and peaceful plateau scenery.
Snow mountains, lakes, grasslands,
There are so many beautiful things here,
Everything is so natural!
Zhuomulari Snow Mountain, also known as Goddess Peak,
7326 meters above sea level,
Along with Mount Everest, it is listed as the Seven Fairies.
Duoqingcuo perched quietly at her feet.
The top of the mountain is covered with snow all the year round,
It is breathtakingly beautiful.
Goddess is gentle and demure,
Passionate measures are the tears of longing.
In ancient Tibetan mythology,
Zhuomulari Snow Mountain and Duoqingcuo are known as holy mountains and holy lakes. When local people pass by here,
They will offer pure white hada to pray for the blessing of the gods.
parry prairie
The third is the "Pali Grassland". The Pali Grassland is located in Pali Town, Yadong County, Shigatse, Tibet Autonomous Region. It is in the north-south direction of the Himalayas. Because of the influence of the warm and humid airflow in the Indian Ocean, the precipitation here is very sufficient, so here It is also one of the "most fertile" grasslands in Tibet. There are more than 300 kinds of fine miscellaneous pastures growing on the valleys and slopes here, thus forming a meadow grassland with rich nutrition. The roots are entangled together, which forms a huge carpet-like grass felt layer. When you step on this prairie, you will feel soft and elastic. In midsummer, there will be a lot of flowers blooming on the prairie. Colorful small flowers, these small flowers add a lot of unique style to this vast grassland. It is said that the yaks and sheep living here "drink mineral water and eat Cordyceps", so it is conceivable that here How delicious is the farmed yak and mutton
Zhuomlari
Zhuomulari Snow Mountain is the seven fairies in the folklore of Yadong County that are juxtaposed with Mount Everest. Duoqingcuo on the way to Yadong can see her figure from a distance.
One, the mountain is steep, with an altitude of 7734 meters. Zhuomulari Snow Mountain, also known as Goddess Peak, is located in
Located in Pali Town, Yadong County, 50 kilometers away from the county seat and 250 kilometers away from Shigatse City,
Raya kilometers pass through the foothills. The top of Zhuomulari Snow Mountain is covered with snow all the year round.
At the foot of the snow mountain is Duoqing Lake. When viewed from a distance, the sacred mountains and holy lakes are integrated, charming and moving
The Goddess Peak and the mirror-like Duoqing Lake are inlaid on the lush Pali grassland, with snow-capped mountains,
The lake water, blue sky and white clouds complement each other, forming a perfect picture scroll.
salmon dinner
Yadong County is rich in products, and there are many precious ingredients. There are two most famous ones, one is Yadong black fungus, and the other is Yadong salmon. In fact, it belongs to the same family as the salmon that we usually eat in daily food. Salmon from Tibet were brought from Europe to the southern side of the Himalayas by the British in 1866. This kind of fish has colorful spots on its body, and the local people affectionately call it "flower fish". In the early 1960s, it was identified by experts and named "Yadong Salmon". At present, it is only distributed in Yadong River, Yadong County in my country.
There is a salmon farming base in Yadong, where you can not only visit to learn about salmon farming knowledge, but also fish on site.
The staff explained to us the knowledge of salmon breeding in detail, and told us that it takes 3 years for a salmon to be delivered to the table from a small fry. Maybe this is the reason why Yadong salmon is delicious.
If you are still not satisfied, you can also fish a salmon and take it away!
We took away the salmon, of course we didn’t take it to raise. We found a restaurant in Yadong, and there are three kinds of steamed salmon, sauerkraut salmon, and spicy salmon. Needless to say the taste, I can swallow my mouth water even thinking about it now!
Might Not Be Earth——Qilin Gorge
Donggar Monastery
Dongga means white conch in Tibetan, hence the name of Dongga Temple. Dongga Temple is one of the famous temples inherited by the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism, Baiyu, and the first of the thirteen temples of Seda in ancient and modern times. It is the largest and most influential Gelugpa temple in Yadong, with very, very few tourists.
When you enter, you will see a sculpture of a soldier riding a horse—General Zhang Jingwu, which has a magnificent history behind it.
On July 16, 1951, Zhang Jingwu, a representative of the Central People's Government, arrived in Yadong via India and met with the Fourteenth King. He handed over a personal letter from Chairman Mao Zedong and a copy of the Seventeen-Article Agreement, and at the same time publicized the party's wise policies. Up to now, there is still a "Conference Monument" in front of the temple. It has profound historical significance.
This Life, This Mountain——Mount Everest
Everest, the main peak of the Himalayas and the highest mountain in the world, is located on the border between China and Nepal, and the north is in Tingri County, Tibet, China. Zhaxi Zongxiang, Tingri County, Dongpo is in Qudang Township, Tingri County, there is the Everest Base Camp, and it is also the center of the Mount Everest Nature Reserve and the Nepal National Park that spans four counties in China.
The height of Mount Everest, the snow cover height (total height) used by Nepal and other countries is 8848 meters, which is consistent with the measured value of Mount Everest by Chinese surveyors and mappers in 1975; (Bare height is geological height) is 8844.43 meters.
At the beginning of April, the re-measurement of the height of Mount Everest was over. Results have not been announced yet.
We set off early at 5:00 a.m. from Tongjugou, and arrived at the Everest Base Camp with the slightly red sky. At 9 o'clock, we finally arrived at the parking lot under the Everest Base Camp, where we changed to Yutong's green eco-car for 20 minutes to go up the mountain. It just so happened that this train applied for the Guinness record of the world's highest operating electric car. So we went up the mountain with the staff of Guinness Book of Records and a lot of media reporters.
snowy treasure
In the south of Sakya Tibet, on the south bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River, is an old city with a thousand-year history.
Saganan Temple is a castle-like temple building. It is famous for its scriptures, Buddha statues, porcelain and murals, and is known as the "Second Dunhuang". Walking in the Sakya Temple, we are attracted by its rich historical relics. The white dharma conch consecrated by Sakyamuni, the 10-meter-high wall of scriptures, the scripture "Budejia Longma" weighing more than a thousand catties, and the legendary statue of Sakyamuni containing the relic of the Buddha's tooth all make us feel The weight of faith.
Finally, I came to the legendary wall of scriptures. The wall of scriptures in Sakya Temple is 10 meters high and 60 meters long. According to expert estimates
There are about 84,000 volumes of these scriptures. We learned from the local staff that the scripture wall of the Sakya Monastery can herald disasters. When the world is peaceful, the scripture walls of the Sakya Temple will be flat, but if the world is in chaos, the scriptures of the Sakya Temple will also be chaotic.
Among these scriptures, there is a rare splint-style scripture in the world, "Budejia Longma", which weighs more than a thousand catties. It is the largest scripture in the world. through. The religious relics, literature classics, royal gifts and royal seals of the past dynasties in the Sakya Monastery are full of beautiful things, and the value of the cultural relics is extremely high.
.
Sakya Temple was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in 1961. "Sakya" is a Tibetan transliteration, meaning gray and white soil. In 1073 A.D. (the sixth year of Xining in the Northern Song Dynasty), Kun Gongchajiebu (1034-1102), a descendant of the Tubo noble Kun family, discovered a hillside on the south side of the Benbo Mountain. The soil was white, shiny, and auspicious, namely Funded to build the Sakya Temple, and gradually formed the Sakya Sect. The Sakya Temple paints the temple walls with red symbolizing Manjushri, white symbolizing Guanyin Bodhisattva and blue symbolizing Vajrapani Bodhisattva, so the Sakya sect is also commonly known as "Flower Sect". There are precious Bayeux Sutra, Tripitaka "Bude Jialongma" and mandala murals of Yuan Dynasty, ancient porcelain and other cultural relics in the temple.
