Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is a place I have been looking forward to for a long time.

It is located in Leishan County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is composed of more than ten natural villages built on the mountain. It is the largest Miao village in China. Miao architecture, clothing, silver jewelry, language, food, traditional customs are not only typical, but also well preserved. There is no severe cold in winter and no extreme heat in summer, so you can take your family to a summer resort. And it really restores the scenes of Spirited Away, with a strong sense of comics!

Many people say that they don’t like the current Qianhu Miao Village because it is heavily commercialized. Some people say that Qianhu Miao Village is worth visiting again and again... In fact, there will always be people who say it is good or bad in every place. Both have two sides, the key is how you feel...!

This time also because of the epidemic, I accompanied my mother to my grandmother's house in Guizhou when I was free, and had the opportunity to come to Qianhu Miao Village, hehe...

first day

Arrive at the destination one day in advance to check in, four adults, two babies, self-driving from Bijie, Guizhou to Qianhu Miao Village. Departure at 4:00 p.m., the journey took about five hours, and we took two breaks on the highway. The car is full of gas, and the toll fee is about 250.

The hotel was booked online. I arrived at the Ximen parking lot of Qianhu Miaozhai around 10:30 in the evening. I went there in early July. During the epidemic period, there were no tickets (usually tickets + cable car 65Y), but during the day, you need to take a cable car (20Y per person) or a bus (5Y per person) Smaller babies do not need it. We arrived at night without a cable car, and the private car the hotel found was 20 per person. Hotels and B&Bs here are usually a bit of a hassle to find by yourself, they will pick you up and take things for you, and they are all very enthusiastic (if you are driving by yourself, it is best to put the suitcase in the car, and it is convenient to pack and carry the things you need).

All the way from the mountain to the hotel, the night view of Miao Village is very beautiful...

I booked a suite with a double bed and a double bed at 200. I don't recommend this hotel. Although the owner is very enthusiastic, the sound insulation is not good. The sound of stepping on the floor and stairs and closing the door is very loud, which affects rest. It's too late. There are old people and children, so they sleep all night...

You can put down your luggage first, and take your family out for supper. The price of barbecue is a little higher than usual, which is acceptable. The prices in supermarkets are generally the price of scenic spots, and the night view is worth seeing.

the next day

Get up early and walk along the hotel path to the main road to the viewing platform. You can do morning exercises all the way uphill, and you can have breakfast along the way and find a B&B.

In the morning, there are already many tourists on the viewing platform, and you can overlook the whole village, and you will be shocked by the scale and grandeur of the village...

Going down the viewing platform path, there are many homestays. You can check the rooms first, and then check in if you are satisfied. This time we stayed at "Xitang Shanshe". Whether it is the room or the backyard of the hall, fried chicken is my appetite. I chose it The room is usually five to six hundred. During the epidemic, the boss is handsome and easy to talk to. Three hundred stays. There are two rooms, one with bunk beds, and one room with fried chicken double bed. There is also a couch next to it, which is convenient for sleeping and viewing the scenery. There is a fence outside the living room to see the whole village, and there is also a mahjong table. You can also drink tea made by the boss himself in the lobby for free, and enjoy the scenery while drinking tea, which is beautiful! (Accommodation is the most important thing when traveling. Only when you live comfortably can you play comfortably, especially if you bring the elderly and children, you must find a comfortable hotel or homestay!)

There are a lot of clothing rentals along the way down the B&B, we go back and check out first to get the things (it must be said that it is best not to take the suitcase, there are many stairs, if you can’t find it, the hotel will pick it up). Put your luggage away, rest in the room for a while, the boss recommended the restaurant...the hotel is on the way down from the hotel, you must eat the hot and sour fish in sour soup, the aftertaste is endless, we ate a total of two hundred for lunch...

After eating, go down the stairs to rent clothes, you can experience the joy of a Miao girl, hahaha! Clothing prices vary, you can bargain, say there is a time limit, but in fact, you can pat and pat casually... Chaoji likes Miao costumes. She wears two sets, and her mother also wears two sets. The baby is two years old, and there are also clothes.

In the evening, I walked through the alleys, Miao villages, commercial areas, and vegetable markets in the evening against the sunset. Haha... Take a walk around and there is a snack street, where you can eat all kinds of Guizhou snacks.

There is also a song and dance performance, you can watch it, it is a large-scale original ecological Miao village scene song and dance drama, the venue is very large, you can enjoy watching the wonderful performances brought by Miao girls.

Find a restaurant to have a delicious meal, and then stroll to the viewing platform after the meal to see the spectacular night view of Qianhu Miao Village. The lights light up the entire night sky, making people intoxicated...

third day

I played all day the day before and went to bed very late. Make sure the old people and children have a good rest. Everyone slept all morning.

This hotel must be praised, it is comfortable to sleep, clean and tidy, the key is to have a large balcony to watch the panorama, it is so beautiful.

We came out of the homestay and walked along the path to the viewing platform, and continued to walk up for about ten minutes. There was a bus stop, 5 adults per person.

To the terminal, walk out along the road to the Ximen parking lot.
