Tongren, Guizhou was originally not in this year's plan. It was really a trip that was just a walk away. I hurriedly took the high-speed train to Tongren, Guizhou.
Tongren is encircled clockwise by Chongqing, Changsha, Guangzhou, Nanning, Guiyang and other cities in a clockwise direction. Standing at one (province) and looking at four (provinces), it has cultural differences, geographical advantages, market exposure, and hinterland capacity, which is rare!
During the trip to Tongren, I personally experienced the classic tour route in Tongren. The mental journey was full of ups and downs, with transitions, novelties, heartbeats, and peace. Everything was so proper and full of rhythm.
When I set foot on the high-speed rail and thought of going to a completely unfamiliar place, I was a little apprehensive and curious. Arrived in Tongren at around 18:00, and the accommodation was arranged in the urban area. Naturally, I wanted to visit the "Ancient City of Tongren" in the evening. When I walked into the streets of the ancient city, I didn't have many opportunities to understand the "ancient" and "city". But when I walked out of the ancient city, I suddenly looked back. Only then can I feel the magnificence of the "ancient city" and the night scene around the ancient city, and the cooperation with the undulating mountains and layers will give me more imagination about the ancient city, from ancient times to the present.
At the end of September 2021, the climate in Tongren has continued to be extremely hot in summer (about 35 degrees) without the coolness after the Mid-Autumn Festival. There is no cool breeze in the air, as if to imprint the blue sky and white clouds of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau on the hearts of every tourist.
On the second day, we first headed south to Zhusha Town, Wanshan District, Tongren City. The tour route was the red education base, that era, the underground Great Wall and the glass plank road in sequence, which was very smooth and compact.
The most surprising thing is that I turned back to the urban area of Tongren and passed the international marathon smart runway starting from Baguanxi Village in Bijiang District and ending in Jiangkou County. The 43-kilometer "cinnabar red" runway runs along the Jinjiang River. Laying in the same direction organically connects Fanjing Mountain in the west and Tongren City in the east, forming a pattern of button buttons and loop flowers in Chinese clothing. People understand the height of Mount Fanjing and the size of Tongren City. Unexpectedly, a runway combines Tongren's local "cinnabar" elements and Chinese buckle elements, which is very impactful! It's a pity that when passing the marathon track, I can only wait and see by car, and cannot get out of the car to take pictures.

In the evening, the "Miao Embroidery + Splendid Embroidery" performance in the urban area of Tongren is fashionable, connecting traditional "embroidery" and traditional "dyeing" with the present and expressing it with a catwalk.
Get up early, just to go up the mountain before there are too many people. Fanjing East Gate is not far from Tongren (within 1 hour’s drive). After entering the mountain, the prescribed action is to take a minibus transfer vehicle and circle the mountain road for about 40 minutes, and arrive at the Yu’ao cable car station (850 meters above sea level) to transfer. There are 8 gondola-type cable cars. After the cable car starts to lift, it feels a little dizzying. On the cable car, you can have a bird's-eye view of the forest and trails below, look up at the mountains in front of the left and the golden roof in the distance, and wait blankly for the box to pass through the sea of clouds. After the hanging box passes through the sea of clouds, experience the "brightness of the eyes". The cable car runs for about 30 minutes and arrives at the upper station of the Wanbaoyan cable car (2100 meters above sea level).
The next step is to climb the mountain on foot and climb to Purdue Square. The road up the mountain is not a problem. They are all tourist trails that have been sorted out. The problem is the adjustment and adaptation speed of the individual body from 850 meters to more than 2100 meters in a short period of time (this point hopes to attract attention). Climb to Pudu Square (tourist distribution center, 2242 meters above sea level) to understand that Hongyunjinding and Mushroom Stone are a capital V in front of your eyes. To the left is to climb the steep stone steps to Hongyunjinding on the huge stone pillar. To the right is a long and gentle mountain road leading directly to Mushroom Stone. This is not a trail for viewing the scenery along the way, but a difficult problem of choosing one of the two and arranging the roads first.
Bitter before sweet, go to the left, and go up the steps outside the spiral stone pillar. The road is very narrow, and one person can block the way for others. As long as you enter the mountain road, you have to go up all the way. The stone steps are narrow, sometimes not even the length of a shoe, and I dare not raise my head to look around calmly, so I can only keep my eyes on the road under my feet; the stone steps are high, sometimes it is difficult to lift my feet, and I feel that the raised knees are almost level with the chest The corner is small, there is no place to rest, and there are not many opportunities to take a few photos quietly.
The stone pillar is like a dry upright wooden pile. After years of wind and rain, the upper end splits into two petals, and a line of sky is formed between the two petals. Building a small bridge on top of the two petals is like using The staples pull the two petals together tightly, as if the cracks in the "dead wood" are not allowed to spread downward. I lament the persistence of the builders, who can create magic in this tiny place!
I dare not slack off when I go down the mountain, for fear of rolling down a somersault, it will be miserable. While holding on to the railing, I trembling (not because I am afraid, but my legs tremble uncontrollably) descending, finally descending to Purdue Square, suddenly I feel that such a steep mountain can be climbed up and down. Is Mushroom Rock still on the table? So he walked to the right side of the V without hesitation. Walking to the middle of the hill, looking back at Hongyun Jinding, I suddenly found that the Jinding that I just climbed is connected with the mountain below. The whole landscape of Guizhou. In this way, after a few steps, I turned my head and walked up the mountain while admiring the scenery. I didn't feel tired at all, and slowly approached Mushroom Stone. Finally, both ends of the V are up, and they are facing each other, which has a special flavor.
In retrospect, the itinerary of Mount Fanjing was too tight. It took 3 hours to reach the Dongshan Gate, complete the entire uphill journey, and then return to the parking lot. Excluding the transfer time, the climbing time was only 1 hour. There was no chance to appreciate more, and it could only be counted as arriving. This visit, I hope to have the opportunity to savor it carefully again.
Not far from Fanjing Mountain is Yunshe Village, a very distinctive village. Go to the countryside of Tongren to experience the ethnic customs.
